Do you sometimes think about how yoosung only holds grudge against people who hurt his loved ones and never once holds any grudge against those who hurt him personally. Like he held grudge against jihyun because he thought jihyun was a bad bf to rika. But he seemingly doesnt hold anything against Saeran for literally BLINDING his eye. Even with his grudge against V he got worried about him when he found out that he was blinded. Im gonna be honest yoosung is wayy too kind for his own good and doesnt get enough credited for it (Even with cheritz themselves marketing him as like a very kind person)

So I was kinda getting into Pride and Prejudice because of THAT ONE rain scene. And before that i had to study that novel cuz of my honors course back in 2021.

Back then I was thinking of making a Mysme Characters as Pride and Prejudice characters post but because I couldnt find a good match in Pride and Prejudice for a couple of the important characters BUT I am 100% certain about these ones

Jaehee would be Charlotte Lucas. Jumin would obviously be Fitzwilliam Darcy

And most importantly Yoosung 100% is very similar to Charles Bingley. And this actually makes me quite happy cuz I sort of relate to Jane (who loves Bingley in the story and eventually marries him). But its also the fact that I am getting to associate what used to be my study material with my most beloved fictional characters.

Imagine if the fandom reduced Saeyoung to that time he ignore the mc and keep his distance or Saeran to when he was straight up abusing, starving and insulting the mc constantly

Feeling that it's unfair?

That's what Jumin and Yoosung fans have to deal with constantly because none of you know how to read what's in front of your eyes

Yoosung is reduced to the first two days of his route and Jumin to his bad ending and somehow it never stopped since the beginning

I love that Yoosung is so sweet and innocent, but I’m not loving that MC is always baby talking him in so many fics and treating him like a child. Like, can we not find balance in his sweetness and innocence with the fact that he is indeed a grown man?

It really really really makes me so upset when yoosung gets hate for comparitively minor things (which he also works upon and takes all accountability for once he realises that he is wrong) but certain characters who has done much much worse shit dont get even half of the criticism, Why? Cuz they have big trauma so even if they commit crimes or cause significant amount of damage to other characters its okay cuz they are traumatised and trauma makes their actions more forgivable. And to be honest the whole "trauma makes their actions more forgivable" gives me big icks cuz of personal reasons (like my own abusers have had gone through worse and i have to be the one to empathise with them while never getting any empathy myself at all) and also because i personally believe that the magnitude of the damage of the actions matter more than intention or whatever trauma that said person has been through

#i would also argue that yoosung does have trauma it's just that a lot of people don't recognize it for what it is #losing someone close to you to suicide IS traumatic #the death of someone close to you in itself can be traumatic
