As a timid kid myself seeing Gohan go from crybaby to chasing after a terrified T-Rex with a sword inspired me and stuck with me all these years. It’s still one my favorite parts of DBZ!

Rest in peace, Akira Toriyama. I’m absolutely gutted.

I don’t really know what to say, man. Toriyama inspired me to be an artist to begin with, to take it seriously for the first time. I filled notebooks and sketchbooks to the brim with terrible knockoffs of his art as a kid.

I’m not usually so hurt by this stuff. This one’s rough.

Toriyama has still been effecting everything I draw to this day, man. I’ve had a night to sleep on it and hours to think on it and I’m still just in disbelief and bummed
