I know that Daria has confirmed that the ‘Of Vaults’ part in Duke’s name is simply that it just sounds like Voltaire, but a Vault in architecture is this arc thingy and it was also commonly used in Gothic architecture!!!!!! I

Daria said that Duke has been bitten by another vampire, so it explain why his long neck is always covered. I listened a Voltaire song called Never that talks about a demon that stole the innocent from a child, so what about younger Duke seduced by a vampire man that bit him? It would also explain his bisexual orientation!

The Vampire Queen

Here’s my first OC for The Vampair Series by Daria Cohen. Meet Bathilda, Queen of Darkness, possessor of the Goblet of Blood, which I decided was a symbol of power superior to the Bat Cane in the Vampiredom. Oh, and also she’s at least four centuries old and she’s Duke’s mother, which makes him the Vampire Prince. Of course she hates Missi.

How do you think Duke and Missi's relationship will come to be? (Also why do you ship them?)

hmmmm…. I really don’t know, I’m not Daria. I would assume it will be some kind of love-hate thing. You know, with a lot of disagrrement and banter and who knows what, but deep down they enjoy each others company and even care for each other (maybe).

Idk, I’ve just always loved those complicated, love-hate, belligent sexual tension, problematic kind of ships.I just think they’re very interesting ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I saw anon's theory about the masquerade song being used, and I think it's a possibility because it all adds up. Daria's new speedpaint features Missi in a dress and it may foreshadow in what's about to happen, and Duke might make a fake invite to a masquerade to lure Missi outside of the house (and she's wearing her really cute formal dress) and then he might try to fight her in the forest or it might just lead her to the 'Showdown'.

tbh I honestly think the next song (not counting 3.5) is gonna be either The Masquerade or The Vampire Club, mostly because of the poster. Though, Daria /did/ surprise us with “Fuck You” so. maybe I’ll be wrong?

THEORY TiME!! Ive listened to all of Voltaires music, and if nearly every episode of Vampair is Duke singing Volts songs, eventually we'll get to the ones that detail his tragic, loveless life (Imagine Duke singing "Bomb New Jersey" lol)- Daria said in a stream the effects of the cane are psychological. Duke and Missis bottled up hate for humanity may be something that helps them understand each other.
