i think, the way ppl liking izzy can bias them to overly favorable interpretations, people disliking izzy can lead to the most unhinged readings of his character. like, i can tell you hate him and want him tortured when you talk about how hes the most evil and manipulative and homophobic character on the show, because you say that. and then you say you wish he was tortured. and its like. well, i usually assume ppl come at this in good faith or they come at this with some sort of possibly neutral opinion. i’ve seen takes i disagree with but i’m like. youre not calling fans rapists so like. thats a bonus. but then there’s takes where you have to go… hmm. maybe you are being a little bit uncharitable here, because you have a hatred for this character for upsetting your little guy.

So I think I've figured out what they're going to do with Izzy if they get a season three!

They'll establish in the first episode that three days have passed since they buried him and then he'll resurrect!

Since his death apparently absolved Ed of his sins, he must CLEARLY be a Jesus allegory!
