Spoilers for AoS 1x17, 3x22, 5x14, 4x15
The twists on Agents of Shield hit SO HARD omg, and one of the main reasons for that is the diversions they utilize.
Like I never in a million years would’ve seen that Ward twist coming, (most people didn’t) especially after how betrayed he seemed when it was revealed that Skye was still in communication with the rising tide. They make it seem like “oh yeah, that’s the twist, Skye is the one who’s most likely to secretly work against everyone for a little while, but she’s not doing that anymore so that’s solved” and then Grant kills Hand and stabs everyone in the back and it’s insane.
I thought that the whole Necklace Of Death storyline was leading up to Yo-Yo’s death, and that passing it around and different people wearing the jacket was just another huge diversion to make us think that it was going to be someone besides her. It was her necklace. I was absolutely certain it would be her. I NEVER would’ve thought it would be LINCOLN.
We thought it was an evil fear-dimension doppelgänger of Fitz, only to find out he was never there and it was all Fitz. They really make you think it has something to do with the fear dimension, because that’s the main conflict, right? No.
AND OF COURSE WE HAVE TO TALK ABOUT SELF CONTROL. OMG. Maybe other people saw this part coming, but I never considered that one of Fitzsimmons would also be an LMD. I got literal chills when they discovered that their friends were replaced. That’s what I was focused on. And then they reveal that one of them was replaced. (Also, I just have to say the acting in that episode is absolutely phenomenal)
The writers are just so good at distracting you with other elements of the story, just so that they can completely catch you off guard with new, even more insane twists.

I just love how Daisy’s interactions with Rosalind in S3 are somewhat reminiscent of a snotty, rebellious child being pissed at her dad’s (Coulson’s) new girlfriend, Coulson having to remind them to play nice every 5 seconds.
Not to mention her asking Andrew, and basically anybody, when her real mom (May obv) is coming back (to save her from the scary “dragon lady” at this point)

Sweet kisses and corny jokes | Daisy Johnson x Fem!Reader | smut | minors DNI!
You love the heavy breathing that comes from your pretty girl, how her head bows forward as your fingers slide in and out of her repeatedly. Daisy grips the kitchen counter, the light from the ceiling casts a yellow glow over her skin, her eyes screwed shut as she moans softly.
Her eyes flutter open and she looks into yours, which are concentrated on making her feel good, but once you feel her gaze on you all of your attention is on hers. "You ok?"
"Never better." She whispers out as she smiles lazily. Your thumb circles around her bundle of nerves and that just makes her gasp softly. "I bet." You snicker. You lean in closer and press a kiss to the seam of her lips. You both hear Daisy's phone ring but choose to ignore it.
Later in the night Jemma texts Daisy what she was doing that made her miss her call, Daisy's simple answer was that she was doing things.
You let your other hand snake around her and pulls her impossibly closer. "Jesus, you're soaked." "And who's fault is that?" "Fault?" You ask with a raised eyebrow as you plunge you fingers into her once again, making her let out a mewl. "Baby, I know damn well you and I don't think this is 'my fault.'" You chuckle softly.
Daisy lets her head lean against the crook of your neck, she presses a few soft kisses to your shoulder, slowly traveling over your neck until she reaches your jaw.
Daisy is hyper-aware of her surroundings, the low beep of the oven, the incessant sound of Jemma calling once again, the TV in the background, and the faint music from your next-door neighbors. But it all drowns out when you kiss her roughly and tease her enough to make her fall over the edge.
Daisy comes on your fingers and you whisper into her ear, talking her through her orgasm with words of praise. She opens her eyes as best as she can to look at you as she comes down, her dark eyes seem lighter under the kitchen's light.
You look at her with adoration and then chuckle. "I really made your legs quake there, didn't I?" Daisy's placid smile fades. "God, you're annoying." "You love me."
She chuckles and presses a kiss to the tip of your nose. "Unfortunately." "Hey!"
