Sakura Saku Latte
This cute little bag of candies came in a previous Tokyo treat box. It’s decorated with sakuras and the little candies are shaped like the flowers as well. It was all very pretty and springy~ The candies come in 4 flavours which are Cafe Latte, Strawberry Latte, Banana Latte and Green Tea Latte all in coloured wrappers to match the flavour!
Cafe Latte-I opened this pack and IMMEDIATLY spelled coffee. It was so strong. The candy was Sakura shaped and a cute pale brown colour
Surprisingly it didn’t taste as strong as it smelled. It still tasted like coffee but was also sweet and had a creaminess to it. As someone who’s not really into coffee, I actually enjoyed this a lot!
Strawberry Latte-this one was very yummy! It was probbably my second favorite. It was sweet and had way more strawberry taste than I expected
Banana Latte- This one was immediatly the most confusing to me. Is there banana coffee in Japan? Of banana hot milk drinks? If so, that’s just odd to me. This candy initially tasted like just plain artificial banana. Nothing too suprising. Then it sort of developed a sharp taste the longer I ate it? I don’t know what it was but it made the candy just taste off to me (ㆀ˘・з・˘)
Green Tea Latte- this one was so good! I!ve never had a matcha hard candy before but this was sweet and creamy and really captured a matcha latte in candy form. It was sweet, grassy and floral and I honestly loved it. I want w whole bag of just these!
The candies were really good! I don’t often eat hard candies but these would be good to have around if you do eat them often!

Hello everyone! I’m back (again) from the dead (*´∇`*)
I’m not going to go into details as to why I was gone so long because honestly it’s not that interesting or important
What is important, is this.
This is a Sakura Jelly
It was actually given to me at work by a very sweet person who said she appreciated the fact that I’m always smiling at her (〃ω〃)
But this my friends is what brought me back. It reminded me that I have a backlog of candy and a bunch of wonderful followers waiting to see it reviewed.
This jelly was wonderful. The colour was so so cute and immediatly upon opening it, I was hit with the lovely smell of cherry blossom.
As far as taste goes, it mostly tasted sweet. It was nicely floral but that was more of a background flavour to the sweetness of the jelly. Nothing exceptional but tasty none the less.
I have no idea where to find these if you want to try them, as the person who gave this to me got it from a trip to Japan, but it was yummy and if you see them somewhere of if you’re traveling try them out yourself!
Thank you all for your patience!

It’s Hi-Chew caramel apple! I’ve been looking for these since I got the email about them and I finally found a pack at my local FYE. I don’t know if they were just not sticking them in stores or what?
So, the idea is that these have a caramel outer coat and an apple inside. Neat idea right? I expected the outer coat to be real caramel and the inside to be apple hi-chew
Nope. That’s not what it is.
The outside is actually caramel flavoured hi-chew. It’s dissapointing because it’s very obviously flavoring and tastes nothing like actual caramel. It actually tastes like sweetened play doh?
The inner apple but is delicious. It tastes like a normal green apple hi-chew and is tart and delicious!
This pack will be going to Red to finish since he’ll eat just about anything (-。-;
If you want caramel apple hi-chew, don’t spend your time searching for these. Just get a pack f apple hi-chew and dip it in caramel!

I think I found a new favorite candy kit!
This is the Poppin Cookin waffle kit and it is so so cute. I purchased this on my recent trip to Disney in the Japan pavilion in Epcot. I’ve never seen the kit in person before but luckily this one is in English!
You make these adorable heart shaped waffles with little cranberries and blueberry sauce and watermelon cream and it’s adorable! I really wish that I could have this kit as a full size meal.
This was very easy to make as well! You mix up the waffle powders and press them in the little plastic mold they give you. The cranberries are made by mixing the powder with water and putting the gel in little molds. And the blueberry sauce and watermelon whipped cream were both just mixed with water to make them. Super simple which left pleanty of time to make it look cute!
This tasted really good too! The waffles still had a odd texture, but the flavours made up for it! The toppings had really unique flavours too. I’ve never seen cranberry, blueberry or watermelon in a kit. Everything tasted delicious and I would gladly eat it again!
Would you like cute waffles like these?

Today I have a new Pocky midi flavour and it’s strawberry cheesecake!
It’s cute and pink and lovely (*´∇`*)
Pocky midi comes with 3 packs of 4 short sticks with double the chocolate of normal Pocky.
This. Is. Delicious. The biscuit is your normal Pocky biscuit with a delicious chocolate that tastes of strawberries with a tangyness I assume is the cheese. I wouldn’t neccisarily guess strawberry cheesecake, but it was still really good! Because of the cheese, it wasn’t overly sweet and had a more complex taste.
If you can get your hands on this I would absolutly reccomend it! It’s super yummy and makes a lovely snack ٩(^‿^)۶

Today I have Meiji’s Minoko no Yama in chestnut flavour~
Chestnut is a really common fall flavour in Japan so you’ll wind up seeing it in tons of snacks and these biscuit chocolates were no exception. Even that packaging was cute and decorated with fall colours
They’re super cute and look like tiny mushrooms with the stalk part being a buttery biscuit and the cap being flavored chocolate!
The very top was a milk chocolate. It wasn’t super strong of flavorful which in this case was good because it didn’t overshadow the chestnut flavour
The chestnut chocolate was warm and nutty. It vaguely reminds me of a peanut butter flavor but there’s a disctinct difference in the taste that makes it diffrent. It stands out from other nut tastes and is very good!
The biscuit was pretty standard, but very tasty either way.
If you’re interested in trying something chestnut flavoured I would go for it! There’s pleanty on sale right now! This snack would really make a good chestnut snack to start with! It’s simple and yummy and great for the fall season!
What fall flavours do you enjoy?

I’ve had plenty of Meltykiss. I’ve tried chocolate, strawberry, milk tea, green tea and vanilla.
And now, I’ve also tried rum raisin.
I’ve tried rum raisin ice cream before, and I really really like that. The reason? Because in ice cream, the alcohol is cooked out.
These chocolates have alcohol in them. It actually has 3.7% alcohol which is not enough to get drunk off of, but it’s certainly enough where you can taste it, and it tastes STRONG.
The chocolate was ok when you could get it without the boozy filling but taking a bite of this had the same burn as a shot of liquor would. It was just...bad. I think as a candy this was way to strong and the burn lasted longer because you had to chew it up.
Maybe try this if you really like rum? But otherwise I would skip this candy.

The other treat I got from the Hello Kitty Cafe Truck was these little cakes. They came in a cute little pink box and also all had diffrent flavours.
White:
This one was hello kitty. She had a little white chocolate bow and her outfit was also white chocolate. This was an almond cake with a light pink strawberry frosting in between the layers. The frosting was light but could still be tasted over the almond cake. It was very very sweet, but still good
Blue:
This had the same almond cake with a thin layer of raspberry jam between the layers. The cake on this one seemed a little dryer and the raspberry jam was overpowered by the almond cake. It wasn’t great compared to the other cakes. The white chocolate bow was nice though.
Green:
This one had the same almond cake as the first two with a pale yellow filling. I couldn’t taste the filling at all, even separating the cake and eating the filling by itself didn’t help me figure it out, but it was still ok. It wasn’t as dry as the blue one which was an improvement, but it was still just ok.
Brown:
This was chocolate! Both the cake and filling were a super yummy chocolate. It was rich and melty and delicious. Much like with the macaroon, it was a stronger and slightly darker flavour than you would get from a chocolate candy and it was so good!
It seems like the cakes were more hit or miss than the macaroons. The ones I liked were really really good, and if they could improve the other two, this would probbably be worth it!

One of the adorable treats I got at the Hello Kitty Cafe Truck was these super cute Hello Kitty macaroons! They come in a sweet little Hello Kitty box and each macaroon is decorated. Most have little chocolate bows on top, but the white one had Hello Kitty’s face! Each one was a diffrent flavour too so I’ll be talking about each one. (๑>◡<๑)
White:
This was the cutest, looking like Hello Kitty’s little face. It had a vanilla filling, which is what I was expecting, but the vanilla flavour was super strong and sweet. It was very tasty, though I am glad this didn’t have a white chocolate bow, as I think it would have been too much
Red:
This was filled with raspberry jam! I predicted it would be strawberry but honestly I think raspberry turned out better! It’s tart and yummy and the sweet cookie dosent overpower the filling. They go really well together as the perfect combination of sweet and tart!
Orange:
Another good and very unexpected flavour! It was grapefruit! This was really bright and citrusy and had a real sour and tart punch. It was another perfect pairing where the sweet cookies and bright filling went together super well!
Green
This one was pistachio which was a little dissapointing. I was really hoping it would be green tea. The pistachio was still good. It had a nice nutty flavour which was tasty, but didn’t stand out much from the almond cookies. Good, but not the best
Blue:
This last one had a chocolate filling! The chocolate was a rich dark chocolate that really stood out. Nice and strong and chocolatey.
This whole pack was super yummy and a good snack to have with tea. I can’t even pick a favorite! They were just so good! I would actually reccomend them to anyone. I also know that at other stops, the packs had diffrent Sanrio characters instead of Hello Kitty, so I have to wonder if they had diffrent flavours too. I’ll just have to go back next time they’re in my area and find out!
Which one do you want to try?

This is Pocky Brazilian Orange!
I found it in a candy shop and thought it was just so unique!
The package looks so fun and tropical and the Pocky itself was a super pretty orange colour
As far as taste goes, I thought these were delicious! I didn’t expect a lot of citrus flavour, but these were super orangey! They were only lightly creamy and had a good citrus zing.
These were really unique and I would actually really reccomend them! They’re very yummy and a nice twist on the snack :3

I’ve been super into making slime recently so I figured it was time to pull out the slime candy ヽ(´▽`)/ This is called Henshin Slime and I purchased it from Candysan. It’s a candy kit loosely inspired by Neri ame, an old school Japanese candy. The kit was very easy to put together! You add water with the provided measuring cup then add a yellow powder first, then a blue powder and mix it up! Once the blue powder is mixed in it becomes super thick and stretchy so you can use the popsicle sticks to play with it. It’s actually super fun and I spent a good 10 minutes stretching and pulling the slime candy ( ´∀`) It was super fun to eat too! The flavour was ramune which is not bad, but the fun part was the texture. It was chewy, almost like melted gummy candy! I thought it would have the same marshmallow texture as nerunerune, but nope! This was so much better! Honestly this was a super fun kit that I would reccomend to anyone! Hopefully with how popular slime is, this will become more accessible in the states! Do you like slime?

This is a really adorable snack! It’s Baskin Robins Love Potion #31 chocolate. It comes in a cute pink box covered in hearts. Inside are individually wrapped chocolate hearts in pink wrappers. These chocolates are filled with a pink fluffy filling and a raspberry sauce and coated with creamy milk chocolate. The combination of raspberry and chocolate is super yummy and I’m a big fan. I have no idea if it tastes like the ice cream flavour as I’ve never had it but if it does, I may have to get some. These chocolates were delicious and could actually make a cute gift for a friend or parter ヽ(´▽`)/

These cute snacks are Anpanman Festival Rice Puffs! They are cute doll festival colours and have two flavors, salt and white honey. The green is salt. They’re delightfully salty and kind of corny like most puffed snacks. These were super good! On the other hand the pink and white were white honey. I wasn’t as big a fan of these. They were lightly sweet but in a way that I could barely taste the sweetness. They just tasted bland to me. Either way, the snack was very cute and the salty ones made it worth it. I don’t know if I would buy it again, but I would by a just salty version XD

I have a short one for you today This is a Sweet Sake Kit Kat It’s a white chocolate Kit Kat wrapped in super elegant gold wrapping. This one is sweet and delightful. At first it tastes like white chocolate which is allready good, but then you get the nice warmth that comes with alcohol which was surprisingly good! It dosent have any of the burn of liquor, just the warm after feeling. Honestly I’m a huge fan! I don’t know if this one contains actual alcohol (They have made kit kats with trace amounts before) so tread cautiously if you prefer not to have alcohol in your life, but if that’s no factor to you, I would highly reccomend trying these

Happy Fourth of July everyone! Since most people are outside barbecuing for real, I figured it was finally time to try a kit I’ve been sitting on for some time The Kracie hamburger diy kit This offers a diy snack that’s not candy! It’s supposed to be savory! I needed to try! But before I could eat it, I had to make it. These instructions were harder to understand than normal. I actually used google translate and I watched tutorials to make sure I did everything right. First I made the fries which had a weird texture but otherwise seemed normal ish Then it came time to make the burger. It was at this point I began to think I had made a mistake in making this. The meat smelled aweful, like artificial beef , onions, and something sour. Just trust me when I say it was bad. But I pressed on. The bread didn’t have much odd to it and it smelled like buttered rolls. Another win. Microwaved both seemed fine. Or as fine as a hamburger and bun made from unknown powder could be. The cheese was mixed and flattened which seemed odd, but honestly i grew up on kraft singles so fake cheese dosent weird me out that much ƪ(˘⌣˘)ʃ Last was the soda which bubbles and fizzed and was very fun! Finally I just assembled the burgers and it was time for the taste test! So. How was it... It was... Actually kind of good ٩( ᐛ )و It was actually savory which is diffrent and neat. The fries were potato like. They had the taste and texture of mashed potatoes that had been cooked long enough to make solid fry shapes. Not something I’d eat everyday but still not bad. The soda was cola and overly sweet making it taste like melted cola gummies which I loved! And the fizzing is always neato And the burgers were good! The buns were sweet and delicious, the cheese didn’t add much flavour and the burger itself actually reminded me of some very good vegan hamburgers in taste and the texture just wasn’t bad at all like some kits are! I even liked the ketchup which for me is a feat since I usually don’t like anything with Tomatos. This was a really fun kit to put together and the actual tastes was one of the best. If you can get your hands on one I would absolutly reccomend it! I hope you all have a fun holiday and please be safe!
