Healing and Inner Strength Spell:

[Hello everyone. With the events in America yesterday I thought that I would repost my healing and inner strength spell - with a few extra photos.]

This is an idea I came up with last summer and I have had running ever since. It is a type of magical battery. The idea of this is to create an object which can charge itself and transmute energy for a long period of time, so that it can be working without you having to put active intent into it.

Ingredients:

a box, jar or other container suitable for long term use

the tarot card strength, or other suitable oracle card (we are going to be writing on this so I suggest printing out an image of it, drawing it yourself, or just use plain paper).

a pen (use coloured ink with healing connotations)

a clear quartz point (a white pebble, sea glass or other quartz crystals will also work)

a piece of rosey quartz (amethyst would also work well)

a dried bay leaf (for strength and wish granting)

a dried olive stalk (for peace and healing)

a piece of wax from Candlemass (could just use white candle wax or omit)

a piece of light blue ribbon or other appropriate colour (white, pale yellow etc)

Method:

Make sure you start with yourself already cleansed and grounded, and cleansed items.

Take your box or other container, make sure it is clean and empty - cleanse it with your preferred method - I used smokey quartz and salt.

Take the Strength card (I used a print out from The Raven Prophecy Tarot, I love the imagery on this card as it shows a fist clenched in determination.) On the back, write a small phrase with your intent (this is the part of the spell which is being charged). I used the phrase: “please transform this energy into healing and strengthening energy”.

Then draw a sigil directly below this, my sigil is for “healing energy”. You could use this one, draw your own, or draw a corresponding picture. I used a gold permanent marker for extra oomph. You could also choose a corresponding colour to your intent.

Fold this card in half, and place in the bottom of your container. Use a wand, piece of selenite or your finger to draw a spiral starting in the centre, and moving in a clockwise fashion over the card.

After this, place the crystals in opposite sides of the container. If using a quartz point, have the point facing inwards. Clear quartz is an amazing energetic battery and amplifier, whilst rosey quartz is great for unconditional love. You can swap rosey quartz for other healing crystals. Make sure the crystals are charged and cleansed before using.

Next, gather your other ingredients. This are the items which help to transmute the energy from the crystals and yourself into healing and strengthening energy. I used a dried bay leaf (for wish granting and positivity) and a dried olive stem (for peace and healing). You can use any herbs and plants that have the same connotations, just make sure you’re using properly dried herbs as they will be in a sealed container.

I also used a piece of wax from this years’ Candlemass service (for peace, positivity, healing and hope). You could also use a piece of white candle wax from a candle burnt with healing/hopeful intentions.

After all the items are in the container, twirl in a circular motion over the open box, you can use a piece of selenite, your finger or a wand. Whilst doing this, focus on setting your intention. For me this was “I send healing energy to myself, to mother earth and to those who need and deserve it”, I then said the same for strengthening energy.

Once this is finished, close the box and tie with a light blue ribbon, tie loosely in a bow rather than a binding type knot so that the healing energy can still move out.

Place on a shelf, cupboard, desk, or altar and leave to do it’s work. Place on a windowsill during each full moon to charge the magical battery. Alternatively, you can draw circles over the top with a selenite piece every few weeks.

I hope this is helpful! The instructions look quite complex and scary but I think that the method is quite simple and straight forward. Magic is an intuitive process so just do what feels right to you.

Anxiety Reduction Crystal Elixir

What you will need:

- A jar

- Moon Water

- Amethyst

- Clear Quartz

- Rose Quartz

- Citrine (optional)

Hi guys :) As some of you may know I have an anxiety disorder. While I advocate for professional treatment (if your budget allows it), I also love the idea of using witchcraft in addition to other methods for helping myself cope!

So onto the elixir!

I came up with this when thinking about my own anxiety. I used waxing crescent moon water to help myself with personal growth. Here’s the ‘recipe’!

1. Place your moon water into a jar (I used one I got from Dave and Busters, any jar will work!). The moon water I used for this recipe was fro a waxing crescent.

2. Add in the rose quartz (for self love), clear quartz (the master healer) and amethyst (for fighting anxiety). In addition to this you may also add in citrine (for happiness and positivity). Please note that before you ever make any sort of crystal elixir to look up the solubility of your crystals and minerals in water. Some may become damaged, others can be toxic! This specific elixir is meant to go on the skin, not to be ingested.

3. Very lightly, swirl the water with your fingertip and repeat “my anxiety cannot bring me down”.

4. When you feel anxious, dab a little water on your forehead to ward off the unhappy and unwanted thoughts.

Even in Death

Have a crappy fictional story I wrote back in 2010. Whoever wants to help me continue you is welcome, I have a second part but it kinda sucks also.

She stood in the rain under the weeping willow where her beloved’s body used to lie. After his death six years ago she met his ghost on the Anniversary of his death every year. She was only sixteen at the time, and he had just turned seventeen. She remembered it like it was yesterday. It was October 31st, better known as Halloween and his birthday. His death took place at midnight, Halloween night. Standing in the pouring rain, was a tall boy with long black hair, piercing sad deep blue eyes and pale skin. He was dressed in head to toe black, holding a dagger that reflected the beauty of the moonlight. He was holding back his tears behind the hues of his eyes. He sat alone, staring at the dagger. “It was all for you…” His whispered to himself, “it was all for you…” he kept repeating. He held up the dagger, “Here’s to love…” he said in his hushed, desperate voice and took a deep breath as he stabbed the dagger into his heart. She snapped out of her flashback and looked around the graveyard.

“William?” she called through the pouring rain, it was five seconds away from midnight. One… two… three… four… five… The sky turned a deep black, the air turned as cold as ice, the moonlight turned to a dull glow along with the stars. She smiled as once again, he came.

A white figure appeared behind her, as the moon and stars started to glow brightly once again. “Wil…” She turned around.

His pale face had a slight smile. “Evelyn…” He whispered.

Evelyn smiled, “you made it…” she murmured.

“I wouldn’t miss it even for death.” He said softly.

Evelyn looked up at the stars, “I miss you.” She sighed.

“I miss you every second…” He said quietly.

Evelyn looked back at him, “If you had a choice to come back, would you?” She asked emotionless.

He stayed silent for a few seconds, “yes.” He finally answered. “If I had it to do all over again, I would have never done this to you…” He looked towards the trees.

Evelyn sighed, “After all this time you still blame yourself?”

He looked into her emerald green eyes, “I’ve never stopped.”

She held out her hand as if she wanted to touch his, “none of this… is your fault.” She promised him.

William smiled at her, “we have this argument every year, do we not? Neither of us ever wins.”

Evelyn pushed a lock of hair behind her ear, “You’re right…” She laughed quietly with any humor. “Happy birthday,” she said.

William laughed darkly, “This night stands for so many things… Good and bad.”

Evelyn nodded sadly, “I know…”

He looked at her, “you look more beautiful each night.”

Evelyn laughed, “believe it or not, after six years I still haven’t gotten tired of being told that.”

His ghostly face brightened (however that is even psychically possible), “good. And after six years, I haven’t gotten tired of saying it.” He told her quietly, with a bit of a smile in his hushed voice.

Evelyn shivered and sat by a grave reading “William Alexander Maxwell, 10.31, 1983 – 10. 31, 2000” and stared up at the stars again. “The stars are beautiful tonight,” she said.

“Not as beautiful as you,” he told her.

She blushed. “I love you, William.”

He smiled, “I love you, Evelyn.” And then just as she expected like every year, he faded away into the stars.

Anti-Stress Bath

Hi Everyone,

With finals coming up i thought i’d share a few things that help with anxiety, and stress. I will be posting blogs about this probably till finals are over. This can also be translated to if you only have a shower, which ill mention in a other post.

What you will need:

Lavender/African Violets

Lavender/Rose Oil (Not Essential but Body.)

Epsom Salt

White Candles

Optional:

Chamomile Tea for drinking while your in there.

Lavender Essential Oil

(Make sure your not allergic to any of these products before using them.)

Process:

Run the Bath Water super hot, Place the Lavender, and African Violets In the water. (If you choose to use Essential oil, also put a 3-4 drops in.)

Wait till it cools to where its bearable, and put in two cups of epsom salt, and mix it around, and let it dissolve. Wait another 5 min.

Grab your candles, and light them. While lighting them say something like,”With this i’ll watch my stress disappear.” (Up to you what you want to say.) Then turn off the lights, and place the candles around, or on the ledges of the bathtub.

Get in the tub, and imagine the anxiety/stress like dirt on your body, use the water, and your energy as a way to wash away those impurities.

You can chill as long as you want in the tub, and relax. (If you brought chamomile tea, i suggest you drink it.)

When you get out, and dry off. Use the Lavender/Rose oil, and rub it into your skin.

After:

If you don’t want herbs going down your drain, depending on what drain you have, you can utilize a tea strainer you no longer use to catch them. I highly suggest people do this before they go to bed, do to the dream/relaxing nature of the herbs.

why is it more likely Sanders was the zodiac killer?

Preliminary Wikipedia-level research tells us that the Zodiac Killer’s period of activity is confirmed to have extended from 1968-1969, but speculation places the first murders as early as 1963. Excluding that 1963 murder (which occurred while Sanders was still enrolled in college in Chicago) every Zodiac murder fits on a timeline that does not preclude Sanders as a suspect.

However, we can still account for that unconfirmed 1963 murder when we consider that Sanders was actively traveling at the time - he participated in the March on Washington for Jobs and Freedom on August 28, 1963, but his whereabouts were unaccounted for on June 4, 1963 when Robert Domingos and Laura Edwards were murdered (presumably by the Zodiac Killer) in Gaviota, California. The University of Chicago does not have record of Sanders participating in any summer enrollment at that time, and summer break was well underway - Sanders had ample opportunity to travel to Gaviota and commit the crime.

Following his graduation from the University of Chicago in 1964, there is a period of time in which it is difficult to track Sanders’ movements throughout the country. Vermont news source ‘The VT Digger’ even notes specifically that

“One period of his life, the years from 1964 to 1971, however, has been left unexplained.”

It wasn’t until the mid-to-late 70s that Sanders became recognizable as the politician we know now. In the intervening years, verbal record puts him at some point on a kibbutz ‘somewhere in Israel’, though a reporter with Forward has been unable to uncover exactly which kibbutz - and when questioned, his campaign did not provide clarification.

Property records place him back in the United States at some point in 1964, but those are far from definitive proof of location. He was in the United States between 1966 and 1971, the Zodiac Killer’s speculated period of activity after the initial (suspected) activity in 1963.

What years are unaccounted for in Sanders’ publicly available history? Of course, 1964-1971 - after which he aligned himself with the Liberty Union Party and made a number of attempts at public office. Why the sudden foray into the public sphere?

It seems simple enough: Sanders is the Zodiac Killer, and he knew he was close to being caught. Where better to retreat to than Vermont? How better to establish his alibi than as an anti-war public figure? Even so, he continued to taunt the police well into the early 1970s, finally going silent in 1974 as he made his first bid for a Senate seat and succumbed to the pressure of greater public scrutiny.

Why is it more likely that Sanders was the zodiac killer? The timeline makes sense. The opportunity was there. The motive? Who can say.

Is it really so impossible?

Oh, and as to why it’s more likely that Bernie Sanders was the Zodiac Killer as opposed to Ted Cruz, keeping in mind our 1963-1974 timeline during which the perpetrator would have had to possess significant physical strength (Sanders was a basketball star in high school) and reasonable mental acuity…

I’m not saying that I don’t think Cruz is responsible for some vast multi-level murder conspiracy, but it’s far more likely that Sanders is responsible for this one.
