a self care check-in for more things, apart from taking your medicine and eating:
shower, but if you can’t, it’s okay! try to wash your face, brush your teeth and/or groom your hair if you have the energy! if you can’t do any of the these, you can change your clothes to feel more fresh. 🍀
alternatively, you may also want to change your pad or tampon!
organize your room or the environment that you are in, even if it just means throwing some clothes in the closet to clean up your space.
is your body in any sort of pain or discomfort you may be ignoring? regardless, take some time to adjust your posture and stretch!
make sure to look after your pet(s) or your plant if you have any! caring for another living thing can help you focus your mind in the present moment and make you feel less alone.
do you need to text or reply back to anyone? maybe there is an email you need to send or an appointment you need to make, so feel free to go ahead and do that now!
to anyone who wears a binder: take it off and take a break, please!!!!
if there is anything else i’ve missed that can help you feel better and healthier, do that too!!! whether it’s calling a friend or taking a walk or a nap.
remember: you are loved and important and worthy. it will be okay, even if you don’t feel like it right now.
