I'm reading Magneto (2023) and at one point Rahne calls him Erik, but at the time in continuity it's taking place during, he went pretty much exclusively by Magnus as far as I remember. Am I forgetting something or did the name Erik come into play earlier than I realized?

I read all of New Mutants vol 1 thinking Warlock's father's name was Magnus and wondering why no one commented on him and Magneto having the same name

#it felt like a very big thing to never comment on #idk I saw Magus as Magnus the first time I read it and then proceeded to assume it was that #until i listened to an episode of jay and miles where they talked about the nm #also by 'read all of new mutants vol 1' i mean 'read through 3 issues after Inferno' #things
