dndads is SO good. season one goes insanely hard while season 2 is just getting good. if you enjoyed the episodes where jay confronts her dad and shit then you'd probably like this bc shit like that happens every 10 or so episodes. generational trauma and parental love are running themes throughout both seasons, both themes are handled surprisingly well given how many forms they take shape in. also it is really really funny sometimes, the cold opens are heartbreakingly funny (s2 ep37), and the main cast are really good at what they do. however, dndads is barely a dnd podcast... they are extremely bad at the game.... especially in the earlier episodes so if you care a lot about the rules and the mechanics of dnd then you might not really enjoy this bc uh the rule of cool is heavily present throughout the podcast. THEY GET BETTER IN SEASON 2 THOUGH :D anyw i hope you enjoy dndads if you ever get around to listening to it.... it's a ride
