This eyeball guy sold in I think 2001 or even earlier had stretchy rubber bands inside the arms and little pockets on the hands specifically so you could get a really good grip to pull him back like a rubber band and let him launch across a room!

I no longer have him and they are impossible to find I think

Finally updated Swizzle! First made in 2009 when I began communication with one of the Chiodo brothers who created Killer Klowns, Stephen said about Swizzle: Your klown character really surprised me. I didn't know what to expect judging from the fan art I've seen in the past, but your female klown is great. Twisted, scary, fun and sexy. That's a difficult combination to pull off. And you did it well. A killer smile and a killer body." This inspired me SO much as I have adored and been terrified by the movie since early childhood, so I went on to commission a mask from grandfatherladyfriend @ FA and bought a prop gun off deviantart many moons ago. I've changed her a bit since then, since Stephen said the Klowns "come from a race of slug like creatures that are a pasty white color". She has a variety of "powers", with her specialties being transformation or candy-oriented. Shrinking people with her gun and putting them in her favorite desserts, and the usual pies and cotton candy cocoons. Her giant lollipop is coated in her toxic saliva so when she beats people with it they melt into a puddle of sugary goo. One day I hope to commission an updated mask and make her outfit, props and shoes.

My demogorgon (Stranger Things) girls, Lilium (lavender) and Petal (black). They're girlfriends. (Designs based on concept art where their legs were portrayed backwards.) Lilium (2022) loves digging, coloring, decorating herself in pastel bows, and growing/drying flowers to liven up her den.

Petal (2017) loves chocolate, flesh, organs, cold, moist, dark weather and dragging new "friends" into the Upside Down. Slimy, slobbery faces are obligatory. You don't want to see them kiss. It's like a couple suction cups covered in snot

Lykoi the werewolf cat breed

So I’m not going to be arguing because I’ve seen enough from enough owners over the years to have reached this conclusion, and I’m not in well enough health to come back to this. But I’m seeing the lykoi breed get more attention around tumblr lately, and I’ve gotta speak up because the breed has a dirty little secret.

I joined the Lykoi Lovers group years ago because I loved this breed, they’re super cute! I love werewolves! However, over the years, as more people got these cats, and their cats aged up (3-5+yo is when skin issues become REALLY evident) the group turned into a horror show.

This mutation really reminds me of lemon frost in leopard geckos. In the geckos, it was the desirable appearance which CAUSED the cancerous tumors. It wasn’t something that could be bred out. Similarly, it is the werewolf appearance which causes the skin issues, cysts, pimples, bleeding in the cats. You can breed away from it… and end up with a normal looking cat with fewer skin issues. You cannot seem to keep the werewolf look AND have good skin.

Reblogging this from 12 years ago. I'm still crying at night knowing I'll never get to meet him now. I don't have many heroes left; they're all dead or turned into/got exposed as being gross awful people.

It’s amazing how much he looks like my grandfather when he was younger, here. He even wore shirts just like that :) It only makes me wish all the more that I could give Pee-Wee a great big hug. My grandfather was my hero and role model, and Pee-Wee wasn’t far behind! :)

Updated this art from 2018 of my pokemon trainer self. Main lineup is now: Garbodor, Gloom, Pumpkaboo, Banette, Alolan Grimer, Mandibuzz. A fun (read: stupid) part of my brain is that when I learn something new, with multiple levels, I only learn to the level that I find works for me, then I do that FOREVER, even if I know learning the other steps will make my life so much easier. A fun example of this is my process for creating digital art. I didn't even know the following FUN FACTS were that infuriating until other digital artists learned them about me.

I use the default brushes in Sai (like, 3 of them, max)

I almost never use more than 2 layers

My tablet model is 14 yrs old and when it's time to buy a new one I buy the same model again

I don't use the stylus eraser or any shortcuts. I click "edit/undo" in the program when I want to undo something. There's a worn shiny line on my tablet from clicking edit and dragging it to "undo" so much

Quick doodle of me with my lubber grasshoppers. I found them as they were emerging from the ground in hordes sometime in March, they're adults now and doing well on lettuce and leaf litter. They're so slow and clumsy and personable, one of my favorite species.
