The worst thing about M1K isn't boring lore changes or the multiple timeline stuff. Its not characters being so different they're almost unrecognizable. It's not nonsensical power scaling. Its not invasions mode. Not Tanya's redesign or the "wokeness" or whatever those losers complain about

Tbh MK1 Mileena being so different from her previous iterations makes me a bit sad bc she's just a completely different character now. And those aspects about Mileena I liked are never going to be properly explored now that MK from now on is probably going to focus on Liu Kang's timeline

M1K Mileena isn't even really a BAD character. She's one of, if not, THE BEST in M1K so far. And I like her story. She's just nothing like Mileena outside of looks and having sharp teeth (and they're not even inherent to her. It's from a disease. And there's not even any injuries from the transformation or anything)

BUT I do think it opens up some good headcanons and story ideas

Imagine if Kitana had a twin sister in previous timelines who died as a baby and Mileena was named after her (Mileena still Kitana's clone. Just named after someone else). And the Mileena in Liu Kang's timeline is that sister. Her death was prevented

Imagine Titan Kitana meeting New Timeline Mileena and learning that she had a sister before Mileena's creation. New Timeline Kitana finding out of her sister's fate in other timelines. New Timeline Kitana finding out she gets cloned in other timelines, and said clone was given the name of her sister

How will New Timeline Kitana react? Will she have compassion for the clones despite their conception? Will she hate them like her other counterparts have?

M1K Kitana has literally nothing going on for her outside of being gorgeous. Which doesnt mean much if she's so uninteresting compared to who she used to be. A plotline exploring this could at least give her something, since a lot of her story beats were given to Mileena

I also think M1K Mileena and previous Mileenas just straight up being different characters who happen to share the same name and color scheme can excuse the fact that Mileena is practically unrecognizable now outside of appearance

I am sooooo normal about this exchange. THE Greysam moment ever. But also it really fucks me up knowing what happened to Grey and (likely) happened to Notso in MW3 Zombies

Like Notso was all Grey had left of Sam. Notso was the only part of herself Sam could have given to Grey to remember her. And Notso is taken away from Grey immediately. And given the hellhounds are now Rottweilers...

Slay The Princess Pristine Cut Update

Just a post on what I'd like to see in the Pristine Cut update, as well as some other stuff like what I know will be present (probably just gonna be common knowledge for anyone who knows about the update)

What I know (so far)

I know Damsel is gonna get a route where you and the Princess just stay in the cabin and try to live a fantasy life

Fury and Apotheosis are going to be developed more

Several new routes (either more 3rd chapters or new 2nd chapters. Or both)

Speculation (things I think are likely judging by the promo image)

Den route will get more development. Either specifically Den Route w/ Stubborn or both versions of this route will be getting development

Prisoner may have a new 3rd chapter or more endings

Damsel may have a new 3rd chapter or more endings

Spectre may have a new 3rd chapter or more endings

What I'd like to see

I definitely want to see a route where you leave The Damsel. Smitten takes your life in response, knowing he can't make you go back. What she comes back as, idk, but I'd like to see what they do with it. Idc if it leads to a new 3rd chapter or Burning Grey I just want to see it. Damsel is so okay with everything you do, but the Princess is at her worst when she's abandoned and ignored. I want to see how being abandoned affects The Damsel. If it does anything at all

ZOMBIE PRINCESS!!! I like all the ghost versions of her but I definitely think she needs a zombie version, and I'm a little surprised she doesn't have one

Actually being able to slay The Apotheosis or The Fury

Freeing Adversary Princess. By tricking her or actually convincing her to do it. No idea if they plan on doing something with Adversary, and I'd be fine if they don't, but I'm curious to see what she does

Callback to the previous Stranger designs (first one was genuinely creepy and the 2nd one was funny)

I'm more interested in new 3rd chapters, though I wouldn't mind seeing more 2nd chapters as well

Wanted to give a shoutout to both of these answers I think they're really good

A god: A singular being who encompassed everything that they both are. The Narrator used that God to create The Long Quiet and Shifting Mound for his plan to stop death, causing the God to split into two beings

A concept/cycle: They weren't "one" as in a physical being, but rather the cycle of life and death itself, and everything that was a part of that cycle

I have no idea if there was an answer for this in canon so I'm curious to see what other ppl think
