Friends still unknown, I am a butterfly-loving person. Something about these creatures makes my soul stir and jump with happiness. I would like to talk about butterflies all day, but unfortunately I don't have anyone who would like or be able to stand to hear me talk about this subject for any length of time. Have you ever felt this way too? As if the people around you don't make a point of understanding your feelings? Well, anyway, here are some of the butterflies I've come across when I've gone out looking for them.

explorer academia: dimly lit candle lanterns, ancient fossils and dusty books, tucked away structures that have been run down over the years, loose shirts and beige vests, anthropology classes, archeology, camping, soft sand that blows in a breeze that whispers ancient prophecies, long dead languages, myths, lost things now found, history repeating itself, black mud-stained boots turned brown from sand and dust and wear, adventure.

My fellow students, why is your favorite animal your favorite animal? I like butterflies. They are pretty. But it's not just beauty. I also think jellyfish are beautiful, but I'm afraid of the sea. There's no point in decorating my room with a jellyfish theme if I'm afraid of the ocean. But butterflies make sense, anyway. I like that.
