A Wig You Need To Know: 4c Edges Wig
Wigs are a popular fashion accessory among people who want to change their looks in an instant and protect their own hair. There are various types of wigs available in the market, but the 4C edges wig is one that has become increasingly popular in recent times. Wanna know more about 4c edges wigs? After reading this blog, you will understand. Let’s start!!!
What is 4c edges wig?
Tumblr media
4c edges wig can also be called curly edge wig, which is a type of wig that is designed to mimic the natural texture of 4C hair, and is a type of hair that is tightly coiled and often found among people of African descent. It is made of high-quality synthetic materials and requires unique styling techniques to maintain it. This wig is unique as it has a more realistic edge finish that resembles the natural hairline of African-American individuals. 4c edges wig is a perfect option for black women who is lookin for a natural, easy to install and comfortable hair.
Why choose 4c edges wig?
1. It is made of real human hair.
One of the main advantages of the 4C edges wig is that it is made using human hair, meaning it blends in naturally with the wearer's existing hair. No tangle and no shedding. This type of wig allows people to switch up their hairstyles without worrying about the unnatural look or texture that is often seen with other types of wigs.
2.Highly versatile: Can be restyled freely.
Another great thing about the 4C edges wig is that it is highly versatile. The wig can be styled in a variety of ways, including braids, color and curls, depending on the people's hobby. This wig is perfect for those who have busy schedules and do not have the time to style their hair regularly.
3.Soft and comfortable.
4C edges wig is designed to be comfortable and breathable, ensuring maximum comfort for the women. It is made of high-quality materials that do not cause itching or irritation on the scalp, even after prolonged use.
How to care for your 4c edges wig?
To ensure that your wig lasts longer and stays in top condition, it’s important to take good care of your wig. Here are some tips:
1. You need to wash your wig regularly with specially desiWash your wig regularly.gned shampoo and conditioner. Wash your synthetic wig at least once a month and more frequently if you wear it every day. But detangle your wig firstly. Use lukewarm water (not hot water) make the hair wet, then put a small amount shampoo on the hair and work the shampoo through the hair.  Then rinse the hair clean.
2. After washing, use a towel to pat your wig dry. Avoid rubbing and using a hairdryer as this can cause damage to the fibers. Place your wig on a wig stand or mannequin head to air dry.
3. Use a wig brush to style your wig. Avoid using regular hairbrushes or combs as they can cause damage to the wig's fibers.

How to style hair without using heat?
New Post has been published on https://hazirbilgi.com/how-to-style-hair-without-using-heat/
How to style hair without using heat?
If your hair is beautiful, you are beautiful too! For beautiful and well-groomed hair, you do not have to spend hours every day and wear your hair by constantly exposing it to heat. Put aside the heat-operated hair styling tools that spoil quickly and increase the temperature, especially on hot days, and give these heatless hair styling methods a chance.
1- Try beach waves
After showering, apply serum or hair oil to towel-dried but still damp hair, then divide your hair into several sections and twist each section into a loose, curly bun. Let this shape settle for an hour and unfold. You can use a stabilizer if you wish. This method gives you a beach wave texture that looks like it just came out of the sea. The waves are not as pronounced as if you were using curling irons or straighteners, but they give you those light and natural waves. If your hair is not holding the curls well, you can also get help from a curl defining product.
2- Sleep with knitting
One of the methods that works well for all hair types is to sleep with braided hair. In particular, the form known as rope braid, in which each strand is twisted and included in the braid, can provide you with the most moving hair. You can try it with four strands if you have thick and straight hair, and two if you have thin hair. When you wake up, your hair will have a more natural, curling-like wave rather than the awkward curl you get from a classic braid.
3- Don’t give up on conditioner
Care is important in hot weather, as moistened hair prevents electrification. This is especially important when you are going to use a hair dryer. For dry styling, you should use moisture-rich products to seal the cuticles and prevent moisture loss. If you have curly hair, you should invest in conditioners for the best look. Most of the time, frizz, a problem for curly hair, is simply caused by oil from the scalp not reaching the ends of the hair, leaving the hair dehydrated and vulnerable to damage. That’s why you can turn your hair into a moisture bomb by sleeping with coconut oil once a week.
4- Create a conditioner cocktail
To prevent frizz while drying your hair, first remove excess water and then proceed by drying it with a paper towel. For a product that will both moisturize and shape your hair, you can mix some light gel and conditioner and apply it from your roots to the ends.
5- Try different models
Heatless styling methods do not give you a complete curling look, they give more natural finishes and movements. If you’re not happy with the result, think about what you can do before rushing to heat stylers. A bun or a ponytail that ends in a braid, with hair that has been completely soothed with jelly? You have countless ways to make your hair more beautiful and you should consider giving them a try.

﹐♡﹒infos : fluff, black!fem!reader, reader has 4c hair :D, i think reader is african.. 😨🤭
﹐♡﹒summary : how my boys would be with their black girl ♡
──﹐MIDORIYA IZUKU
he is in love with your natural hair. he braids your natural hair whenever you need to. he practiced multiple times on his mom to be good enough on your 4c hair. he just love having you between his legs (not in the dirty way 😭) and taking care of your hair. he knows your arms gets tired at some point and he takes over. he even let you braid his hair. you tried once he looked cute but it was weird to see him like this.
“thereee you go! i’m done, you look beautiful darling!”
──﹐SERO HANTA
obsessed with your waist beads, they just look so good around your waist. he always smile whenever he sees you with cycling shorts and a crop top, seeing your waist beads falling onto your hips. ahh.. his favorite view. he loves to see you dance and roll your hips, he always hold them tight and follow your moves. you listen to the same type of music, so when it comes to singing some wizkid or rema’s songs, he will know the lyrics perfectly.
“i bought you the one with yellow and orange beads. it would look good on you, princess.”
──﹐JAËGER EREN
he was made for black women, especially you. everything about you looks so perfect to him. he just loves everything you do. but when you put you cultural dress/clothes? nahh, he goes feral. head over heels for you! the way the wax fabric hugs your shape, he’s a drooling mess. he just sees you as the mother of his children. he’s in love with your culture and tradition, he finds it so interesting and beautiful (which is true). will take 100 pics of you.
“you lookin’ so hottt right now, ma’. yeah, yellow is definitely your color.”
──﹐TODOROKI SHOTO
he is very caring, he will pamper you and spoil you whenever he gets the chance. when he step outside the house, he will come back with a gift. it’s his love language, he will spend his whole money on you. he will pay for your braids whenever you need to, your wigs and hair care. he will pay for your nails, he just loves to take care of you. he is your #1 fan, he will never fail to praising you. you’re hesitating between 2 hairstyles? he will choose for you, and make an amazing choice.
“i like the one with the curls, bohemian braids isn’t it? they would look amazing on you, my love.”
──﹐BAKUGO KATSUKI
he’ll never admit it but he is obsessed with the food you make. he always ask for more, he loves it. you were now cooking the kind of food your grandma made to your mom, and what your mom made to you. plantains are definitely his favorite, he always eat the whole thing. he’s himself a great cook, when it’s his turn to make dinner he never disappoint. but your foods are somehow different, and that is what makes it interesting. sometimes you both would even cook together, one teaching the other.
“yeah it tastes good, but i can do better than that. is there any left?”
──﹐TSUKISHIMA KEI
whenever you’re taking care of your hair, he’s always there for you. he knows how tired it can be when you wanna brush your hair, or straighten it. he will always help you. washing your hair? he is there when you can’t reach the back of it. loves to kiss your forehead as a reward and tells you that you did a good job. he always helps you take your box braids off too, watching a movie at the same time. he got his full attention on you, he knows whenever you need a break.
“you’re hungry, princess? let’s take a break and order something to eat.”
thanks for reading darlin! don’t forget to like and leave a comment :)

╰┈➤ ❝ GO NATURAL! ❞
Tumblr media
: ̗̀➛ ft. pavitr prabhakar x fem! reader
: ̗̀➛ note. pav is all for you switching up styles and admiring each one of them, but is horrified at the thought of you not loving your natural hair
: ̗̀➛a/n. i only wrote this because I was having a hair crisis this morning and all black readers need a little extra loving, shout-out to all the 4c girlies we got it rough, part of me is tempted to make a part two with him actually trying to help
Tumblr media
“What about this one?”
Feet swinging in the air as you lay on your stomach with your head resting on a pillow, you pause your constant scrolling on your Pinterest feed on a specific style and turn your phone around to show it off to your boyfriend, who was rummaging through his backpack searching for a paper to finish an assignment in class that wasn’t due for weeks.
Holding your phone up for him to see, Pav gives a small hum of approval as he walks past the bed, paper in hand, eyeing the screen before leaning down to kiss your temple and falling back into his desk chair. “It’s just as amazing as the last, you’d look great with those braids! You should get them.”
Groaning, your phone falls back in front of you and you turn your attention back to mindlessly scrolling through more posts. “You basically said the same thing for all of the others!” You whine, feeling his head slightly shake as he laughs at your annoyance.
“And I meant it for every last one, Y/N,” he chirps, abandoning his work to join you in bed, laying by your side with his head resting in the palm of his hand as he propped himself up with an arm, laptop now discarded on the other side of your bed. “Your beauty matches every hairstyle you’ve shown, you’re overcomplicating it, dear. Pick the hairstyle you love the most. I’ll love it no matter what.”
Unable to ever get use to his constant affection and sappy words, you look away and bury your head into your pillow. “You’re no help, you’d encourage me to go bald if I told you I wanted to shave my head!”
“With zero hesitation, I’ll even buy you wigs for it if you want! You have a wonderful head shapes, and you wouldn’t be as hot in the summer-” “Pav!” “Sorry, I can’t help it, you pull off any and every style.”
Tilting your head up to look him in the eyes, Pav beams at you and gives you another friendly reminder of just how distracted you can become when your boyfriend smiles at you, you ought to buy sunglasses to protect yourself from the rays of sunshine. Your face goes back into your pillow in a fit of frustration, phone long forgotten and he senses your agitation, pouting at your depleted form.
“You know, angel, if picking a style is so hard you could always wear it regular?” He suggested while making a point of it to affectionately pat your bonnet where your hair would be, only to almost immediately regret it when your head shot up and you gave him a pointed look. “Natural? Pav, please.”
“I’m only trying to help, you always look great with your natural hair! Your Afros are my favorite~” he practically purred, rolling over on top of you and propping himself up on his hands, forcing you to do the same to face him as your stomach tingled with the familiar feeling of butterflies.
“As tempting as that is, not all of us are born with genetically superior hair gifted by the gods that lets us wake up and walk out of the house with looks that could put all models to shame,” you snicker, your left hand reaching up to run a hand through said gorgeous locks and your right cupping his cheek. You could see the hint of pride shining in his eyes at your indirect compliment, making a point of flipping his hair out of his face to show off, but he didn’t let it distract him from your predicament.
“But I love your hair!” He argued. “Me too! You know what I don’t love? Tired arms, a messy bathroom and hair product ending up stuck under my nails for days. Coconut oil can only get one so far, sweetheart. I don’t feel like putting in the effort right now.”
Despite your good point, Pavitr was not a quitter and was proving to live up to his reputation of being extremely dedicated, and persuasive at that. “What if I help you?”
“No way.”
“I’m really skilled with my hands!”
“Nu uh.”
“We can even match!”
“Are you insane?”
“I can even make up a style for you! I saw a video a few days ago where-”
“Absolutely not.”
What came after was a silent argument communicated through a very long staring contest between you two that surely lasted longer than a minute, but you were kidding yourself if you thought you’d be able to say no to his begging when he was looking at you with such pleading eyes and a forced frown on his face that you were certain he was doing on purpose because he knew you’d cave.
Unfortunately for you, he was right.
Sighing and letting your head fall back onto the pillow, you sighed in defeat and raised your hands as a sign of surrender. “Fine, but you have to do exactly as I say, exactly as I say, and god so help me if you screw up-”
“Yes!!!” Pav had already halfway tuned you out, cupping your face to pepper kisses all over your cheeks, forehead and nose before planting a final one on your lips and jumping up to run into the bathroom and get started. “I promise you’re going to love it!”
“-and you better not waste any of my product!”

🌸✨️ (THIS IS AN EXTRA POST: today is special, so I feel like talking a bit more than usual.)
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
✨️Very few things in this world matter more to me than my hair.✨️
That's not even a hyperbole. There have been multiple points in time where the only reason I chose to stay alive was because I wanted to see how long my hair would grow.
In my culture, hair is a person. It's a physical culmination of everything you've ever been -- a representation of who you are. Scientifically speaking, by every seven years or so each cell in your body has been replaced. But with dreadlocks, that's not necessarily true. Your flesh may be replaced, but you can still have locs attached to your head that are decades old.
Yet, despite knowing all this, I used to throw my hair in the bin.
I used to snip the ends off because some stylist online who sure as hell didn't have any type 4c clients told me to. I would use combs that took portions off me big enough to make a wig and maybe even a little hat to compliment it.
Then again, I haven't necessarily come very far, I only stopped last year. And this post isn't even supposed to be about the past. It's just... I remember my great grandmother told me something as I child that stuck with me for a long time and eventually was the inspiration in the first place as to why I made a change:
The ends of your hair are the most important parts. A story is only as good as how it progresses from the beginning. Hair is like that, except people get it all wrong. They call the ends of your hair the roots and the roots of your hair the end. When you cut your hair, you discard the only physical semblance left of your former selves. Unless you are truly ready to lose them, you should keep that in mind.
Anywho, with that in mind, 'soon as I graduated highschool I decided I wanted to start mini braiding. Basically I do really tiny three strand twists three times a year (4 month intervals.)
(The reason I chose this instead of locs was because I don't really want to carry my past around forever (rastas in my culture literally just never cut their hair💀). Instead, I'd rather hang on to my past until it decides on its own that its time to go and therefore falls out naturally.)
The mini braids do take equally as much (if not more) maintence than locs though. I only came here babbling because tomorrow is actually when I'm redoing my hair for the second time this year. It will be about three days before I'm finished.
Oh well, wish me luck! (Or don't.)

I Am Not My Hair
Tumblr media
What actually happens if I shave my head bald?
Why cant I see what I look like without hair?
Why do I have to be sick or have cancer or be dying?
Why am I not allowed as a woman to just shave my head?
Why do I need a reason, a justification, an explanation?
Why do I have to justify being hairless?
Why are people acting like Im dying and have cancer just because Im bald?
Tumblr media
Nothing happens. Thats the gag.
Youve been taught to fear.
Its just my bald head. Why is that forbidden?
Verboten?
Why cant I ever see what my actual head looks like without all this hair on it?
Tumblr media
Why cant I see what my face looks like without it constantly being surrounded by hair?
What if I like being bald?
What if I like not spending $1200+ a year on my hair?
What if I like not styling my hair?
What if I like not doing anything with my hair other than cutting it super short, about an inch or two, every few months?
Why does it threaten people for a woman not to care about her hair?
I dont want to go to a hair salon or barbershop.
I dont want to go back to an afro.
Tumblr media
I dont want locs or dreads.
I dont want shaved sides, I already did that last year.
I dont want corn rows or bantu knots, Ive done that too.
I dont want to grow it out.
I dont want a $500 lace front wig.
I dont want a wig professionally installed by a stylist every 2 to 3 months.
I dont want to wash or brush my hair.
I dont want to put any products in my hair.
Why is it a sin for a black woman to not want to grow her hair out?
Tumblr media
I dont want my "long beautiful" hair back.
I dont want it halfway down my back again.
I dont want it to my waist again.
I dont want to relax it again -- there are lawsuits against Loreal, black women who used Just For Me and other chemical relaxers to straighten their hair are being diagnosed with cancer, inferitility and fibroids.
The chemicals in a relaxer are strong enough to break down and destroy the natural texture of your curly coiled kinks and force it to be straight -- those same chemicals are also strong enough to literally peel paint off of cars -- why are you putting this directly on your scalp for an hour plus every 2 to 3 months from the time you are a pre-teen or in high school until adulthood, for decades, and thinking that there wont be health issues?
They target products to Black women that kill them.
Remember the little Black girls that sang the R&B pop jingle in the Just For Me commercial?
"Just for me...hair so healthy, silky and free."
Who was that song for?
Tumblr media
This was the 90s and there were multiple Black girl groups back then -- TLC, 702, Blaque, Xscape, Jade, Total, MoKenStef, etc. -- they wanted to get us while we were young so we would keep using their products until adulthood.
I got my first perm, I am 4C, at 11. I was so glad my mother stopped burning me with the hot comb that she had tortured me with since I was 5. Anything was better than that as I had a very sensitive scalp or "tenderheaded" as it is called in our community.
I couldnt wait to go to Touch of Magic salon where my older sister already had her long, silky hair. I was tired of being tortured by a hot ass comb that was constantlu burning my fucking scalp and I was tired of being told to "sit still" while my scalp was being fucking burned. I couldnt wait for the Revlon Fabulaxer so the dreaded golden hot comb could be forever banished from my existence.
From 11 to 34, 23 years, I faithfully got  a relaxer at the salon every 2 to 3 months. It was about $120+ (relaxer, deep condition, style, split ends, color, etc.). Over the years, that fucking adds up, over $100k I spent on my hair. Even when I went natural at 34, my 4c hair is extremely thick, kinky, nappy, unruly and very difficult to deal with. People have literally broken combs trying to comb through it. Needless to say, I couldnt manage anything myself but a wash and go so I spent thousands at the salon as a 4c natural on Senegalese twists, box braids, Bantu knots, corn rows, twist outs, twist updos and flat twists.
Then I shaved my sides and cut my hair super short and started going to barber shops but I was dyeing it fuschia back then so my hair was still costing me money.
Tumblr media
Then last year, I finally just grabbed kitchen scissors out of my kitchen and hacked it myself and decided I was never going to go back to a salon or barbershop.
I was going to cut my hair with kitchen scissors myself every 2 to 3 months. I do like different looks so I have five cheap synthetic shitty wigs that are different colors (blue, blonde, green, black). Depending on the lewk and fit, either I just wear my hair natural and short or I slap a wig on.
Tumblr media
But thats it. No maintenance, no upkedp, no hair care routines, no wasting away a Saturday at a salon, no barbershops, no wash and gos, no 15 hour sessions getting braided extensions.
Just literally cutting it with kitchen scissors every 2 to 3 months and slapping on a cheap shitty wig whenever I have a certain fit or lewk and thats it.
Then in August, I decided to shave my head bald. I didnt want even a few inches of hair anymore so I grabbed my husbands razor and shaved it. Didnt go to a barbershop or stylist. Had no idea how to even use the razor and just shaved it all off in under 10 minutes. I loved the bald look especially with thick ass winged liquid eyeliner, bold dramatic eyeshadow and colorful lipstick.
Tumblr media
I have a few inches of growth that in a month or two, I will grab the kitchen scissors again and cut my hair down to an inch or two. Ill do that every few months. I love it bald but even shaving my head on a regular basis is more time than I choose to devote to my hair. Cutting it with scissors to an inch or two every 2 to 3 months is my absolute limit.
As a woman, thats not allowed.
Especially as a Black woman.
And I was raised by a Southern Baptist fundamentalist, so forget about it.
You have to obsess over your hair, products, styling, color, length, look, appearance, texture, curl pattern, thickness, volume, care routines, pre poo, deep conditoning, tea tree oil, diffusing, texturizing, blow out, straightening, relaxing, lace front wig installations, weaves, kanekalon, bundles, braids, twists, locs, dreads, corn rows, bantu knots...
You cant just not do your hair!
Only you can. Because thats exactly what I do.
Even as a Black woman and we are brainwashed to be absolutely obsessed with our hair.
Go back and look at the hysteria India Arie caused when she shaved her "beautiful curls".
Just like India Arie, I am not my hair.
