Miroslava and Arman {I am Dragon}

My favorite scenes 😍

background: Years ago the village was terrorized by a dragon, so in order to appease it the villager sacrificed woman as brides to the it. But after Otets Nevesty’s lover was taken and subsequently killed by the Dragon he kills it in turn. Now years later the village is joyful and flourishing as they hold a wedding for the princess Miroslava and Otet’s grandson Ignor. For the marriage they pay homage to their past and model it after the dragon summoning ritual and sing the dragons song that previously summoned the dragon. But it’s fine since no dragon right? Well a dragon does come and takes her back to the island. Upon awaking there she meets a man who we find out is the dragon. Well…the son of the previous dragon slayed by Otets. He’s lived on this island alone and tried to control the dragon within him. But since they sang the song he turned and couldn’t control the dragon. Now the two of them are stuck on the island together! Miroslava and the Dragon who she names Arman begin to bond and fall in love. Meanwhile Ignor is coming to save her but will Miroslava want to be saved?

Bride napper

Just like previous sacrifices Miroslava is sent aloft in a conoe on a lake as the the villagers sing the dragon song. Except this time the conoe has a rope tied to to it and ignor uses it to pull her to him. It’s sort of like walking down the isle. But all of sudden a dragon arrives and Miroslava is kidnapped. 7:30 & 13:20

Arman

When Miroslava arrives she thrown in a pit and she meets a man who’s on the other side of a wall. There’s only a a small hole they can talk and see each other through. Miroslava and this man begging to build a repour as she’s under the impression they’re both prisoners of the dragon. When Miroslava finds out he’s without a name she gifts him on Arman. 22.33

Foraging the wreckage

Surprise! Arman is the dragon and after some rough moments between the two were at a good spot! Miroslava is trying to help Arman be human and when Arman gives Miroslava a room she decides they need to decorate! Arman doesn’t see the point but Miroslava says if they’re going to be human it’s a must! So together they forage the water for goods that have washed ashore! Miroslava and him decorate and dress up! 53:37

The wind

After Miroslava reveals that ignor may not be coming since the dragon interrupted their nuptials he takes the initiative to helps her see the wind. Since he’s a dragon he can see it and with that he helps her send her dragon kite into the sky and while doing that they get a little close 🥰 1:12:48

Kidnap me!

It’s Miroslavas second wedding to Ignor. Although I hate the wedding she is so beautiful 😍. Anyway as ignor is pulling her on the conoe like the first time she sits up and says that she’s out and she is in love with the dragon. Now people are appalled but Ignor is butt hurt and still tries to pull her to him. Now thank god, she unties the conoe and frees her self and he falls down. HA. Then Miroslava sings the dragon song herself. Everyone is scared and their relieved for a moment that it’s seems like he isn’t coming but he does and takes Miroslava away! 1:30:37

Kiss the dragon

Miroslava is taken to the pyre all the previous sacrifices were taken to and killed. But we’ll this doesn’t work because Miroslava kisses the dragon in an act of love and acceptance that she loves all of Arman even the dragon. 1:35:47

A happy beginning

Miroslava, Arman, their daughter and the animal thingy (I literally can’t find a name for it 😂) all live together blissfully on the island. Life is good and at the end Arman transforms and gives Miroslava a ride around the island. He’s finally able to freely transform! 1:38:07

Squid Games 🦑

All the Games

background: The premise as told to the contestants, was to give individuals with money issues a “last chance” of sorts, to play games for loads of money. But the stakes are higher than the contestants initially thought because not only are they being used for entrainment for higher up VIPS but if they lose they die.

Red Light Green Light

This was the first game and watching this gave me a heart attack. So there’s this giant robotic little girl that’s facing a tree that says green light and then red light and then she turns and checks to make sure. The robot has motion sensors in her eyes and if you move she shoots you. This was tricky cause I mean even if you stop you could stumble which happens to Mc Gi-hun who thankfully was saved by Ali. But many others weren’t this lucky. Just this round 255 out of 456 die. Ep 1 - 14:59

Honey comb

The players have to carve out the image pushed into the dried honey uncracked in a certain amount of time. Plus they all get different icons that they’ve chosen prior to being informed what the game was. So now some have a triangle meanwhile others have a umbrella. I would definitely die. Ep 3 - 30:13

Tug Of War

This one had me on the edge of my seat! Crazy. So the groups are split in teams of ten like had to gather prior to finding out the game. The two chosen groups are placed on two separate elevated platforms across from each other. Each member of both teams is chained to the rope and to win you have to pull the other team off their platform. Then the masked fellows will cuts the rope letting the losing team fall to their deaths. Ep 4 - 40:07

Marbles 😭

This broke my heart. The group has to split off in teams of two, who do you choose when you pair up? Usually the person you trust the most. Well guess what! You have to go against them and only one lives. 🙄 So not only did Ali die because Sang-woo is an asshole but the sweet old man Oh II-nam (before I knew he was a dick) and Sae Byeok’s partner Ji-yeong. But we still have Sang-woo and Deok Su 😡 Ep 6 - 13:40

Glass tiles

The contestants pick a number between one and sixteen before they know what the games is. Then they are brought to a platform with two parallel glass tiled bridges connecting them. The game is this, you hop from one tile to the next to reach the other side. Simple! No. Some tiles are normal glass, which means you die or tempered, it can hold your weight. There’s also a time limit, sixteen minutes and the contestants go according to their number so you follow the leader. If that person falters and doesn’t want to move you could run out time be eliminated aka killed. Then there’s the fact that if your first your basically playing Russia roulette. So nooo for me. Ep 7 - 17:04

Squid game.

Oof okay. The game is as follows. The court is in the shape of a squid. There’s two teams offense and defense. The offense can only hop on one foot outside the lines while defense can use both feet within them. If offense passes inside the body through the waist of the squid they can use both feet too. Then the teams duke it out and once a member of the offensive team taps their foot on the circle above the squid head they win. This game is the final show down between Gi-hun and Sang-woo. After Sae-Byeok’s death at the hands of Sang-woo dude I’m so over Sang-woo’s shit. He’s lost his mind and I’m so relieved he lost but I only wish Sae-Byeok got to live and win 😭 Ep 8 - 0:49

Why is he so selfless😭

When Eda goes to her next art class her teacher is very disappointed with her for skipping. Eda feels terrible about herself and loses some hope. Kerem consoles her and he comes to the realization that he is standing in her way. So he goes to Eda and tells her they need to break up. I hated that. But also why is Kerem the man I never knew I needed😂 He truly just wants Eda’s happiness. This season he truly stole my heart! S2 Ep 3 41:26

The Runaway Bride

Eda is getting married. Dear god no. Her mom and dad are pushing for it much to Eda’s annoyance. But since she doesn’t want to hurt her parents and she’s not with Kerem she just resigns herself. BUT at the engagement party Kerem pulls up (thanks to sinans tip off) on his motorcycle and they run off together. S2 Ep 5 29:12

On their little adventure when deciding what to do Kerem asks Eda to marry him and she says yes! S2 Ep 6 4:40

Both

So these two broke up and so did the group. Everyone went their separate ways and during these years Kerem became a criminal justice lawyer and Eda a graphic designer in NY. When Kerem shows up, Eda makes an excuse to go to kitchen (to get away) and Isik made one so he could too. They start talking and Eda asks why he came, to see her or Isik? Kerem throws the question back and she says both. She said wanted to “face up to how stupid” she was back then”. They continue to talk when Kerem approaches Eda and caresses her cheek then it cuts. It’s safe to assume they’re definitely going to reconcile. Eda and Kerem still love each other after all these years 😭. S2 Ep 6 36:30
