Nagito finds the letter left on the table and passes out after reading the first sentence, then wakes up to read the rest and almost passes out a second time but holds strong, leaning on the table on one arm for support while white-knuckled gripping the paper in his other hand. He takes a few deep breaths to calm himself. Bringing your letter close to his face and breathing in its scent. He fully calms down enough now, going to get his own pen and paper to write a reply and leaving it on the table.

You come home to find it laying on the table just how you left your letter. You open it to find Nagito’s neat handwriting stating the following; 

“Happy Thanksgiving, my dearest Hope ‪‪❤︎‬. I hope this letter finds you in high spirits, if not, I hope that my words can do the best to try to cheer you up. It saddens my heart to know that you despair had you in its clutches once, though it is selfish of me to say this but I am truly glad that I was able to pull you out of it. I can only keep on Hoping that I continue to do the same for you, to bring out that light and love that resides in your own heart. I know that you have so much love and warmth inside of you, if I could only be the one to receive it all, haha.. Now that would be extremely selfish of me to deny the rest of the world the chance to meet you.

I am still happy that you chose me to cherish. I love you so much, my dear and I will always love you forever.

Once you finished reading the letter, you felt arms wrapped around your waist. Nagi rested his chin on your shoulder, nuzzling his cheek against yours as his voice whispered out to you. “You’re so cute, my love, leaving that letter for me to find… Too embarrassed? Shy? Haha, well..” He squeezed you a little bit, “Too bad, I don’t plan on letting you run away and hide from me this time ❤︎”

i used a combo of After Effects and CapCut!!!

for the more complicated shots i took a picture and animated it

put those frames into after effects & made it into a pre-comp, and then took the pre-comp and made it into a puppet that moves

and CapCut lets you do all sorts of effects and transitions, pretty much everything is pre-made and some settings for effects and transitions can be adjusted (some, not all) it even has filters and text effects

it did take maybe 10 hours minimum because i'm still learning stuff and it was also a decently long little fancam lol
