the idea of public restrooms as "women's spaces" continues to confound me. you know who I hope is in a public bathroom when I go in?? no one. I would prefer no one else be in the bathroom. and if someone else is in the bathroom I am going to ignore them as much as possible. I did not go into the bathroom to connect with other women. I went into the bathroom to piss and/or shit. it's a toilet's space, not a women's space. shut the fuck up and let trans people piss and shit in peace. let's all continue to avoid eye contact with each other and any and all interaction in the toilet's space.

and if it isn’t that, then the fine arts industry right now is the best example of ‘oh how the turn tables’ i’ve ever seen.

not even 70 years ago was it that this garbage would’ve been labelled as just that: garbage. it was only when actual real performative and abstract artists from the streets started making art and getting good press from it that the rich decided it was an ‘elite’ art form because they so desperately wanted to cash in on not only its popularity, but to seem more ‘down to earth’ to us commoners by poorly emulating our art. we know this, because these days it’s rare that an actual common person gets rich off of their abstract art, it’s almost always rich people. they stole our soul and then rebranded it into some mockery of what it used to be, the fact that yall buy into it is the worst part.

yes, art is subjective, but don’t sit here and act like this poor excuse for art is worth more than the real messages you can actually fucking see from artists struggling on the street with an actual story to tell. these rich folk don’t have anything to say other than “woe is me, im just like you guys” no you’re not. you’re nothing like us. you’re the reason we have a story to begin with.

and before you say “it’s the story they’re selling!!” then write a damn book. if i wanted to buy a story about your thoughts and feelings when making a dot on paper, id buy a book about it, not something that tells me literally nothing about your idea whatsoever.

modern fine artists are nothing but rich scam artists with english majors conning other rich people into buying something they think will make them look relatable to us poor folk.
