Moving day: update

Hello my darlings,

This to let you know that thanks to the help and support of many wonderful people, we are now fully set up to resume our normal programming over on our new Library blog. Submissions and Anon Asks have now been turned off for this blog. We’re still keeping the ask box open for a little while longer as a way to let people know where they can now find us. Moving Day

Hallo, wonderful readers!

First of all, thank you for the many heartwarming messages of support and offers of help. We can’t even begin to tell you how much we appreciate all of them.

We’ve gotten a few questions, which I will try to answer here. If you have more questions, feel free to message off anon so you can get a private reply if needed.

So is this blog shutting down?

It’s not! This blog is not going anywhere and is still a treasure trove of stuff. In the future we’ll be refering to it as the Archive. We’ve linked back to the Archive’s tag page and Masterlist page for easy referencing, though we are endeavouring to bring over as much as we can via reblogs. Eventually, once we’re sure people know how to find us, we will turn off submissions and the ask box on the Archive blog.

What will happen to the unanswered asks that have been sent to this blog?

Since the Archive inbox remains accessible, those will get answered on the new Library once we’re done moving. We may lose some metadata in the message copying, so keep an eye out for things you may have sent in.

Is there anything followers can do to help recover content?

There is, actually! If you search your own blogs for any content you may have reblogged from us, you can click back to see if the original still exists. You can then send in a link to the post on your blog so we can reblog it to the new Library. This would be especially useful if you may have ever reblogged anything containing a rec or reference for a fic dealing with HTP and/or rape/noncon, since those seem to be the things that were targeted specifically. 

Is there anything else they could do?

If you have a buck to spare and want to make a stand against censorship, I’m sure the OTW would be delighted with a donation. 

Will the new blog be set up in the same way?

It will be! The look and feel remains the same, and our way of working will not change. Feel free to start sending in asks to the new Library instead of here, but do keep in mind we’ll be busy moving content for a while until we can start putting out new replies.

The HTP discord has been watching this develop this afternoon and we will be glad to help you reconstruct / rebuild what you need to complete the move. We have a few techie people looking at what you might need to set up a script to automate pulling old material to the new blog. For obv reason asking anon here - but if you're up for the help say yes and we'll get in touch asap!

Hello, wonderful readers. It’s Mod Blue and Mod Julia.

It’s come to our attention that a Mod who has not been active since the both of us came on board  in 2017 has been boasting on Twitter about deleting posts featuring content they consider unwanted.  

We were completely unaware than this was going on, and we are horrified beyond words. You’ll recall we made a stance against censorship part of our mission statement, and we stand by that unequivocally. What this person has been doing is inexcusable. Because of this we are taking drastic measures to make sure that this cannot happen again.

Because of the way Tumblr is set up, we cannot remove a Mod from the Library. They can only remove themselves. This means that, to make sure they no longer have access to content going forward, we have to move the Library.

Going forward, our new address will be https://stuckylibrary.tumblr.com/. Mod Blue and Mod Julia, as the only remaining active mods, will be moving with the Library. Everyone else is staying behind. We can’t do anything to absolutely keep the content of the old Library blog safe, but at least we’ll be able to safeguard the new one.

We’ll be reblogging content for the next few days and weeks, so sorry if we flood your dashes for a while. Maybe you’ll rediscover some old favourites or fall in love with something new.

Would you please help me find a fic, I believe it was recommended here but I can't remember the name. It's post tws, Bucky goes to live with Steve to a big house far away from the city and he basically has to make sure that Bucky is alright and he can be in society without being a danger. Two government people if I remember right go visit them every month, bucky also sees a therapist every Wednesday I think, thanks

I’d like to rec “The Life of Bucky Barnes,” an art-based fic by petite-madam told via Tumblr and Instagram.

It’s got the most breathtaking, hyperrealistic Captain America / Marvel art to fulfill all of your Stucky hopes and dreams. (Well, your most PG-13 Stucky dreams, at least. Most of the art is SFW.)

There are hundreds of absolutely beautiful pictures chronicling Bucky’s continued recovery (as if written by Bucky for his social media pages) with Steve and the Avengers, set in New York after a slightly AU “Captain America: Civil War.”

Goldheartedsky wrote this oasis of magic and love for me, little old me, and it’s the most beautiful, most glowing description of Steve and Bucky taking a break for themselves during the war. Made my heart feel like warm caramel.

“Where are we going?” he whispers, avoiding stepping on any sticks in the path. Bucky doesn’t answer him, only grins shyly and keeps steering them through the trees.

His breath catches when they finally stop.

The sun has begun to come up over the hills and Bucky drops Steve’s hand to motion at the slow moving river and grassy bank. “What d’you think?” he asks shyly.
