Hey Meep, Meepster, Meeperoni how do you draw scales?

I love your scales, both the prominent and far away ones. I especially love the scales on your cryptid boys.

So how do you do it?! When I try to draw scales it looks like a gravel road and just overall bad. Please share your wisdom, I beg.

In my head this turned into a bigger question than you might have intended pfjfjf, I tried my best to stay relativity simple with my answer!

Let me show you how you can think when figuring out big scales.

First I try to keep it simple and not sketch in all the scales until I've gotten the pose down.

When I start planning out scales I start with figuring out the direction of the scales and the big shapes (I usually do this in my head, but drawing it can be very useful)

Once I'm happy with the shapes and directions I start adding the scales one at a time, all overlapping each other like they're huge fish scales.

Scales don't always have to follow the same 'start at the head and run down the body' idea, you can do the opposite and get some very neat looking shapes. You can mix it up too. Here's some examples!

There are a lot of different kinds of scales and animals often have more than one kind. Some even do look like gravel!

I suggest looking at real life animals and fictional creatures for inspiration and reference. It takes a long while to learn how and where to use specific scales, but it'll be easier if you're willing to spend some time looking at and studying scales and the anatomy around them.

warnings: seb treating Y/N like a daughter, the drivers teasing her for her fangirl freakout, shawn being as sweet as ever.

authors note: I LOVED this request so much that when i started writing i had two ideas that i needed to write down! seb shouting that he's the father of the grid and don't ask me why, i can't explain it, and the other drivers treating her like a little sister aaaaaa have my heart 🥹 and the other story is here! i hope you like it as much as i enjoyed writing it.

Y/N rubbed her eyes and groaned as she checked her phone. She had slept through her alarm and was now running late for her interview. She quickly got dressed and headed to the paddock, hoping she wouldn't get into too much trouble.

As she walked into the media center, she could feel the eyes of her fellow drivers on her. She blushed and tried to hide behind her hair, feeling like a little kid who had done something wrong.

"Hey, sleepyhead, did you forget you had an interview this morning?" Daniel teased, his grin widening as she walked by.

Y/N rolled her eyes but couldn't help but smile. She knew the guys meant well, but sometimes it felt like they didn't take her seriously as a driver.

Sebastian, who had always been a bit of a father figure to her, walked over and put a hand on her shoulder. "Don't worry, kiddo, we've got your back. Just remember to speak from the heart, and you'll do great."

Y/N nodded, grateful for his words of encouragement. She took a deep breath and walked into the interview room, trying to push her nerves aside.

The interviewer greeted her with a smile and started with the usual questions about her racing career. Y/N answered as best she could, but she couldn't help feeling like she was stumbling over her words.

Then, the interviewer asked her about her relationship with the other drivers. Y/N's heart sank. She knew what was coming next.

"So, Y/N, the other drivers have referred to you as their little sister. How does that make you feel?"

Y/N could feel her cheeks turning red as she fidgeted in her seat. "Um, well, it's nice to be part of such a close-knit community, but sometimes it feels like they don't take me seriously as a driver."

The interviewer nodded sympathetically. "Do you feel like you have to prove yourself more because of that?"

Y/N nodded. "Yeah, definitely. But I try not to let it get to me. At the end of the day, I know what I'm capable of."

The rest of the interview went by in a blur, and before she knew it, Y/N was back in the paddock. She was greeted by a chorus of cheers and high-fives from the other drivers.

"Great job, sis!" Charles said, clapping her on the back.

"Way to go, Y/N!" Mick added, grinning.

Y/N couldn't help but smile, feeling like she had overcome a major hurdle. She was proud of herself for speaking her truth and proving that she was more than just a little sister.

And as she walked away, she heard Sebastian's voice behind her. "Good job, sunshine. You did great in there."

Y/N turned around and smiled at him. "Thanks, Seb. You were right, speaking from the heart really helped."

Sebastian gave her a warm smile. "I knew you had it in you. You're a great driver, and don't let anyone make you feel otherwise."

Y/N felt a surge of gratitude towards Sebastian. He had always been there for her, supporting her and giving her advice when she needed it most. "Thanks, Seb. I really appreciate your support."

Sebastian patted her on the back. "Anytime, kiddo. You're like a daughter to me, you know that."

Y/N's heart swelled with warmth at his words. She had always looked up to Sebastian, and it meant a lot to her to be considered like a daughter to him. "I'm lucky to have you as a mentor, Seb."

Sebastian chuckled. “The feeling's mutual, sunshine.”

As she made her way to the interview area, she noticed a commotion near the stage. A group of fans had gathered around someone, screaming and taking pictures. Y/N squinted, trying to see who it was, and then her heart skipped a beat. It was Shawn Mendes.

"Oh my god," she whispered feeling a surge of excitement. "Oh my god, is that Shawn Mendes?" she whispered to herself, trying to play it cool.

As she tried to make her way through the crowd to get closer to Shawn, she heard the other drivers calling out to her.

"Hey, Y/N, did you bring your Shawn Mendes poster for him to sign?" Lando teased, grinning from ear to ear.

Max chimed in. "I heard he's a big fan of yours too, Y/N. Maybe you should ask him for an autograph."

Y/N felt her face turning red as she tried to hide her embarrassment. She had been a fan of Shawn Mendes since her teenage years, and she couldn't believe she was about to meet him in person.

She finally managed to make her way to the front of the crowd and caught Shawn's eye. He smiled at her and waved, holding up a hat with her racing number on it.

Y/N's heart skipped a beat as she saw the hat. She couldn't believe that Shawn was wearing something with her number on it. She felt a surge of emotions, a mix of excitement and disbelief.

She managed to make her way through the crowd and stood in front of Shawn. "Hi, Shawn," she said, trying to keep her voice steady.

"Hey, Y/N," Shawn replied, grinning. "It's great to finally meet you in person."

Y/N could feel her heart racing as she tried to think of something to say. "I can't believe you're a fan of mine," she managed to say, feeling a little star-struck.

Shawn chuckled. "Of course I am. I've been following your career for a while now. You're an amazing driver."

Y/N felt a surge of pride at his words. She had always looked up to Shawn as a musician, and to hear him say that he was a fan of hers was surreal.

"Would you mind signing something for me?" she asked, feeling a little shy.

"Of course, what do you want me to sign?" Shawn asked, taking out a marker from his pocket.

Y/N handed him her racing helmet. "Could you sign this for me? It's my lucky helmet."

Shawn nodded and signed the helmet with a message of encouragement. Y/N couldn't believe it. She had always dreamed of meeting Shawn Mendes, and now here he was, signing her helmet.

As she walked away from the crowd, Y/N couldn't help but smile.

The other drivers continued to tease Y/N about meeting Shawn Mendes for the rest of the day. Lando and Max kept making jokes about her being a fangirl and asking for autographs. Even Sebastian couldn't resist making a quip or two, although he was always quick to reassure her that meeting Shawn was a big deal and she had nothing to be embarrassed about.

"Hey, Y/N, you going to hang that picture of you and Shawn Mendes on your bedroom wall?" Daniel joked, earning a chuckle from Lando.

Y/N rolled her eyes but couldn't help but grin at their banter. "Very funny, guys. You wish you had a picture with Shawn like I do."

Lando crossed his arms. "Oh, please. We have better things to do than fangirl over celebrities."

George raised an eyebrow. "Speak for yourself, Lando. I heard you have a secret crush on Selena Gomez."

Lando's face turned red as he sputtered out a denial. "What? No, I don't! Who told you that?"

Y/N couldn't help but laugh at the exchange. "Looks like I'm not the only one with a celebrity crush around here."

Despite the teasing, Y/N couldn't stop thinking about the encounter. She couldn't believe that Shawn Mendes was a fan of hers and had been wearing a hat with her racing number on it. It was surreal.

Later that day, as she was getting ready for the quali, she saw that Shawn had posted a picture of them together on his social media. He had even tagged her in the post and written a sweet message about how much he admired her as a driver.

Y/N couldn't contain her excitement as she saw Shawn's post. She let out a loud scream in the motorhome, causing some of the other drivers to come rushing over, thinking that she had been attacked or injured.

"What happened? Are you okay?" Lewis asked, concern etched on his face.

Y/N turned to them with a huge grin. "No, I'm fine. Look!" She held up her phone, showing them Shawn's post.

The other drivers crowded around her, looking at the post with interest. Lando let out a whistle. "Wow, Y/N, you're really making a name for yourself. Maybe you'll get a shoutout from Taylor Swift next!"

Max chuckled. "Or maybe Drake will invite you to his next concert."

Y/N rolled her eyes, but couldn't help feeling a little giddy. She had always dreamed of meeting her favorite celebrities, and now that dream was starting to become a reality. She knew that she had worked hard to get where she was, but it still felt surreal to see her name being recognized by people she admired.

You knew Erling too well. You noticed every little demeanor about his behavior that gave away certain emotions, especially when he didn’t liked something, and because of this, you noticed that something was really bothering him right now.

You eyed him again across the kitchen, still cutting some vegetables while trying to figure out what could be the possible reason for his annoyance. He looked amazing, even fresh out of the shower. Something about the slick back hair and the simple clothes he used around the house were so attractive to you that it was inevitable to eye him from time to time. That’s how you noticed he wasn’t annoyed five minutes ago. Something happened.

“Everything okay, babe?” You asked after a while, noticing how his shoulders went a little stiff, his brows furrowed while looking up from his phone.

You both exchanged looks before he shrugged, locking it.

“Uh, yeah, yeah… I’m perfect.” His tone was so serious, going perfectly along with his poker face, that you had to physically stop yourself from laughing right there.

Instead, you just arched an eyebrow in his direction, continuing your tasks of chopping vegetables and stirring the pot, hearing from time to time a huff or a sigh coming from Erling, making you smile a bit. Sooner than later…

“Can I ask something?” He said then, still flat-toned. You pursed your lips, trying very hard to stay serious when you looked up from the pot.

“Sure, what’s up?” His eyes followed your movements as you dried your hands and made your way around the counter to his spot. With you standing and him sitting on a stool, you barely made it to his shoulder. He was looking down at you with an illegible expression. “What is it?” You caressed his cheek, wanting to know why he seemed so upset.

Your touch had some effect because his gaze and posture relaxed. You made your way between his legs, hugging his waist as tightly as possible, looking up at him with a half-smile; you wanted to reassure him that you were there to listen.

“I just..” He began, sighing. “I dunno, I saw something that made me a little bit… Look, I don’t want to sound like a jealous prick or something, but…” He ran his hands through his hair, looking frustrated. “Are you, like… Seeing other people?”

The question shocked you a bit, but you couldn’t get really offended by it. You two weren’t exactly a couple, but your relationship wasn’t just a friendship. It was something in between that stressed you from time to time. You kept staring at him, trying to figure out where did that question came from.

“No?” You didn’t want to sound like you were confused, but… You were. “Why do you ask?”

“Well, uhm… I know we haven’t said anything about exclusivity ever, but I was wondering if…” He paused at the last second, biting his lip before shaking his head. “You know what? Let’s just forget that I said anything, ok? It’s dumb.”

“No! It’s not dumb. C’mon! What is it, Erling?” You shook him a bit, eager for whatever answer he was going to give you.

Why was he talking about exclusivity all of the sudden?

“Okay, okay! Here.” He took his phone again, typing for a few seconds before showing you the screen.

You squinted at first, unable to see clearly what was on it given how close it was to your face. After a minute, you saw a post on Instagram. The photo seemed familiar, and your brain took a while to recognize various of your friends' faces. Then it hit you: it was Brad’s post from his birthday earlier in the year. You didn’t saw anything particularly strange until you considered Erling’s point of view. You were almost sitting on Brad’s lap, making a kissing face toward his face.

“Oh…” A light blush started to cover your cheeks. Your eyes made it back to Erling’s face, who was looking back at you with puppy eyes. “That.”

“Yeah?” He seemed anxious for an answer, biting his lip again. “Then? Are you going out with him?”

“My god! No, no. I’ll never date Brad, gross!” You said immediately, wrinkling your nose at the mere thought of Brad being romantically close to you. “He’s just a friend. It was his birthday… Wait, how did you find that photo? It was at the beginning of the year!”

“Uh… I dunno, I was checking your tags?” He looked guilty, which made you laugh a bit. “I’m sorry, I just got a bit curious…”

“Don’t be sorry.” You hugged him again, kissing his neck in the process. “And, no. No dating Brad nor anyone else for that matter.”

“Well, are you sure he doesn’t want to? Seems like both of you are pretty close…” He frowned again, covering his eyes with one hand after saying it. “God, sorry. I just can’t stand the idea of someone else… I’m sorry.”

“Babe! Stop saying sorry!” You took his hand, kissing it as well, just to have more physical contact with him, trying to reassure him in any way possible. “Let’s not talk about him, okay? I only care about you. I’m not dating anyone else, and I don’t want to.”

“Really?” His tone sounded hopeful, which broke your heart a bit. “Are we… dating-dating?”

You smiled, noticing how dumb it sounded to just ask something that at all times was obvious. You gave him a little peck before answering.

“What are we doing here if not dating, love?” You giggled when his face just gave away confusion, excitement, and shyness that weren’t typical of him. “Do you want me to officially ask you to be my boyfriend?” You teased him, enjoying how he blushed and looked away from you.

“Oh, shut it.” You both laughed before he held you closer, kissing you multiple times. “I think dinner is about to burn, baby.”

“What?!” You panicked, looking back at the stove, where your pot was safe but seemingly in danger of spilling all over the counter. “Fuck! Let me get that.”

He let you go, laughing when you gave him a serious look, thanking every God that you still had a dinner to serve.

“Ah, what a girlfriend I have, huh?”

“Oh, now you shut it, Haaland!”

But you couldn’t be more grateful for his laugh and your newfound relationship status.

abner would definitely be tense for the first few dates before slowly loosening up and relaxing, but even that will take a while

dating abner might be tiring at times, he constantly questions why you’re with someone like him, he’ll constantly be worried that you’ll leave him, but all in all, you’re willing to reassure him with words of affirmation

abner definitely calls you babe, or baby, or just by your name, he doesn’t strike me as a nick name type

abner is definitely a little spoon, he feels safe and comfortable in your arms, and every time he’s having a panic attack or ptsd hits, the best way to calm him is to embrace him

he would get nightmares in the middle of the night about his mother abusing him all over again but it would be okay because you're there to hold him tight and tell him that she can't hurt him anymore

he would do the same for you if you had a nightmare or a troubling past, he wouldn't know what to say, but i'd feel like he'd memorise the things you say to him and then repeat them back to you, because he learned from the best ofc

i’d think he gets a little bit jealous, but he trusts you, but yk when insecurity hits, everything just gets a little foggy, he doesn’t want to tell you because he doesn’t want to be a nuisance but you can tell, you’d always kiss his cheek when you know he’s feeling a tad bit insecure and that brightens him up real quick

abner will protect you in any way he can, even if he knows he isn’t that physically strong to win in a fight, he’ll defend you and your honour any time

though usually it’s you who protects him by standing up to people who call him names or are rude to him, he has to calm you down and pull you away so you’d stop cussing at them

Adamai x gn reader- picnic date! (Sfw)

Reader is referred to as Y/N

This fic is based on if he asked you out on a picnic date and confessed his feelings 💙

As Adamai approached your house with a picnic basket and your favorite flower, he couldn't help but feel nervous.

After all, you WERE very beautiful/handsome, and he was afraid of rejection.

But... There was the way you looked at him when you thought he wasn't watching... It was like you liked him back!

So he mustered up the courage to ask you out! He knocks on the door... Hoping you're home.

You were thinking about Adamai, as always when you were alone, and you though about the way he seemed to get flustered in a not- so- obvious way. Batting his eyes slightly... His tail fidgeting... Stuff like that. Did he like you back?

You suddenly hear a knock, and think, 'who is that?' you open the door to a certain dragon with a picnic basket and your favorite flower. "Uh, hi Ad, what's that for?" You ask and gesture to the supplies.

"it for a... Uh... Date..." Adamai responds, seeming shy. "With who?" You seem curious, and you are, but you're also a bit jealous.

"with you, if you'd like to go," Adamai says with a gentle smile, giving you the flower.

"you... Feel that way about me?" You ask as you grab the flower, admiring it. He looks away, still smiling gently, and itching his neck. "Yah, I have for a while now, y/n..."

"I feel the same, Ad," you responded to his confession. He holds his hand out. "Then let's go, y/n," the handsome dragon stated.

You two soon arrive at the picnic spot Ad picked out. It was a green hill covered with beautiful flowers, deep in the sadida forest. "Do you like the location?" Ad asked, seeming a bit nervous, still holding your hand.

"it's beautiful Ad..." You were in awe of the surroundings.

The blue and white dragon let go of your hand to put down the blanket, putting the basket on it, and sitting down. "Let eat, y/n!" The hungry dragon called out.

You stopped looking at your surroundings and sat next to him. "So, how long have you known you liked me, Ad?" You question, grabbing a sandwich and taking a bite.

"ah, I think... It was when I first met you..." His voice trails off as he also eats some of the food.

"love at first sight? So cliche," you chuckle.

"it's true though! When I first met you..." He grabs your hand and kisses it. "... I knew I had feelings... And since then... I've fallen more and more..."

You feel some heat rise to your cheeks, his words like a river of the sweetest honey. He notices the lack of response and looks up at you, seeing your face. "You're flustered?" He teased, smirking.

"yah... I guess so..." You answered, looking away to hide your face.

He responds by gently grabbing your chin and turning your head to face him again. "You're adorable... Will you... Will you... Be my partner?" He asks, in awe of your face.

"Ad... Of course I will..." You accept, leaning in, close to his face, as you see him blush, and lean in untill your faces are but a few centimeters away, waiting for him to make the last move.

He seems to understand, and leans in, closing the distance the rest of the way...

I have a question about the earlier chapters of LITD, it's been eating at my brain a bit thinking about it.

Basically i've been wondering if Grian would have died without intervention after the weakness potions? All the HC crew made it sound like Grian was dying like on deaths door, and everyone had to work to make sure he didn't in fact die because of the potions. So did Grian underestimate how weak he was and three potion's really might have been enough to kill him? Or did it just look like he was dying from the HC crew's perspective?

(ps also i'm obsessed with the LITD playlist and i'm listening to it nonstop and therorizing what might happen based on the song choices and also you have a banger taste in music aaaaaa)

This is such an excellent question!!! So Grian wasnt actively dying from the weakness potions-- my thoughts on potions and Watchers is that they just kinda interact a bit weirdly with Watcher biology, because they're created with Player utility code in mind and those are two separate codes inside two separate entities. Kinda like if you tried to give an alien aspirin; it might not be very effective, it might just plain kill them, it all sorta depends on how they would metabolize it and a million other factors.

The important point is that Grian took three weakness, which could absolutely kill a Player (and was indeed dangerous for him to take in his weakened state), and since the hermits at this point knew basically nothing about Watchers and Watcher biology, they treated the situation the way they would if another Player took the same amount. That combined with how physically frail and emaciated he looks, it really appeared that he was actively dying from the potions, and they didnt have the information necessary to understand that wasnt the case.

In many ways they still dont know a lot about Grian's situation, so they're coming at his care from the perspective of another Player. Its why Tango is so willing to believe him when he says he'll need five health potions to somewhat recover-- none of them know whether or not thats a lie, bc they know next to nothing about Watchers and how they work yet!!

im so sorry anon but im probably the worst when it comes to fic recs. I just started using the bookmark function on ao3 like last month. There's probably tons of fics that i've read and absolutely loved, but never saved and are just collecting dust in my history ToT

@cozyqueerchaos - I love every single piece they put out honestly and these fics are the reason i dipped my toes more into the sonic fandom years ago. they're THAT good. love them all.

@phantomruby - another wonderful fic writer that everyone should check out. "Slipping Away" makes me cry fr, although i haven't caught up on the latest updates. everything just makes my heart go oshfdsfhd

@chaoxfix - sonic fics are wonderful sonic takes are top notch i dig everything. the understanding of the characters and archie is just phenomenal.

@teamxdark - fell in love with the Tales of Avalon series and fell harder in love with the team dark Boomtober fics and dynamics and aaaaaa, wonderful writing and style.

Dreams Don't Come True by Skyblaze Summary: Short, mildly humorous fic with sonadow flavouring. It also takes the mickey extensively out of the Sonic the Hedgehog 2006 Next Gen game. Warning: not to be taken seriously.

Sniper was instructed to track the spy for a week, figure out his daily patterns, then put a bullet in his brain when no one is around. No one told him there would be a kid. An AU in which Spy raises Scout alone, and Sniper is hired to kill Spy.

Oh my fucking god i could go on about this fic. Sniperspy, Teen, TF2. filled with action and danger. Every time a new character would get introduced, i would have fun piecing together who they were in my mind. the first chapter already had me emotional, it's been in my brain for YEARS. And don't even get me STARTED with the twist at the end. holy shit.

Desmodontinae by Romiress Summary: Kirk wakes up in a Gotham that is not his own. A what-if, where Gods and Monsters Batman winds up in the DCU. Originally intended as a short oneshot, and expanded out into a small story, exploring the differences, struggles, and conclusions. Focuses primarily on Kirk Langstrom (G&M Batman), with a side or Hernan Guerra (G&M Superman), Damian Wayne, and Bruce Wayne. Guest appearances by various other Robins, Clark and Jon Kent, and several others.

The Gods and Monsters DC team means so much to me and oh my god this fic was made with so much love and care for the characters. It's been a while since i read it, but i remember this fic had me staying up literally all night, eagerly going through all the chapters, one at a time. i was in bed kicking my sheets quietly irl lmao.

As for worst and best hair in twst, I will write my thoughts below. I’ll go by dorm, so there is no particular order or ranking. Truthfully, I just wrote my thoughts and simped a lot. ^^;;;

Riddle - I love his hair!!! It’s very cute and red!!! <3 the little heart-shaped ahoge........ he’s the perfect man. The only man to ever exist. orz

Ace - a very fun hairstyle!!! It just looks so,,,, poofy???? Like if I pat his head, his hair will spring right back up because it’s so fluffy??? >_< it’s difficult to describe, but I like his hair a lot. The style suits Mr. Ace wonderfully!!!

Deuce - the color is so pretty!!! Deep navy blue... aaaa so beautiful!!! I don’t have many thoughts regarding his hairstyle, but I do think it fits a lot! It’s a clean, simple style that reflects how Deuce is trying so hard to keep a clean record and become a respectable honors student!! :D

Trey - he’s lucky he’s so good-looking and husband material and that I’m down astronomically bad for him, otherwise I would not be so prone to hyping up his hairstyle. It feels so plain, but then that’s the image Trey has at first glance and I think that's so perfect because you’ll never suspect he is actually quite mischievous!

Cater - I LOVE HIM AND HIS HAIRSTYLE OOOOOOO OTL it’s so fun!!!! The color is also very vibrant!!! But also I like picturing his hair down! All of the artwork I have seen of it... omg he looks so pretty aaaaaa!!! T_T

Leona - HE HAS THE MOST GORGEOUS HAIR AAAAAAAA there’s something about it that’s just,,,,, omg!!!!! Breathtaking. He’s beautiful. So stunning and show-stopping... orz I want to frame him in a picture and always admire him like the artwork he is.

Jack - at first I wasn’t very partial to his hairstyle, but it’s actually very pretty and pleasant!! I like the color (I am not immune to anime men with white/grey hair hehe) and I also like how nicely his ears are situated within his hair. :D it just works so well!!!

Ruggie - rugs..... aaaa he has a cute, messy hairstyle. <3 the sandy blond and the brown is too pretty!!! I could look at him forever hehe. Also his ears!!!! They’re just so adorable. I want to pat him on the head and give him a scratch behind the ears, but I think he would definitely bite me or swat my hands away. ;;;

Azul - ew. terrible tako. worst hair. lame. boo. tomato tomato. >:( (I need him. His hair is so pretty and fluffy and soft and angelic and he is a masterpiece and he has the best hair to run your fingers through while you're making out and the shaved undercut is really cool and I need him and he is so pretty and wow omg he is magnificent and beautiful and best hair.)

Jade & Floyd - I think they might break my ribs if I told them that in the beginning not only did I think they were horrendously unattractive, boring, and unflattering to look at, but I also didn’t like their hairstyle. LOL and now look at where I am.... ^^;;; I have since corrected my ways and now I find their hairstyles very appealing, especially the single dyed strand. It ended up growing on me. I like how even their hairstyles differentiate them and Jade’s explanation of how his hair strand forms a J so it’s easier to tell him and Floyd apart if you look closely at that detail… it’s actually quite cute. :D

Kalim - YES YES YES I LIKE HIS HAIR A LOT!!!!! Another man with white/grey hair who I adore. Every turban-like headband he wears for each of his outfits goes very well with his hairstyle. I just really enjoy it!!! It’s another one that’s hard to describe, but his hairstyle looks so nice and cute. <3

Jamil - his hair…. Where do I even begin? Omg it’s so so sosososososo pretty!!!! OTL the length and braids throughout and even the little metal hair ties(?)/accessories he wears in his hair!!!!! He is stunning. He is the moment. He is everything you could ever want. I’ve always loved Jamil’s hair, especially how long and pretty it looks!!! The color itself is very flattering as well.

Vil - of course I also love Vil’s hairstyle, but this is to be expected considering Vil serves in every outfit and style that ever graces his form!!! He’s so pretty. I understand why Rook hypes him up so much. The soft lavender dye goes so well with the blond!! He is indeed the fairest of them all in my eyes. He’s just so stunning… orz Vil, I am your number one fan and supporter.

Epel - aaaa eppy!!!! For a long while I had his exact hairstyle (and didn’t realize it until I was looking at card art for Epel and was left wondering why his hair looks so familiar), so naturally I love the style!!! His hair looks so soft and pretty, and the purple color is so nice to look at!!!

Idia - OMG HIS HAIR IS SO COOL (or maybe a better word is hot because it's fire)!!!!!!! It's an immaculate hair design... something about fire hair is so amazing, and it's blue and very long!!!! Seeing his hair in a braid in his applepom card continues to feed me. He's so cute. <3

Ortho - like Idia, Ortho's hair is also very cool because it's also fire!!! I find Ortho's entire design really interesting as well. Naturally, there's an explanation for why he is a robot (which is heartbreaking), but I still think it's a very neat character design. And his hair is so fun and bright!!! :D

Malleus - elegant... ethereal... he is beautiful... orz stunning. I bow before you and your beautiful hair, Mr. Horns.

Lilia - I have to appreciate Lilia and his beautiful hairstyle (even if the cut is,,,, certainly something). As someone who also loves to dye their hair neon pink, I must recognize his excellent hair. I also love the little hair strands that curl up to look like horns hehe!!

Silver - I am not immune to anime men with white/grey hair. Silver's hair looks so soft and gentle just like him. He's just so handsome and sweet. T_T like Kalim, Silver could do no wrong. The two of them are the biggest sweethearts in NRC.

Sebek - I genuinely do not know how to feel about his hair, but I think it's styled so cool. >:) he looks sharp. That's the only way I can describe my feelings. I feel as if I will touch his hair and it might cut me. >_< or Sebek himself will cut me before I dare lay a hand upon his head...

Che'nya - AAAA HIS HAIR!!!! Very cool!!!! He looks so scrunkly. No thoughts in his head except mischief. He is so :3c omg <3

Neige - the hairstyle makes him look so kind and gentle!!! I like the color as well. He could do no wrong. orz

Rollo - Rollo, I love you and I could defend you, but not when you're going out in public with that atrocious choir boy cut. But because his hair is white, he becomes even more appealing to me. Thus, I may be inclined to accept his hair. My friends may clown on me for liking him when he has that hairstyle, but he's cute to me. >:( he's lovely to me. He's boyfriend to me. >:(

Crowley - I will not lie....... the crow..... the annoying, cheap, oh-so-kind crow...... he's,,,,,,,,, kind of,,,,,, nice to look at........ although his hairstyle reminds me of seaweed and I don't know why. ^^;;;;

Crewel - WOOOOOOOOOOO forever barking for him. OTL the half white, half black hair... omg he's so cool. I need to be under him.

YOUR GAME IDEA IS GIVIMG ME BRAIN WORMS AGGHHHHHH-

A neat little thought I have is about injuries. Like after you brutally torture your poor whumpee, you can choose to treat wounds and such or leave them, and if left untreated for too long causes infection and their health to go down bit by bit everyday.

And if you constantly touch?? Torture?? Attack??? Idk I can’t find the word for it-the same wound/area over and over again there might be permanent consequences??

That second one might be a bit hard to implement..but it’s a neat thought! AAAAAA

Ooh! And a quick question (hope this isn’t too much-) how do you plan on adding the ‘feed and take care of whumpee’ thing. More specifically do you have to get food yourself or is that just an automatic thing?

kfsdjkfjKFJA i thought i answered this but apparently it just....... saved only the first paragraph of what i wrote and it never published????? tumblr u ok? so sorry to keep your ask waiting this long! ; ___ ; but feed your brainworms and make sure they stay inside your head, cuz there's going to be more updates soon! since you've sent this (and since i've tried to reply the first time around) i've managed to add a bunch of new features that will get their bigger update post soon-ish.

i really like the concept of treating wounds and the possibility of infections and permanent damage - that's definitely something i'll take a look at. for now there's a simple yet very modular damage system, where bruises slowly fade out and open wounds turn to scars over time. like this:

i suppose i could add a check where an untreated wound would change its state to an infected one after some amount of time instead of turning into a scar? i'll see!

feeding and taking care of your whumpee are for now just simple button prompts. honestly, i don't really know how it's going to end up looking in future builds - a minigame where you stich wounds would or prepare meals would be cool but it's not on the list of priorities right now.

A/N: Requested by @hinahaikyuu !!!! Thank u for being the first (again omg love u sm aaaaaa 🥺🥺🥺😭😭😭) requester !!! Im kinda nervous to serve up a yaku fic for another yaku stan i hope this isnt too horrible aetwhwhuwhw 😭😭 fake dating with yaku was quite a challenge so u know i HAD to over explain some stuff im so sorry-- but i had fun writing this one!! Thank u sm again for the request i hope u enjoy ehherh 💗💗💗

A week. You only had to endure this for a week. It’s really not that hard. At least, that’s what you had thought at first but looking at it now, you really doubt you can survive even a day of this.

“Uh…Yaku. I think I can-”

“No, let me do this.”

Yaku promptly cut you off before sliding your shoe off your foot. You should’ve seen this coming. Going on a date with your best friend would undoubtedly exhaust your leg at some point. You should’ve worn a more comfortable set of shoes. You knew this.

What you couldn’t have predicted however was Yaku fully getting into the whole “boyfriend” act and actually helped take off your shoes for you. You watched as he slid on another pair of shoes, a more comfortable one that he just bought at a nearby store.

He grinned when seeing how flustered you were. Oh he’s doing this on purpose all right. As much as you hated being teased by him like that, you couldn’t bring yourself to ask him to stop and as much as you didn’t want to, you had to admit, being spoiled by Yaku like this wasn’t half bad.

So, how did you even end up in this situation that could possibly lead to your heart bursting? Well, it all started with one person. Kuroo Tetsurou. He, who thought that the best idea to ward off a guy who’s been asking you out and pestering you nonstop was by making you and Yaku, your best friend, pretend to date each other. He, who had a knowing grin when suggesting that, as if he was hiding an ulterior motive unbeknownst to you. Sure, Yaku was a longtime crush of yours, but there’s NO WAY Kuroo would’ve known that. And even if he had known it, he couldn’t have possibly suggested that idea to set you and Yaku up together, right? (That’s completely untrue, he would most definitely do that, without a doubt.)

And Yaku. He didn’t look completely against the idea when it was first brought up. In fact, you could almost see a glimmer of shine in his eyes when he heard that, though you could be mistaken. But more than anything, he prioritised your opinion. You weren’t against the idea either. It could work, and not to mention you and Yaku were close to each other, so it won’t be much of a problem, right?

Well, you see, that’s where you’re absolutely wrong. It became a huge problem, especially to your heart. Yaku was still the Yaku you’re familiar with. But somehow he’s different. He’s not your best friend Yaku Morisuke that you had a crush on anymore. No, he made himself feel like he’s more than that. He made you feel like you both were more than just friends.

Sure, you were supposed to be dating in the first place. That was the plan. To act like you were dating.

'But it was supposed to be an ACT!' a part of your mind screamed. 'How the hell is he making this all look, FEEL, genuine??'

Yaku took your hand, holding it firmly in his, before smiling down at you.

"Let's continue this date if you're feeling alright. Don't worry, we'll take it slow this time. There's still some more stuff I wanna show that I'm sure you'll love-"

"What do you like about me?"

Yaku's smile faded upon hearing your question. You didn't dare to look at his face, feeling mortified at yourself. What the hell did you just ask him?

"I mean! We're fake dating now, right? So like, what if someone asked that? How would you answer? I'm curious ahaha…."

Yaku snorted, he could definitely see right through you. It's so painfully obvious that you were trying to save the situation by adding that explanation. But still, he'll let it slide this time.

"Well, to start off,"

He began walking, and you followed closely behind him, not wanting to miss anything he said, while your hands were still clasped together.

"I like…no, I love how dazzling you are. No matter what you do or how you look, you always seem to shine. You shine so brightly in fact, sometimes I had to look away."

He stopped in front of a small trinket shop before leading you inside. He made his way through the shelves full of small shiny decorations, before picking up a small star made of glass and handing it to you.

"Like a star. You're a sight for sore eyes, and you brighten the dark night sky."

You both exited the shop after (Yaku) purchased the glass star. He then led you to another shop, this time a classy looking cafe.

He had asked you about what you would like to order, but you, still in a trance at what he just said previously, mindlessly blurted out the first thing that came to your mind. He smiled, before continuing,

"I love the way you make me feel. You make me feel at ease with your presence. It's comforting. Even without saying a single word, being with you…"

Your orders arrived and he thanked the waiter before facing you once again.

"It's so cosy. Like a cup of warm coffee during winter days."

He took a sip of his drink, letting you slowly process his words. He didn't mind waiting for your response. He'll wait for you no matter how long it takes.

"...oh my god...why?"

"Why what?"

You clenched your fists, hoping that it'll somehow slow down your rapidly beating heart. If you're honest, you're worried that it might actually explode at this rate.

"Why…why do you sound so...genuine? We're just acting like we're dating. It's all just an act, a fake. So why on earth-"

"Are you upset because you think it's all just an act?"

You fell silent at his words. You couldn't say anything to that. Because he's right. You were upset. Him saying all of this to you, causing your heart to go wild, only for it all to be just an act? Of course it would upset you.

"If you are, then I'll let you in on a secret."

You looked at him, confused. His right hand reached out to you before softly placing it on top of your left cheek. With a sigh and slightly reddish face, he whispered just enough for you to hear him clearly.

hellooo!! scrolled so far down your blog, i witnessed the creation of the chaotic universe. so! i am quite interested in this angle of the lore and worldbuilding of your if: gods serve humans, and exist almost intimately with them to the point of the former having a parental role, and even celebrating the ceremony of the twelve with them present.

this is refreshing from the familiar concept that gods are superior to mortals and only interact and bless who they deem worthy; in contrast to these deities that appreciate gifts but don't demand them and smite people (unless...? do they grant boons too?). i don't know how to tie this in with what i'll say next bc my thoughts are a mess but i hope i get them across properly aaaaaa and you don't have to answer this because i'm sure it's heading into spoiler territory and i just wanted to get this out so:

with what i said above, there has to be some sort of flaw. things between nero and ellera are tense*, and rafaele would like them to reconcile. similarly, nero thinks (or will think) alessi is doing the right thing (and doesn't like ellera's rules), while rafaele believes otherwise. just what about their divine rule is oppressive, or wrong, to the point where one of their own disapproves, and mortals started to rebel?

"Since time unknown, the same gods have existed to bring order to the world; could Alessi disrupt the current pantheon of divinity?" is what it says on alessi's profile. i have a few other thoughts on why as humans (in this setting at least. a nearly utopian and united world from what i can tell so far) they wouldn't want to be under the jurisdiction of gods, power dynamics aside. when rafaele said "Humans are happy now, anyway," i immediately thought, "or are they, father? ಠಿ_ಠ" because i think that with a prosperous group of people, there will always be others who have been overlooked. my mc would be the type to witness all of this from the sidelines (watching it all crash and burn!!), but since i'm guessing that isn't an option, they'll have to woo alessi into being accepted into their... army? (on that note, imagine the look of betrayal on salvatore or rafaele's face when they realize which side you chose haha ;-; ,,, assuming that you didn't win them over to yours. can we do that?)

i haven't even started on the existence and creation of gods,, how do you kill a god anyway? "with another god." ** "Normally, humans do not withstand a chance -- but in the right circumstances and with the right tools, along with will of the universe..." hmmm BUT i also saw that one ask with "The creation myth of the Kono people and Uroboros are both "ex nihilo", in which the world was in a state of Chaos -- a violent, turbulent time until the deities gave order to it." would that mean that without the gods...? is this similar to alessi defying death? (which i guess is related to the universe being in pain during the prologue, something that i speculate might have happened as well when that mortal ascended, because the universe was Defied) and!! "ex nihilo" literally means "out of nothing", deity of eternity, however nothing lasts forever,,, are you mathing with me

insert into this rambling, the seer, noemi. it would break my heart for the mc to hope that they might hold the answers to mc's role in all of this, what, if anything, went wrong with their revelation, if anything is wrong with them and their connection to the universe, and is there really nothing else you can tell me?

this became longer than i intended oh god,, normally i'm more of a peace and harmony enthusiast but the conflict in this if just stimulates me so much !! i'm sorry if this is a pain to read through—this is my way of telling you your work activates my happy brain chemicals xoxo

*i've always found disputes and general animosty between gods entertaining, and i'm sure my mc would love to meddle with all of that. from afar, though. they wouldn't want to get directly involved or found out. The link worked and I must say it has SO much to do with Uroboros and I'm eating it up!! It actually called me out on so many things about the concept of the afterlife in the IF... I can't say too much, but I'll say Hera and Apollo in your post's link are onto something when it comes to mortals, whereas Hades is closer to the concept of death for gods!

You who has had protected sex this whole time with random people but started to wonder what raw sex feels like. What it feels like when someone cums inside you. You’re hoping he gets the hint and start getting more touchy with him. Placing your hand on his chest to say “have you been working out? Oh my god” and wiping off any food on his face with your thumb to then proceed to slowly lick it off.

He can’t help it ofc and falls into your trap hook line and sinker. One night, you’re out at the student bar with your friends and spot him and his little group. Everyone knows each other, no need for introductions, so you start buying shots to build up your courage to approach him. 5 shots in and you’re ready, your friends all know that you’re trying to shoot your shot with him now (finally)

You walk up to him, link hands with him and say “let dance” and of course he lets you take him. The music was good, too good to the point you wonder if you could get away with some more scandalous moves on him. So you turn around, grab his hands and place them on your hips and start grinding your ass on him. And boy did he love it, I mean you think he does, you can feel his dick getting harder against you and that’s enough proof for you. He was so overwhelmed and but started to move at your pace, gripping your hips harder and harder, he brings his mouth down to your neck and starts kissing.

He can taste the salt on your skin and it drives him crazy. Fuck, is he allowed to do this. Do you realise what you’re doing?? Are you really interested in him or is this all in his head? You turn your head and meet his lips and that answered all his questions.

1. Fav characters besides Lum and Ataru ?? Aaaaa I would have to go with the big three:

RAN: she’s so fockin funny and her personality switch up is my fav and not to mention her character design is BEAUTIFUL like I feel like if you saw a pic of Ran without knowing any of the characters you would think she’s the main protagonist

SHINOBU: it’s crazy how Shinobu was originally the main character alongside Ataru before Lum was (I know she was robbed from the spotlight and her man but STILL) and I love how insane hers and Lum’s rivalry was like holy shit I felt so bad for Shinobu. But as the series progressed I’m glad the two became friends and the awkward tension between the three characters died down (Shinobu, Lum, and Ataru). I also luv how much of a sweet heart and has such a gentle voice, but could flip a bus if she needed to AND be beating TF out of men 10x her size.

2. Okay funniest moments aaaaaa I would say there’s too many to count but I think one would be the time where Lum was training to fight this bully without her powers to prove to a underclassmen like “you can do anything if you put your mind to it.” And Lum arm wrestles Ataru and just completely fails and when Mendo gets a turn she just SHOCKS THE SHIT OUTTA HIM

Another would be the time with the gossiping flowers, and everyone thinks Mendo wet the bed when he was younger when it was actually Lum and she just LEAVES HIM OUT TO DRY AND TAKE THE BLAME. Wait now that I realize it these are just when Mendo gets hurt by Lum, I PROMISE I DONT DISLIKE MENDO AT ALL IT’S JUST FUNNY

3. Moments I’m most excited for the show, look I know Urusei Yatsura isn’t only about Atalum and I like the episodes we’re getting but CMONNN. WE’RE GETTING SO MUCH ATALUM CENTERED EPISODES AND IM SO SO SO EXCITED IM EATING PLYWOOD. Particularly very happy to see the Inaba arc (finally Shinobu gets a good man even though it’s kinda rushed) and the Boy Meets Girl ending AAAAAAAAA IDC IF ITS THE SAME SCENES WE’VE SEEN TWICE ALREADY IM ENJOYING EVERY MINUTE OF IT.

But Tysm Yume for the ask !! I could go on for hours talking about this series bc I’m literally in UY BRAINROT but I hope you have a GUD dayyy 💗💗💗

Could I possibly ask for TFP Bulkhead, Ratchet and another other bots of your liking (if you'd like) with a male s/o who absolutely loves how cool they look? Knows all about cars and geeks out seeing them because they just look so damn awesome? Always loves to ride in their alt modes as well because, awesome fucking alt mode, and it's really comfy and he loves to just chat happily with them. Tends to fall asleep in their back seat as well or even on them when I'm bot mode. I just love these robot aliens so much grrrr they're so cool looking

Bulkhead

Congrats! You probably know more about the schematics of his alt mode than he does

He isn't used to being fawned over in this manner, and honestly finds all the attention to be a bit embarrassing (in a good way!). That doesn't mean he doesn't appreciate it, he just gets rather flustered if you compliment him more than like twice in a short time

Has no issues with you riding around in his alt mode, and even volunteers to drive you places if he's got the time

The first time you fell asleep in his alt mode he was worried something had happened to you and he hadn't noticed. After being woken up by his voice asking if you were okay, he was taken aback when you said you had fallen asleep because you found his seats to be so comfortable

He'll ask if you've been getting enough sleep, and then apologize for waking you up

Having you fall asleep on him when he was in bot mode was quite a shock! He didn't think metal plating would be comfortable enough to sleep on, but here you were anyways

Afterwards you explain that he's just so warm and you trust him to keep you from falling. He really isn't used to being seen as somebody safe enough to fall asleep on; he's a wrecker and an all around big bot, but he's touched that you consider him someone you can sleep around

Will happily listen to you talk about cars even if he doesn't really understand what you're talking about. He's got a few questions, but mostly he's content to listen and absorb information

Ratchet

The first time you tell him how cool you find his alt mode to be, he tells you to go hang out at the hospital

Honestly tunes out your rambling at the start, choosing to focus on his work than whatever it is you're saying. He grows fond of your voice over time, though, and finds a balance between work and listening

Though he'd never say it out loud, he finds the sheer amount of trivia you know about vehicles to be rather endearing

Any questions you have about Cybertronian alt modes and vehicles he's willing to answer, even pulling up diagrams and old texts to support his 'lessons'

You don't often get to see his alt mode, but when you do he can't help but feel a bit flustered at the level of excitement you show

It's even more rare that he'll offer a ride, only having done so a few times in the span of your relationship. If he sees that you're particularly upset about something, he'll ask if you want to go for a drive, claiming he needs a break from work

If he's in an especially good mood he might even offer to drive with the sirens on

He isn't too surprised the first time you fall asleep in his alt mode; it's an ambulance and the seats are surprisingly plush. If there aren't any pressing matters to attend to, he's content driving around for a while until you wake up on your own

He's still gonna chastise you for not getting enough rest, even if you have been. There's nothing wrong with napping, he says, just don't make a habit of it

Ratchet's been the one to pick you up a few times, and each time he can't help the affectionately lighthearted sigh at your obvious glee as you run over to him
