“idk i just felt that his character arc was contrived and the storytelling was very juvenile. the plot left a lot to be desired” ⬇️

Ya know sometimes it’s funny to me
I’m like why do I always write the boys as humans and specifically recently mermaids, why not write them as robots?
And then I look at my backlog of human bio and fish anatomy stuff and I’m like-
Yeah okay I could world-build for hours using this
And on the other hand I am completely in the dark about most programming and robotics things

i can never understand all the people going “covid’s just a cold” “it’s just like the flu”. it’s not influenza or a rhinovirus. covid sars-cov-2: severe accute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2. scientifically, it can never be a cold or flu, and it will cause severe accute respiratory syndrome. that’s not posturing or dramatics, it’s science

Earlier you said you picture Rebecca as hands off or mostly on the periphery if she was present at all while Cam is rediscovering her indigenous identity and how she wants to express it. So ultimately, in your ideal future for Cam in which she embraces that aspect of herself and is embraced in turn by the community, do you picture Cam with another first nations woman as part of her healing? Like, does that fit better?
Ya know I haven’t really thought about it honestly! When I try to imagine Rebecca in Cam’s journey of reconnection I fully see her being supportive and being present. But I don’t see her pushing Cam in anyway. For example, if Cam expresses she doesn’t wanna go to ceremony because she feels like she doesn’t fit in, Rebecca wouldn’t try and talk her out of that mindset. Rebecca on the sidelines as her biggest cheerleader but not the coach, if that makes sense?
I definitely think Cam needs more native friends and relatives. But I don’t think she needs to be with another indigenous person romantically, in order to heal. Even tho Becca will never fully understand that part of Cam, they still know each other so well and would continue to grow together
Truthfully I think once Cam became more comfortable with that part of herself she would be eager to share with Rebecca! And rebecca would be equally receptive! We have seen that they crave being in each others orbit, so when I say periphery I don’t think Rebecca would be straying far

Love, Louis, a guy who LOVES dogs, hasn't seen the cliff in MONTHS, and he said so himself. This dog has been in his life for YEARS and are you really fooling yourself by thinking he liked this photo of her for the DOG?
Danielle was erased from Louis' life for YEARS and now you tell me he's liking her photos because of the dog????
My love, the way you try to deceive yourself is actually funny, I swear.
Olivia was married 2 months before she showed up holding hands with H
So wait and see, bye bye
Bruh I can’t even take you seriously when the facts you’re coming at me with are wrong… Olivia and Jason were literally never married. So like. Scratch that one off I guess.
Also yes. Cliff the dog he loved so much he moved him to the UK instead of his son and then let Cliff stay with someone who could give him the time and care that he needs while Louis was TOURING THE FUCKING WORLD so he couldn’t bring along his giant fucking dog everywhere 🙄🙄
Go write Douis fanfiction if you want it to happen that much. I’m going to be over here not borrowing trouble because here’s the best part I have learned - even if for some fucking reason Douis comes back and INSTAGRAM likes while she’s still publicly engaged are the reason we knew it was happening - it still won’t make Louis and Danielle actually be in a real relationship.

You're playing the long dark! Do you like it? I like it a normal, regular amount of someone with over 900h gameplay 😬 have you seen the acorns yet? Love to Dave and Kepler
The Long Dark (alongside the Last of Us) is probably my all-time favourite game! There’s something so comforting about TLD, I can’t really put into words how much I love it.
I just started a new Pilgrim save for the DLC, I’m sooo excited to explore the new Tale. I found acorns but I have no idea how to use them yet. Looking forward to figuring that out lol

Are there any plans to upload sotp / we claim three online again? I'd purchase a digital copy too if that's available since I know imagehosting esp for a comic that long is annoying and expensive
I hope you don’t mind me answering this publicly but since I have been making decisions about it I thought it would save time 🤣
Yes!! I’ve been bouncing back and forth between just rereleasing it as it is or trying to redraw it (for better quality) but I think I’m going with the former. I’ve been working on a website to host it so once that’s done I’ll start posting the pages again!

Okay friends, I’m outsourcing some sewing and math advice because I have no clue what I’m doing here
^this is a pattern for a quarter circle skirt I’ve drafted (very roughly, as can be seen from whatever happened in the bottom left half of the paper). I have not yet bought fabric for this skirt. My questions are:
1) Should I buy fabric assuming it’ll be laid horizontally or vertically? I assume horizontal, as that would get me the most use of my fabric, but I feel like I should get confirmation on that one
2) how do I determine how much fabric I should buy? The skirt is (assuming I measured correctly) 35 inches tall, but I cannot figure out what math I should do to determine the length. I assume I’m measuring the bottom seam, as that’s the longest, but again there’s probably math involved there that I do not know how to do (or I’m overthinking this, in which case please wack me and tell me the simpler way to figure that out)
3) the internet says fabric is typically ~33-40 in. wide and however many yards long. (Assuming I lay the fabric horizontally,) Would I only need to buy the fabric at however many yards I end up needing and be able to cut the skirt in one piece, or would I need more fabric and cut it in two pieces?

i’m so frustrated with people’s lack of common sense about wildlife. if you’re interacting with wildlife, you’re not having your disney princess moment. you’re not forming a magical bond. that’s a wild animal who is potentially terrified; maybe it’s curious if it’s young enough, but that just means you should minimise interactions as much as possible to make sure that animal lives a normal life. if your kid comes in holding a wild animal, don’t pick up your fucking phone to videotape it. bring the animal back outside and educate your kid to leave animals alone. you know what happens when you take in wildlife as a “pet”? either you keep it and do damage because even though it’s “tame” it’s a wild animal who is in no way meant to live in that setting unless it’s being kept by a trained and licensed rehabber who knows the housing and feeding requirements (and even then i’ve seen some who are keeping animals irresponsibility), or it ends up at a wildlife rehab when you inevitably harm it enough that you don’t know what to do, or when no vets see you, or when the animal becomes too aggressive for you to handle. and then we either figure out how to rehabilitate an animal whose temperament and/or body you have massively damaged or we euthanise it because the damage is too extensive. start treating wildlife like wild animals rather than a dog or cat. they’re not pets, they’re not domesticated, leave them alone and let them live happy lives as they’re supposed to.
