Hi :)

I made the mistake of opening the MLQC ( I didn’t have the strength to delete it after spending some much time and money on it) and it had to download the new game data but it still plays the original scenes with the original voice actors. Hearing Ben, Joe, Bill and Sean really warmed my heart. I miss them and the game, but just wanted to pop in here and say hi. I hope everyone is doing well.

Oh and I’m working on PT 3 of Dazzled and I might actually post it at some point 😆 love you guys.

Well I personally think that the new VAs are doing a good job and hopefully they'll get better in the future, maybe this is a chance for them to get, how do I say this, more known? Sksjsjs excuse my poor vocabulary lmao.

You said we'll see part III of dazzling date soon, does that mean you're back to posting :0 cause I've really missed your content 🥺

So first of all this ask made me cry. Not only because what happened with the VA situation was just so awful, but because of what happened I chose to stop playing the game and updating this blog. After I post Dazzled part III, this blog will be archived.

I miss you guys and honestly I never thought this blog would become popular or have people follow me and want to listen to my thoughts and rants on the game. I miss MLQC and I miss the guys, but I am not going to support anything that the Chinese government is directly meddling in or trying to control. Between the censorship, COVID-19, threatening to invade Taiwan, threatening to attack Japan for supporting and standing with Taiwan I don't understand how anyone can play and support this game. Human life and human rights will always be more important to me.

I love the story, I love Victor and the rest of the guys but I can't support something like this. I love you guys but I'm not coming back; and trust me, especially after seeing and listening to that trailer I've thought about it. But I can't do it. I'm sorry.

Hey it’s been a minute 😅

Hope everyone has been doing well, I’ve been busy with some personal stuff but I was scrolling on various social media earlier and I don’t know how because I’ve literally unfollowed and unliked everything that is MLQC. But yeah…I saw the trailer for Banquet in the Desert they really and I mean REALLY went out of their way to find voice actors or at least asked them to sound like the original voice actors yeah?

No idea who is voicing Victor but that is pretty dang close to Ben’s voice 😂

Anyway, hope everyone is well. I miss you guys and I’m excited to share Dazzled part III with you all soon ☺️😉

My next adventure.

I can’t believe that this is actually happening, I am officially done with and leaving MLQC fandom. It’s very bittersweet because I found this game during a very difficult time in my life and to just watch it fall apart because of someone saying that Taiwan is a country is just beyond nuts to me. But here we are.

I have always wanted a blog like this, a place to interact and share my thoughts and musings with the same people who also love what I love. I never thought it would be successful or that people would actually engage in conversation with me, let alone reblog my content. I look at each and every like, reblog, comment on all my posts, every single one. I read what you guys write up in the tags too which I always found pretty neat because I always reblog things and add my two cents in the tags. Even having people tag me in posts or send me asks...it meant so much. For almost five years I hadn’t written anything until I made this blog and all your encouragement and kindness helped me want to write again. You guys mean so much to me, but I can’t continue to support or play this game after everything that has happened. It’s just been a cluster bleep of a Summer for this game and I still cannot believe that ALL our original voice actors are gone. What’s done is done and I’ve cried, gotten angry, vented on here and since the announcement the last couple of days ago....I am just done. I honestly don’t feel anything, I am just done. 

I can’t help thinking that maybe if Ben hadn’t left none of this would've happened😂😂 Let’s be honest Ben leaving was just the beginning and downfall of the EN server lmao. And who knows? Maybe in another timeline or dimension everything is normal and we are all playing MLQC with no issues and we are all happy. It’s nice to dream isn’t it? 😆

So what’s next? I thought of continuing writing fanfics of MLQC, but I just can’t. And while I will always love our guys and their story with MC, my heart just isn’t in it anymore. Ironically enough this entire debacle has pushed me to continue and finish Dazzled part III so look for that soon and once that is published, I will be done with this blog. I’m not going to delete it, but it will be archived. 

However, I want to keep writing. I’m a fan of many animes/mangas so I’m still trying to narrow things down to focus/write on. So a bunch of people are trying to justify all the bullshit by posting this part of Sean’s thread on all the MLQC socials and I’m already getting sick of it.

You cannot do this kind of shit to AMERICAN employees, this is NOT an excuse AND political stuff/not saying political stuff was NOWHERE in their contract as Joe as stated several times.

Am I mad at the Papergames/Elex employees? Of course not but it’s still not an excuse for ANY of this. I understand they can’t do anything about the situation but using this tweet saying that nothing could be done is just ridiculous. And again it’s people posting this tweet that have no followers or friends and no info on their socials…interesting.

Also all of this happened with the VA’s to begin with because some Chinese troll found the DELETED tweet of Jonah’s “Taiwan is a country.” Remember that.

What do you think of ex-MLQC playerswhen choose to leave the game because of their stance on Taiwan, playing genshin and Tears of Themis which is another Chinese developed game?

So I’m not going to sugar coat this and everyone is entitled to their opinion but this is how I feel about it: if you quit playing MLQC and just moved on playing Genishin Impact and Tears of Themis, you’re a hypocrite.

China is dead serious on taking over Taiwan and its people. They are getting worse as time passes, threatening to nuke Japan is only the beginning. It’s sad, the whole situation is sad because I love their games but how can you support people like that? I don’t get it.
