Rewatched parts of ep 19 to fact check for a fic and I hadn't noticed on first watch that Ivy's accent changed from Garthy's to something closer to Aelwyn's

You'll pry Leviathan-born Ivy from my cold dead hands and I know, Occam's Razor, BLeeM probably just forgot her accent bc it had been like 10+ episodes since she last showed up let alone spoke

But I'm also laughing at the idea of Ivy trying to honey pot Fabian by faking a Leviathan accent and persona and dropping it when he picked Mazey and that plan fell through. Queen of Tears is so interesting cause i've never dealt with two really complex leads like this in romcom (i mean it is funny)

i've said it before but Haein and Hyunwoo know each other very well but don't know each other at all (i don't know if i've ever seen communication issues this bad).

Losing the baby clearly drove them apart. She blamed herself and put up high walls. He wears his heart on his sleeve and cried over it. We can argue that he should've comforted her in that moment but at the same time she clearly knew he was upset so why didn't she go to him? Haein thought she had no right to grieve and consequently Hyunwoo thought she didn't grieve at all. The moment where they needed each other more than ever- the moment they should've been together they both fucked up.

The core of the issue is that they can't read each other's mind, this is literally said at the beginning of 6- they love each other dearly but also tripping over each in the process.

Outside of Hyunwoo jumping up and down at her diagnosis and faking his way into her will (which was painfully cruel and soooo funny) It's very clear that this is a two person game. Although I always interpreted Hyunwoo's joy as the same as the mistress of a wealthy man who is just waiting for him to die so she can get the money, (it's mean but most times the master either sucks or he's naive as hell and she has no reason to mourn) and at that point Hyunwoo's in the same situation.

Why didn't Haein defend him in front of her relatives? Why scold him publicly in front of the employees? She does a lot of things behind the scenes but good intentions can only go so far if object of those affections is ignorant of the full story. The same thing happens in episode 6, she is trying to protect Hyunwoo from her family but without telling him so he is ignorant of the big picture. Why wasn't Hyunwoo honest with his feelings? Why is he always assuming the worst when she never explicitly says something? We see he tries to talk to her (it fails) but his fear of upsetting her leads him to do otherwise cruel things to keep her happy.

Which is also why the divorce paper is so interesting. That paper was one of the best things he’s done. He was completely justified in writing that. It breaks Haein's heart but severing ties like that was way healthier than him forcing himself to stay in this marriage and pamper her with fake love.

One thing I will admire this piece for is the role reversal, like i'm seeing so many typical fl tropes on Hyunwoo and ml tropes on Haein. You ever read one those isekai or time reverse manwha's were the fl goes back in time to get a divorce but falls in love with her partner again? yeah this is the same exact thing.

honestly if I were ever to throw the Suitehearts into any of my Killjoys stuff the dynamic would literally be the stupidest thing in the world. you do not want to have the Four and those guys together in any setting. it's a recipe for disaster. Jet and Benzedrine bitch and bicker like old ladies. telepathic warfare is waged via a complex language of glares and eyebrow movements between everyone in the room. Sandman makes a wholeheartedly joking comment to Ghoul like "I want to study you in a lab" and Kobra Kid gives him a black eye on the spot. Crab and Donnie end up playing hide n seek with the Girl until someone else who isn't aware of the game accidentally dumps a whole dude out of their hiding spot on accident and then gets elbowed for it. everyone hates each other but they're also kind of pals in the way that people who occasionally help each other out but don't see each other outside of that can be. that kind of thing

the thing that’s really getting me about all the ppl theorycrafting why exactly you’re getting degendered is like… even if these *extremely* charitable readings were true, they would still be misgendering you??? like it doesn’t actually matter if “it’s coming from a place of consideration and care” because they’re still using the wrong pronouns for you

And like... I know a lot of these folks do ultimately have good intentions. I'd be willing to bet a lot of them are "just being careful", in their own minds.

But. it doesn't matter, actually. If you got my pronouns right when you thought I was cis, and they're suddenly too hard for you only once you know I'm trans, there's no non-transphobic reason for that. You saw me as a man and gendered me as such because it was "easy to remember" or whatever, then learned I was a trans man, and stopped seeing me as a man.

Cis men are easy to gender correctly, but trans men are not. That's transphobia.

And even if it wasn't- I am still being misgendered. It hurts differently when it's malicious vs. misguided vs. a genuine accident, but it's still a violation of my boundaries, it still hurts, and the goal should be to Not do that.

#and like not knowing at all also doesn't hurt for me #bc it's on me to tell you my boundaries #but once i do it is on you to respect them to the best of your ability #not to say others may not feel hurt in that situation #that's also very specific to using they/them as default until you learn that person's pronouns #if you slapped she/her on me that would in fact suck! royally!!

I honestly felt like Byleth lost all importance after joining in 3 HOPES and I would have appreciated her actually integrating at the story... like maybe Shez taking more time warming up to her or having more supports for her.

Even if it was just something like...

Byleth, whose head is filled with swords, food and one hundred Teutates pikes bouncing at the rythm of Beyonce's "crazy in love": 👁️👁️

You're not alone there my anon friend. We'all felt betrayed and used (mostly Byleth because big trailers with her only to completely discard her >__> WTF)

BUT before shafting it, HEAR ME OUT First ☝️

In hopes, we're playing as an outside view of the so called 'goddess vessel' (or reincarnation, whatever you wanna call her). Her time powers are mainly imperceptible to the rest of the cast in 3 houses, and so we get that Pov in Hopes. Shez's the only one who manage to get a hint of it -only a hint- mainly because their own powers ((And of course, us, the players who already played houses and are aware of them))

Who knows, perhaps Byleth managed to do an epic side quest on her own, break the Saharas (or that thing) and we will never get to know it because we're no longer in her mind. Seems like in the end of Shez/Byleth A support, Byleth went through something that made her accept the goddess role in her (she seems happy about it). We never know if Sothis and Byleth fused, or what happened to Sothis in general, but Byleth knows and won't tell us much because Byleth is reserved and humble(in those aspects). She'll be an anonymous goddess walking among the common folk who are unaware of her condition, offering kindness and personal guidance. She won't be able to help in her full potencial but the thought is also nice. Anyway, we will never know unless IS drop a DLC with such content (the hints of a DLC are there but considering how badly the game performed, a big chunk as already given up that idea - everyone but me lol because I am a stubborn clown 🤡- )

With that being said! I am all in for that kind of support. Everyone telling Dimitri to be wary of the Ashen Demon while she's there in a corner chomping a fish 👁️w👁️💦
