dnf are like that theory in Greek mythology where humans were originally created with four arms, four legs and two faces and were one whole being and Zeus ordered Apollo to Split them apart because he feared their power, so all these split apart humans had to then go searching for their other half for the rest of their lives. that's like dnf, they're each others, other half and they were seperated for so long but even with that separation had such a strong connection and bond and just understood each other, cared for each other, loved each other so much. Like I think about it all the time how they were always on calls for so long with one another that they eventually picked up on little movements the other did and knew when the other person was on their damn phone or when they were eating something! Hell even what they were eating sometimes. They became so deeply intertwined with one another without even being together in person and now they're finally together and not seperated across an ocean and are still probably learning new things about each other that they couldn’t know without being together and probably loving every minute of it. and you can just tell how much happier they are now in their body language, in the way they look at each other in the way they take up each others space, they are so happy to be together and just exist with one another. i think if they could fuse they would but since they can't they're always touching somehow or really close to one another to stay connected in each others spaces, being together in ways they couldn't before and now they're two complete halves of each other turned whole :’)

i haven't been asked this! i think... but i'll answer repeat questions anyway, so no problemo there. ANYWAY, let's see... underrated episode huh. i have a couple actually: Mr. Monk and The Missing Granny [S02E13], Mr. Monk and The Other Detective [S04E01], Mr. Monk Stays In Bed [S04E03], Mr. Monk and The Big Game [S05E03], Mr. Monk and The Class Reunion [S05E06], Mr. Monk and The Bad Girlfriend [S06E04] and Mr. Monk and The Magician [S07E15].

Okay, let's dive into it. With Mr. Monk and The Missing Granny there's that scene where he's just finished taking his test (not really lol) and he's locked himself inside Leland's office. it's very short, if you blink it you miss (i just spotted it like,, a couple of days ago during a re-watch) but he's trying to coax Adrian to open the door and he, so very fucking softly, says: "Adrian." before launching into this small, supportive spiel -> his constant support, even in slivers, of Adrian is so freaking beautiful.

With Mr. Monk and The other Detective. it's more funny "guilty hubby energy" than cute. he looks so GUILTY giving the job over to Marty Eels. like, pls. like @s-misaki once said:

the utter act of betrayal mixed with guilt he must be feeling towards Adrian lolol

In Mr. Monk Stays In Bed. I just liked the little scene of where Leland is Adrian's bedroom... that's it. lol. BUT THIS ALSO REMINDS ME. in Mr. Monk and The Very, Very Old Man - Leland was sitting in Adrian's bed and i'm just like??? ADRIAN?? he's sitting in your bed... gosh, i giggled sm. like sure, he'll probably change the sheets - but there's that hint of him always feeling like Leland is one of his 'safe' people. Physical Touch, closeness, sharing things is tough but it's there!!!

the little football rugby match in Mr. Monk and The Big Game has like,,, quarter of my heart (the rest have been divided lol) - cause?? the?? trust?? teamwork?? is SO NATURALLLL. ahhhhh.

the main thing that blew my mind in Mr. Monk and The Class Reunion was how Leland drove all the way (sure, it was for a case) but i'm just,, he would go anywhere on earth for Adrian, wouldn't he. it's so freaking heart-warming idek (╥_╥)♥️.

Mr. Monk and The Bad Girlfriend,, that ep,, i swear. it was just. it was a good hint of how Leland sometimes DOES get fed up of Adrian and how Adrian always wants the best for Leland. it was equally heart-warming and heart-breaking. the underrated scene there though was how Leland shoved Adrian...

it's a very raw moment where the both of them do not seem to get along at all because they want something good and dont see it right in front of them *cough*... and it's just,, Leland's words there: "I have what you want..."

like gahhh, it's visceral if you come think about it. they never want to hurt each other but sometimes what you want isn't what you get and you have to settle and look for something else to fill in the gaping hole :).

Mr. Monk and The Magician is simply me loving Leland wanting to toss anyone out the window and smash them in the face for even hurting a hair on Adrian or loosing sight of him. What a man, XD.

Gilded Cage

Hehehehe corruption prompts. Like actual corruption, get your head out the gutter. Of course this is based off the idea of someone saying knowledge is power only to be countered with, "no. Power is power" because it makes brain go brr.

Gotta love the classic political corruption that happens in the fantasy worlds. Love the tyrant kings and their circle of knights that funnel power and resources to both themselves and the elite, forcing the general population to live with next to nothing and hopefully eventually revolt teehee. Or perhaps one of the elites rise up and stage a coup against the king? Gahhh can you tell I love this?

The rigged elections in a dystopian world and maybe there is some suspicion or theories about votes being rigged, but actual information about it somehow gets leaked to the general public and it spreads like wildfire. Cue the manhunt for the person that leaked the information and the damage control and the forming rebellions.

Using political corruption and loopholes to keep a community in poverty/near poverty. Like the denizens try to get legislation passed that will improve the community but it never gets passed. Probably because it wasn't profitable or because it would hurt a big company/power. Then them trying to just do stuff like garden or make little community cabinets and always getting shut down. It's nothing super sinister it's just that no matter what they do and how hard they try, nothing ever actually changes.

The press/media skewing stories. Preferably about the protagonist(s). Perhaps any small mistake gets blown out of proportion while their good deeds go ignored. Things to make it so the public perceives them poorly. Accidentally breaking something for example gets skewed into being a careless act that shows no respect for locals and is completely tactless.

That bribe money folks. Just the entire system being based on who is the highest bidder gets the policies that benefits them the most. And everyone else can rot, because who cares if they're not the ones lining the elites' pockets. Or alternatively... Those who accept bribes doing a complete U-turn because it was never about morality to them. Whether they turn from being good to evil or evil to good, it doesn't matter to them as long as that particular side pays up. Kind of like a mercenary.

Using animals as spies! Kind of a cool concept and would work in theory if said animal had proper training and maybe a tracker on them. And given that said animal doesn't run into any deadly obstacles or isn't caught. Anyways, using them to either expose corruption or used by corrupt companies to steal their rival's secrets.

ctubbo has been rotting my brain for like over a year. like every time i think about him i feel SO many emotions and then i have to spend like hours just writing and drawing and trying to put a finger on it all GAHHH he upsets me So much because his entire life has just been. losing people and homes and pets and grieving but he never gets the chance to do it properly, always tries to figure out the most logical way to process it and then people always come back and death isn't permanent and he's still caught up in his grief over losing L'manberg and it's been a year since it was destroyed and he feels purposeless without having something to do, or being of service to another person it's all he's ever known!! he misses the community and home he had with og L'manberg god i want a c!tubbo happy ending so much.
