Cook Forest State Park was mentioned in Men's Journal today for "Best Old-Growth Forest! http://mjm.ag/2dLVXaQ
“Some of the biggest and most beautiful old growth forests belong to the Pacific Northwest, but Cook Forest State Park in northwestern Pennsylvania is an impressive exception. With 8,500 acres of white pines and towering hemlocks grown over with moss and ferns, the Cook Forest has earned itself a National Natural Landmark designation. But it's still a park — so go ahead and enjoy the 47 miles of trails and the stretch of Clarion River that you can paddle through the impressive stands of timber." ~Lauren Steele
