Working at a radio station has put so many questions in my head about the station in Nightvale. Like, does the place run on eldritch podcast magic or is Cecil in there at the crack of dawn in a heated and ongoing battle with the station's only printer? Do Cecil and the interns wrangle for hours with Adobe Audition and WAVcart or does it all just get broadcasted immediately and perfectly via unexplainable radio magic? Does Cecil spend 3.5 hours browsing through their music library room for the perfect weather segment? Is there a heap of local weather printouts on his desk piling up bc he never reads them? Most importantly, is there a "FEED KOSHEK!! 7:00 A.M." note on the scheduling whiteboard or does everyone just leave it to Cecil and he never forgets. Everything with the unseen and terrifying "station management" is real though. That's just how local radio is.
