Ok, i’ve got a kind of out of pocket idea but hear me out…

Horror Sans has someone else’s eye, right? His original eye was his main magic source, and it’s been replaced.

Horror is often portrayed as having very low magic in the fandom, often with the ability to summon a few bones or a blaster if he’s lucky.

BUT, hear me out, his magic source has changed. The magic keeping him sustained is different magic…

What if, when and if he is able to summon attacks or use magic outside of strictly survival functions, his shift in magic means he steals new abilities from this new source.

The eye he took is from a royal guard member (shown in the horrortale comic itself) and while we don’t know the exact magic type of this monster, if we ASSUME most of the guards use the same abilities as these two…

(clearly different monsters using the same attack patterns in unison)^^

Then I think it would be very interesting to consider Horror using these new patterns as well, instead of his original attacks.

If he IS able to manifest this magic into anything (as in after he’s hypothetically able to properly sustain said magic with actual food and such.)

ALSO CONSIDER;

These guards utilize healing magic (the green shield replenishes health upon touching it.)

Meaning Horror could, hypothetically, access the ability to heal as well…

I think the logic is sound, if nothing else it’s a fun idea!!

…Or maybe i just like the idea of Horror throwing star attacks like a magical princess :))

something i see people talk about often is adhd paralysis aka when you have things you need to/want to do but it all seems overwhelming and you can't seem to get up off the couch even though ur screaming in your head to just do something

what i want to know about it the physical sensation. yes, there's the mental struggle where you are yelling at yourself and berating yourself to do something, anything, but what does it feel like physically? because to me (and i'm not being hyperbolical) it feels like suffocating. if you have ever experienced sleep paralysis, it feels like that: this suffocating weight on me and the overwhelming feeling that I can't even move and it makes it almost hard to breathe.

Am I supposed to take it that by burning the club book pages, Jeeves is effectively forfeiting his membership in the Junior Ganymede? Okay here me out on this one - I haven’t had time to check if this is even plausible but what if Apple was cursed?

Like it’s often pointed out how Apples character development was totally lost in dragon games, but what if that wasn’t true?

Like we know Jackie and Northwind got the mirror shards that cursed the snow king and queen from EQ’s mirror.

And like Apple was right there. I feel like she easily could have gotten glass in her eyes.

And I mean I don’t think saying that it twisted what everyone was saying but maybe it twisted her perception of what everyone was saying.

Like if they said she looked nice it would sound sarcastic etc. so if she felt everyone was being rude to her, it’s entirely plausible she would fall back on her own opinions of destiny.

Like it’s highly likely that she could have thought ‘since I changed, and everyone else changed life has been worse’ so she would want to make everything go back to the way it was before

And then yk the way that the snow king didn’t see Jackie’s words as twisted, maybe it was the same for EQ.

Or maybe everyone’s intentions are changed when your cursed by the glass. Like ppl who mean we’ll sound rude and people with bad intentions sound good.

Or maybe it was just a coincidence that Jackie and Northwind’s words didn’t get twisted and the reason why it worked out in EQ’s favour is bc it was her mirror.

Grishaverse knitting update! (2)

My stuffing arrived today (I vastly underestimated just how much stuffing one kilogram would be so now I have like an endless supply of the stuff lol) so I made another toy crow!

If you’ve not seen me talk about this before several months ago I had a bad day and my response to that, naturally, was to knit myself a tiny toy crow and then knit that crow a tiny hat and name the crow Jesper, and I’ve always meant to knit the rest of the crows but never got round to it. So a week or so ago I bought some new black yarn and I knitted all the pieces for a new crow, only to discover I was out of stuffing.

My stuffing arrived today so I sewed and stuffed all the pieces to created a new tiny toy crow and then knit that toy crow and tiny bomb and a tiny pair of welding goggles and then name the crow Wylan. He looks absolutely adorable and they look so cute together on my shelf I’m so happy, if you guys want a photo I can put one up but I am on a roll and intend to knit the other four as soon as possible so I’ll probably put a photo of all six of them up together when they’re done anyway.

(Btw I have no idea who is gonna be next because my method for deciding so far has been to make them, look at them and decide whose vibe their giving off, and then subsequently make the correct accessories)

Also: I would very much appreciate it if anyone could suggest any accessories for the Matthias crow? Because Kaz’s will have a cane, Inej’s will have a knife (or two), and I think Nina’s is doing to have a little heart (though I’m not set in stone on that), but I don’t know what to give Matthias
