I have no idea what Dulcinea is teaching or even doing here. Neither does Gideon. And no one cares. Except for Harrow. She cares a lot.
God the more I draw her, the more I love giving Gideon some longer hair...

Rating: NOT CUTE
This one-room enclosure is much too small for a Palamedes, and there’s only one book provided for enrichment. A Palamedes hides its signs of distress well, but to an expert, this one is clearly uncomfortable. The book is a filthy historical romance, which is an appropriate choice for a Palamedes, but a Palamedes needs an entire library in order to be truly comfortable, and providing it with anything less is cruel and irresponsible.
Furthermore, a Palamedes rarely enjoys complete solitude. Responsible owners should provide a large enough enclosure so that the Palamedes can enjoy the company of a Camilla or a Dulcinea, or even both. Camillas and Dulcineas occupy different ecological niches, and are unlikely to compete for resources.
An adventurous keeper might even want to provide the Palamedes with the company of a Harrowhark, but bear in mind that, while the Palamedes will express its enjoyment of the Harrowhark’s company, the Harrowhark will express anger and distrust. This is not a distress sign. Harrowharks enjoy claiming to be angry and distrustful of a Palamedes, and a Harrowhark will enjoy spending time in a library with the Palamedes.

Escribir siempre ayuda.
Consigo decirte todo lo que provocas en mí, pero tú ni siquiera sospechas que el verso va contigo.

It deeply amuses me how John was so hands off he managed to create a situation where post-pool-scene *maybe one* of his Necros would have killed their Cavs if asked for the sake of the empire, and it *wasn't even Silas*. Like you create an entire house of intensely religious nuts and the most principled stance we ever see one take is "this is either not what God wants or God is *evil*". Judith seems like she would, but I think AYU (AYUS? AUS?) proves otherwise. Ianthe very clearly failed. Isaac... Isaac I actually feel might have. The fourth were pretty screwed up. Abigail, hell no. Pal, demonstrably not. OG Dulcinea, probably made peace with her death and wouldn't kill a man to live. And Harrow, even before the pool scene, clearly had some conflicted feelings. *At most* he could have gotten two proper Lictors out of the experiment, for the 4th and 9th, and then he'd have to kill all the other house heirs to cover it up, and then cover *that* up, because you *know* Abigail and Pal and Silas would just immediately spill the beans upon getting home.

I've done it! I'm happy enough with the 10 Locked Tomb tea blends I've been fiddling with all this winter that it's time to make them available to the public! I've made blends for:
Camilla
Coronabeth
Dulcinea
Gideon
Harrowhark
Ianthe
John
Nona
Palamedes
Phyrra
My favorites are: Coronabeth, Gideon, John, Palamedes, and Phyrra.
If you are into tea and want to try them out, you can get them here on Adaigo. I'd love to know what you think! I'm usually a coffee person so I'd be interested to see if I've created a load of hot garbage some how lol I plan on making more soon!

Since I’m a normal person and this idea would not leave my head, I spend the whole afternoon making a Shrek’s world map with all the places we see in the full Shrek’s franchise (including Puss in Boots spinoffs)
It's obviously derivative from our world. I tried to make it make sense between what the places look like in the movies and the travelling the characters seems to be doing between each places.
The places Shrek goes to looks like western europe/USA inspired, while Puss in Boots movies and series looks like a mix between Spain, south of US, and Mexico, so I tried to blend all the inspirations.
Feel free to comment of stuff that doesn’t make sense or I might have missed.

The name Dulcinea comes from the Latin word dulce, meaning sweet, which is even more evident when people shorten it to to Dulcie, which is very appropriate for her.
However, it also reminds me of the poem 'Dulce et decorum est' - a poem about young people being persuaded to go to war only to either die or be horribly traumatised. The poem's name comes from the line 'The old Lie: Dulce et decorum est Pro patria mori.'
This fits with the theme of John Gaius lying to the Lyctors, their necromancers, and anyone who's ever fought for John in the Cohort: the lie that they're suffering or dying for a worthy cause. Which is exactly why Cytherea, posing as Dulcie, wanted to kill him.
