Evan Rosier in a British High School HCs

At parent's evening he always "shows promise but should participate more"

Girls had a crush on Evan until someone sat next to him in biology and tried talking to him while they were dissecting a frog or something and he looked at them for too long whilst holding the scalpel and now he's the "hear me out" crush

He would refuse to answer questions when picked on by the teacher, he'd just sit there and stare, maybe shake his head if he's feeling feisty that day

He once stared at the bunsen burner for too long and he's no longer allowed to use them in practical science activities

In my class at school we were shown a satirical documentary about child predators during a Media Studies lesson, Evan would be the only one to find it funny whilst the rest of the class are like "it's so disgusting that they'd joke about that". It was the only time anyone saw him laugh in school.

He didn't do the coursework in year 9 for one subject he didn't like so just never handed it in and avoided that teacher for the rest of his years school.

He was on the gifted and talented programme for a subject and then two years later only passed the exam by 1 mark because he was no longer interested.

In geography, his model volcano wasn't allowed to be shown for class because he'd put stones in the crater and stick figures for the people that would have died for accuracy.

He worked in the library and liked it because he got to read when it was quiet. If it was busy he'd hide between the shelves and pretend to put books away.

He'd smoke behind the bike shed and that's how he met Barty. One time they got caught and were asked if they were smoking. Evan said "no" and a cloud of smoke came out of his mouth.

During sex ed he was sat with a group of other loners who were really awkward and refusing to put the condom on the dildo. Evan rolled his eyes, did it expertly and then put it back in the middle of the table. Barty watches across the classroom with a smirk knowing why he could do it so quickly.

Random marauders headcanons!!

Sirius does not like physical touch unless it's a bro hug with James or Remus is touching him. He can make an exception if someones really upset tho

Regulus is one of those people who smoke then aggressively cough after. He tries to hide it when he smokes with Barty and Evan but he doesn't do great 😭

Barty is either sickly sweet to people (Pandora, Dorcas, Lily, Evan ect) or grabs at every opportunity to insult them (James, Sirius, not as much Remus funnily enough). And if he actually hates them he just punches them

Peter can breakdance strangely well??

Marlene doesn't wear makeup apart from an eyeliner pencil. Not in a pick me kinda way she just genuinely does not know what the fuck to do 😭

Regulus's favourite chocolate is white, and he loves sugar. Sirius is the opposite, he likes dark chocolate and doesnt mind sugar but it's definitely not his favourite

Dorcas is genuinely so sarcastic and funny, but Pandora does not understand sarcasm. My girl is confused

Peter is a silent judger. He will give you dirty looks and side eyes but if you ask what the problem is he's like 'nothingg...'

Mary really suits red and wears mostly that but she buys all her room decorations pink

Lily's favourite flowers are daisies. James always gets her Lilys and she finds it endearing, she doesn't tell him that tho (i love jegulus too don't bite me)

Majority of them smoke but Sirius, Remus and Barty do it most often. Remus doesn't like Sirius doing this. On the contrary, Pandoras never touched a cig in her life

Sirius and Regulus both have French accents, but Sirius's fades over the years. Of course, in some words he has a little French flair.

Pandora lets bugs crawl on her unless it's a hosile one. In that case, she gently scoops it of her and puts it where its safe

Lily and mary lie next to eachother in bed with facemasks on and they just sit in comfortable silence

Dorcas has really long natural nails. Her and Marls are both on the asexual spectrum so she doesn't need to trim them unless it's once in a blue moon.

Marlene sits cross-legged like a child whenever she can (same)

I don't think we as a fandom give Evan Rosier enough time of day. we don't make him the focus of headcanons but instead make him a side character to Regulus or Barty. Long story short, he gets the Peter treatment, and that's not fair to either of them!! give me Evan headcanons that aren't just about Barty (even tho I love rosekiller). What's his favorite color? what's his patronus? Was he even a fighter or was he just dragged into the war to follow his friends? I want more people to talk about him.

I think now is a good time to share my thoughts on Marauders as ice-cream flavours. But instead of being a nice simple list, it will be a mess hehe.

You might think you already know a lot of what I am about to say, and you're probably wrong.

Firstly strawberry, sorta basic but fruity. Except when you think fruity you don't usually think strawberry. Lily. Lily Evans is infact sorta basic (in a complex way, in a she is Rory Gilmore way) but love her for it, and she is infact fruity.

You are probably guessing Remus is chocolate cause duh and James is caramel. But caramel is sweet but salty. James isn't salty. You know who is ? REMUS !

James is cookies and cream. Period.

Peter is bubblegum 100% I will not be elaborating.

No one is getting vanilla cause vanilla is the worse (anti vanilla) and no one deserves that. I was thinking Severus for a sec but no. He gets pistachio

Sirius, mint chocolate yeah ? No, that makes no sense. So then Regulas mint choc ? Nope. Reg is blueberry and Mary is rasberry swirl. It just makes sense.

So who gets mint choc ? Bellatrix, cause she gets a lot of hype and I see why but like, if you are to pick your favourite ice-cream flavour, and you say mint choc. Like really ? That is all I need to know about you... Also mint choc has this little bite to it so yeah, Bellatrix

Rainbow ice-cream. Ahh this one is Sirius, cause he just screams gay. No. Rainbow ice-cream is just vanilla with colour, it taste the same but you don't think it does cause the colours make it better. I am sorry but you are Lucius.

I was gonna make Sirius mango, cause mango ice-cream is iconic, fruity and iconically fruity. But Sirius is far to extra for that. That is why Marlene is mango and Sirius is watermelon. I will not be taking criticism.

Dorcas gets rainbow sherbet cause it is lesbian and so is she.

If Remus isn't chocolate who is I hear you say, Alice and Frank. They definitely share that category.

I don't think Pandora has one flavour, she just has many mixed together. It just makes sense.

Barty is lemon. Because I love lemon, it a little sour and always surprises me, as well as it is technically fruity. So yeah, Barty.

And Narcissa is that pretty purple one (called Ube) cause she is pretty, photogenic and not like other girls. I am in love with Cissy. But also, Ube sounds so fancy and above everyone else, along with I am scared to try it, like what actually is it ? I am confused.

Oh and Evan, he doesn't get a flavour cause he is lactose intolerant. He just gets the cone with tons of toppings in it (yes I know this is about what they would be, not what they are getting, but I don't care, he just doesn't get a flavour.) (because yes this is an excuse to share this hc of Evan)

saw someone say we don’t talk about evan rosier enough so here are some of my thoughts/headcanons bc he’s always on my mind

that boy sleeps like the dead and he gives you murder eyes if you wake him up

he’s quieter in group settings and will murmur funny things to barty only for barty to repeat the same thing louder and everyone laughs and thinks he’s the funny one

he’s the friend who listens to you as you tell a story even if everyone else has stopped paying attention

he giggles a lot when he’s drunk and it’s really endearing

he’s effortlessly cool. like he’ll throw on the most ridiculous outfit combination bc he hasn’t done laundry in a week but his friends would think it’s this new fashion trend and they try to replicate it themselves (they can never pull it off like evan can)

he wears glasses/contacts. his glasses are always dirty and smudged and pandora will steal them off of his face to clean them bc he never does

he protects his alone time. if he’s feeling overwhelmed one day, he’ll bail last minute on the plans he had with friends and just sit alone in his room happily and listen to music

he’s a lyrics over melody guy (which also plays into how cool he is) he’ll stumble upon new artists on spotify and listen to their entire discography to understand the meaning of every song. his playlists go hard but also may lead to questioning your existence

he’s a really good cook because he’s patient and enjoys the routine/challenge of making something, but he doesn’t do it very often. it’s usually random recipes he wants to try, or he’ll make a nice home cooked meal for barty. otherwise, it’s frozen meals or take out all the time

like regulus, he has the biggest RBF. everyone thinks he hates them when they first meet him, but (unlike with regulus) they’re *usually* wrong (some exceptions ofc)

Evan loves winter. So much. And everything that comes with it, meaning that he also loves Christmas, which you’d never guess, really. But one day Barty comes back to the dorm to find Evan, who appears to have been trying to study, entranced by the snow outside the window and humming “holly jolly christmas”. After some light teasing from Barty, in which Evan denies even liking Christmas at all, Barty realizes how much Evan actually does love Christmas. And so now, every year on the first day of December, Evan always wakes up to find the dorm (or, when they’re older, their apartment) covered with Christmas decorations; elaborately cut out snowflakes hanging from the ceiling, strands of christmas lights draped around the room, christmas garlands wrapped around windowsills and hung in doorframes, and on one memorable occasion, actual snow falling from the ceiling onto his bed. And he lightly teases Barty, who, much like Evan did, denies everything, but Evan knows better. Because how else would Barty know precisely when and where to stand to catch Evan right under the mistletoe that only appears at random points throughout the day?

i believe that Evan was on the quidditch team but not Barty, and that he played as a beater

i think Evan wears a lot of jewelry that he steals from his family,

Evan's patronus is a fox

Evan was petty, like he did a lot of things just out of spite. The type of person to jump off a cliff because someone told him he wouldn't do it, and Barty is such an enabler

Evan's hands and arms are constantly covered in little drawing's because both Barty and Pandora like to doodle,

Evan and Reg were childhood friends,

Remus and Evan were actually pretty good friends,

Evan isn't much of a reader but he will read anything if Barty suggests it to him, because he absolutely loves seeing him ramble

he absolutely loves coffee, but hates tea with a burning passion

he has hypersomnia, and will sleep anywhere and everywhere

Evan loves makeup, but he hates doing his own, he will only do Dorcas' and Pandora's, and occasionally Barty's, but he hates the sensory of having it on his own face

Evan's favorite flowers are marigolds,

Evan's favorite class is DADA, and he is insanely good at it, but don't think he won't pretend to be stumped to ask Barty for help,

Evan and James had beef for like, a while. Even Barty and James became friend's before them, and whenever people ask Evan why, he says "I don't like men with glasses." (it's because he likes messing with Regulus)

Evan is the only person other than Pandora that Regulus will say out loud that he enjoys being around (maybe it's a Rosier thing)

Dorcas has designed most of Evan's tattoos

Evan was a prefect and the head boy for his year

Pandora and Evan can just look at eachother to know what the other is thinking, and Pandora is usually the one to help Evan when he's upset

Evan is insanely good at dueling, but he's very nonchalant about it

Evan once got his wand disarmed in a duel with one of the other hogwarts students, and he then proceeded to shout "muggle way!" and punch them in the face,

he has gotten into detention for sleeping in class, and then just slept in detention,

he is actually the most clumsiest uncoordinated guy ever, and he has scratches and bandaids all over him 24-7 (and the bandaids are always colored and themed)

he is possessive as fuck, he will actually glare anyone down that even looks in Barty's direction and will proceed to plan a murder,

Evan likes putting little braids in people's hair all the time, and which is the reason why both Reg and Barty have them all over their hair,

Evan figures out Dorcas likes Marlene before Dorcas herself figures it out,

Evan goes nonverbal when stressed, and he paces a ton,

Evan is so used to Barty's clinginess that when someone hugs him from behind he just knows its him,

Barty and Evan share beds a ton, and the first time it happened was because Barty was having a hard day and Evan snuck in and held him through the night,

Evan cries when he's mad,

He has a marble collection, because Mcgonagall has a jar of them in her classroom that he has been slowly stealing from since first year

Evan is completely and totally scared of all bugs ever, and he has to get reg or barty to kill them when they get into the dorm,

Evan cannot run at all, he is on the quidditch team but he has no strength in his legs whatsoever,

Evan was insanely good at muggle cooking, and he always wanted to be chef , have a restaurant and live in a muggle city,

Evan Rosier Headcanons:

I think his favourite colour is red because his mother grows the most beautiful red roses and the colour remind him of her.

Evan's dad died when he was young, so young that he doesn't remember the man at all.

I think Evan and Pandora are cousins just as I think Evan and Bellatrix, Andromeda and Narcissa are cousins. Evan and Pandora's dads are twins and then they've got Druella who is their older sister.

Evan is a big-time mama’s boy, and he only speaks French with her because she doesn’t feel as confident in English. Even with other people, he usually translates for her.

Evan and his mum are very close and she’s probably a little too dependent on him. This probably comes, in part, from the fact that he's been the "head of Rosier house" since he was basically an infant. If it was up to her he would never marry because she thinks no one is good enough for her son.

I think Evan’s patronus would be a swan because they symbolise grace in dealing with others as well as commitment which is something I think really stands out in Evan. I also just think a beautiful animal who can have a horrible temper (I’ve been bitten by a swan, they can be nasty fucks) fits Evan very well.

I think he was a fighter to the very end, this is even proven by the whole “he took some of Moody with him when he went” thing, because if there’s one thing about Evan it’s that when he does something he does it with his whole person.

He obviously knew Regulus from before Hogwarts with their families being connected and all (they're like??? sort of cousins but not blood cousins or like a cousin's cousin or something weirdly complicated that I can't be assed to figure out) but they weren't close until they got to know each other at Hogwarts. They were also roommates.

I think Evan is really shy about PDA because in his head everything has to be proper.

He seems like the kind of guy who’d polish his shoes just so he could kick you in the face with a clean shoe.

If we indulge in a bit of RoseKiller, I don’t think he made the first move.

I think a lot of his feelings are unsaid and rather shown through his body language. His eyes will linger on a person he’s worried about, he’ll stand closer to you, even if in private he’ll tangle his fingers with the person he cares for, calloused hands desperate to bring some sort of comfort he can’t say with just words.

He’s well-spoken yet always think he falls short when trying to express himself. For this reason, he's actually very quiet.

He's really fascinated by bones and would collect them as a child. He's got multiple expensive and very old wizarding artefacts that feature bones.

"That's hot, wish I had seen it." Barty pouts as he sends another curse in their enemies general direction.

Evan twirls the bloody eye around in his hand. "Would you accept it as a symbol of my love?"

"Gift it to me on a ring and we'll see, Rosier."

"A ring you say." Evan smirked. "Then I guess I'll get to call you Rosier."

then a green light strikes him and he dies, Barty keeps the eye ofc 🤪
