A demonstration video I created for a team competing in the 2019 InventOR competition, showcasing their vending machine invention in a 3D environment (made with Unity and Fusion 360).
Pics of my current audio/visual music and performance project, Vosk. Using Processing, Max MSP, Pure Data, Ableton, hardware synths, and homemade instruments all at the same time (oof).

Set up a version of Constellation Overdrive at the Watershed PDX for the Mark Hosler (of Negativland) show 9/21/19 #watershedpdx #markhosler #negativland #interactive #art #kinect #processing
Got the first test case for my mini-pc printed and laser cut! Some of the parts got a little warped in the 3D printing, and I need to make some minor adjustments for the final design, but this does the trick for now! The materials used are scrap that was available, and I’ll probably choose different stuff for the final version.
Been working on a custom case for the mini PC I recently built for multimedia work and live performance. About the size of a textbook, but powerful enough for VR and most modern games! Altogether the parts cost around $700 for power comparable to a $1000+ commercial build, and I’m trying to keep it as portable and compact as possible.
Recently collaborated on this project for the Winter Lights Festival at OMSI. I was primarily in charge of the interactive video projected behind the cart, which generated virtual bubbles on people when they were on the surveillance camera!
We had a blast sharing our ^H / @dorkbotpdx collaboration with locals at @pdxwlf. Our Bubble Wagon was lit up, shooting bubbles, & projected interactive surveillance. Thanks to @hydronics, @headfullofair, @kuwala, Nolan & Melinda for withstanding the cold & all their hard work! pic.twitter.com/n7YkJboWcI
Video of “Constellation Overdrive”, my recent collaboration with Val Storm which debuted at S1-- it’s an interactive particle system using the Kinect to track hands and heads of up to 4 viewers, allowing them to directly alter the flow of particles with their movements. Made with Processing.
Some updates on the roadrunner character in Blender. Working on the UV-unwrapping, need to find a better program for the texturing than Blender though!
