Going to a small liberal arts university with really high acceptance rates is like this:

You're sitting in your room towards the end of hell month working on a ten page paper you desperately want to get done. Someone screams bloody murder outside your dorm and you look up for a second. As soon as the screaming stops you keep working on your paper and do nothing about the screaming.

The food in the only cafeteria is a biohazard and they never have enough spoons or napkins.

Mysterious rhythmic thumping on the floor above you in the dorms.

Dorm elevators, dorm trashcans in the hallways and statues on campus are all gender neutral bathrooms. It gets so bad they take away your dorm hallways trashcans and fine you if you put anything in the bathroom trashcans but paper towels.

The male sports teams commit vandalism on a regular basis.

The campus is gorgeous in a dinky town. Sometimes friendly stray cats and random groups of deer walk around campus.

You make a friend group freshman year and then one of them gets exposed for being really problematic and toxic.

The professors are amazing and will do anything to help.

It's expensive and the student housing is old. The school is in debt.

There's a not so secret society on campus that poops behind the observatory sometimes and gets up to some really racist stuff but the administration doesn't do anything because some used to be in the secret society.

You know the other day I was thinking about all the crazy world events and technological developments that have made gen z so weird. Gen z in the supernatural universe had to go through all our stuff plus multiple apocalypses and don't even realize the crazy stuff that happened every years were apocalypses.
