Sylki Fanfiction Prompt From A Dream I Had :)

So I woke up this morning and I had a really weird dream. It was about Loki and Sylvie.

It was just really really odd and non-sensical, like most dreams, but I made out a basic plot.

So basically, Sylvie sets off to fix her mistakes, but she doesn't take Loki. She leaves him a letter (God knows how, they're possibly in entirely different dimensions), telling him that she had to fix her mistakes, and that she loves him, but she knows she can't take him with her.

Loki, being the cute and extremely determined guy he is, goes on an interdimensional quest to find her, and they reunite, but Sylvie keeps trying to tell him to go away, but she soon realises that she needs him and he needs her.

They kiss and....

I woke up.

Maybe I should write a fanfiction about this? The problem is, I suck at writing fanfiction, so this prompt is open for anyone to use, but please tag me in them, I really wanna read them 🥺

I wish I knew some fanfiction writers on here, but I don't, so if you guys could tag some who might be interested, please do, I'm aching for this story to continue and I don't think I can dream it again tonight.

Anyway, sorry I haven't posted in a while, I was a bit busy packing and stuff.

So I had another breakthrough!

The show isn't called Loki because it's about Loki. Well it is, but in a different way then what you think. It's not about a singular Loki, it's about the infinite versions of Loki, a lot of whom we see in the show. This is why the opening sequence has the word 'Loki' constantly changing shape. It's representing all of the different Lokis in the multiverse.

When you think about it, it also makes sense now that Sylvie has a huge role in the series, not just as the love interest. She's the one who opened up the sacred timeline, and she's the one who killed Kang. And she's a huge part of the series because she is a Loki.

Boom! Mic drop.

Firstly, don't dumb Sylvie down to simply "another version of Loki", because she has mentioned time and time again that she is NOT a Loki. But of course, you refuse to listen to her.

Loki talks to Sylvie delicately and tries to reason with her and make her understand why her behaviour is irrational and encourages her to at least consider the potential consequences of her actions before committing to them because that is exactly what he did in the past and he has learnt from it and now knows how not to repeat the same mistakes and is trying to teach Sylvie the same lesson because he learnt killing doesn’t erase his problems it only makes them worse.

Antis: KILL her, Loki! KILL her! Why didn’t they make her like 2012 Loki and make him kill her to represent his growth? That would’ve been so symbolic and not at all cliché.

Songs That Are About Sylki And You Can't Prove Me Otherwise

1. Heat Waves by Glass Animals

You can't tell me that this song is not literally Loki's feelings towards Sylvie. "Sometimes all I think about is you"? " Can't make you happier now"? I love how this song is just so fitting to so many things, and it's really just nailed the sad theme with happy beat and I just really love this song even aside from Sylki.

2. gold rush by Taylor Swift

Bear with me here, because there are going to be a LOT of Taylor Swift songs in this list. What can I say? I'm a Swiftie. Anyway, gold rush is just a really Sylki song. Exhibit A: "Eyes like sinking ships on waters, so inviting, I almost jump in". To me, this line could be representative of the Lamentis-1 scene when Sylvie and Loki are staring into each other's eyes. It's especially fitting because the line is bittersweet since it incorporates something that is usually tragic, the sinking ships on waters, and compares it to being in love and staring into the eyes of your lover. And obviously, Sylki itself is a tragic ship (no pun intended) and this particular scene is sad, because they're staring into each other's eyes as they are presumably about to die.

3. Ring Pop by JAX

I don't know about this one, I think I just find it kind of Sylki because of the fanfics I've been reading about Loki and Sylvie getting an apartment together. Basically, this song is about being broke and in love and it just kind of reminds me of Sylvie and Loki.

4. willow by Taylor Swift

This song is literally the definition of Sylki. Let's take a walk. Firstly "rough on the surface but you cut through like a knife". This could totally be Loki bringing our Sylvie's softer side. "Life was a willow and it bent right to your wind" is a metaphor meaning that 'I met someone I loved so much it changed my life' and this is applicable to both Loki and Sylvie. And "Take my hand, wreck my plans, that's my man" is pretty self explanatory. Loki wrecked Sylvie's plans, but they ended up in love.

5. In Your Eyes by The Weeknd

This song is about someone who hides their sadness behind a smile, which is both Loki and Sylvie. They're both emotionally and mentally traumatised, which turned them to a coping mechanism in which they prefer to hide it all away and say they're fine in the hopes that it will all go away soon.

6. Wildest Dreams by Taylor Swift

Basically this song is about two lovers promising to find each other even after separation, which is definitely going to be the plot, or is going to be incorporated into the plot, for the second season.

Another moment when Loki left himself vulnerable with Sylvie! She could have very easily pushed the dagger into his chest to kill him, he would have made it disappear though, of course, but the point is that in that moment, he felt safe enough with Sylvie to put himself in harm's way.

But when people say mean things like this, it's not okay.

It is currently 10pm, and because caffeine addicted me decided to go all caffeine addiction on me, I expect to fall asleep by 2. Pm.

Anyway, I just had a breakthrough and I had to share it!

There's been a lot of theorising when it comes to what makes a Loki a Loki, and I'm one of the people who think it's the soul.

But also, I think that each Loki had a plot to cover, and there is one big event that defines a Loki.

The betrayal.

Think about it, every Loki has betrayed someone they love and who loved them.

Our Loki to his family.

Classic Loki to Thor and the universe.

Kid Loki to Thor.

And of course, Sylvie to Loki.
