Also, I'd like to announce that I'll be writing a fic for Zelda Spellman. Not sure if it'll be just Zelda x Reader or Zelda x Reader x Mambo Marie, because why the heck not. I love those two together.
Stay tuned.

What About You? What About Me?
Pairing: Zelda Spellman x Reader, Other Character x Reader.
Warnings: Does unrequited love count? Cause that shit hurts.
Co-Writer/Editor: @empatheticroses
A/N: This took a long while mainly because my friend and I had classes up our asses.
Tumblr media
You had been pining after her for years. Two, to be exact, but it felt like an eternity with how your attempts to let her know had been disregarded. Specifically, when you would do little things to help her work as the Unholy Choir’s director—bringing her cups of crisp cold water, sometimes cups of hot tea when she had a sore throat. When you would visit the Spellman residence, just to see more of her and to say ‘hi’ to the family, you would help her tidy up, make her drinks, tiny snacks; even helping to clean up after dinner. Your help didn’t go unnoticed by the other residence members, who thanked you with either a hug, specifically a Hilda hug, those were the best or a kind tone of voice.
Whenever Zelda did notice, she would nod and gently pat you on the head. Saying a quiet ‘thank you.’ Perhaps you were petty for wanting more gratitude from the redhead.
Months go by, Zelda was with Marie now, and for a while, you thought you could handle it; and you did for the most part. You were holding it well, all the way up till Hilda and Cee’s wedding reception. After Sabrina had saved the coven from “The Uninvited,” the evening’s festivities continued. Sipping on wine, you innocently looked over, you saw Zelda and Marie kiss, after that, it was over, you had to leave. Tears in your eyes and walking, you accidentally bumped into Hilda. “Darling, what’s wrong?” The blonde asked, her hand gently grasping your forearm. You shook your head, “No, I am fine; I don’t want to ruin your night. I just have to go.” You said, not without looking away at Zelda one last time. Hilda looked at you after you turned your head to her; an understanding look from the blonde was all you needed from her before you left.
Everyone had noticed how you craved the attention and acceptance from the redhead, even her sister. When it came to it, Hilda was your shoulder to lean on when Zelda was seemingly prospering, and you were shriveling, dejection, and hurt filling your soul. When Zelda had married Faustus, you tried your best to support her. Being her friend, you felt you needed it; however, Hilda told you that feeling the way you were, betrayed and hurt, was perfectly fine.
When Zelda had come back from her Honeymoon under the effects of the Caligari Spell, you tried your best to reach her, yet she pushed you away, saying she had always been that way. When she had the spell broken, you were right by her side, placing a hot cup of tea in front of her. You had pushed yourself to dig your happiness’ grave just to please her, your mental and emotional health pushed to the side to prioritize her’s. To say that you were breaking was an understatement. You were already far gone, broken,  yet you chose to stay, pampering Zelda as she walked off with another. Hilda held you as you sobbed that night, wailing at the heartbreak that consumed you once more.
Your legs push you to the main foyer of Dorian’s, a quiet ‘lanuae magicae’ leaving your lips as you walk. Your surroundings turn from those of the nightclub to your bedroom; quickly, you move to gather your things, using your magic to finish quicker. Your suitcase, full of your clothes, was ready to be put in your car. Any type of electronic you own is packed separately and carefully. Your bed is stripped of its dark grey sheets and comforter, packed in another suitcase. You were doing it. You were leaving. Finally, after years of pining after Zelda, pampering her every need and want, and your suffering, you were putting yourself first. You decided then and there; you would never let yourself get hurt just to please someone ever again, mainly when they chose not to acknowledge you and your attempts to please them.
Changing your clothes, you place your dress in the suitcase with your clothes, zipping it up and teleporting it to the trunk of your car, your other bags following as well. By now, your trunk and backseat were bound to be full, perhaps even your passenger seat. Walking downstairs, you grab your spare money jar. It was meant for paying bills, but you wouldn’t need to pay them for a while, not until you settled down somewhere else.
Ten thousand dollars in cash, you had ten thousand dollars. That itself was more than enough combined with your current amount in the bank.
With a small sigh, you turn off all the lights with a wave of your hand, and staring back into the darkness of your living room, you shut the door and leave. Your first stop was the Spellman residence. No one would be home, so it was perfect for you to get in, get out, and leave a note for Hilda. An apology. You apologized for so many things in the letter you had no clue what it was about anymore, just an apology, you supposed.
Admitting it hadn’t been hard, but you would miss your chaotic adoptive niece, always causing something to happen in Greendale. Ambrose, still having to help her fix the mistakes. Your little, yet highly elder, nephew. His small spouts of wisdom from all his years of living.  Hilda and her kind heart, her ability to calm you down just by existing. And Zelda,  there was so much to miss about her, the snooty remarks, the ways she’d reel you in hook, line, and sinker. She was leaving you deft and dim, leaving you to crack and pour.
The letter was addressed to Hilda, and you had hoped that she wouldn’t tell Zelda with the begging inside the note. You hoped she would tell Ambrose and Sabrina and tell them not to let Zelda know. You were moving on. That was that.
What you hadn’t expected when you left and arrived in Scarsdale, a small quaint town outside of Greendale, was to meet a woman. A beautiful, kind, and acknowledging woman. When you had bumped into each other, her coffee spilling all over her, you repeatedly apologized, saying you’d buy her another coffee and pay for her dirty clothes to be cleaned. She nodded and let you guide her to the coffee shop, buying her a replacement drink and a pastry. And then, she asked you on a date. Her name was Edalyn, Eda for short. She was in her thirties, much younger than Zelda, and very foxy. She had bright ginger hair, wild like a lion's mane, yet well kept. Her eyes were very light brown, and in the sun, they were golden.
Eventually, one date turned into two and two into three. Soon enough, five months of seeing each other passed, and you decide to move in together. Eda herself turned out to be a witch.
Yes, it did remind you of Zelda, but you had Eda now. You didn’t need Zelda, and you didn’t crave her affections anymore. You desired Eda’s, and she gave it freely. Whenever you would bring her little snacks or drinks, she would kiss your cheek, take your hand and say ‘Thank you.’
When you would bring her lunch for work- dinner if she stayed later than usual- she would pull you into her lap and nuzzle into your neck, mumbling tiny ‘Thank you’s. Fixing her a bath before bed rewarded you with kisses all over your face, tiny ‘I love you’s leaving her throat. Even if you didn’t do anything for her, she would kiss you, whether it was on your cheek, neck, lips.
This is the affection you always deserved. You reminded yourself.
Eda fixed you, and she said that you set her as well.
This is the affection you deserve.
At night you would cuddle into her arms and fall asleep to the sound of her heartbeat, her chin resting on the top of your head.
You deserve to heal.
Some days, Hilda would apparate to you, checking in on you. She would kiss your cheek and hug you, telling you that when she finished apparating, she would teleport a basket of pastries to you. She would ask you how you were doing if you had met anyone. You told her you had. You told her how happy Eda made you, how well she treated you. Hilda would smile and place her hands on top of yours, “You deserve every bit of affection she gives to you! So long as you return it!” And you did, you told her. Every time Eda would be affectionate, you would be affectionate back. A smile would cross her face, and she would tear up, “May I say something?” You’d nod. “Zelda is… she’s going nuts dear. She hasn’t heard from you, and she thinks you're just ignoring her. Just be careful alright? You know Zelda, she always does something bizarre when she needs an answer.” You had nodded and Hilda frowned slightly, “I have to go now. Sabrina and Ambrose miss you dearly; we all do. And don’t worry, we haven’t told Zelda what happened.” A small ‘thank you’ left your lips, and you smiled at Hilda. “Bring Sabrina next time, okay? Maybe Ambrose if possible.” She would nod, and then, she would be gone.
The next time she visited you, Sabrina was with her, and Eda was home. Hilda approved of Eda quickly and telling you she, as Sabrina would be right back, they disappeared and reappeared, this time there. Hilda’s warm arms welcomed you, and you teared up as you laid your head against her shoulder. Sabrina moved to wrap her arms around you, and she nuzzled into your shoulder.
Tears freely flowed down her face, her brown eyes almost shining. “I missed you, Auntie (Y/N).” A shaky, “I missed you too, kid,” escaped your lips, and you kissed her forehead. You turned your head to look at Eda. “Eda, this is Sabrina and Hilda, Hilda, Sabrina, meet Eda.” Hilda had moved to hug her immediately, thanking her for taking care of you. Sabrina shook her head gently, little chuckles escaping her mouth.  After Hilda had finished her ‘thank you’s, she had set out to your kitchen, with yours and Eda’s permission, to cook some dinner.
Sabrina gently put her hand out, “It’s nice to meet you. Auntie (Y/N) talks about you to Aunt Hilda all the time!” Eda chuckled, moving her hand to grips Sabrina’s, “And have I made a good impression?”
“The best.” Sabrina glanced at you. Your hands were busy making the broth for the soup. “Anyone who makes my Aunts happy has my full approval.” A smile graced Eda’s face, and she looked at you. “I make her that happy?” Sabrina Nodded. “Yeah, My other Aunt, Zelda- the one (Y/N) is in hiding from- held (Y/N)’s affection for a long time. One day she had enough and left, finally choosing her happiness and mental health over someone’s Auntie’s. My Aunt Zelda was foolish not to realize what was in front of her all this time, but it’s too late. (Y/N)’s moved on, she’s happy now, and I can’t thank you enough for helping her fix herself, Ms. Eda.”
“Thanks, Sabrina; I’m glad I make her that happy.” Sabrina nodded and walked off to the kitchen, leaving Eda to her thoughts. She never knew how happy she made you and the fact that she knew now? She wanted to give you the best life possible, so she promised herself she would.
Eda’s eyes glanced to look at you as you worked beside Hilda. A smile was plastered on your face, and Eda couldn’t help but smile as well. She walked over behind you, wrapping her arms around your waist and kissing your cheek. She was whipped for you, no doubt.
Another thing you hadn’t expected, after being told that Zelda had no clue you had indeed left, was for her to turn up on your doorstep. She looked paler than usual, her hair was the slightest bit frazzled, and her makeup was much more minimal than usual.
“Thank Hecate. I’ve finally found you.” Blinking rapidly, you open your mouth to speak, “How the hell? How did you find me? Who told you where I was?” Shaking her head, she steps past you into the living room. “No one, but that fact that others knew and I didn’t hurt. Let me guess, and you told Hilda, Sabrina, and Ambrose to hide it from me that you left? Am I right?” A small nod is all you can muster up, eyes glancing up into hers. “Well then, it’s time for you to come home. I’ve realized I made many mistakes when it came to you. You’ve been by my side through everything, and I want you as mine.”
You raise your brows in shock. Is she serious?
“You’re- You’re joking, right?” You say quietly, fists clenched at your side. “No, I’m not. I realized that I’ve been horrible to you. I didn’t even consider your feelings or your mental health; I’m sorry (Y/N).”
A raspy voice calls out to you, “(Y/N), what’s going on, babe?”
Eda!
She rounds the corner and moves to you but stops as she lands her eyes on the redhead. “Who is this?” Closing your eyes tightly, you gently take Eda’s hand. “This is Zelda, Eda. Zelda, this is Eda, my girlfriend.” Zelda’s eyes widen, her hands raise slightly, but she puts them back at her sides. “So you’ve… you’ve taken a lover.” You nod, hand tightening on Eda’s. “Yes, I have.”
A growl escapes Eda’s lips, and she glares at Zelda, “What the hell are you doing here? After everything you’ve done to her, you have some nerve.” Zelda throws her hands up, stepping back slightly, “Trust me, I have no harmful intentions; I just wish to talk to (Y/N).” You place your hand on Eda's shoulder, shaking your head when she looks at you. Now wasn’t the time for Eda to lash out. Truthfully, Eda always had a temper, letting her anger sometimes get the best of her. She was never abusive in any way, instead she tended just to cry or punch a pillow. Her rage was never brought out on you.
“What do you want, Zelda? Why’d you come looking for me?” Zelda gently grabs your hand and moves with you to sit down on the couch. “As I said earlier, I’ve realized how I’ve made you feel. Forgotten, unloved, disregarded: like you don’t matter, but you do, I promise. It took me a while to realize that I’m sorry (Y/N). Please, come back with me, give me another chance, and I promise I will make it up to you. I miss you, darling” A scoff leaves your throat, anger slowly taking over your calm mood.
“You’re joking, right? You’ve got to be. Zelda, why do you think I left? I left because you pushed me to the side and treated me like I didn’t matter. You don’t get to make me feel like shit; you don’t get to parade around my house and throw a pity party for yourself. You had every chance to miss me before, miss me when I was at the wedding, miss me when I left early, but you chose to miss me when I moved to Scarsdale and finally found someone that cherished me! Someone that showed me the love and affection I deserved when you wouldn’t do any of that! You have no right to claim that you’re upset when you didn’t notice how much I craved your attention; how much I cried over you! When you married Faustus, when you fell in love with Marie, Hilda held me while I cried because I felt like you didn’t love me. Hilda held me every time I was hurting because of you- and I chose to stay because even though I was in so much emotional pain, I cared about you more than I cared about myself!” Tears come to Zelda’s eyes; her hands clench against her chest.
“So if anything, fuck you, Zelda Spellman, fuck you for thinking you get to march into my life and confess your love. Go back to Marie; maybe she’ll kiss your ass and make love to you.”
Small sobs fall from Zelda’s lips, her form starts to shake, and she wraps her arms around herself. Your eyes widen, and you glance at Eda. “Marie is gone (Y/N).” You look at the broken ginger before you, sighing, “I’m sorry, but this allows you to grow yourself.” You say, looking at her with compassion despite the storm of anger raging inside you. Zelda looks at you and nods timidly, “I...I will let myself out. I hope you have a good life here, thrive the way you deserve, darling.” Zelda says before walking towards the door, and then she leaves. Eda’s hands gently land on your shoulder and you move your hand on top of hers, “It’s over (Y/N), you don’t have to worry about her hurting you like that anymore.” A nod is all you can muster and you turn around, placing your head against Eda’s chest. Small sobs leave your throat, hands gently holding Eda close by her waist.  That was it; you had finally put your foot down, finalizing the burned bridges between you and Zelda- and as much as it hurt, you felt better than before.

marie x zelda x reader where marie and the reader really like cuddling in bed and zelda isn’t used to it so they have to almost teach her how to cuddle? ty!!
Here you go Anon. I hope you enjoy it.
You were resting in the bed, your head resting on Marie’s chest. Her arms were wrapped around your waist, one of your hands tracing meaningless shapes onto her stomach. You had your eyes closed, listening to the steady rhythm of Marie’s heart beating against her rib cage.
She was whispering a story into your hair, her voice quiet in the late night air. Her voice was soothing as you tangled your legs with hers. She ran a hand up your spine, her fingers trailing along your skin. You let out a contented sigh, snuggling closer to her.
“What in the name of Hecarte are you two doing?”
You looked over your shoulder, finding Zelda in the doorway. Her arms were crossed and she did not look pleased in the slightest.
“Cuddling,” you replied.
“Come join us, ma cherie,” Marie said.
You rolled over, holding your arm out towards her. She walked towards the edge of the bed, looking down at you with a raised eyebrow. You took her hand, trying to tug her onto the bed.
“What is the point of cuddling?” she asked.
“It’s comforting,” you said, “it’s nice.”
“It’s a pleasurable experience,” Marie said.
She relented, letting you pull her onto the bed. You wrapped an arm around her shoulders after letting go of her hand, pulling her against your body. You ran your nose along her jaw, smiling to yourself. Marie reached over your body, lacing her fingers through Zelda’s, resting their joined hands on your stomach.
Zelda settled her head against your shoulder, still not relaxing. Marie pressed a kiss to your temple, keeping her arm tight around your waist. You ran your fingers through Zelda’s hair, working through the knots that had gathered throughout the day. You gently massaged her scalp.
“Is this meant to have a purpose?” Zelda asked, slightly muffled against your shoulder.
“It is pleasurable,” Marie said, “relaxing.”
“There’s no purpose beyond enjoying it,” you replied.
Slowly her muscles began to relax as your fingers continued to run through her hair. You pressed a kiss to the top of her head, rubbing your thumb in soothing circles over her shoulder. Marie had gone back to telling her story, her voice soft. You loved listening to her voice, enjoying the way it evoked the feeling of velvet on skin.
Your eyes were falling closed, enjoying the warmth on both side of you from both women you loved. Zelda slipped her arm around your waist, pressed against Marie’s. You snuggled down in the bed, pulling both women closer.
“Do you understand now, ma cherie?” Marie asked.
“Maybe,” Zelda replied, “but more time learning couldn’t hurt.”
Both arms tightened around you. You sighed in contentment. This was the life.

I’ll Never Love Again
Zelda Spellman x fem!reader
Warning(s): angsty af
Words: 2k
A/N: This is sad as fuck. I started crying myself lmao. I hope you like it, although I can’t make links. Idk how sadly. Feel free to request anything !
Tumblr media
The sound; as if fingertips were pressing against the white keys of a piano filled the air. The sound fitting perfectly with the small raindrops falling from the sky. The sound gave of a peaceful solution. A peaceful moment. A moment that was broken into pieces.
"Y/N!"
Zelda Spellman.
You turned to look at her, her face boiling with anger. You'd left the dinner table only a moment ago. The evening started out like any other evening with your family. Sitting next to Zelda, your lover. The woman who owned your heart, the one you'd die for. Sitting across Ambrose, on your left was Hilda and on Zelda's right; Sabrina.
You couldn't explain what had happened. How you'd gotten in on the subject. It started out as a joke. Finding yourself amused at it, joking around of Zelda and Mambo Marie's relationship. How they'd gotten awfully close. You hadn't meant it, but then you saw the terror in Zelda's eyes. You knew something wasn't right. It wasn't because she didn't like the joke, of course she didn't, but she was hiding something from you. Something you just clarified. You couldn't believe it, so you left.
Zelda walked up to you. Stopping a few feet away, thinking over what to say. She had plenty to say, she just didn't know where to start. However, you came first.
"Wish I could, could have said goodbye. I would've said what I wanted to, maybe even cried a few."
Zelda's eyebrows knitted themselves in confusion as she watched you speak. Looking up at the sky again.
"If I knew that it would have been the last time. I would have broke my heart in two. Trying to stay without you."
Sighing softly. Eyes stinging. Body shaking, cold and wet. Anxious. You looked over at her. Wanting to drop to your knees, beg for her. Beg for her to never leave you, but you couldn't and wouldn't.
"I don't wanna feel another touch. Don't wanna start another fire. I don't wanna know another kiss. No other name falling off my lips."
Turning to face Zelda completely. Looking deeply into her crystal eyes. Her whole body was stiff, she didn't know how to respond to any of this.
"I don't wanna give my heart away, to another stranger. I couldn't let another day begin, or even let the sunlight in if I did. I'll never love again, Zelda."
Upon hearing those words, she shut down. The rain started to pour heavier, much harder.
"When we first meet all those years back. I never thought that I would fall for you. I never thought that I find myself, lying in your arms."
Zelda never meant to fall for you either, she despised you. Couldn't stand you. Everything you did annoyed her, yet; you became the love of her life.
"And I wanna pretend that it's not true, that you're gone, that we're gone. My world keeps turning, turning and turning and I'm not moving on."
Turning around, looking over the Spellman property, your home. The home you'd had for years, decades. Was it really home after all? Was it really where you would spend your days in the sun and storm?
"I don't wanna feel another touch, like you've done. I don't wanna start another fire, like you've done. I don't want another name falling off my lips, like you've called for Marie."
You didn't look at Zelda, but she heard the crack in your voice. The way your tone would break each time you mentioned what she'd done. There wasn't any use in trying to explain she hadn't. She hadn't meant to, but you wouldn't believe it. She wouldn't have if it was the other way around. Stubborn as she is, she doesn't know how to handle love.
You turned around as you started talking again. Nearly bursting into tears, keeping your tone harsh but near a breaking point.
"Look, I don't wanna know this feeling unless it's you and me. I don't wanna waste a moment of my life. I don't wanna give somebody else the better part of me. I'd rather wait for you all my life."
Zelda heard that strange thunder. That strange thunder passing by. She knew that no one was gonna come save her, if you wouldn't. No one would. She'd taken your love for granted. She'd taken everything for granted and gained in power. Marrying Faustus should have been her stop sign, but she keep going. Going higher and higher up in levels. Forgetting you on the way. Her lover, her person, her future. The one she'd given her heart to. Beneath the strange thunder. She was all that was causing the storm.
"I don't wanna feel another touch, or start another fire. I don't wanna know another kiss. Zelds, unless it's on your lips."
She felt eyes, eyes in the back of her head. She wanted to run, hide and cry. Her body was betraying her, she couldn't move a single finger. Her body was stuck, she wondered if Hilda had cast a spell for her to stay still, knowing her sister. She probably had, or it was just her.
"Say something. Anything."
She couldn't. What was she supposed to say? No one would hear her please, her apologies. No one would take her.
"I should have known, all of this."
Zelda cleared her throat. Finding it very dry.
"Known what."
It came out harsher then she'd intended.
"I won't ask it of you. I can't do that to you. You've taken my heart and thrown it away."
"I most certainly have not. I have it right next to mine."
"Then why take another in store? Why not just keep mine? If we were doing badly, why didn't you say anything. If you wanted me to leave, I would have done it without question if that's what you wanted."
Zelda felt herself boil, but for a different reason then anger. She was hurt, although she had no right to be hurt. But she was hurt, she was hurt by herself. She hurt you and everyone else she ever cared about. There's a reason she didn't date, she didn't have time. She never had. There's wasn't time for you, although there was at the same time. She always had time for you. She doesn't know where it went wrong.
"I don't want you to leave! Can't you understand that?!"
"You have a funny way of showing it. If you have this fire with Marie, then give it fuel."
Zelda moved forward. Grabbing your hand. Squeezing. Fighting back her own forbidden tears. She couldn't cry, she wasn't allowed to. Looking into your eyes. Losing herself, she always did. It was her space and freedom.
Your hand came up to her cheek, stroking it softly. Zelda's eyes fluttered closed for a moment. Feeling your touch gone as soon as it appeared. Stopping herself from seeking out your touch.
“I don’t wanna feel another touch, or start another fire.”
It pained her. Hearing your voice break. She knew this wouldn’t end well. It wouldn’t turn back to happy family. She couldn’t lose you, but she already did that moment. Cupping your cheeks in her hands, leaning her forehead against yours. She wanted to beg for your apology.
Zelda Phiona Spellman would never beg for anyone. She wouldn’t bow down for just anyone. But for you? She would, but she couldn’t ask for forgiveness. She knew If she did, you would forgive her but it wouldn’t return to the way it was before. Feeling her own cheeks become hot with tears, hearing your quiet sobs. She’d broken her own heart.
“I’ll never love again.”
-
“Zelda? Look who’s here to see you.”
Hilda said as softly as she could. Moving away from the bed, wrapping her arm around Sabrina. Letting you come through.
“Zelda? I’m right here, right beside you.”
Zelda opened her eyes slowly, it was hard. There you were. The love of her life. She never thought she would see your smile again. Your eyes, your everything. You grabbed her hand, giving it a soft squeeze and a kiss.
“You can go to sleep now, Zelds. I’ll be watching over you.”
Zelda trusted your words and did. Her heart ached for all those years she’d missed with you. You were here now, that was all that mattered. She would see you on the other side.
“I’ll never love again.”

✿ ✼ ✿ ✼ ✿ ✼ ✿ ✼ ✿ ✼ ✿ ✼ ✿ ✼
You have been friends with Zelda for as long as you can remember, you loved her a lot but you never knew how to communicate it and when Hilda called you the other day and told you what happened to Sabrina, you hurried to their mortuary as quick as possible. The journey from Europe to Greendale took you only two days, but it felt like years. You wanted to comfort Zelda as soon as possible. You knew how much she loved Sabrina and how devastated and empty she must feel.
When you reached the Spellman property your heartfelt heavy as if it would slip into your pocket any second. You took a deep breath before you knocked on the front door. Hearing the birds chirp and seeing how bright the sun shone felt cynical despite the fact in how much pain the household of the Spellman’s must be. Seconds later the front door opened and Hilda, the usually quirky and happy Brit, stood in the door frame. „Hilda...,” your breath hitched when you looked in her eyes. They were filled with sadness and hopelessness, you never saw her in that state and with that, you couldn’t imagine in which state Zelda must be. You wrapped your arms around the smaller blonde woman and tried to soothe her with your words, but it only made her tear up. She pulled you into the house and before you could react she took you jacket and put it on the hook.
„How are you Hilda?” you ask keeping your voice down. You could imagine her response, you could understand. „I- I mean it’s been two weeks since-“ her soft voice stopped while she tried to suppress tears slipping out of her eyes. „I get it, she was your niece and you have every right to grieve. Sabrina was such a smart and good-hearted girl, I miss her too,” you whispered and took her hand in yours. The blonde nodded and you followed her in the kitchen. It was neatly cleaned, it looked as nothing happened, while the family’s life was so cruelly destroyed everything seemed to go its normal way. „Zelda is upstairs in her room, she barely leaves it,” Hilda explained while filling the kettle with water.
„I’ll go upstairs and see how she’s doing,” you declared and turned towards the door. „Be careful, she hardly wants anyone in her room except Mambo and me sometimes,” she proclaimed. You wondered who Mambo was but you didn’t want to ask, fearing it was the wrong moment. You noted in the information before heading up to the red-headed witch’s room. You took a deep breath before knocking on her bedroom door, you wanted to be sensitive but you were afraid of failing.
There was no answer for your knock so you decided to just go inside, trying to survive. You knew exactly how furious Zelda can get, but you hoped when she sees you she’ll relax. Stepping through the wooden door frame you came to see a curled up Zelda hiding underneath a blanket. „Zelds...” your voice was soft scared she’d twitch away. Just a slight whimper let you know she was awake. Slowly and very carefully you walked over to her bed, sat next to her and placed your hand on her back. Only the unsteady breathing of hers could be heard. You’ve never seen her like this since the death of her parents, Zelda had built back her walls, earned back her tough facade.
Her face was covered with her red locks they were spread on the pillow. „Y/n, what are you doing here?” the witch slightly raised her head and eyes you. „I came to see how you were doing.” Your hands comfortingly travelled up and down her back, trying to soothe her. The older women hugged your waist burying her face in your lap. „I am so sorry Zelda, I know how hard it is for you, you loved her so much,” your fingers untangled her hair. There was no word spoken, neither did she move, the woman fell asleep on your lap. Her soft snores confirming that she had a peaceful rest. Not even the loud thuds that came from downstairs could wake her. You didn’t need Zelda to talk, she will if she’s ready.

You carefully placed Zelda’s head on her pillow again before you headed towards the kitchen, where Hilda and her nephew Ambrose sat. „She’s asleep,” you sighed and plopped yourself on one of the chairs. „How did you do tha-“
„I don’t know Hilda, she fell asleep on me,” you cut her off before placing a hand above hers. „She’s restless and she’s grieving. But it won’t work if there’s nobody to talk to, I will try to be there for her,” you reassured her.
You knew exactly how hard it could be to grieve over the loss of someone you love. Two centuries ago your dad died, it took you decades to get over it but it felt like a thousand years. He was that happy-go-lucky guy that everyone just loved, his appearance made clear that he was a softie. Your dad always sat in front of his house, reading the comic section in the newspaper, cackling over the sketched scenes.
Quickly, you shook off the unwanted memory staring in the empty mug in front of you, only seeing little rest of the tea in it. Only a slight crescent of the sun was visible on the clouded sky. A loud thud on the door made you jump. „That Must be Mambo,” the blonde witch remarked and scurried into the hallway. „Who is Mambo?” your question was addressed to Ambrose. „Aunt Zee wouldn’t tell us, but they’re kind of a thing,” the boy replied and scratched his back with his magic wand. An unpleasant sting in your chest made you flinch for a second but you managed to gather your emotions again. „Are you currently at least okay?” you asked him when you saw his pained expression on his face.
„Well, it’s alright I guess. Deep down I’m still hoping that this here is all long and cruel nightmare from which I might wake up any second,” The warlock explained. You nodded knowingly of how hard it must be to grieve over your Cousin, the one with whom you’ve spent years of your life living together. Though the girl caused trouble, he had to solve it and in the end, both of them were able to peacefully sleep in their beds again.
When the beautiful woman who was known as ,Mambo Marie’ entered the kitchen you couldn’t avert your gaze. It was like a star just lit the room. No wonder why Zelda loves her so much. „Hi, I’m Y/n” you reached out your hand.
The woman with the perfect brown skin gladly took it before she introduced herself. „My name is Mambo Marie.” Marie’s voice was like a rain shower on a summer day. The presence of the witch released the tensed atmosphere and for a moment it felt as everything has got back to normal.

Sounds of frogs were audible when you laid in your bed at the mortuary. All of your thoughts belonged to Zelda and you knew why you two only had contact over the phone. You loved her too much, you got jealous whenever she told you about a new significant other and when you saw that stunning witch earlier it only endorsed your distance.
Slowly but surely your eyelids got heavier and you fell into a sound sleep.

zelda x reader x mambo marie please? they all have feelings for each other and don’t want to admit it and end up avoiding each other. when they are around one another there’s a lot of tension. Hilda takes it upon herself to invite R over for a family dinner which will actually just be R, zelda, and marie. maybe some smut if you feel like it? i absolutely love all of your zelda fics especially masquerade! 🥺😍
Aww, thank you so much. I really hope you like this one.
You knocked on the front door, pushing your fingers through your hair. You had no idea why Hilda was so insistent on inviting you to dinner. All you had to do was get through a few hours without jumping Zelda and you’d be fine. You couldn’t do anything to make an idiot of yourself in front of her. You could only thank the gods that Marie would not also be there.
The door was pulled open by one Zelda Spellman, a surprised look on her face. Your heart stopped and your cheeks flushed. You bit down on your lower lip, watching as her eyes darkened.
“Hilda invited me for dinner,” you said.
“Then you and I have something in common.”
You turned around, finding Marie at your shoulder. You let out a surprised squeak. Being so close to her made you feel hot and bothered, and you found it hard to concentrate on anything the two women were saying. You kept looking from one beautiful face to the other.
“I suppose you should both come inside.”
Marie placed her hand on the small of your back, leading you into the house. Zelda closed the door behind the two of you, leading you into the kitchen. You didn’t want to say you were looking for an out, but the thought of spending an excruciating night with the two women of your dreams was making you want to turn tail and run.
The kitchen was empty, the table bare. There was no sign Hilda had ever been in there, nor had any plans of returning. You sunk down onto one of the chairs, biting down on your lower lip.
“Are you alright, ma cherie?”
You looked into the concerned eyes of Marie. Your heart missed a beat as your eyes met hers. She grasped your chin, keeping you from looking away. Her other hand landed on your shoulder, her thumb running along your your collar bone. You shifted in your seat.
“I’m fine,” you replied, trying to pull out of her grip.
“Don’t embarrass the poor girl,” Zelda said, perching on a chair, “if she wants to do something, she shall.”
“I’m not so sure,” Marie said.
Her thumb was still stroking along your skin but she released your chin. You were growing hot, wondering if you’d be able to excuse yourself without being rude.
Marie lent closer, into your personal space, her breath fanning over your face. You froze, not sure what you should do. She gently cupped your cheek.
“What do you want to do, ma cherie?”
You squeaked. She chuckled, drawing back from you.
“You’re going to have to make the decision yourself,” she said.
You surged forward, pressing your lips to hers. Her hand pressed to the small of your back, pulling you against hers. You curled your hand around the back of her neck. A gruff cough interrupted the two of you.
“If the two of you are quite finished,” Zelda said.
“Don’t be jealous, ma cherie,” Marie said, looking over your shoulder at her, “there is room for you.”
“Don’t be absurd.”
You turned around, reaching a hand out towards Zelda. You pulled her up from the table, tugging her a step towards you. You threaded your fingers through her hair.
“Are you saying you haven’t thought about this?” you asked.
“Of course I have,” she replied.
“Then stop complaining.”
She crashed your lips against hers, kissing her sloppily. She drew back, her lipstick smudged, only to kiss Marie over your shoulder. You attached your lips to the side of her neck, sucking on her pulse point. Fingers dug into the flesh of your hip and you couldn’t tell who they belonged to.
You were pushed back against the table, the edge digging into your ass. You hauled yourself to sit on it as a hand crept up your shirt. Your head fell back as one of them began to palm your breast, teeth scraping along your exposed collar bone. You tightened your hand in Zelda’s hair, earning a hiss.
You were pulled into a soft kiss, slow and sensual as the teeth sunk into the skin of your neck hard enough to leave a mark to be found later. Maries fingers were much softer as they kneaded at the flesh of your breast, her thumb swiping over your nipple until it was a hardened peak. You whined into the hot mouth on yours.
You pulled Zelda’s head back, breaking away from Marie to kiss her. You arched your back into Marie’s touch as you slid your hand down Zelda’s body to grasp her ass. You pulled her forward, pressing your leg between her’s. She moaned, her fingernails scraping along your cheek as she held your face in place.
She drew back and you watched through hooded eyes as Marie and Zelda locked lips. You pressed your leg up against Zelda’s heat, enjoying the way she groaned into Marie’s mouth. Marie pinched at your nipple earning a high whine from you.
Zelda ground against your thigh as she reached out to Marie to press her against her body. You attached your lips to the long column of of Marie’s neck, wrapping your arm around her waist.
“You owe me 20 bucks.”
“Can you guys not do that on the kitchen table?”
Zelda pulled away from Marie, turning to look over her shoulder. The three other Spellmans were standing in the doorway. You flushed, buried your face in Marie’s shoulder. Zelda growled, moving off your leg, leaving you feeling cold.
“If you’re quite finished,” Zelda said.
You giggled. You could feel her shooting a glare at you. You giggled again, feeling Marie begin to laugh too.
“Come on.”
A hand grasped your wrist, tugging you off the table. You grabbed Marie, being dragged from the kitchen.
“Is that a no to dinner?” Hilda called after you.
You giggled again.

Pigeon (Zelda/Reader/Mambo Marie)
I got a request over on Ao3 so I figured I’d share it here. Let me know if you keep wanting stuff like this.
“Why is there a pigeon flying around the kitchen?”
Marie looked up from her book but Zelda stayed behind her newspaper. You stood in the doorway, arms crossed over your chest, waiting for an answer. The silence stretched on without either saying anything.
“If I wanted to talk to myself, I would. Do either of you know why there is a live pigeon in the kitchen and can I get rid of it?”
“Ma cherie, if we knew why we would give you an answer,” Marie answered, rising from the armchair.
“Perhaps it is an experiment of my misguided sister’s,” Zelda said, still not appearing from around the paper.
You huffed and walked out, back into the kitchen. The pigeon was cooing from up on the ceiling. You craned your neck to watch it ruffle its feathers. It looked unhappy being trapped in the house as opposed to free in the world. It hadn’t been there that morning.
It had been one thing after another all day and finding your girlfriends so unhelpful when you came to them was the final straw. You pushed out of the room, hurrying outside. The pigeon could be someone else’s problem. You’d had enough.
“Where are you going?”
Marie was standing in the doorway, watching you. You stomped down the stairs, looking away from her.
“For a walk. Don’t follow me.”
You stormed off into the forest, knowing you needed time to calm down. It wasn’t their fault the day have been filled with problems but you couldn’t help but be frustrated. All you wanted was a little support.
You sunk down onto a tress stump. You buried your head in your hands, taking some deep breaths. After all the problems with the pagans, and the trouble Sabrina had been causing, all you needed was time to relax. You didn’t need to be the coven’s only problem solver.
“If you wish to keep acting like a child we can start treating you like one.”
You sighed, looking up to find an unimpressed Zelda standing in front of you. A warm body sat beside yours, close on the small tree stump. You looked over, finding Marie smiling at you.
“All I wanted was an answer,” you said, “or some help.”
“If I required back chat I would go talk to Sabrina and her friends,” Zelda snapped.
“And if I wanted to get no answer I’d go talk to a brick wall.”
“Stop,” Marie said, glaring between you and Zelda, “we do not have to fight.”
You felt appropriately chastised, looking down at your wringing hands. You weren’t looking for a fight. You were looking for some support.
“I’m sorry,” you said, “I’m just frustrated.”
“And we are sorry for not answering your question, ma cherie,” Marie said.
You rested your head on her shoulder, letting her put her arm around you and pull you close. A warm hand cupped your cheek and you watched as Zelda threaded her fingers through Marie’s. You looked up at her.
“What can we do to help?” she asked.
“Get rid of the pigeon,” you said.
Zelda lent down, pressing her lips to yours. Marie pressed a kiss to the top of your head, giving you an extra squeeze. They pulled you up from the tree stump, Marie keeping her arm around your waist while Zelda held your hand.
“Let’s get rid of that pigeon.”
