It’s about trusting your choices for composition and light. This means that you can’t hope you got the shot or just re-shoot. Film is not to be wasted. You are shooting in the moment and what you are recording on film cannot merely be deleted or re-taken. You have to be alert and aware of your surroundings, think on your feet and wait for the exhilarating feeling of developing your negatives and your photos.
