I needed a break while I finish writing my Supercorp AU about the Adjudicator (perhaps the title "Interregno" sounds familiar to you), so a few days ago... I published the prologue of my next comfort fanfic on Wattpad and AO3.
Summary:
Lena has decided to take a break from L-Corp and travel to her birth mother's hometown with the intention of learning more about her own origins. To do this, she will need to leave Sam and Andrea in charge of the company while she takes the time necessary to write the memoirs of Elizabeth Walsh, but she never imagined that the stay would last longer than necessary because of that pair of blue eyes which she can't stop thinking about.
Kara is a small-town-girl who doesn't know much more than the orphanage where she grew up and the family farm she runs on the outskirts of the village. She never focused on anything other than taking care of her animals and enjoying lunches with her sister Alex until she runs into the new tenant of the hostel where she brings her milk every morning.
This is the typical plot of saturday afternoon movies on television
or simply
the story of how a city-lady labeled by the village and the local farmer whom everyone adores end up falling in love without the gossipy neighbors even thinking about such a possibility.
Farmer Kara can give you a handmade cheese at any time.
Cruel Summer & August by Taylor Swift inspired this comfort fic.
