Thank you for tagging me @peachpety. I always love having a good excuse to talk about myself and my fics lol

Name: Ana or static_abyss on most social media and AO3.

Fandoms: Harry Potter. I’m a bit in love with Ron/Harry at the moment but I enjoy a variety of pairings in the fandom. I also still write for Teen Wolf, Shadowhunters, Les Miserables, Superntural on occassion, THE OLD GUARD. (If you love immortal gays and action sequences, you will love this movie. I promise). I also really like rewatching Spartacus on occasion. Good Omens, All for the Game, Killing Eve, parts of the MCU, Check Please was cute. I’m in a bit of everything here and there. Currently watching The Untamed and trying to finish LOVECRAFT COUNTRY. (Again, highly reccomend, 10/10 for horror drama and also content and everything).

Where you post: I post all of my stuff on my AO3

Most popular oneshot: It’s called Potential and it’s a Shadowhunters soulmate AU. My second most popular fic is also a soulmate AU but for Teen Wolf. And I am currently writing one for HP because I like soulmate AUs.

Most popular multichap: If we’re talking two chapters or more, then it’s the Teen Wolf soulmate AU called You’ll Remember Me. If we’re talking a completed fic that’s more than 2 chapters long then it’s the only one I’ve ever written and it’s the drarry I wrote for LCD, called Change on the Horizon.

Favorite story you’ve written so far: I like all the fic I write for the most part. There are a few that are -_- just because of the headspace I was in at the time that I wrote them. I have a terrible soft spot for this Ron/Harry I wrote called Sun Kissed but my favorite so far has to be this Dean-centric destiel fic called Just for a Moment. Most of my destiel fics tend to be Dean-centric and because I used to use Supernatural as a coping mechanism when I was younger, I have a soft spot for the earlier seasons and also Dean Winchester and by extension, any fic I’ve written for that fandom.

Fic you were nervous to post: This was for sure And They Say Romance is Dead, the drarry I wrote for fluff fest 2020. That was mostly because it was a gift for @thusspoketrish and she’s wonderful and amazing and her writing is spectacular so obviosuly I was nervous she wouldn’t like it. Also, I am terrible at coming up with funny scenarios.

How you choose your titles: There is a to this madness. I either choose a line from a song that I was listening to at the time I wrote the fic, or a line from a song that inspired the fic. OR I pick a theme and use that to inspire the title and on occassion, the title is just a brief summary of the fic itself. I’ve also been known to use parts of sayings or to rearrange sayings/quotes to fit my fic theme.

Do you outline: Yes, in the sense that I will write a summary and bullet point main ideas. And if the fic is going to be long, I go into more details. But since I mostly write oneshots, I usually just write a summary and then the fic itself.

Complete: I have 88 completed fics on AO3

In progress: Listen to me. I have 5 unfinished fics, which can technically be considred in progress. They are all fics that I was seriously invested in and excited to write but things happen and they never got finished. This is why I stick to oneshots or wait until I’m done writing to post fic. Unfortunately, I’ve learned nothing in the last 10 years of fic writing so these 5 fics will most likely never be completed. Or maybe they will but not anytime soon.

Coming soon/not started: I have this Ron/Harry soulmate AU that I’m very excited about. I’m also working on the Old Guard Big Bang 2021 and that fic is going to be my second, completed multi-chapter fic and that’s exciting. I also have a rarepair bingo card so I’ve got some James/Sirius stuff going on. And like 4 completed fest fic that will be revealed in a few weeks. And I joined the Shameless 2021 big bang so that’s also coming soon.

Prompts? I take prompts and also tend to leave prompts on prompting blogs. Mostly on dreamwidth.

Upcoming work you’re most excited about: The Old Guard Big Bang fic I’m currently working on. It’s ensemble fic with canon pairings and I don’t know if I’m allowed to talk about it yet, but I’m very very excited.
