Hi, it’s been a while, hasn’t it? I hope everyone has been doing well lately! A lot has happened to me since the last time I posted, or even opened Tumblr, truth be told... Time goes by so fast, and I didn’t realize that I’ve been away for so long.

Distance really does make the difference, I guess. I’ve kind of fallen out of writing after being pulled away from it for quite some time. I must have been really busy. Life outside Tumblr has pretty much drained the creativity and motivation left in me, so I’m really sorry for being inactive and unresponsive. You have all been kind enough to understand why I haven’t been writing consistently. In fact, it’s the kindest I’ve ever experienced as a writer in an online community. I’m truly grateful for it and I will carry everyone’s warm welcomes and kindness wherever I go. I’ll even be carrying it, and I regret to say this, as I formally depart from Tumblr as a writer.

Writing has been very enriching for me, especially with the whole pandemic. It kept me distracted from life’s realities and it helped me improve. I really want to dedicate more time to it, but I’m afraid writing is something I can no longer do at this point. I’ve had so much planned... and I don’t want to disappoint anyone by suddenly leaving without a trace. Not without being transparent, just to clarify. While this is goodbye, I want to put more of my energy into thanking everyone for being with me in this journey. In times of trouble, I go back to all the nice feedback from everyone who has read my work. I don’t reply to comments and tags, but I want to use this opportunity to thank every single one of you for giving time to read the works I’ve poured my heart and soul into. It means so much to me, in words I cannot express. Thank you so much. I truly mean it.

As for my works that I have left behind, I really am sorry for never continuing them. I mentioned earlier that I had so much planned, so I really regret not being able to write them. A lot of my works don’t have conclusive endings because I want that to be an opportunity for you, the reader, to paint out your own story line. I hope that even when I’m away, you’ll be able to enjoy my writing in a way that will feel more personal to you. I won’t be deleting this blog for that very reason. Do feel free to go back here if you feel inclined to read my works again. 

To my closest friends on Tumblr, you will always be in my thoughts. You never left my thoughts, truthfully speaking. There are times where I wonder how you all are, and I do worry at times thinking about your welfare. I’m sorry I couldn’t make time to reach out. I hope you’re all faring well, and I’ll always continue to wish you all the best in life. I’m grateful for your friendship. I really am.

I think that covers it! Thank you Tumblr community. Because of you, I have made great memories that I can look back to fondly. Do take care everyone, I will miss you all! (❁´◡`❁)

Hello hello again everyone after a long time (❁´◡`❁) How is everyone lately? My first semester is finally over so I have a bit of more time to squeeze to get back to writing, although my second semester is going to start very soon ಥ_ಥ

I actually wrote this to conduct a survey… I was hoping for some feedback because I’m not sure which course of action to take! So please leave a reply or an ask regarding my questions below:

I am ready to write for the remaining members and units of NCT! That is, I am ready to write for NCT Dream, WayV, and Sungchan+Shotaro. However, I might have to stop writing for ATEEZ because I personally am not capable of accepting requests for all these groups at the same time. I haven’t been really in-touch with ATEEZ either, and I also observed that I seem to be getting more requests from NCT and Oneus anyway so I don’t think it’s much of a loss… Please let me know if you’re alright with this set-up!

I would like to start anew! I would like to ask for your consent to delete my current requests (aside from those under ATEEZ and those that have progress in this list). I’ve been spending a lot of my time on these ones, but I really want to work on new projects you see இ௰இ I hope you all don’t mind, plus if you really would like to resend them when I open my requests please do so! Just let me know what you think please (❁´◡`❁)

I agree with you.. the mv is truly something else! there's so much to process... i've been watching their performances and even in the mv too, Hwanwoong's facial expressions just blow me away... every time it's his part and he's dancing he goes OFFFFF ugh i'm so proud ;3; ALSO I'M STILL NOT OVER DONGJU'S HAIR !! it looks so gooood :( I miss Johnny's long hair so i'm glad i can live through Dongju hehe,,, all of the members have just done such a great job ugh they are all amazing

+but upon first watching the mv, i was blown away by Ravn omg,,, and theN LEEDO RAPPING IN HIS DEEP VOICE ? AND SEOHO HIGH NOTES? AND KEonhee this man dances so gracefully pls i love them all :(( this concept has been so wild but they've really made it their own and i love them for it ><

OMG YEAHHHHH!!!! I heard that the company changed stylists for this comeback, and I’m honestly very pleased and happy with the results!! Dongju truly rocked that look, and I love the way they experimented with his hairstyles (;´༎ຶД༎ຶ`) My personal favorite was when they braided his hair, he’s so adorable;;;; (;´༎ຶД༎ຶ`) I saw all the tweets comparing Johnny and Dongju’s hair, I saw that them comparing it as well to skz Hyunjin? What a power trio to be honest HAHAHAHA

Yes omg.... This comeback really was unexpected in different ways, but they pulled everything off so well and I’m so proud of them too o(TヘTo) Omg and about the dancing!!! I know this song was pretty hardcore but??? I don’t know why but the choreo still has some sort of grace to it? I’m no dancer but I love how the choreography is just so distinctively Oneus you know? (´▽`ʃ♡ƪ)

I miss their promotions, but I know they’re doing Rewind right now so I’m enjoying it just as much !!! Also makes me emo seeing them doing all the old choreography and wearing the old outfits;;;;;; Tears in my eyes :,)

[scenario] early mornings with ravn

hii, is it possible to request for a ravn fluff piece? 🥺 there is this video of him and hwanwoong saying "I love you" to each other and the part where he says 'dont close your eyes, I love you' is totally stuck in my head because he sound sooooo endearing saying that 😭 also, if it is not too much to add - ravn saying "have you slept well? wake up~" in the fluff piece 🥺 he said it in one of his recent vlive and it sound super soft as well thankyou so much for all the wonderful writings!🌙

Contrary to the cultural depictions of his namesake, Youngjo actually sees himself as someone to be associated with bright and joyful things. While a raven is commonly associated with loss, death, darkness, and omens, Youngjo finds it ironic that he finds bliss in the bright and simple things in life. There’s some sort of incandescent joy that comes from seeing the daisies that bloom along the sidewalk, from the feeling of the sun kissing his skin, and even from the varying melodies that leave the speakers of his devices. There’s so much happiness the world has to offer that he finds it somehow baffling that his image may have been reduced to darkness.

No way can he be as broody as a raven when he finds himself smiling as soon as he wakes up in the early morning. With a glimpse toward the clock on the nightstand, he notes that his heart is bursting at the seams as early as 7:15 in the morning. As he expected, a ray of light seeps past the windows of his bedroom and his eyes crinkle at the contact. Through the creases of his eyes he feels the morning stars that have accumulated at the edge of his lashes-- definitely evidence of a good night’s sleep. And as he reaches his arm outward to stretch his shoulders, he feels your warm body shift beside his torso.

There’s so much happiness the world has to offer. For Youngjo, however, the greatest joy in the universe comes from waking up in the morning knowing that you’re by his side.

Quite literally beside him actually, you’re still deep in your slumber facing Youngjo’s torso. You have one arm tucked under your head and the other is resting across the male’s lap. The sunlight doesn’t hit you in the same way it does for Youngjo, but he can see you despite the little light source available. He can see the morning stars that have dusted on the corner of your eyes, and he can see the way your chest rises and falls.

It’s a sight he’s accustomed to, seeing you deep in your sleep while he’s up so early in the morning. It’s honestly what makes the mornings better than how they used to be before he met you. However, Youngjo doesn’t seem to want to spend this moment fondly watching you. No, this time he wants to do something akin to pillow talk. He wants to see your eyes flutter open and he wants to feel his heart pound at the sight of you.

So he does. After brushing his hair away from his eyes, his hand moves to gently caress your cheek and dust off the morning stars with his thumb. At the contact, your eyebrows furror and your head shifts slightly at the warmth of his palm. Youngjo lets out a laugh when he hears you grumbling lowly, noticing your disdain for being up at such an ungodly hour.

“Hey,” He calls out gently. “Have you slept well, my love?” Youngjo reattempts to rouse you from your slumber, this time leaning in to kiss the corner of your eyes once, and once more on your eyelid. A smile makes its way to Youngjo’s lips when he sees you grinning in delight.

“I was.” You whisper. Your arm around his torso leaves in favor of stretching your arms and shoulders. A little whine leaves your lips as you feel your muscles contract, though regardless of the soreness, you’re still quick to snatch the comforter that’s resting on your stomach, turn around, and hide under the covers playfully. “But I still want to sleep, Youngjo!” You huff, getting ready to sleep again.

“No, wake up!” Youngjo’s speed rivals yours, especially with the way he manages to turn your body back towards him and encase you in his strong grip. Unlike earlier, his head’s now resting on the pillows and your forehead is on his chest. And unlike earlier, you finally tilt your head upward and open your eyes. The light is harsh, so you shut them back almost immediately. But when you feel Youngjo’s lips on your forehead, ever so slightly whispering “wake up~” on the expanse of your skin, you can’t help but open your eyes slowly. His lips have left your forehead to kiss your cheek, and you’re so close to him that you can feel Youngjo smiling. 

“Don’t close your eyes anymore, (Y/N).” He pleads. “I miss you.”

You hum, basking in his affection. “We’ve only been sleeping for a few hours, Youngjo. And we had our fun yesterday, didn’t we? Was that not enough?”

“Ah,” he sighs. “More than enough, that’s what I thought. But you were in my dreams last night and before I could give you a kiss, I woke up.”

“That’s a shame.”

“Couldn’t even tell you ‘I love you’ either.”

“Aw, my poor baby~” You coo, this time you reach your hands out to cup his face gently. You guide his face towards your gaze, and you notice the morning stars that have spread out on the corners of his eyes. You notice the dark circles under his eyes, and you can’t help but chuckle at the tuft of hair that sticks out in such an odd direction. Without much thought, your thumbs make their way to wipe out the Sandman’s work near his eyes and you beam at him. “Well, I’m here aren’t I? How about you give me my morning kiss, hmm?”

Youngjo grins cheekily and he dives down to kiss you everywhere. One kiss on each eyelid, a lingering kiss on the top of your forehead, a short peck on your nose, and a deep kiss on your lips-- each gentle touch of affection followed with a whisper of “I love you”. And you stay that way until the sunlight has shifted away from your bodies, until the birds have ceased their song, and until Youngjo pulls away from all the kisses he graced you with. 

There’s so much happiness the world has to offer. For you, however, the greatest joy in the universe comes from waking up in the morning knowing that Youngjo loves you to the moon and back.

Yessssss oneus comeback !!!! They’re reaching greater heights every day and I’m so so so so proud of them ಥ_ಥ Wow... the MV, you say? It’s a lot to take in at first glance to be honest HAHAHAHAHA (´▽｀) It’s such a big change you feel, and I’m really happy seeing them explore genres, even if a lot of them weren’t so sure about the title track at first!! I was quite amazed at the details they put in the MV, there are elements that you see in Bbusyeo and TBONTB and I find it intriguing that they were able to incorporate them!! I don’t think I have the brain capacity to find the links between them and a potential story line though.... (@__@) Overall, I really enjoyed this entire album!! Everything about it!!

Oh no worries!! I was ready to another re-evaluation of my favorites because I really couldn’t choose (ಥ _ ಥ) I really love Oneus’ music that way, they’re all enjoyable tracks!! Everyone was very excited for Cold Leftovers, and as someone who didn’t get to watch Ontact, I was very much anticipating for it!! The wait was all worth it, I really loved it!!

Incomplete and Rewind are so good too!! I agree, wow the instrumentals sound so nice... I found myself listening twice, for focusing on the voices and then for the instruments (｡･∀･)ﾉﾞ I really appreciate their pop and upbeat songs, it’s a good contrast and it makes the whole album diverse!! Truly /chefs kiss

oneus and their love languages

Hello there! I think this qualifies as a headcannon (?), would you do something like that about how Oneus would show love to their s/o, maybe their love languages? Btw, your writing is always so beautifully creative and detailed!

☽. after struggling through a semester, i’m back !! happy 2021 everyone !! sorry also if this took a while;;; the love languages are meant to describe a specific person’s preferred expressions of love so this is me basically assigning them love languages. most of the time, one’s personal love language is also how they express their own affection towards someone else so i hope this is alright!! according to gary chapman (1992) there are five ways to express and experience love: words of affirmation, physical touch, receiving gifts, quality time, and acts of service.

[RAVN] — physical touch and acts of service

I don’t think we can deny that Youngjo is a touchy person;;; Plus, he’s very affectionate with the rest of Oneus so just imagine how much that would increase should he be in a relationship with someone;;;

Hugs? Hand-holding? Kisses? Cuddles? Massages? You name it, he’d love it for you and himself !! Please, he’s honestly ready to smother someone with affection, it’s in his Gaze !!

But he doesn’t limit himself to romantic advances such as these, he’s definitely the type to keep a hand on you at all times

There’s always a hand on your back wherever you go, he’s ready to give affectionate pats, and maybe his hand will find its way through your hair

Either way, he’s showing his love through gentle touches and he’d definitely would like these reciprocated 

Though aside from that, I see someone as caring as Youngjo with a love language like acts of service

It might be motivated by his role as the eldest member, but he’s always there to help and care for the members

Such a role must be difficult to do, so I imagine how much he’d appreciate someone who would be with him through everything and remind him that he can relax too !! Someone who will let him know that they’re there to help

[Seoho] — words of affirmation and receiving gifts

Oh Seoho..... he really loves it when people compliment him, his smile is so precious every time ( T﹏T )

Especially since he’s been being more active in the music-production process, he really loves receiving praises for his work!! Do you ever think about how happy he looks whenever someone brings up Dizzy? He’s so precious :,)

With a significant other, I think even the simplest kind words would make Seoho utterly happy, and it doesn’t really matter if he’s asking for affirmation or you’re willingly it

What matters is that anything that can remind him that he’s doing well will make him feel complete, and motivate him to strive harder

Though at the same time, I feel like receiving gifts would be perfect for him too!!

And I say this because I’m sure so many people have gifted him Pepe-related items, and I see him using them often

So I do feel inclined to say that he may be the type to appreciate any form of gift, especially they come from the heart!! More so if they’re items you know he holds sentimental value over, like Pepe-related items

But gifts would make him feel happy that you’re thinking of him, and words of affirmation remind him that you love him with all your heart

[Leedo] — words of affirmation and quality time

He’s expressed his struggles to form the right words, so I believe that Geonhak would truly appreciate someone who could understand him and brings the words in his mind to life

I’d also like to highlight once again how important trust is, in my belief at least, to Geonhak, so I definitely see him with a partner who would actively listen to him and make him feel validated

Despite his struggles though, I think we, as fans, can really see his effort when he sends messages and letters to us, he’s really thoughtful and he’s genuinely looking after everyone :,) i’m so soft pls

So in that sense, I see him having such a love language, but apart from that I’m also inclined to believe that he might identify with quality time as well!!

He just seems like the type of person who would like a partner that’d be well-integrated in his life, so maybe you’ll catch him inviting you to the gym (whether or not you decide to exercise with him is up to you), to a coffee shop, pretty much anywhere!!

Maybe even just within the comforts of home, just as long as you’re there uwu

He also appears to be someone who may enjoy private and more intimate moments with his partner, so quality time would seem very fitting too

In the end, Geonhak is a soft guy who sees trust as very vital, and these languages help build up that foundation!!

[Keonhee] — receiving gifts and quality time

Do you ever remember how happy Keonhee was when he received Ryan-themed items? Because I do, it lives in my mind rent-free and I just really want to see him that happy everyday

Though I don’t see Keonhee as someone who actively seeks material items, he seems more like the type of person who considers even sent pictures via chat as gifts

In the same way he keeps everyone updated with his many selcas, I think Keonhee would feel grateful that his partner would gift him simple things because it will make him feel that he’s part of your life, and that you want him to be with you through even the most mundane of days

This is also why I feel like quality time would be his other love language, in terms of integration in each others’ lives

Quality time as a love language also entails uninterrupted and focused conversations, and Keonhee definitely would have a lot to share because of how much he enjoys discussions and conversations (he’s said it himself, he can be quite introspective !!)

A partner who would value their time together as much as Keonhee would may be important to him !! 

Time itself is a gift, and every memory made with you is a blessing Keonhee will always be grateful for uwu

[Hwanwoong] — acts of service and physical touch

I admit, it took me a long time to decide which would fit Hwanwoong best? I feel like it’s because Hwanwoong’s love language may be a hybrid of these 5 or a completely unconventional one

But after enough research, I think Hwanwoong’s would be acts of service first and physical touch second!! Although physical touch would only manifest after a well-established relationship

I’ve seen Hwanwoong actively taking care of people around him, regardless if they’re a friend or a stranger, so I feel that he’d identify well with it

He really goes out of his way to communicate with fans because he finds it healing for him, and I do believe that spending quality time with someone he loves would make him feel fulfilled in some way

Meanwhile for words of affirmation, I think, alongside how much love he puts in his messages for fans, it might be something he desires for himself

Dongju works hard to improve on his skills as an idol, and I think hearing words of encouragement and affirmation from time to time will make him feel validated for his hard work

Time and kind words are something he willingly gives, and I think for him to receive it will truly make him feel loved !!
