Q: Why pre-order?

A: Pre-orders are a great way to help authors. Whenever you pre-order a book, you're letting that retailer know there's interest in it which helps it chart higher in retailer charts (generally speaking). This means there's a potential for it to reach more people who otherwise might miss it.

Q: Will this book be available on KU?

A: Since I'm opting for a wide release, and due to KU's exclusivity nature, I can't offer my ebooks through there while having them available elsewhere.

Q: Will this book be available on Kobo Plus?

A: Yes, it will! In case you don't know what Kobo Plus is, it's a similar subscription program to KU, except it doesn't require authors to be exclusive to the platform. This program isn't available in every country, but you can check here if your country has it. They're also adding new territories often, so keep that in mind.

Q: When will paperbacks be available for pre-order?

A: I wish I could have a concrete date, but I don't. There's a chance the paperback release will have to be postponed a week or two, but I'll keep you informed. If you're unsure which you should order, wait until I show you what the paperback looks like so you can make your choice!

Q: Will you have ARC reviewers for this release?

A: I will only have eARC reviewers available, and you can sign up for it here if you're interested! All the information is there, but if you have extra questions/concerns feel free to reach out and I'll reply as soon as I can.

Hey guyyyyys…

If all goes well, I should be able to publish 7 Days for Fae in the next month or two!! This is my figuring things out book so I am still working on people knowing it exists, which currently means (1) hoping the local bookstore approves my request to order it, (2) letting my therapist recommend it to parents she knows, and (3) posting about it here.

I haven’t talked about it much on tumblr because I was done with the first few drafts before I found writeblr, so if you don’t remember it’s this one:

A middle grade book about a 10-year-old autistic girl (who also has a neurological disability) navigating life as she struggles in school, makes a new friend, tests her own limits, and has to find a way to communicate with her well-meaning but ignorant aunt. Featuring supportive parents and a b-plot about her nonbinary parent and the adults who are weird about that.

Most of my writing buddies on here are more in the adult genre of interests, but I would really appreciate people sharing this post so that parents or teachers or anyone interested might see it. (Follow me for updates or if you don’t want to be following me feel free to send me a message/ask to be told when it is available)

🎉🎉i finished a project last night!🎉🎉

i finished editing and revising a years old novella titled the pen and the sword, a 19k story i've been wanting to finish for years!! it's a cozy fantasy about this:

prince sternard doesn't want the throne. he's been perfectly happy staying away from home with his army for years, but when the palace falls to disease, he must return home and replace his cruel father on the throne. there, he meets the only survivor of the epidemic, a stiff but bright secretary named cecil. as sternard and cecil work to rebuild the palace from the tragedy and the echoes of his father's tyranny, sternard finds himself settling into his new life with much more ease than he anticipated--and all because of the brilliant secretary with an increasing hold on his heart.

i hope someday to publish a series of my scattered novellas, and this is the first! i'm so very happy with how it turned out, and pleased that this is my first official finished project of 2024.

Hello, writeblr! This is my first time on Tumblr, but I'm a writer migrating over from the writing community on Twitter. Since Twitter is dying, I'm hoping to make new friends and figure out how things are done here!

I'm a fantasy writer! I've written eighteen books (a mix of standalone and series) and published absolutely nothing because my mental health is wobbly! I'm looking for friends and people to kick my butt until I start writing again! I just had a baby and my brain doesn't work! Yay!
