Apology letter - I am quitting TESblr

When I made this blog in december I was having a high for this franchise, the characters and it’s world, but that high has faded some time ago. However that is not the reason I am quitting this blog and the fandom - I am a fan of this franchise since I was a child when I first played Morrowind and I got into all the fandom stuff 6 years ago. But over the years any joy I had while interacting and consuming this fandom was sucked out and these days all I feel for it is misery, the feeling of not being welcome to enjoy the games the way I do and always have. Six years ago these games helped get through a significant low in my life and I loved it ever since and they had a huge place in my heart ever since. And I honestly no longer want my love for these games to be ruined and stained by my growing frustration with the fandom. Nothing perticular happened, I am just at my limit with the amount of bullshit I’ve seen over the last year or two and I really rather just enjoy this franchise on my own and draw fanart for myself like I used to do. So this blog has been inactive for some weeks anyway and unless I get some high again, will stay inactive. I sincerly apologize to all you people who really enjoyed this blog, but I just don’t have the energy anymore to keep going for this fandom. PS: I am not sure how it works, but I think one can give side blogs to other people - if anyone knows more about this and would like to run this blog, you are free to let me know

Thank you ~To answer your question, it’s not really anything in-game that made me go “that makes a nice dynamic!”It has more to do with the ship dynamics I usually enjoy in other media, which is “big, strong guy x annoying little shit” :DI guess there are other daedra who qualify for “big, strong guy”, but Hircine is my favourite one ~ I usually don’t really consume much shippy fancontent in TES, because most of the shippy fancontent is “hero character x NPC” and I rarely find it in myself to read such content, because the hero character is always an OC that I have to learn to care for first. Even if the ship itself is one I really like in theory.(Don’t get me wrong, I have nothing against such stories! It’s just not my cup of tea to read about OCs. Unless the OC is really damn awesome and well written, some fics even hooked me up)So searching for a ship that doesnt involve a hero character, I thought about my favourite characters and did a little mental work to figure out who would fit with whom and Hircine x Clavicus Vile is the one that made me go “FUCK YEAH, THATS THE ONE!” :DSo I made some content and had more planned, but currently my drawing muse aint TES, but I definitely wanna draw them again some time! (someone has to afterall)I MEAN if anyone has some ideas for drawings or prompts with them, I would love to hear and draw it! ~

Oh, only last year I actually played Oblivion (not like Skyrim and Morrowind which played 6 and 15 years ago respectively) and even though I already knew half the dark brotherhood plotline I STILL FELL IN LOVE, LIKE A DUMBASS!

But hey, speaks to how well the dude is written :DI saw a video in which Wes Johnson talks a bit about Lucien - when doing the lines he didn’t have any visual references to what Lucien would actually look like and he imagined some really ugly, monstrous dude. He was surprised when he finally saw Lucien and he was like: “He looks georgous!”And he also said this which I found really correct and fitting: “And then you have all these women who look at him and think ‘Oh God, he’s georgous and he has a soul of evil - the perfect man!” And I am women :^)
