Here it is: régulo is the diminutive of rei (king in Portuguese), which is a Latin derived language. So the meaning of régulo, or regulus in English, is little king, prince of even petty king. Petty means insignificant or trivial.

So yeah, all of this to say that Reggie was the prince because originally Sirius was the king, the heir of the noble house of Black. But in the end, when Sirius leaves and Reggie becomes the official heir, he can only be a little king, and in his death a petty king, cause all he ever done was insignificant in the end, nobody, not even Sirius, knew what he was killed fighting for.

RIP Reggie Black, our little king.

Have been missing posting here, so here’s a few updates, if anyone cares:

I’ve been into a Wolfstar brain rot for a few months now, I’m almost finished with all the young dudes, but I haven’t quite had the courage to finish it cause I know everybody is gonna die next.

Also, I’ve been feeling a bit depressed in the past few months, haven’t told anybody but I’m just not feeling my best.

And lastly, I’ve been writing a few stuff but mostly poetry and for myself only, so no fics or anything like that, sorry folks. I might get back into that but right now I’ve been really really busy and also I’m teaching English, which the most exciting part of my life and it makes me really happy.

So yeah, I might write again but probs not right now. Finally, if you wanna leave a message or anything, feel free to do so. I still love you guys. AND, if you have any Wolfstar one shots or short stories, or even recommendations of authors, let me know.

Eddie who crashes at Steve's after movie night, despite knowing it's a bad idea considering his increasingly out-of-control and hopeless crush. He's supposed to be working on boundaries and expectations, not falling asleep on the couch with his head on the man's shoulder, and waking up being fucking carried upstairs to bed.

The next morning, he plans on making a sneaky exit, but then he hears a stereo playing from somewhere downstairs. He makes his way to the kitchen to find Steve dancing and belting along with I Wanna Dance with Somebody, passionately singing into a spatula.

And so much for Eddie keeping his crush under control, because this? It's the cutest goddamn thing he's seen in his life and he's head over heels.

He can't help walking up to Steve, taking him in his arms, and judging by the way Steve's face lights up, his crush might not be so unrequited after all.

Steddie fic idea:

Someone recorded one or a few of Corroded Coffin's songs and put it on cassette tape. (It could be live show, but the sound would have to be really clear)

In a shuffle, the tape gets played at a party Steve goes to...and he is enamored. He ends up paying the guy who played it $5 for the tape, and the song becomes his favorite.

All Steve has of the song is the one mixed tape. Nobody he talks to knows where the song came from. The record store was no help. (He is, of course, asking all the wrong people)

Steve is also very afraid that he will overplay the tape and break it.

Out of all the Tears for Fears, Abba, Bruce Springsteen, etc out there, *this* is the song that could save him from Vecna...but he doesn't even know what it is really called or who made it.

How funny is it that Eddie Munson wrote that song about some hot jock that he had a crush on...
