Hi ! I have to tell I really miss your BlitzStriker fanfics hope your'e ok. I hope one day you'll came back.

Hi there my Lovelies!! It's been a hot minute, hasn't it??

I'm going to be honest with you all and say, first and foremost, THAT I HAVE MISSED YOU TOO SO SO MUCH!! I miss writing for you all. I miss BlitzStrike--even though a lot of the controversy with Vivziepop and other craziness in the fandom has made Helluva Boss just a tinyyyyyy bit more off-putting than before but that's another topic for a completely different post. The thing I want to talk about here is that I really hope that soon I'll be able to get back into the swing of things and get back to "normal", but first I want to give an explanation of where I've been these past few months:

First it was just the holidays. Things got to be way too busy from November-December and I just didn't have the time to sit down and be active. I was planning to try to jump back into the full swing of things in January.....but that didn't happen. On New Year's Eve, my roommate and I got the news that our other roommate--who had been visiting with her family for two weeks prior--had tested positive for Covid. So naturally we were freaking out, rushing off to get tests done, and trying to make plans for how to isolate better in our house as our roommate's work was being terrible and wanting her to come back to work even though she was still testing positive. So that was a whole week and a half of stressful house prepping, but we finally managed to get that taken care of [and got her back here after she started testing negative] and I thought things could pick back up as normal after. That didn't happen though when I got the news two days before my birthday that one of my cousins had suddenly and unexpectedly passed away, and just like that, the world kinda shattered over twice for me. I'm still kind of processing and in the cloudy fog of devestation, and that's where I'm still sitting at right now as I type. It's been almost a month as of tomorrow, but honestly the start to the year I had was emotionally and mentally so jarring and overwhelming that I still haven't gotten to a place where I can feel like I can be active again. I'm not really sure when it's going to be at this point, but I hope it will be soon. Like I said, I miss everyone here in the BlitzStrike fandom terribly and have been wanting to write so many new things to share with everybody!! I hope you can understand and forgive the lingering delay tho. ;3;

I hope you're all doing well, staying safe, and having a much better start to the new year!! Yeeeeeeeees I haven't posted anything in awhile and I'm SO FREAKING SORRY FOR THAT!! I got really busy with the holidays and theeeeeeeeeeen I got sick [sinus/migraine stuff] that I'm only just now starting to get better. It hasn't been the most fun. ;n;

I'm going to take another few days to try and fully recover and get back into the swing of things, but please know that I love you all tons and am hoping to get back into a regualr posting schedule faiiiiiiiirly soon. Hi Vizo, I have read some of your content and sorry if the question sounds a bit strange, but why so much dislike for stolas and stolitz?

Hi there!! It's not a strange question at all, and if you want the [way too] long answer to why Stolitz just doesn't work for me, you can check out this post here where I talk about it in detail [comparing it to the BlitzStrike ship and why it was way easier for me to get on board with that ship than Stolitz]. :)

For a shorter[-ish] answer, let me clarify something very important: I don't dislike the concept of Stolas as a character. In fact, when I first got into Helluva Boss, I really liked him as a character. I followed the Instagram accounts, I read all the extra content, and I was completely HOOKED on the Stolitz ship. However, what happened around the time that season 5 came out is that I started to really think about things from a full story perspective, and the more I thought about it, the more I realized that I had some maaaaaajor problems with Stolas's character as he was being presented in the show, as well as how the relationship with Blitz was being interpreted and presented and supported by fans and the show's creators themselves. I had gone into the Stolitz ship thinking that it was going to be the classic "here are two people who are in a fake relationship that isn't actually a healthy loving relationship at the start, but as things go on they're both going to realize that they were assholes and things are going to progress into something healthier". What I started to realize was actually happening however is that the relationship wasn't actually showing any kind of progression at all, but it was being treated as though it had even though nothing had changed between them in the show. Not only that, but the show suddenly seemed like it was trying really hard to set the foundations for pushing towards a healtier relationship kind of out of nowhere, and it did so at the expense of setting aside the very interesting plot points that had been building up throughout the season [i.e. Stella as a villain, Stolas's marriage and Octavia, the latest plot thread with D.H.O.R.K.S, etc] in favor of just putting the full attention on trying to make Blitz and Stolas work through their relationship right there at the finale. I had thought that the Stolitz relationship was something that was going to be MULTIPLE seasons worth of sorting out and exploring, seeing the two characters grow and change as they grow closer together. Honestly I would be so, so, so much more open to the idea of their relationship if the showrunners had just taken their time to really let their relationship develop slowly over time--properly balancing out the complexities of their relationship with the really creative and suspenseful story/plot points that they've made. Instead....it feels like they're just trying to squish all of that development into the last two episodes of season one. I'm not sure why, but it feels very unbalanced and really kind of awkward.

Also, and I apologize if this offends anyone--that's absolutely not my intention here at all--but I'm going to be honest and say that the other big thing that's kind of turned me off from Stolitz and Stolas as a character.....is the fandom. I know there are so many lovely people out there who ship Stolitz, and I'm sure there are even some lovely fans of Stolas who also are willing to acknowledge his flaws and don't excuse his shitty behavior as being shitty behavior, but I can also honestly say I haven't come across many of them. Most of the people I've seen in the Stolitz ship are strangely aggressive towards people who aren't on board with it and openly hostile if you say any kind of criticism against Stolas's character in general. I don't really get why he's treated like this perfect being who can do no wrong when I really do think that his flaws are what make him an interesting and relatable character, but who knows? I honestly don't understand it and actively try not to be a part of it. To clarify again just in case someone missed it before though: I'm not saying that everyone who ships Stolitz is that way, or everyone who is a fan of Stolas is like way. I'm fully on board that you're free to ship whoever you want to ship if it's making you happy and isn't hurting anyone else. All I'm saying is that there are people out there who are far more hostile and unforgiving than I'm comfortable interacting with, and there's enough of them to make it extra hard to get behind Stolitz and Stolas in any kind of positive way.

What the new episode of Helluva Boss has taught me:

The writers for the show are completely willing to sacrifice storytelling in favor of pulling whatever strings they have to in order to combat criticism of their main ship and force said ship to work.  Got it.  @_@

What if blitz and striker met a different way? Think of it! The perfect place to meet other then the harvest moon festival would obviously be at a horse riding lesson!

That is my favorite headcanon for them I'm not gonna lie!! After all--Blitz had to get those horse riding lessons from someone in Wrath. :3

A Helluva List of OCs!!

So I’ve been working on a handful of ocs that are set to appear in a few of my bigger fanfic works on AO3 buuuuuuuuuut I also started telling a few friends about them here on Tumblr too and thought: Why not just make a full intro post for them here??  So that’s essentially what this is.  :D

Bear in mind, this is a just for funsies kind of thing--you DEFINITELY do not need to know all of this info to be able to read and enjoy the fics that feature these guys in them--and the info that I post here is not going to contain any major spoilers for anything that is going to happen in any of the stories that they appear in.  This is all just purely introductory information about these characters to provide you guys with some context for any fics or snippets that they appear in either here on Tumblr or on AO3 to answer the question of: Who the fuck is this?? 

First up, we have the ocs that I HAVE actually written about here on Tumblr in posts before: the helluva kids group [including the horses lol]: 

Twist & Ty - Blitz and Striker’s twins that are absolute little devils but I love them both so so much 

Missile [“Missi”], Mark, and Maverick - Millie and Moxxie’s kids “the Minis” 

Ember - a sickly horse that Blitz bonded with that he and Striker purchased and brought back to her full health--she is Blitz’s horse now 

WildFire - a baby foal that--depending on who you ask in my asks, is either an abandoned foal that Blitz and Striker also rescued OR the foal of Bombproof and Ember.  For me personally, I tend to prefer WildFire being the name of Bomb and Ember’s foal, so don’t be surprised if you see that name being used to reference that sweet little spitfire in any future writings :D 

[Ember and Bombproof’s Adopted Foal] - the rescued foal as mentioned above. SOMEONE PLEASE GIVE THIS PRECIOUS LITTLE ONE A NAME!! :D <3 <3

And now for the ones that I think only two people here on Tumblr might have heard me talk about before!!  

Rhys - A succubus [he/him | they/them] who is currently residing in an apartment with his Hellhound bff Nova [@candycoloredwolf’s OC]  in one of the lower-end areas somewhere between Pentagram City and Imp City in the Pride Ring.  He’s a freelance fashion designer who has a far more recognizable family history centered in Pentagram City.....but he doesn’t talk about that much.  Other names connected with him that are likely to get mentioned are his parents [Tytus and Maeveen] and his siblings [Valerie, Gwen, and Conor].  Rhys is the 3rd child in the family--after his two older sisters and before his younger brother.

Belladonna - An imp [she/her] from the Wrath Ring who is very much your typical [demon] “Southern Belle” who has a habit of flirting with any and all potential suitors that try to win her favor--kind of a Katrina Van Tassel from “The Legend of Sleepy Hollow” type. Her family owns one of the larger farms in the area and have a rather notorious reputation for keeping themselves at the top of the totem pole in those parts. They’re “neighbors” of Millie’s parents [in the way that people are neighbors in their neck of the woods are spread out across entire acres of farmland], and is an old schoolmate of Millie’s and her siblings.  

Seelie - A Hellhound [she/her] that works as a waitress by day and a thief by night.  Her design is primarily based off of a Silken Windhound [also known as a long haired whippet], but I’ve added a touch of Australian Shepherd into the mix with her in giving her their famous heterochromia eyes of one blue and one brown.  She’s primarily centered around the outskirts of Imp City and in Imp City itself, and has a history with one of the local street gangs in the area that’s notorious for getting up to all kinds of sketchy shenanigans--especially after dark.  She’s very submissive to higher authorities, and she’s always seeking to please the people who are most important in her life.  She’s also a talented make-up artist.

“That Bitch Across The Hall” -   .....I’m gonna be honest with you guys, I have no clue who this character actually is yet, but they’re the person who lives in the apartment across the hall from Blitz and Loona’s place.  They don’t pay their landlord with money.  @_@  **This will probably be edited as I work out more of their detailed info**

Selene - Stella’s younger sister, the aunt of Octavia and sister-in-law of Stolas.  I actually created her entirely to help compensate for the continuity change in Stella’s appearance between the pilot and the canon start of the episodes, and thus her appearance is Stella’s original design [with the blues instead of the pinks/and purples].  She’s honestly surprised that her sister’s marriage has lasted this long, and is remarkably unfazed for the most part by the chaotic direction it’s going in now.  She always was the more mellow of the two sisters.  

Ace - A Hellhound [she/her] who is a leader of a street gang that operates primarily in the crossroads of Imp City and Pentagram City.  She has a reputation for being sharp, merciless, and slightly psychotic in her fondness for seeing other people’s suffering--but she’s also a shrewd and capable tactician and puts her pack [and herself] before anyone or anything else.  Her eyes are frequently described as being “burning with malice”, and her favorite weapon-of-choice is a serrated hunting knife.  Her design is based on an Irish Setter / Rotweiller / Doberman mix.  

Chance - A Hellhound [he/him] who is a secondary leader of a street gang that operates primarily in the crossroads of Imp City and Pentagram City.  He’s known for being absolutely careless when it comes to making risky plays in terf wars, and his mood swings are ABSOLUTELY nothing to fuck around with, buuuuuut he’s earned his place as a leader amongst the pack by being the first one to step up and confront a conflict that he knows that he caused.  His design is based off a Dalmatian.

?? - A Sinner [they/them] who keeps trying to hire Blitz/I.M.P. for a hit but Blitz keeps turning them down.  I’m keeping this one purposefully mysterious because I feel like anything I say about them is going to end up being spoilery.  I might edit this later if I can figure out a way to be more descriptive tho!! :D 

Annnnnnnnnnd last but not least: The OCs that are based off of known/named demons in Hell

Sitri - A Prince of the Ars Goetia [he/him] like Stolas, based off of the prince of the same name from the Lesser Key of Solomon--also like Stolas.  He’s one of Stolas’s “frenemies” of sorts who genuinely thinks his advice on love and relationships is juuuuust the thing that Stolas needs to get himself out of “this little funk” [.....meaning Stolas’s marriage], though his personal interpretation of love isn’t exactly the most positive in outlook.  He primarily appears in his canonical design of having the head of a leopard and the wings of a griffin, though on his small ventures up to Earth now and then, he dons the disguise of a terribly handsome man.  His personal seal can be seen here.  

Orias - A Marquis of the Ars Goetia [he/him] like Stolas, based off of the marquis of the same name from the Lesser Key of Solomon--also like Stolas.  He and Stolas share a love for planets, only his area of expertise centers around the Zodiac/the more mystical, spiritual meanings that the planets can have.  For this reason, he and Stolas have something more akin to a true “friendship” than Stolas and Sitri have, and--although they are not of the same rank in the Ars Goetia--they do frequently meet up from time to time to chat over tea in Stolas’s garden.  He primarily appears in his canonical design of a lion with a serpent’s tail, and he carries his two pet snakes coiled around his right hand wherever he goes.  His personal seal can be seen here.  

Seere - A Prince of the Ars Goetia [he/him] like Stolas, based off of the prince of the same name--also like Stolas.  He’s a little peculiar in the Ars Goetia for a couple of reasons: 1. he’s one of the “newer” royalty and thus isn’t quite as fully established as some of the longer-reigning Goetias and 2. .....he’s pretty “meh” when it comes to being evil.  He actually thinks it’s a hell of a lot more fun to be nice to humans and help them find buried treasure or help them pick the winning numbers for the lottery than it is to bring them suffering and discontent.  As he would put it: “They don’t really seem to need our help when it comes to making misery, do they?”  He’s also one who doesn’t take on a traditionally animalistic demon form but rather just appears as a very beautiful man--arguably, and much to Sitri’s jealous annoyance, the MOST beautiful of the Goetian princes.

Maybe have Angel Dust X Stolas if you want to go the happy route for the twins au? Not sure if it's a part of the Evil Stolas au (in that case I feel like it would be hard for Blitz and Stolas to come back from last time). But anyway, it has been establish non-canonically that Angel Dust and Stolas has some good chemistry. Stolas is a fan of Angel's work and has propositioned him to come over more than once (which Angel is more then cool with cause Sugar Daddy). Stolas also hates Val so...

This might technically count as something spoilery for my future fanfics but I actually do have someone in mind as a potential partner for Stolas if I want to go that happy route with him. It's an OC--which I know can be really hit or miss in popularity with some readers--but I hope that the people who read my fics would be willing to give him a chance. I think there's a fun dynamic between the two of them, and there are a few similarities between him and Angel Dust that I thiiiiiiiink might give off a similar-ish vibe?? I'm actually working on making a post of all of the OCs you can expect to find in my works, so if you're interested in reading a little bit about him beforeheand, feel free to check that out once I get it finished!! It should be posted sometime today--honestly it might even be the next post I make today since it's almost done. If you have any additional questions at all, please feel free to ask!! His name is Rhys. :)

Otherwise, as far as Angel Dust x Stolas goes--I can definitely see the appeal and wouldn't necessariy be against it if I were to ship Stolas with someone else in the Hell canon. I'll be honest though and say that if there was one ship with Stolas that I was curious to explore in my own writings.....I would honestly want to go more in depth into the relationship between Stolas and Stella. I feel like, while they're clearly not in the same place in their relationship anymore, that there's a really good story there with a lot of emotions tied in, and--even if their story ends with them splitting apart--I think there's still a lot of room there to explore in terms of having their relationship end at least on more even ground.

I think I just ship Stolas x having healthy relationships--romantic or otherwise hahahahaha!! :D

okay but since snakes are cold blooded do you think Striker would be cold blooded too? I’m just imagining them on earth but it’s a little colder than they anticipated and Blitz has to hang back with him so he can help warm him up for long enough until M&M get finished dealing with their targets

This is absolutely a personal headcanon of mine, and I can't get enough of the mental image of Striker striding back over to Moxxie and Millie, bundled up in [and ttly rocking] Blitz's long coat, pulling out his pistol and firing a single shot to take down the last of their intended targets.

"The FUCK took you so long?" Moxxie's outraged voice demanded as he rounded on him.

"Sorry 'bout that, little dude," Striker replied smoothly, his drawl so pronounced that it could almost be called a purr. He draped an arm around Blitz as the smaller imp appeared at his side, the corner of his lips tugging into a smirk as he met his lover's gaze. "I was just gettin'.....warmed up."

Blitz returned the smirk, before turning to look point-blank at Moxxie's face.

"He means we've been fucking this whole time."

Hey Guys--It’s Another One of THOSE Posts:

Sooooooooooooo I’m really really sorry to everyone who’s been sending in a ton of great asks--I was really hoping to get to spend my days off from work writing up replies to them, buuuuuuut that didn’t happen.  I don’t want to go into too many personal details here just because I don’t really want to be a huge bummer, but today my roommates and I were harassed by a man coming to our house univited to try and settle an argument [that we have no part in--it started before we even moved in] that he has with our landlord [.....who does not live here].  To keep things short, the police were called twice today, and I’m still kind of a nervous mess right now, and haven’t actually sat down at my computer at all today until now [9:34pm my time].  I promise I’m going to try to get right back to answering all of the asks as soon as I can, I just wasn’t able to get to them today--or any other kind of writing/posting for that matter--because of all the personal shenanigans.  @_@

Dumb thought of the day: Blitz is jacked up on caffeine all the time that someone slips him a decaf and he just immediately passes out asleep where he stands.

THIS IS NOT DUMB AT ALL--THIS IS WHAT I SHOULD HAVE WRITTEN INSTEAD!! :D

This is one of those things that I feel like would be absolutely fucking hilarious in retrospect.....but at the time probably caused a not-so-small panic. Striker, thinking he and his galaxy brain have just cracked the code for how to get Blitz to start being able to fall asleep at night, makes the best damn cup of decaffinated coffee in the universe and sets it innocently on Blitz's desk while Blitz is in the middle of a phone call with a client. Blitz, being Blitz, thanks his dearest darlingest love of his life by sticking his tongue out at him in a playful 'blep', and then reaches for the mug while still in the middle of negotiations with the client on the phone, and takes a sip.

.....And then the client hears a little something like this:

THUNK

CRASH

"BLITZ!?!"

SLAM

"What the fuck happened?!"

"I DON'T FUCKIN' KNOW! BLITZ?! DARLIN'?!"

Thudthudthudthudthud

"Hey, are you guys alright in here?"

"What the fuck is--Sir? Sir?! Satan's ballsack DID YOU JUST FUCKING POISON HIM?!"

"NO I DIDN'T FUCKIN' POISON HIM!! I JUST MADE HIS COFFEE FUCKIN' DECAF--!"

"Yep, you poisoned him."

So basically Stolas assumed Striker left the picture when he thought Blitzø got knocked up by accident, only to realize that not only is Striker still around, but the pregnancy was planned and their relationship is stronger.

To be honest, I'm not even sure that Stolas really put enough weight into Blitz and Striker's relationship beyond thinking of it as "whatever Blitzy has going on with that other tall imp from the Harvest Moon Festival". Soooooooo yes, that is exactly right: Stolas just assumed that it was some random imp who got Blitz pregnant and that whoever it was wouldn't have stuck around to even find out about it--let alone actually be someone who Blitz was actually, y'know, in a stable relationship with. :D

I'm not going to make it set headcanon that Twist and Ty were entirely planned for ahead of time--as I think it's fun to explore both options of having them being pre-planned and having them be a happy accident and I'm ttly open to talking further about both--but I will DEFINITELY say that they were both more than wanted and loved by both Blitz and Striker as soon as they came to be. <3 <3

......Stolas is still not exactly happy about this little situation.

Oh gosh, so, if Blitzø is the one pregnant with the twins, and he still has his deal with Stolas, how do you think Stolas will react when “his” Imp starts to show?

I think that at first, Stolas might actually be kind of strangely pleased because--even though he would know that the twins aren't his--I don't think it would actually cross Stolas's mind that Blitz being pregnant = Blitz not still being as equally enthusiastic about their "arrangement". Let's be honest, Stolas doesn't seem to care much one way or another what Blitz does with his time outside of the full moon, and I'm sure that he knows that he isn't the only one out there in Hell who thinks that Blitz is hot as fuck. XD I don't thiiiiiiiiink it would particularly surprise--or even particularly offend--Stolas to find out that Blitz was sleeping with other people outside of him. And as we know from Stolas's relationship with his own daughter, I think that there's a part of him that might actually be kind of delighted to find out that his Blitzy is having little ones of his own. Twice as excited, I'm sure, when he finds out that there are two of them. :)

The thing I think Stolas is not going to be happy about, however, is when he realizes that Blitz starts behaving differently towards him during those full moon meetings where he's expected to give Stolas is complete and undivided attention. Even more so, I think Stolas is going to realize very quickly that Blitz's overall "demeanor" with him is taking a startling turn for the.....less agreeable, let's just say. Stolas wants Blitz to do what he wants, he wants Blitz to want what he wants, and he's going to be quite frankly gobsmacked when he goes to gently touch the tiny bump and Blitz straight up slaps his hand away from him and tells Stolas fiercely, "Don't fucking touch them!!" His Blitzy is perhaps reluctant at times to partake in certain activities, but he's NEVER dared to outright refuse him before--and certainly not with aggression like that!! Then again, perhaps that in and of itself could just be chalked up to growing parental protectiveness--which again, Stolas can definitely understand in regard to the twins--but suuuuurely his darling Blitzy would never think that he, Stolas, would harm them??

.....Though the one who sired them becomes quickly more debatable when Stolas realizes that his Blitzy's thorny attitude towards him extends not just from his protectiveness for his new twins-to-be, but also from a startling amount of loyalty and.....affection......for the one he's having them with. Stolas hadn't realized that Blitz and Striker's relationship was quite at THAT level before, and just assumed that this was a purely accidental thing and that Striker would just move right along and not be involved in the picture more than he already had. He hadn't intended on his Blitzy expecting him, Stolas, to work around Blitz and Striker's relationship, instead of Blitzy being the one to work around his relationship with Striker in order to continue keeping things as they were with Stolas. So I think the overall answer to this question is: Not as happy as he first thought. :3
