During inquiry, we get an interesting tid-bit about the Sheran Sharm family after the queen's death that I thought was worth dedicating the sole post to.

I have been gently in love with Armand for more than 10?? years.. And it's never been easy. One day I got used to my position. But what is happening around the series now, in connection with the release of season 4 and the manga, upsets me terribly.

All I have left of Armand is that mural... and Aurora... which is now hated by most of the fandom, thanks to the damn manga.

My beloved boy was lucky enough, in a marriage of convenience, to find love and experience a drop of happiness before his death... I was afraid of Aurora, like all the viewers at first... But in the end, she became the best gift for me! AND NOW I HATE THAT THEY'RE TRYING TO MOLD HER INTO A MANGA VILLAIN.

I understand her feelings and I won't judge her for running away during the battle. I see potential in her and try to comically outplay her "manipulativeness" in my AU, and make her intentions multifaceted. I will never hate Aurora. But I will hate TOT for this fucking attitude towards a girl who was so dear to my prince... It's fucking disrespectful and disgusting to try to put drama in history in THIS WAY.

If all this really turns into a simple battle for the right to the throne, between Aurora and Amalia... I will deny everything. I hope this conflict is just distracting us from the main threat.. And our girls will be able to talk calmly and reconcile before the "real" story storm.

Hmm, Great wave, I'm saddened every time I read it because if Aurora is lying, she herself is insulting her husband with no regard, and if she is telling the truth, it means that Ankama's insults to Armand have never stopped

Because if Armand knew that Aurora was conceived, he would have to tell Amalia to protect Aurora because he knows that his child will inherit the throne

Even if he had no choice but to tell Amalia that she would inherit the throne, couldn't he have told her that in itself?

Wow, bro, I've never seen anyone in their posts this particular side of that fight in detail.

Yes, I admit my favorite fought dishonestly. It was unworthy behavior for a prince and just a man. And yes, he is older than the Dally, but allows himself to arrange dangerous fights, sometimes the thought of it scares me.

I will add from myself small analysis of Armand's behavior:

When Dally introduced himself as «Tristepin de Percedal. Knight from Order of the Guardians of Shushus» Armand reacted with surprise.. and a sneer? He doesn't just think iops aren't smart enough. From the very beginning, he found the way iop positions itself silly and ridiculous. Too loud, too serious, too proud. And in this they are similar... /Ahem, let's say.. Armand doesn't like this similarity between them/

I find it funny and charming. At the time of season 1, Percedal did not yet look like a knight in shining armor. He behaved like a beginner, often screw up, behaved abruptly and hastily. Because of this, he argued with the Sadida guards at lunch. I can't say that this is an indicator of politeness in his blood. He learned to listen to friends, but he still wasn't ready to restrain his impulses to "defend his honor from everyone who looked at him askance." This led him to a duel with Armand. And we admit that initially Dally showed much more jealousy of Evangeline and discontent with Armand.

Armand... Yas, just wanted to humiliate iop (who declared himself so loudly, and then beat up the royal guard).

/If Armand had just wanted to beat Dally, out of jealousy of Eva, he would have done it anytime, but he also wanted to defend the honor of his soldiers. Because this is his kingdom and his people. And he considers Eve his people, who needs to be protected from all sorts of iops. *fist bump on the table* heh/

And yes, he deliberately fought dishonestly! I think, he just wanted to make Dally do stupid things, in front of Evangeline, and force him to commit dirty tricks. This is confirmed by Armand's phrases during the fight and the fact that he "got bored" at the end. Because Percedal fought fairly. Well... He got his way. Forced Dally to use a merge with Rubi. If only he knew how it would turn out...

The end of season 4 pleased me with a nice conversation between Armi and Dally. In which Armand is glad to see iop and admits that it is an honor for him to fight alongside... This proves that Armand has long realized his mistakes of youth and let go of that situation.

I’m currently watching wakfu again, and made it to episode 19, and I made a small rant about how I felt about the fight. This is solely my interpretation and I know that a lot of the things I thing are not cannon to the actual lore so please don’t think I’m stating it all as truth..

Looking back to season one, we are introduced to some iopish customs. The one I would mainly like to point out is their sparring. Not fighting. Sparring. A iop takes a spar as an act of friendliness, not as an act of aggression. In episode 19 of season 1, dally spars with Armand with no ill intent. In fact, he uses only his bare hands instead of Rubilax, a sword that could most definitely defeat Armand, because he doesn’t want to “scar royalty.” I personally interpreted it less as something to aggravate Armand and more of something to be polite and “courteous”, something brought up by Eva near the beginning of the episode.

With all that said, Percedal has a great sense of honor. He at first says no to a sparring match with Armand (he listens to his friends sometimes thank god), but Armand uses courtesy against him, making Percedal think that it’s just that. A sparring match. Before the match even begins, dally asks for a hands only match, not only because he doesn’t want to permanently harm royalty but also to even out the playing field. He wants a fair match because this isn’t a fight. Which brings me to my favorite part of this rant.

Armand isn’t sparring. He’s fighting. He’s deliberately going way too hard on percedal, and is using unfair advantages that usually aren’t allowed in a sparring match because he’s fighting with the intent to be unfair. When he starts to use vines as a whip, dally even states that it isn’t fair, and says “is this you acting with courtesy?” Because to a iop,  a sparring match isn’t meant to be a fight to the death, it’s just meant to be a courteous way to have fun. THATS ALL HES TRYING TO DO. have FUN. Armond of course has a bit of a dosliking of percedal from the start because of his obvious liking towards Evangelyne. The audience is also aware that most people only view iops as Brutish stupid smoothbrained violent people. Armand is no exception. He gets smug, and dally again states how the sparring match isn’t fair. He literally says this fucking twice. The second time more asserting how unfair it is. “This isn’t a fair fight anymore!” 

And he’s absolutely right. I may be repeating myself but dally had said before the fight that it was a hand to hand fight. Armand didn’t care. In fact Armand knew dally wanted a spar, he’s just an asshole. He wanted to show off to Eva. Show her how strong he is (which pissed her off sooooooo bad girly was rooting for her iop) and even when Armand gets hit, which definitely surprised him, he uses a way too violent way to beat percedal, again, without using his fists when he was fucking asked to. weapons means no cheap magic tricks too. He calls it a battle. He literally admits to not seeing it as a harmless spar. He was fighting and he fucking knew it. It gets even worse when he tries to fucking kill dally. A teenager who made fun of his breath (a very weak taunt too, only cause he was upset). Armand’s a full grown man. He’s fucking 21 for Christ’s sake. He acted completely irrationally. Over a small quip. 

Even before dally said anything like that, Amalia yells at her brother saying “are you out of your mind?! Are you trying to kill him?!” 

I could continue but I’m not.. uh anyway Armand’s a bitch and a dally was justified over using rubies because Armand was literally going to kill him.
