Haesol's Feeling on Yeonwoo

Heads up to anyone who's going to read this this is a very long post. ❤️

All right I was thinking about this for a while. And yesterday's discussion on whether Haesol really likes Yeonwoo really stirred up this topic more for me. Yesterday after the thread on Yeonwoo and Haesol having not kissed yet came up there was a topic in the comments about whether she really even liked him.

And for me I understand that she does like him but I needed to find a way to explain it. So I thought about it all day. (As you can tell I am very obsessed with this manhwa)

Here's a conclusion I came up with.

Haesol before Yeonwoo confesses to her pays attention to him. I mean that as in she actively tries to understand him better. In the beginning she thinks that he doesn't like her considering his jittery and nervous personality. This draws her attention considering how normally people will flock to her. Giving her more initiative to try to build a relationship with him.

This starting point in their relationship is out of pure curiosity and the more time she spends with him she understands that Yeonwoo is a kind, loyal and selfless person. She also knows that he's a good judge of character. So her liking him is not out of left field. In her eyes she has only seen good come from him. Whereas Yeonwoo who has only negative things to say about himself she only has positive things that she can say about him. Don't get me wrong though she can still see his flaws but in her eyes his positives outweighs negatives.

The more time she spends with him the more she is drawn to him. Yeonwoo has a naturally nurturing personality and for someone who hasn't had someone like that she is automatically drawn to him. When he helps Nari dispite them not knowing each other that well with her bullying incident. That makes her trust him more.

Haesol see this and the more she watches him and interacts with him she realizes that he is a genuinely good and caring person. Caring in a way that she has never experienced before. This is all in the beginning of their relationship by the way before he confesses to her.

When he confesses to her she knows all of this she sees all of this and the fact that he is a good friend of hers kind of puts her off because in the past friends have confessed her. but she realizes that his confession is different in the fact that he just wants to have her know what he feels for her he does not expect them to go out. When she realizes this she says well why not and just goes for it because as I said before she is drawn to him.

Giving her home life. someone like yeonwoo is exactly what she needs so it's very believable that she falls for him. And as the chapters go on it is quite obvious if you look at her character that she does like him. The way she talks to him and interacts with him you can tell that she cares about him. And the beach episode where she tells him I want to help you because even though she does see more positive than negative in him. She knows that he does not think of himself that way so she wants to help him see himself the way she sees him. She does genuinely care for him and wants to take care of him.

When analyzing a character like Haesol you have to look at her actions and not her face because if you look at her face you are not going to see any semblance of emotion given how emotionally numb she is. So I feel like that is why some people say that she doesn't like him because they don't look at her actions they look at her face. Also given the fact that in the beginning of their relationship she was very standoffish. However I like to say that she was nervous because let's remember she has never had a boyfriend before. So to her she is nervous but to us as the audience she seems standoffish and distant from yeonwoo. If we go by her actions she likes him. The fact that she is willing to have him be so close and that she initiates contact with him when she doesn't do that with someone like Jinwoo who she has known longer than Yeonwoo that speaks for itself.

I just wanted to get my opinion out there because there seems to be a lot of people who don't understand her character and who thinks that she doesn't like Yeonwoo. when in my eyes from the very beginning she did have an interest towards him and the longer they spent time together the more her image of him changed from someone who she thought of as a friend to someone who she thinks of as a lover.

Also let us remember this is a slow burn so the relationship is going to develop in a realistic way. Plus they're teenagers and they're going to be awkward.

I've been listening to Laufey lately and the inspiration that her songs give me are absolutely insane.

the song haunted from her bewitched album is great for a Exe's to Lover's au. The more I think about it the more Yeonwoo and Haesol are perfect for an ex's to lovers au. There high school relationship as of right now is not to stable. They both have heaps on insecurities that prevent them from opening up with each other. Haesol with her family troubles and Yeonwoo with his trauma of what happened to him in middle school (I pray for him everyday.)

These insecurities can very much so break there relationship and contrary to what most people would think Yeonwoo would be the one to breath up with Haesol. I should do a analysis on her character and why she wouldn't even think to break up with him. it could help me with my future works.

Back to the topic Yeonwoo would break up with Haesol maybe because he feel disgusting when there relationship eventually gets to the point of being intimate with each other or there relationship gets leaked to there peers and things go haywire. His school life could start to ruin his mental state and just reinforce his one biggest fear "I would be her only flaw" It would ruin him and he would feel like nothing next to her.

This could be after Junhyuk left him and he could start isolating himself from other people out of fear of them leaving too. Maybe that would be the main reason he leaves not only because of the rumors but also he doesn't want someone else to leave him.

So they break up and Yeonwoo finds that if he wants to get better he needs to be bolder and more comfortable being in front of people. it's always been a head cannon of mine that he would be a good actor. So he stays with the theater club (after the play) and he finds he likes acting a lot. He goes to collage and eventually lands an interview with an agency and he starts acting and his confidence grows

time skip and He's a well know actor. One day gets an offer that is unlike anything he's gotten before and it reminds him of his high school days. He takes the offer as a way to sort of go back to those times and do things differently.

When he goes to the meeting for all the actors and crew members to get acquainted with them he finds out that... Haesol is the female lead he will be acting with and chaos ensues.

Even better Haesol has not moved on from Haesol at all and is still hung up on him. will she be able to get him back? Will Yeonwoo accept her advances?

Yeonwoo's Innocence Chapter 131 thouhts

After coming back from the horror that was the last few weeks because of the chapters of his nightmare I tell you I needed this chapter.

I love the fact that she woke him up and she had some semblance of emotion on her face cuz normally her face is just blank which I understand as to why her face is like that all the time but this time I'm happy that she had a look of genuine shock and worry on her face when yeonwoo woke up.

Everything was going well she comforted him things were going well and then poor yeonwoo had to say "being with you right now feel so good" like this boy is digging his own grave. She's already whipped for you. OMG 🤣.

The look on her face when she hugs him is so funny to me like she gone. goone. the fact that she hugs him so tight this time it feels different from all of the other times she hugs him and I was proven RIGHT when she she pulled there faces close almost ....

ALMOST AS IF SHE WANTS TO KISS HIM LIKE OMG YESSSS. . . . . . . Then we got baited. Ya nothing new 😔

NEVER BEEN MORE MAD THAN I WAS IN THAT MOMENT.

Fricken Junhyuk called and ruined the nice ambiance of the couple. Than right before yeonwoo picks up he's like "oh my God what was that atmosphere that we just had" like bro I know you're Innocent but you can't be that innocent. (He is he really is)

Then what makes things even worse is that he literally stands up our girl for his best friend. I REPEAT HIS BEST FRIEND. BRO I KNOW Y'ALL'S RELATIONSHIP IS CLOSE BUT THAT'S YOUR GIRLFRIEND. And she was making advances on you too. Like broooo. That was your chance but you didn't even know.

Anyways when Yeoneoohas to leave to go and meet Junhyuk. Haesol stands they're watching him as he leaves and she's like why do I feel so bad and annoyed. Like girl come on you just got stood up for his best friend you have every right to be annoyed ESPECIALLY WHEN YOU WERE GOING TO KISS HIM.

Then we get to yeonwoo and Junhyuk oh my God these two deserve a whole entire post of their own because what the heck. how can you go from one extreme to the other

JUNHYK PLEASE. One minute he's all over his best friend. Being Buddy Buddy. Thinking things like 'yeonwoo needs me I have to be by his side all the time'. The next minute he's like 'our relationship is unhealthy we can't be friends anymore don't talk to me'. Like are you serious right now you're just going to leave him alone cold turkey no explanation.

I understand that now you understand that you are obsessive and protective over yeonwoo but this is not the way. THIS IS NOT THE WAY. I UNDERSTAND TEENAGERS BUT TALK IT OUT PLEASE USE YOUR WORDS.

Out here causing unnecessary drama and emotional termoil for our baby can you not. He just had to relieve his worst nightmare. 😭

Overall this chapter was full of left hooks, baits some fluff in the middle and then a straight-up punch of Angst right at the end.

To be honest I'm just happy that we're out of that nightmare because man was I pulling my hair out.

🧡Yeonwoos Innocence Manhwa Review.🧡

Now this is a manhwa that I hold very dear to my heart. It is probably one of my most favorite manhwas ever of all time. I don't know many people who like this but the people who I know who do like this are just as obsessed with it as I am. I think that is a testament to just how good this manhwa is.

This manhwa is a roles reversal manhwa that consists of the pairing yeonwoo who is a very timid shy and anxious person who is constantly mistaken for a girl because of his delicate features and haesool who is the most popular girl in school and she has an incredibly handsome and beautiful appearance. She in terms of personality seems to be very emotionless but there's a reason for that.

Now this manhwa is not just a romance but it also has a plot and story that it is trying to tell. while there is a main plot that is more important than the romance. the romance is intertwined with the plot. This is also a very slow burn romance so if you do not have the patience to read this do not cuz you will need a lot of patience if you want to enjoy this to its fullest.

The beginning of this manhwa starts off with our main character yeonwoo having a crush on haesool and everything turns out pretty well. they become friends and eventually he confesses to her. the state which he confesses to her is honestly embarrassing but that's besides the point.

As we see the relationship grow the story continues and we get some pretty important events that happen and after all that is finished we can see that yeonwoo has definitely changed from how he was in the beginning he does have progress but it is not something that you will notice immediately it is more little details of change that you notice here and there. As you read through this manhwa you will find out that both of the characters are both traumatized. SEVERELY. This is very important because it is probably one of the most accurate portrayals of trauma in a romantic aspect that I have seen. Some people might complain that it is infuriating to see how certain things that could be resolved very easily are not resolved and drag on but this is important it shows just how traumatized the characters are.

What keeps me staying and reading this manhwa is the story is super compelling and good once you get into it. the romantic scenes that happen are very good they are not as frequent as other manhwa but they are so very satisfying every scene with them together in a romantic scene is building up to them trusting each other more and deepening their relationship.

This manhwa is amazing and I would recommend a lot of people to read it and give me your thoughts on it. I am OBSESSED with it and needed more content and fanfics of these two.
