Today’s post is going to be really personal because today marks one year since I started dating this guy named Donald. 

Now prior to that, Donald and I have been friends for almost four years, he’s been my closest and best friend, the one I would go to talk to about things, go on adventures, and wingman. It wasn’t till I got drunk one night that I confessed to being attracted to him and where he told me he reciprocated those feelings (I had to talk to him the next day to make sure I wasn’t dreaming about it or making it up in my head that it had gone down like that). We had things to sort out before anything and the fact that we were planning on moving in together as friends was another factor. Despite everything, we decided to say ‘fuck it’ and go for it.

A year later, I’m sitting at my computer desk in our apartment in Atlanta, Georgia. Not only did we move in together but we moved in together out of the state we grew up in to pursue our dreams to work in the film industry. While we are still struggling to get out there, we are making it work and loving our time together. He’s one of the best partners (romantically, platonicaly, work-wise) I could ever hope and dream for.

I look forward to many years ahead with him, I want to do everything in my power to make sure this relationship works and stays as healthy and wonderful as it is. ♡

I am 11 out of 20 days in and this has been a very interesting shoot. I do very much enjoy my crew and we have a good time and get things done, it's a nice feeling. A bit bittersweet knowing there's only 9 days left.

Donald and I hit the road Friday morning with Cedric in tow to drive from Atlanta to Cleveland, Ohio. It's strange being back in our hometown but nice nonetheless. Within 48 hours of us being here a lot happened already and more is about to happen! Wednesday we start working on a horror movie and will be in Ohio until the end of August. Wish us luck and hope our movie shoot goes well! :)
