i'm always hung up on how shadow could've killed them. like, he didn't suddenly become the ultimate lifeform after taking a 50-year-long nap, you know? he ALWAYS had those powers and that strength. those soldiers chasing him through the ark would've been easy for him to take out. but he didn't. he didn't fight. he just ran. why? because it's wrong to kill? because he didn't think THEY would kill maria? because he didn't WANT to kill them? fascinating. maybe he'd never known violence before that moment. maybe he didn't even think about it.

Kinda slay how full of rage this feels😭 whoever painted this was channeling his downfall and used their own blood as an offering

i cant get over the king charles portrait. they made that thing to age in his place. that painting hangs in the house of a too-friendly family you find in the post apocalyptic wasteland who inexplicably has a ready supply of fresh meat. if mario jumped into that painting he wouldn't find a charming platformer he would be flayed and hanged like a medieval criminal by an unseeable force in a droning red void. that painting is a color blindness test for people who work in IT but believe in the divine right of kings. that painting is going to weep the sequel to blood. after he dies charles is gonna crawl outta that thing like sadako.

#idk what the artist was thinking #but when i first saw it i was like okay this has to be conveying some sort of hatred or negative emotion #at the same time painting a commission for a coloniser isnt great so idk maybe it was just a weird artistic choice made to show happiness or #something #idk

Gotta vent. But on instagram my drawing of bluey and her future kid has been getting some attention, more than I'm used to on insta. and I'm so so grateful for that and all the likes and nice comments. But then I see stuff like "her eyes are creepy" "why are her feet so big??" And I suddenly revert back to that really shy nervous artist that was scared to show anyone anything. Like. I get its the internet and I understand that, I'm not gonna let this take over my life, but I would be lying if I said it didn't hurt. Like now I look at something I was once pretty proud of and wonder "is there something I'm just not seeing??? Does this actually kinda flop???" Anywayyy😭😭 how yall doing
