HII HII ur writing is perf 4 this idea but you don’t hav 2 do it !! i js thought of u <3 little red riding hood reader & big bad wolf (ko, ghost, price) any cod guy & i think it’s js soo cute !!!
[art by doujinpearl]
ARE YOU KIDDING ME THIS IS SO CUTE??? YOU NEVER MISS LOVE!!! And thank you it really means a lot to me that you like my silly writing <33
tw// horror elements and this has like one mention of a 'off-screen' death but no one major
I think I'm gonna go with König for this one?? Bc something about him just screams big bad wolf to me y'know? Also for the sake of this story, König is described like on the pics above, so his lower half is life a literal werewolf.
okay also i'm putting this under the cut because this somehow grew into a whole fic?? My dear @9irly9irl if you see this know that I love you and this was so. freaking. enjoyable to write??? I love this so much??? Also I'm sorry for the horror themes but I'm getting ready for October and the gloomy weather outside made me do this. I hope you still enjoy and PLEASE send me more for this au!!
Big bad wolf König who is on the prowl for some time now, he's on a hunt for you, the sweet girl who lives alone with her mother on the edge of the dark forest your good old momma always tells you to stay away from and for good reason. The townsfolk from the villages around whisper in fear and dread about a monster lurking in the woods, half man-half wolf with an insatiable taste for blood; they call the beast König, the undisputed King.
And honestly? König likes that rep. It means less annoying pests wandering around his territory safe for a groups of young guys from time to time who think they have the balls to try and 'kill the beast' but they are dealt with...pretty quickly.
But no, König has his glowing eyes set on something more...Exquisite. On something soft and pliable, sweet smelling and so so pretty. Namely on you. The werewolf guesses he has to be thanking his lucky starts or whatever bullshit that while sniffing around your cottage he overheard your mother talking about going out into the forest to bring her sickly mother, your grandma, a basket full of food and some other supplies and being the sweet little thing that you are, you of course cried and volunteered to go yourself, that your mother is already older and that you will make quick work of it.
König swears that day that his blood never rushed downward to his dick so fast. You, soft little you, all alone in his forest? His territory?? It's like you're begging to get taken and mated! The trek from your cottage to your grandma's home would take you about 2-3 days as she lives deep in the woods, the perfect timing for him to reveal himself and take you away for himself into his den in the darkest parts of the forest where you will have the perfect life with him! No more worrying about food or warmth during the cold, dreary winter months, he is more than a capable provider for his future mate, not to mention your future litter of happy yipping pups you will birth for him! It's a perfect plan!
And so he waits. And waits. And waits until the day you finally leave with your cute basket in tow and a tearful goodbye with your mommy dear that you will return as soon as possible. Yea, sure sweetheart.
I think he'd reveal himself by the time it's getting nighttime, when the sun sets, the air is getting cold and a ominous darkness sets over the forest where your trembling body sits in a makeshift nest made of a blanket and a thick animal pelt under a old, big tree. Everything seems so loud, the cries of nocturnal animals sound much more bleak and unnerving, not to mention the weird, chilling feeling of...something following you. Like there were a pair of eyes trained on you since a few weeks ago but you never mentioned this to your poor mother as you didn't want to worry her, but the feeling only amplified ever since you left your home and went on a trip to your grandmother.
You couldn't help the loud yelp you let out when suddenly a pair of glowing golden eyes appeared in the small clearing around the tree; a pair of glowing, unblinking orbs that seemed to be suspended in the air in the surrounding darkness, the weak fireplace you managed to make doing basically nothing to light up the area and your poor little heart started to beat like crazy when you noticed the eyes moving forward, closer and closer to you until the light finally caught what was moving towards you...or more like who.
It was an enormous man, easily over 7ft tall, his broad, bulky shoulders moving as he stood from the position he was in to his full height and those ominous glowing eyes still were unblinking as they stared at you like you were just some lamb and...you probably were.
The one thing that somehow stood out the most, even amidst literally everything else unnatural about this man, were a pair of ear on top of his head, which only now you noticed was covered in some sort of tattered old hood with holes for the eyes and ears, and a huge fluffy tail which was wagging faster anytime you seemed to look the man over, but what really brought it all together was his lower half...it-it was all fur. His legs were that of some bipedal wolf and in that moment a silent scream tried to make its way out of your throat; it was König, the brutal and unforgiving beast that resided in the surrounding forests, the one that people tell horror stories about around campfire and...he was here. He was here before you to tear you apart and leave nothing behind, not even bones.
Tears were streaming down your face, a look of utter defeat on it because after all, what more could you do? You can't possibly fight him, you can't outrun him, hiding is out of the picture too...You were ready to feel the unimaginable pain of those jaws locking themselves on your throat and draining you of your life but the you felt...warmth? A slick, warm feeling on your cheek and when you opened your eyes a bit you saw what it was. It was König, or more like his long tongue licking away at your cheek in an almost comforting matter, his wide unblinking eyes still trained on you though his pupils seemed to grow in size, now taking over most of the glowing yellow and when he deemed you to be clean of your tears, a large crooked nose with a scar running across it nudged into your cheek and took a deep sniff to get your scent. A stray thought ran through your mind when you took a closer look at his uncovered face and noticed another huge scar across his face and a few smaller ones, who or what in their right mind got close enough to inflict such wounds on someone like König?
When you stayed still and just stared at him wide eyed and out of breath König let out a deep growl like purr of content; he could hear your small aborted breaths still coming out quick and your heart fluttering in your chest like a small erratic bird but he could see that you were a tiny bit calmer now and not on the brink of hysterics like a few seconds before. He couldn't help but grin in delight, a nasty, wide thing that revealed rows of sharp teeth. He finally had you. He had you exactly where he wanted and now you were his. Well not completely yet, you two would need to mate first but still, everyone had to start somewhere right? For now he had you calmed down even for a bit, showed you that he wasn't a threat to you and wasn't going to hurt you. It was still only the night of the first day of your travels and he will offer to guide you, he couldn't possibly allow such a cute young lady to just wander around the deep dark forest all alone, right?
Of course he won't mention it that he will be herding you away from the path and instead guide you deeper and deeper into the heart of the woods where his den in. He won't mention it that he will be making very obvious and insistent advances at you, insisting on staying close at all times and wrapping his huge body around you at night for warmth, nosing and nudging at you to cover you in his scent and maybe make you a little bit hot under that deliciously low neckline of the dress that you're wearing, the cape in a lovely shade of red acting like a blanket to shield you away when König is nosing at your neck and bosom, greedy for all the tiny, shy, flustered noises you make, greedy for making you all hot and ready for him.
And of course he certainly won't mention to you about your poor old granny's corpse, rotting for weeks already in her old, decaying house where she died of some illness or old age. No, no, your new life is here, with him. Forever.

Death sentence
We are sorry Phantom, but we need to see by yourselves if you are a threat or not, we will be visiting you tomorrow at 4:40 pm
-Justice League
Danny was unsure about his feelings, apparently the government contacted the JL to eliminate him because he was "dangerous", but Martian Manhunter, knowing the government was not always the best, convinced them, so the League leave a message to Vlad instead.
Vlad didn't want to fight with him, he published the note in Amity newspaper. Now, that was kinda...bad, not for him, but for the rest of Amity Park. It was like being sentenced to death.
While Danny freaked out the entire city was having a meeting, they didn't want the Justice League there, not near Phantom or Fenton, he was a kid, the league have a history ignoring calls and kidnapping child heroes to be part of their "society", and train them "properly". Their kid was already death, they were not going to take risks.
Amity Parkers also know they will start to choose between him as they choose between their "personas", like Phantom and Fenton were different, and yeah, the inhabitants of Amity Park can't judge, it take a while to figure out he was the same but by that point he already saved their lifes and they were already attached to him.
If the League finds out the kid was a halfa they will choose a favorites; "Phantom" being better fighter than "the civil identity Fenton", "Fenton" being intelligent "when he is not at hero work", and to be honest they understand, when a person acts different is normal to separate between the two personalities.
They will obligate him to separate himself, like the "hero" and the "civilian" needed to act different or some stupid thing like that.
But Fenton Phantom was not a personality to separate, they were the same and the small city remembered all the fights, all the favoritism, remembered when Fenton was left out because of his better "half", remembered when they needed to buy the kid an apartment far from his parents cause it taked a while for them to separate "His cute guy Dann-o" and " The Ghost scum"
And the city remembered the sobs, the adults remember leaning out their window at night and hearing the uncontrollable wailing of the ghost, allowing himself to be the scared teenager he always was.
That day, they made a promise, to accept him, all of him, he never needed to be separated in two again, he was not destined to, he was the representation of equilibrium between life and death for god sake. The kid already hidden from them for two years, two years of scars and fighting alone, and they will never repeat that error.
The Justice League have no right to break their promise. And they will never let them ruin another kid, not an Amity Parker.
So, what happened next was just natural; the next day Mr. Lancer called Sam and Tucker, told them to guide Danny to the Ghost Zone for a while, maybe entertain him with his ghost friends, they accepted.
"Team Phantom" was still active (with Dani and Val help) but they had more support than ever, and they trusted their city, all basically united by the guy who literally spends his after life protecting them.
The thing is, it was almost stupid what happened in the past, Danny was sleep deprived, his fight with Pariah ended well but the suit suck too much energy for him, that connected with his lack of sleep ended in a transformation In the middle of town, where everyone could see it.
It took a while to accept the reality, that a boy had fought with the king of the dead for a city that hated him. They even pretended to have no idea about the revelation, acting like they didn't know for another couple of weeks; Although the news spread and gossip was not lacking.
Sam and Tucker expected the other shoe to drop, but they ended surprised when the city called a reunion (since when the totally of the city reunited?), they acted like Danny bodyguards, but what they didn't expected was the Fentons unable to look at them and leave the room.
The people who stayed offered an apology (but Val wanted an explanation) and an apartment (¿the city collected money to give him an apartment far from his home? Danny wasn't sure if he was happy or heartbroken)
When the Justice League arrived the Red Huntress was waiting for them, her weapon pointing the "heroes" who frowned at the sight of the "hero" holding wepons.
"Sorry, ¿is Phantom haunt here?" Martian Manhunter asked cordially, the girl nodded "¿can we talk with him?"
"No"
"¿Why not?¿is he dangerous?¿is he hiding from us? It's okay, we can capture him if that's the case" Flash assured, hoping that would take away the tense atmosphere, the meta ghost was probably the villain of the city or something, so that made the red suit girl the hero.
"We can also give you proper training so you can stop using wepons" Wonder Woman also offered.
"First of all, that's none of your business, you don't go to Star City and ask Green arrow to stop using arrows cause you don't like them, I don't care about your training" the girl answers, obviously annoyed "second, we don't want you here, not near him"
The Martian frowned "Sorry ¿we?"
"We" the girl pointed at the city, all the city was watching them, but contrary to normal meetings they were watching them with resentment.
"Eh, ¿why? Maybe this is all a misunderstanding..." Superman was trying not to look at the people, even the kids on the street seemed to stop what they were doing just to look at them with pure hate in their eyes "can we see the major?".
"I'm here" Vlad appeared behind the girl and greeted them "I see you already meet the Red Huntress"
"Yes, ¿Do you know where Phantom is? We send a note yesterday" Batman asked, the reason of the meeting was not there after all.
"Yes, I remember, the Death Sentence you left on my door cause of the U.S government ¿right?"
"¿Death sentence? That's not-"
"Oh, but it is, you left your precious note in my office, overnight, asking us to hand you over to our local hero for you to search and see if he's a threat, ¿am I wrong?" Vlad was having fun teasing these heroes.
"Sir, we need you to understand, according to the U.S government Phantom is a dangerous individual, maybe he can even destroy your city" Superman tried
"According to the U.S government we don't exist, ¿or did you forget that information on purpose?" the huntress mocked
"I remember, but it was for your safety, the government was trying to contain the threat-"
"The Goverment this, the government that, you see superheroes, we are not ruled by the government anymore, this is a free city, since we were contained here, we produce everything on your own, food, energy, we owe nothing to the government and much less to you"
"¡But we can help you! We can get ride of your meta infestation and-" Flash was trying to mediate
"¿Meta infestation? ¿That's what they told you?, oh poor heroes, getting here with the grown information" the major laughed "Look, I will make myself clear, we have a ghost infestation, Amity Park is now a death city and we prefer it this way"
"And what about Phantom?" Martian Manhunter asked worried.
Vlad sighed "You can visit him, he likes space, however" he pointed at the other heroes "they can't, we don't need the Goverment help, we don't need your help, we are alive because of that boy and we don't want YOUR team near him, Phantom is an Amity Parker and it will stay that way" the major walked away.
"Look, ¿Martian Manhunter? You are a good guy I get it, but we don't want all of you here, the only hero we want is Phantom and we don't need your ideologies or training near him, he is OURS, so please, get out of the city while we are still being nice" Red Hunter stated.
"¿What if you need help?" Batman asked
"We needed help two years ago, the boy you want to take saved us when you decided not to take our pleas, and as such, we won't take yours" the girl said "Amity Park can take care of it's own as always, go save a city that need you"
And with that said she flew away, leaving them at the entrance of the city, the angry shouts and mutters of the citizens saying that they wanted them away in the background.

Mean and Scary | Chapter 1: King of Hawkins High
AO3 Link:
https://archiveofourown.org/works/48053206/chapters/121165750
Pts: 1, 2, 3
As he traipses through the woods, Eddie tries to get a bearing on what is about to happen and what his plan is for when it inevitably goes sideways.
Dealing pot to Hawkins Royalty like King Steve isn’t entirely out of the ordinary, but doing it alone at a picnic table in the middle of the isolated woods? Yeah, not Eddie’s smartest decision for a meeting place.
In his defense, he’s only a hop skip and a jump away from the high school, and he couldn’t be assed to drive any further for what’s likely going to be a one time payment of $20. $25, if he overcharges Steve (which, he absolutely plans to do.)
Eddie finally gets to the clearing and Steve jumps when he notices him, finally looking away from a tree he was seemingly having a very intense staring match with.
“Whoa, hey, hey, hey! Sorry,” Eddie chuckles a bit awkwardly, trying his best to subconsciously communicate that he is not a threat, because he really doesn’t wanna get his lights punched out right now “Didn't mean to scare you.”
Eddie sits down and his metal lunchbox clatters onto the table —Steve flinches again. Boy, Harrington is jumpy— and sits across from him. He opens up his Pail-o’-Drugs and watches as Steve drums his fingers on the table.
“There's, uh... There's nothing to worry about. Okay? No one ever comes out here. We're safe. I promise.” Eddie honestly didn’t expect Steve Harrington to be worried about being caught, considering that Steve apparently used to hold daily house parties.
He still can’t believe it. King Steve goddamn Harrington sitting there, in all his douchey glory. Or at least, that’s what Eddie expected. Instead he sort looks exhausted. His eyes keep flitting around, and he looks like he just saw a ghost.
You see, Harrington was never a dick to Eddie, specifically. However, he sure as hell didn’t treat the freaks of Hawkins High with any sort of sympathy. Hence Eddie’s original plan to act like the biggest asshole he possibly could without scaring off a rich customer. But something about Harrington’s eyes, a sort of dull terror etched into the hazel brown, is making Eddie reconsider that decision.
“So, how does this work, exactly?” Steve sort of mutters. This is so utterly different from everything Eddie heard about him. Steve always roamed the halls with a sick sort of ironclad confidence, with his two jackals Tommy and Carol following his every beck and call. The boy across from Eddie though? He seems so haunted. Like a flickering projection of someone. A puppet with its strings cut.
“Uhh just like any other old sale, except cash only, and for obvious reasons, no receipts,” he gives Harrington what he hopes is a reassuring smile, “I'll do you a half ounce for, uh... 20. What do you say? Plenty of bang for your buck. Should last a while.”
A squirrel skitters up a tree in the background, and Harrington gasps quietly and whips around to track it. And then, finally, it clicks for Eddie.
Steve’s worried about being seen with Eddie the Freak Munson. Figures. He shouldn’t have expected anything less from King Steve.
“Hey, we don’t need to do this. Just give me the word, and I’ll walk away.”
“It’s not that, I don’t want you to go.” Steve starts, tentatively. He’s still looking around, like somethings about to pop out of the woods. “It’s just…Do you ever feel like you’re loosing your mind?”
And, of course Eddie feels like he’s lost his marbles. He’s a super senior with the nickname the Freak. Obviously he sometimes feels a little crazy. He’s a little surprised that notorious cool guy Steve Harrington feels that way, though.
He makes the decision right then and there to see this out, because even if Harrington’s afraid of being caught, there’s something here that Eddie’s missing.
“You know on a daily basis. I feel like I’m loosing my mind right now,” screw it, might as well be honest, go big or go home right? “doing a drug deal with Steve Harrington, former king of Hawkins High.”
“Ah, well, I haven’t been king for a while…” Steve trails off.
Eddie remembers Billy Hargrove. Remembers how he made him want to beg every god there was for Steve to steal back the crown. Billy Hargrove was mean to Eddie. He was mean to everyone. And he wasn’t highschool-mean either, he was Larry Munson mean. He was a jackass who wasn’t afraid of anyone and wanted you to know it.
Unprompted, Eddie remembers the first time he met Steve. Before he was Hawkins Royalty, before he was a jock and a bully, before Eddie was the freak and not just a freak. Eddie had just gotten to Hawkins, his old man had been put away and the US government dropped lil’ Eddie on Wayne’s doorstep. He’d met some friends and formed a shitty garage band. They’d played at the middle school talent show, and Eddie had lost his guitar pick. A boy about his age had given it back, told him his name was Steve and he had found it underneath his chair in the seats.
“You know, this isn't the first time that we've, um... Hung out.”
“No?”
Eddie lets out a little chuckle. Of course Steve wouldn’t remember. “It’s alright.”
He clutches at his heart like he’s been shot with an arrow and flings himself off the bench and into a pile of leaves behind him. He hears Steve let out a little gasp before he hops back up.
“I wouldn’t remember me either, Harrington!”
Steve looks a little amused, and Eddie catches a light brown blob in his peripheral vision. He combs his fingers through his hair and dislodges a dead leaf.
“Honestly, do I have stuff in my hair?”
Steve lets out a little chuckle as Eddie starts to gets into his story. If there’s one thing Eddie Munson is good at, it’s story telling.
“Middle school, talent show. Carol I think did this cheer thing? You know the thing the,” Eddie mimed some pom poms. Steve was smiling a little bit, so Eddie continued his spiel, “and I- I was with my band.”
Suddenly Steve pipes up “Corroded Coffin! Oh my god!”
Eddie’s bewildered that Steve apparently remembered their weird prepubescent metal show. He claps his hands excitedly and points to Steve. “You do remember!”
“Yes, of course! With a name like that, how could I forget?”
“I dunno. You’re a freak.” Eddie’s pretty pleased with himself when his lack of brain-to-mouth filer apparently doesn’t offend Steve. In fact, Steve breaks out a smile. It’s less Harrington Charm then Eddie expected, more of a dorky toothy grin.
“No you just- you looked so-“
“Different? Yeah. Yeah. Well, uh, my hair was buzzed, and I didn't have these sweet old tatties yet.”
“You played guitar right?”
“Uh-huh. Still do. Still do.” And since Eddie is an impulsive mess and isn’t totally hating this interaction, he does something that totally spits in the face of the tried and true Munson doctrine and invites a preppy jock to a metal concert, “You should come see us. Uh, we play at the Hideout on Tuesdays. It’s pretty cool. We- we actually get a crowd of about five…drunks.”
Steve laughs a bit and clamps a hand over his mouth, like he’s a bit startled by the noise. Eddie doesn’t blame him, he’s a bit caught off guard too.
“It’s not exactly the Garden, but, you gotta start somewhere, right?”
Steve looks at Eddie with a considering gaze for a moment, like he’s trying to figure Eddie out.
“You know, you’re not what I thought you’d be.”
“What, a total freak?”
“No, no. Honestly? I thought you’d be mean. And scary.”
“Me? Steve Harrington thought I’d be scary?”
“Yeah! You’ve got this whole, I dunno, chains and leather vibe. Thought you wouldn’t give me the time of day.”
“Yeah, well, I thought you’d be mean and scary too.”
“Yeah?”
“Terrifying.” Eddie’s hit with the sudden realization that he’s completely forgot about the drug deal he came here for and plops himself back down at the picnic table. “Uh, so, in other good news, flattery works with me, so... Twenty-five percent discount for the half. Fifteen bucks. You're robbing me blind here, you know.”
“…do you have anything maybe stronger?”

There are plenty of posts where Justice League and Constantine sees Danny's Ghost King Form in all of its Eldritchy glory, from on being Lightning Based to one being compared to an event horizon, as he takes down the ghost that was giving the League problems and it basically freaks them out.
So when I stumbled upon this picture
Tumblr media
I knew that this could be an excellent form worthy of a King if it was tweaked to fit Danny with ghostly elements, and maybe ice themes sprinkled with something Space related.
Like Vortex or Undergrowth is giving the League trouble, then this thing straight out of the Old Testament shows up, takes down the Ghost, and turns back to Danny who didn't know he just melted the League's brains.
Or, maybe during The Legion of Doom / The Light tries to summon the Ghost King for power/ take over the world, and Danny comes along looking like that and scares everyone there shitless.
How do you think that will go down?
I have had this in my drafts for So Very Long... Im sorry!!!
Holy *^$π, Batman!™
I LOVE the image, and 100% agree, it's an awesome base to work off with Danny.
I think it would be hilarious. Matter of fact, I wrote a fic about it. 😁 If you have an AO3, let me know and I'll gift it to you.
Ao3 here
Be Not Afraid- or Whatever
Summary: The weather god- though Constantine swore it was 'just' a ghost- had pinned down the entire Justice League. While they'd managed to trap Vortex in a two square mile area and evacuate civilians, and even arrested the cult responsible, they in turn were trapped in a small warehouse, protected only by the blood blossom spray and salt circle Constantine made.
With no way to fight it, they had only one choice: summon another ghost. Enter Ghost King Danny Phantom, stage right.
Rain, wind, and hail pounded heavily against the metal roof and walls of the tiny back office of a warehouse.
Earlier today- just this morning, in fact- it had been a bright and warm summer day. The Flash flinched as a piece of hail broke through a window. Constantine didn't flinch, intent on his task. Superman was still unconscious, Batman picking out shards of kryptonite from a bullet that had hit its mark too well.
It was silent but for the occasional pained gasp from their Kryptonian friend, and Constantine's low mutters in what sounded like Ancient Latin to Barry's untrained ears.
Thunder roared, and the single lightbulb went out. Wordlessly, Batman cracked a pair of glowsticks, passing one to him so he could hold it up for Constantine. Clark groaned quietly.
A cult of summoners swearing fealty to Vortex, Lord of Storms, seemed easy enough to stop; Batman made the plan and coordinated with everyone. He and Superman rescued hostages and dock workers alike as Batman and Constantine took down the cult.
It was supposed to be easy. Simple. It was anything but.
The smell of the weird floral spray Constantine used- Blood Blossoms, the magic user had said- was beginning to fade. A drop of sweat fell down Constantine's face. His lips were pressed tight, white against the odd pallor of his face.
"John," Barry whispered, "how much longer?"
Another window broke. Batman swore quietly. "Good news is, we've got the blood sacrifice ready," he joked under his breath. He winced then, and pressed his hand against the bandage on his arm.
It had bled through again, but the others were needed for Clark. In a rare event, the alien was the most injured on the team.
The cultists had purchased bullets laced with kryptonite from somewhere, which didn't hurt Constantine any more than a regular one. The same couldn't be said for Clark.
The magic-user hesitated until water started to bubble underneath the door, threatening the complicated circle of chalk and blood. He spoke, and this time it wasn't in Latin. Barry couldn't recognize it.
The temperature began to drop further while the air around the man began to shimmer, almost. Ozone gathered in the air, and the darkness increased until he couldn't see anything. Even the glowstick was a pinprick of light so tiny he couldn't be sure it was real.
A low rumble sounded and a radioactive green pool started to open. One massive clawed hand grabbed the edge. Constantine's voice cracked- but didn't stop. Another hand pulled out, and another, folowed by one more.
They were white as snow up to the wrists. One massive wing shot up, far too big for the office, followed by another, both black as night and covered with starry patterns. The next thing Barry made out was a crown of twisted black iron and glittering jewels, wreathed in green flame, atop two large horns, blue like sea ice.
The figure continued to rise as John spoke, revealing a second, then third set of wings and a mane of white hair which flowed in a wind he couldn't feel. Four sets of eyes opened, some solid green and glowing, some pitch black, some solid white, and the last a myriad of colors.
The thing's face was almost tan, almost the color of mortal flesh, but green scars like lightning bolts marred it. A thud alerted him of one massive foot, then another, both white and clawed.
The rest of its body except a shining white D was black as the void. When it opened its mouth, he had to look away, unsure if he feared or loved it, found it beautiful or terrifying.
Abruptly, the light from the sticks was back. He didn't dare look at Clark or Batman to see how they were doing; every instinct said he was in front of a predator, and showing the weak of the herd would be a death sentence.
    Finally, Constantine fell silent.
"What's up? Kind of a weird place for a summons, you know," it said, and Barry swallowed. It sounded like a child, an old man, a windstorm, the shriek of a blizzard, the thunder of roaring waves all at once.
"I have summoned you, King of Ghosts, to take your servant back to your realm," Constantine managed, voice only wavering a little.
It leaned forward. "And the price?"
The thing sounded almost teasing. Amused.
"What would you ask of us?"
"Autographs," it immediately said. "From Martian Manhunter, Superman, Cyborg, and Wonder Woman."
    Wait. What?
"I'm a big fan," it added.
"Should all of us survive today, we will do so," he agreed.
"Sweet. Gimme like 5 minutes. Maybe 10, Vortex is a bit of a bitch. Also, be not afraid or whatever. I'm one of the good guys."
It was gone, then, and abruptly Barry sucked in a breath. Sounds of a fierce battle echoed from outside for several minutes before the storm abruptly stopped.
Slightly singed, the Ghost King returned. "Hey, does Supes over there need a doctor? I know a good one in the GZ."
He swallowed. Batman cleared his throat. "We only need to get the kryptonite out of him, he'll be fine."
"Okay!" It chirped, then reached over and, without so much as ruffling the suit, reached into the alien and pulled out a small handful of shards. "I'll be back in a few weeks for those autographs- I'd say tomorrow, but time is weird. Bye, guys!"
"Wait- can I ask for a way to contact you? If you'd be willing to help in the future," Constantine asked.
"Yeah, sure. My Chirper handle is @realdeadguy, all lowercase, no punctuation," he said, "and you can call me Phantom if you want."
    -
    "Guys!"
Sam groaned and Tucker covered his face with a pillow.
"Dude, we know you just got back from a summons, but it's 3 am."
Danny rocked back and forth, wings twitching. "I met the Justice League! They're so cool! Batman was there! Batman!!!"
"I thought you were all about Su-"
"And I saved Superman's life, isn't that awesome?! I kept the kryptonite, look, real-life rock from space!"
"Rocks aren't alive, Danny," Sam muttered. Then, a second later, "wait, what?! You met the Justice League? Was Wonder Woman there?"
"No, but I asked for an autograph."

Danny and Vlad are now mythical creatures.
They don't know exactly how- their bets are on Desiree. Which mean someone in Amity Park had to wish for this to happen.
Except it extended to the whole of Amity park, and not just them. Danny became a dragon, while Vlad became a phoenix and not those small ones, but he's a very big one.
Like, bigger than a person big.
Everyone can switch between from a creature back to their human selves, with the catch being that some of their beastly instincts and traits carry over into their human side.
Anywho.
Danny is just minding his own business, resting in dragon form in the deepest part of the Far Frozen, until a phoenix busts through and interrupts his haze, fire blazing behind him and hits him with.
"Pariah Dark is missing."
And if that didn't wake Danny up faster than one of his parents inventions exploding then he doesn't know what would.
So they go to his abandoned castle, see the coffin missing, proceed to freak out for a few minutes, then remember that Clockwork exists and races over to his lair, leaving a trail of ice and fire in their wake.
Clockwork tells them that Pariah Dark was summoned to another dimension.
"Ghost King he is no more, but powerful ghost he still is."
So now they have to jump to different dimensions to try and find Pariah Dark before something goes down.
Meanwhile with Pariah Dark:
The 10 year old sitting at the edge of the summoning circle staring at the Sarcophagus that just appeared in stunned silence.
Also said child walking forward and poking at it curiously.
Also said child when he summoned something in his parents basement from a really old book he found not expecting it to work but it did: Neat.
The kid then opens the Sarcophagus, found it stupid easy, and then what is obviously a groggy giant man pulls himself out of it.
So he obviously dragged him upstairs and sat him down on the couch.
Meanwhile with Danny and Vlad:
Both of them are going through portals looking for the ex-ghost king, landed in some medieval dimensions, accidently became legends based on sightings alone, landed in some present day dimensions, alarmed their governments.
Yet none of them contained were wrecked and enslaved by Pariah Dark, nor was there even any signs of him.
they spent a few years looking in different dimensions, then they felt a tug about someone summoning them, not just one of them, but both.
Probably didn't get the memo about a new king.
Meanwhile with Pariah Dark:
Showing pictures of the kid who summoned him to other aunties and gossiping about the new gangs and drama in Gotham.
Meanwhile with Vlad and Danny:
Looking at the stunned faces of cultists as they stand menacingly in their mythical creature forms, just staring done at them as if they were mere ants.
In reality they just want this over and done with so they can go back to finding Pariah Dark and finally call it a day.
They're waiting for the cultists to finally speak and tell them what they want, only for them to be interrupted by people in colorful spandex who beat up the cultists.
Did they stay after that?
Nope.
They left the summoning circle to look for Pariah if he has any chance of being in this one.
They also went intangible to avoid them if they decided to chase after them, Vlad went one way and Danny the other.

If Danny Phantom came out today, what themes and topics do you think the show would tackle?
I think it would be quite a lot like The Ghost and Molly Mcgee and the direction A Glitch in Time is trying to take.
In character i think Danny would be pretty similar, but there would be a lot more emphasis in how he doesn't know to which world he belongs- to the human, ghost or both. There would be more exploration about how he doesn't feel like he fits in, if already had trouble with being unpopular in school, he now feels like a complete freak being a human/ghost hybrid. In some episodes he sides more with humans and in other episodes he sides more with ghosts.
I think there would be themes from the original show like self acceptance, responsibility and learning to rely on others when you need help but we would get to see more of why x character acts this way and the reasons behind it.
One character i believe he would have a quite different take would be Vlad Masters. He would have a lot more development and we would get flashbacks of his relationship with Jack and Maddie before and after the accident. Think of something like King Andrias from Amphibia except with more screentime. Another thing that would be different is his relationship with Danny. I think he would have episodes he has to work together with him and Danny gets to know him better. He would have moments he shows to care about Danny and protects/saves him. He would be less..extreme in some way but he would still be terrible.
I know i like to talk about Danny and Vlad's relationship a lot, but, honestly? If there was a reboot nowadays, their relationship would be one of the most interesting things in the show or one of the main things that drives it.
The series could explore things like dying a leaving things behind with more freedom. Ghosts that didn't take the opportunity to do x thing when they were alive and/ or find themselves stuck in the past. Maybe Danny starts hating ghosts at the start of the show and over time starts to see there are good and bad ghosts, a lot more balanced than is in the original series.
If Dan were to become canon in the series, i think Danny would have a sort of corruption arc that bit by bit you see him taking a darker path and closing off from people that care about him. It would be something gradual until it gets revealed that Dan is what he could become in the future.
That itself is a lot more interesting than just having Dan show up in one episode and barely being used again after that. It adds potential for character conflict and development.
Characters like Sam and Tucker would have their own episodes that develop and change. Maybe we would get to see more of their families and what goals they have outside of helping Danny. They are fun characters but in the series they usually struggle be to be their own people.
Jack and Maddie would be... better handling things than they do in the series. I believe they would pay more attention to Danny coming back late and getting injured. They wouldn't be leave lying ghosthunter machinery around. It's possible the narrative would be a lot more critical of them hating ghosts and talking about dissecting ghosts in front of their kids. Hell, it wouldn't be out of place if Danny had an arc he started to live with someone else until his parents realize their mistakes and Danny feels comfortable enough to go back to them. Here is another thing for interesting potential relationships conflict.
As for final antagonist, it could either be Dan or The Guys in White. However, i would prefer that Vlad stayed as main antagonist for a good part of the show until someone else could take that role.

Jasico Bingo Challenge #14!!
Prompt: Boyfriend Sweater
Jason had been searching for his favorite hoodie for about twenty minutes. He searched his closet, and the laundry basket, and had dumped out the contents of both the washer and dryer in his quest to find it.
His search led him to the living room. Why he would leave it there, he had no clue, but he was scatterbrained these days and still searching desperately.
Between his job in alter architecture, his and Nico's upcoming wedding, and just generally being a demigod, he had his hands full. Sometimes he just left things in weird spots and had to scrounge for them later.
Nico was usually helpful in remembering where Jason put his things, but Nico was napping on the couch and Jason didn't want to disturb him. Being King of Ghosts was hard and had a surprising amount of paperwork attached to it, so Jason knew he needed the sleep.
Jason glanced over him during his initial search of the room, ensuring he was asleep. He checked every nook and cranny of the living room before retiring his search to the bedroom.
His search was fruitless, earning a "Where on Olympus is it..." muttered from his mouth as he checked the closet for the millionth time.
"Where what?" A tired voice asked from the doorway.
Jason looked over. "Oh, hey babe. I was looking for my...hoodie." Jason looked at Nico, who was currently wearing the hoodie he'd spent thirty minutes searching for.
Nico looked down. It went down a little past his thighs, way too big for him. He was wearing shorts, but they were engulfed in the hoodie so only his pale legs stuck out.
"You found it," Nico laughed. Jason laughed too. For a second, he was mad about the wasted time, but it quickly passed when he saw his fiancée swallowed whole in the purple fabric.
"You little thief!" Jason laughed, throwing him onto the bed. Nico laughed between words, but couldn't manage to say anything between being smothered by Jason.
Jason tired himself out and laid down next to Nico, holding him and the extra fabric of the hoodie close. He kissed the top of Nico's head and laughed.
"What were you looking for it for? Going somewhere?" Nico asked, curling into Jason's touch in a way he had only recently started to do.
"I was gonna go grocery shopping, but lying here with you is way more fun."
Nico laughed lightly and swung his legs to wrap around Jason’s. “I’ll go shopping with you if you let me sleep for like thirty minutes.”
Jason started to stand. “Alright, get your beauty sleep you freak-”
Nico grabbed his arm. “I don’t know where you think you’re going,” he laughed.
“Oh, does the Ghost King want to cuddle?”
“Shut up and get under the blankets.”

𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐆𝐨𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐜𝐚𝐧𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝟐.𝟎
Made some Mary headcanons a long while back but for some reason the link doesn't work anymore and no matter what I put in the search bar on my blog they don't come up? So idk if they've been deleted without me knowing or what. But oh well, at least we're getting new and improved ones this time! These will naturally include spicy headcanons so minors DNI thank you!
A he/they king (thank you Tobias, you will always be an icon)
Doesn't feel any desire to have surgery or go on HRT. They're comfortable in their own body and with being AMAB; they're just not always male
They're an undead creature that's probably the closest to a vampire you'll find outside of Ghost and the Ministry
He doesn't really talk about how he became what he is now. It's not that he doesn't want to tell you, he's just not ready to talk about it in detail to anyone outside of the band
He started learning the guitar as a pre-teen when his parents saved up to buy him a guitar in the hopes that it would give him something to focus on instead of getting into trouble
And oh boy did they underestimate how much he'd love that guitar and how passionate he'd become about playing
Mary does sing and he has a beautiful singing voice
Much prefers growling and screaming however, so they don't sing often
Gave himself his own ear piercings using a sewing needle that he sanitised beforehand
His other piercings he had done professionally because he didn't want to risk it going wrong and not being able to play with the band for a while
Their first tattoo is one they got on their left ass cheek of a zombie bite mark surrounded by blood and torn flesh
Swears like a sailor constantly
Customised their own battlevest and has even made some for his bandmates too
Very tactile and affectionate towards you and their bandmates. Hugs from behind, kisses, lingering touches, holding hands or linking pinkies, they love it all and more
A generally very horny person
Regularly gets used by his bandmates
They joke that they're the band's cum slut (they're not wrong)
If you wanna date Mary, you'll have to be okay with them fucking and them being in somewhat of a relationship with their bandmates too
Will happily share you with them, but only if you're okay with that
Has a blood kink (obviously) so if you ever nick your finger or hurt yourself in a way that produces blood be ready for him to be all over you, desperate to lick it up with their dick straining against their pants all the while
Also has a necrophilia kink. He loves the fact that because he's technically dead he's always taking part in that kink and that just makes him even hornier
Absolutely steals your underwear. They either cum on them while they touch themselves or they'll breath in the scent and stuff them in their mouth while they fuck their hand or a nearby sex toy
Speaking of toys, he has a variety of them
Keeps his toys properly and thoroughly sanatised and clean because he shares them with you and his bandmates
If you were able to magically summon tentacles to fuck him with, he'd be in heaven. The thought of an otherworldly apendage greedily fucking and sucking at him in multiple places at once is one of his greatest fantasies
Will choke you and also enjoys being choked in return
Generally, he's a switch
If they bottom, they're likely to be a brat and you'll need to put them in their place by any means
They don't have many hard limits apart from non-con. They refuse to take part in rape fantasies and non-con and they won't budge on that. They tried that kink once and it freaked them out badly
Other than that, Mary is pretty open to trying anything once. Cutting him? Go for it. Cock cages? Baby, that's tame to him. Wanna make him piss on you then use his tongue to clean you up? Whatever floats your boat, he won't judge!
No matter how intense or calm a scene is, they very much need aftercare afterwards. If you refuse to give him aftercare, that's it you've blown it. They need to know that you care about their wellbeing and will look after them just as much and thoroughly as they'll look after you

Statement of Martin Blackwood, regarding his encounter with a ghost. Statement given January 25th, 2017.
“Whenever you’re ready,” Sasha says gently. Tim is beside her, wearing a worried expression, while Martin is sitting on the opposite end of the table with a running tape recorder placed in front of him. His hands are wrapped around a steaming cup of tea.
“Ooof,” he sighs, bracing himself. “Alright, I — alright.”
“So, the day started as normal, I think — maybe it was a bit more cloudy than usual, but nothing too out of the ordinary. I took the tube, arrived to the Institute on time, signed in with Rosie, all that stuff. I came in, and Sasha was there, already recording, so I decided not to interrupt her and busy myself with my own case. I sat at the table, laid my things out — because I had to bring them home, you know, what with the mysterious haunting of this place. Didn't want to lose track of any more pens than necessary, heh.
I did some follow-ups, called a couple of contacts to check the details for, er, for that, that 'uncanny students' report? Yeah. So, it was about eleven-ish when I heard something... weird from the document storage. It was like… a whisper, or a call. A very quiet one.
Now, the thing is, that was far from the first time I heard something like that in the Archives. Those whispers, and sudden brushes of cold wind, I suppose, have been following me since, um, the middle of September. I’m not the most superstitious person, but I can’t very well deny the uneasiness that flooded my mind with every such… incident. Still, there weren’t any words being said in an ominous voice, no blood oozing out of the walls, no foggy mirrors, or, or anything, to indicate that it wasn’t just me freaking out without reason, so I kind of — let it be? I mean, it’s not like I could do anything. There isn’t a, a ghost manual or whatever, and you guys never noticed the things I did.
I must admit that I… am sorta fan of Ghost Hunt UK. I’m not big on conspiracies and deep scary mysteries, but their channel is — it’s honestly really good. They conduct proper investigations and stuff, and I know we as academics are supposed to, to despise their work out of principle, but… I simply never saw them as rivals. They do a lot of what we do — breaking into places, unearthing evidence, recording their findings — even if they lack the resources we possess. I’ve watched some of their content regarding old haunted basements, a while back. You know, the Archives are actually unbelievably good-fitting for the ‘haunted basement’ profile; the Institute was built in the early 1800s, and its structure has remained the same since. Despite there being only one exit, at least two archival employees have managed to vanish without a trace from what is essentially a closed room. There was blood found on the desk, for god’s sake.
I’ve emailed to Melanie King — she’s the main host — asking for her opinion. That was back in December, and I didn’t hold much hope for a proper answer. She must be quite busy, after all. But, surprisingly, she replied, uh, two days later? She needed more details — were there signs of possession or compulsion; have I seen, heard or smelt anything else odd or unnatural; was there seemingly a problem with electricity, heating or pipes that refused to go away, yada, yada. Based on what I’ve told her, she said it might indicate a minor poltergeist, possibly an Archivist, trying to finish their mission on this plane. I didn’t know whether I believed it. Anyhow, true or not, it’s a terribly sad way to exist, don’t you think? Permanently tied to your place of work, bound to fill out papers until the end of time. Ugh.
Melanie said ghosts such as these are usually deemed harmless, and unless I cared to confront it and discover its goal, there’s, as I suspected, very little that could be done. I wasn’t worried, not then. A disgruntled workaholic ghost? Pshh, just another strange thing about this job, right? Hah. And, well, today… today the issue became a lot more real.
As I said, there was a whisper coming from the document storage. I registered it, which was almost routine at that point, and waited for the cold to pass. After five minutes or so, its presence lessened significantly — although it hadn’t gone away completely. I had two layers of clothing on, so I was fine.
It’s — hard to remember what exactly I wanted to do? I know I went in to retrieve a box of files, probably related to the reports of… uncanny… um, skin people. I entered the storage — I held a reference file in hands, I think — and… there it was. A hand. Transparent, floating, detached from anything that might have resembled a body, human hand. It — it was kind of positioned where a person’s hand would be if they, uh, reached for something above their height. Which sounds ridiculous, of course — ghosts can levitate, can’t they? Or maybe I’m thinking of the vampires…
Anyhow, the hand, it — it grabbed a, a file from an open box at my eye level, and it pulled — and, and the file moved, like there was real physical force behind that gesture. I think I screamed. It was just so… impossible. There’s scary movies and books, and spooky podcasts that you listen to while going to sleep to shake yourself up a little — and then there’s that. I didn’t expect to see it because it shouldn’t have been real. I didn’t… I didn’t.
The next thing I know — I’m sitting on the floor, breathing heavily, with a very concerned Sasha crouching down besides me. She — she asked me what happened, led me to the break room, offered some tea. I turned to look back when we were exiting the storage — and there was nothing. No hands, no chill, no levitating objects... Just a bunch of dusty old boxes lined up in rows. I’m not sure whether I felt relieved or not. And, well, then Tim arrived, apologising for oversleeping, so that pretty much wraps up my experience, I suppose.
S-statement ends.”

Superphantom: The Ghost King, three hunters, and an Angel.
Eros_Creature17
Chapter 4: When Time strikes, Death waits.
__________________________________________________
Danny stayed frozen still as the Angel glared at him while he was still being cuddled by a sleeping Sam.
Cas sighed out knowing that the conversation might be difficult to discuss in this current moment but it was the only time they will have.
With a snap of his fingers both Danny and Cas were teleported into the Impala back seats, making Danny start frantically moving around.
Once the teen had calmed down Cas started to talk again, which hurts Danny's head as he could hear both voices at the same time.
"I need to know who your guardian is, this could mean the matter of life or death for you".
Danny barely raised an eyebrow, was that a threat or a warning.
Cas noticed the teen's reaction and was quickly trying to make himself clear.
" Look, you have been badly injured from the ghost attacking you and even though I tried I can not heal your body. Which is bad but also means that you have a guardian who has taken the main authority overhealing you, and if I don't get their permission I can't help you even when you really need it as you do right now".
Danny finally understood what the angel guy was talking about, but it was a bit hard to explain since Danny is both in a unique position with the 'guardian' thing and because he can't talk in his human form.
He decided that the angel should at least know since he was going to be the last one who would even try to shoot at Danny, including since he didn't even have a gun on him.
Danny tried his hardest to warn the Angel ahead since he knew that most freak out when they first see his ghostly form, but it needed to be done, plus if he showed the crown it might give a hint that he's a bit of authority which could lead to a better outcome.
Danny waited for a moment to see if the Angel beside him even understood what he was trying to say, but when he only got a confused frown Danny knew he just had to go for it.
In a flash of dull white two rings in circle Danny's body and changed his form.
The Angel's eyes grew wide as Danny turned from a scared pale skin 14-year-old, with black hair and piercing blue eyes, and into a young teen with snow-white hair, darkened skinned with earthy green freckles, neon green eyes, and a flaming crown that spun slowly around Danny's head.
The moment Danny finished transforming he looked back over at the Angel, and......
Danny had to try so hard to hold in his laughter and keep things on track, but he just couldn't help grin as his laugh stifled out.
The Angel was backing up to the other side of the seat, wings fully fluffed out as he looked like he was going to nearly yell from the shock he had from seeing Danny.
Danny chuckled for nearly a minute before finally talking to the scared man next to him.
"Okay since I got my voice back but I don't know how long I should keep in this form. I'll make things quick, first off I'm not a threat to humanity and in fact saved it a few times, secondly yes this is a real crown".
Danny stared at the angel to make sure he was listing which he was, he was also trying to open the door but kept missing the handle.
"As for my 'guardian' situation, it is complicated since technically in the middle of an ongoing custody argument, from what I can tell right now C.W and long Nose is working out different times or seniors they have guardian authority over me if that makes sense?".
All the angel did was shake his head but was too frightened to say a thing.
"Well since your questions are now over I'll be turning back to my human form, oh and one more thing"
Danny smiled his sweetest smile he could as he floated off the seat,
"I can promise you no matter what I will not harm your humans, I know what it means to lose the one you care about and I don't ever want to do that to you".
With that, Danny turned back into his human body which was a little more healed up now.
It took a few moments for Angel guy to calm down but he understands now, Danny wasn't a threat to him or his human family.
Both reentered the house through the front door, Danny made sure it was locked again as he went over and grabbed his locked journal, as he did so he saw Sam was just waking up.
Mr. Sasquatch freaked a tiny bit when he saw Danny wasn't in his arms and let out a relieved sigh when he noticed Danny was standing beside him.
" whew kid you scared me, I thought you had disappeared again".
Danny watched as the tall lumbering man stood up from the couch and was heading towards the kitchen, "want anything to eat? I think Bobby has down cereal and milk left".
Danny smiled and followed behind, even though it's been only a few days he really hopes that the angel will let him stay and not tell the others, at least not yet.
Danny wants to tell them when he's ready to and only told the angel so he knew Daniel wasn't a threat to him or the kind people around him.

~Cas's pov~
______________________________________________
Castile looked up at the ceiling while laying in the uneven bed.
He still didn't really understand the meaning of sleep but he stayed since it meant Dean would cuddle him.
Last night he had to put a blessing to make sure no one could hear them and the power was now slowly fading away as dawn kept into the darkened glass.
Cas waited till he knew Dean wouldn't notice he had gotten up before leaving the bed, once up he quickly put on his clothing but 'mistakenly' had put on Dean's shirt.
Oh well he didn't have a lot of time to question Danny before Dean or anyone else woke up and it was a needed discussion between just the two of them.
Cas made sure to make no sound as he moved around the creaking house and made his way over to Sam who was snoring away like usual but with the small black-haired boy tucked into his arms almost like a cat would to keep warm.
As Cas waited he saw a faint glow of fire above the boy's head when he first saw Danny he almost mistook him for a demon or a benevolent spirit that had taken passion over the kid's frail body, but now it could be that his guardian has been using him as a vessel.
Cas had witnessed it before, a powerful guardian uses their ward as a body in a time of need or convince.
He waited till Danny woke up which had startled the boy, Cas wanted to apologize since it was a bit of a habit but there wasn't much time.
Once Danny was no longer cuddling up to Sam, Cas teleported them into the back seat of 'baby'.
"I need to know who your guardian is, this could mean the matter of life or death for you".
Cas looked at Danny to make sure he was listing and waited for a response, basically forgetting for a moment that Danny had bandages around his neck and wasn't even supposed to be talking, but after some silence, he realized his mistake and had to remind himself that people don't heal as quickly as angels.
When the only response he had gotten from the teen was a raised eyebrow Castile tried to make himself more clear.
" Look, you have been badly injured from the ghost attacking you and even though I tried I can not heal your body. Which is bad but also means that you have a guardian who has taken the main authority over you, and if I don't get their permission I can't help you even when you really need it as you do right now".
After the blurb of info stopped he noticed Danny was trying to communicate by other means but he wasn't understanding him at all.
Danny sighed and was thinking to himself for quite some time, and in an instant looked over at Cas with a different look in his eyes.
Before Castile could even react to the change the boy in front of him transformed in a flash of dull white, which made him quickly move to the opposite side of the seat near the car door.
What was in front of him he couldn't understand, where once there was a small pale boy with black as night hair and bandages was gone, he was replaced by a being that glowed with neon green vines, hair white as snow, a black and white bodysuit, and a flaming crown.
This creature that was using the boy's body and pulsed with the energy to fill the cosmos looked at him with vacant green eyes and chuckled at his fear.
What spoke to Cas wasn't anything human, his voice softly echoed as sensation kept into the car, it felt like he was trapped in a frozen wasteland with this thing as it spoke nonsense.
"Okay since I got my voice back but I don't know how long I should keep in this form. I'll make things quick, first off I'm not a threat to humanity and in fact saved it a few times, secondly yes this is a real crown".
Why would he care if the crown was real or not?
Was he always in control and is using Danny's body as a meat suit or was it just at random?
And how could this powerful being not be a threat to humanity, but there was no way to fight it.
Castile kept on trying to find the car handle so if things got bad he could leave, but his hand kept missing as the inhuman being kept on talking.
"As for my 'guardian' situation, it is complicated since technically in the middle of an ongoing custody argument, from what I can tell right now C.W and long Nose is working out different times or seniors they have guardian authority over me if that makes sense?".
All Cas could do was shake his head no, none of this was making sense unless...
Those were obviously code names, but what would C. W and long nose or more of who are they.
Was it possible that Danny was part if some three-way share holds between these powerful creatures, where they are taking turns on using the teen's body?
No that wouldn't make sense since any powerful being would ever share a body vessel, but Cas needed to get to the bottom of this.
Cas's mind was going in every direction trying to figure out what was even going on the creature talked again.
"Well since your questions are now over I'll be turning back to my human form, oh and one more thing",
Cas didn't like the sounds of that, what was he going to threaten Castile with.
He saw the ethereal being smile much more softly at Cas.
"I can promise you no matter what I will not harm your humans, I know what it means to lose the one you care about and I don't ever want to do that to you".
Oh great at least this one was making a promise not to harm his humans which was at least good!
That just left him and the rest of humanity to be possible targets!
With those last passing words the powerful immortal being lost possession over the boy's body and let him drop to the soft leather seat, Cas didn't even realize that Danny even floated up from it till now.
Both went inside, Castile needed to start thinking of a plan or at least get some information on whatever has control over Danny's body, he needed to act promptly for the sake of humanity.
Wait, should he tell the others?
Cas shook his head no, he didn't want to risk them and as long as Danny was close by that thing could take control over again, and if Castile himself couldn't even know what the creature is he doubts the hunters would know.
It would be safer this way, and he needed, WANTED, to keep Dean safe, he couldn't risk losing him again.

~Danny's pov/ time skip~
________________________________________________
__________________________________________________
It had been nearly a week and a half now, and whatever the Winchester's and Bobby were trying to find was obviously not around anymore.
A few times Danny tried to see what they were trying to hunt but that always stopped him before Danny could get too close to even seeing the pictures Bobby had taken.
By now Danny had gained his voice back for his human form or more of he did on the second day but kept quiet till the end of the week so as not to scare anyone.
Danny noticed Cas -he finally heard what the angel guys name was after he finally heard someone say it-, was acting a little standoffish since there 'talk' but Danny wasn't going to complain about it.
Now that Danny had his voice back he had to try really hard not to say thing under his breath just in case anyone was listening.
During the days he was left alone he would update his notebook about what he read on spirits from Bobby's library since it seemed pretty useful.
Danny was talking to himself as he was rereading some entrees and updating them, Danny wasn't paying much attention around himself as he did so.
"Okay so I know now that I've been classifying some of these wrong, echos are at the bottom of the power chain, most spirits are actually unable to float or cause much damage, and a few are attached to their items".
Danny shivered as he thought back to both the ring lady and the dragon ghost, both had similar get-up but difference in power level.
Danny smiled at his new chart, feeling a little happy that he finally had some pieces fit more together.
" huh who knew the box ghost was more powerful than a lady in a nightgown".
As Danny finished up he closed up his notebook and was about to lock it back up when he was suddenly held by the scruff of his plaid shirt by Dean, who looked almost unimpressed but Danny knew he was going to give a lecturer again.
He waited for Dean but instead, he took Danny's notebook, letting him fall back onto the couch as he started to read through it.
The only thing Danny was relieved about is that when he mentioned himself in the book he didn't use his actual name but his nickname Phantom so it would be way harder to figure out who it was if something like this would happen.
Danny waited for about five minutes, five minutes of Dean just moving around the room and soon sitting across from Danny as he handed it over to Sam.
He looked at Dean's face who was actually smiling, not the happy go lucky smile, the smile of 'I just found something that I would have liked to know twenty years ago'.
Dean moved forward to grab his drink and sit back, still looking at Danny with the smile.
"Well kid, from the looks of it you have some explaining to do, I mean it's one thing to have weapons that are very obviously homemade but professionally, and another to have a complete book about, what was it, oh yeah a ghostly dimension, mapped out and all".
Danny swallowed hard, this was going to be hard to explain, including since he wasn't sure if Dean had read through all of it or just skimmed it.
Danny was about to speak until Dean put up one finger.
" but before you say anything I want you to answer the main questions that I have, one of which is how the hell you got all this information in the first place".
Daniel sighed, he knew this was going to be fun.

Broken Wings
A few days before his coronation, Clockwork came looking for the boy who was staring into the void dejectedly, Danny had really thought that being a halfa would at least give him the chance to stay a little longer with his family.
However, as the ghost features were displayed in his human form and his parents suspicion increased, Danny understood that he had become too ghost for humans, it was just depressing to note that even in Infinite Realms he was too human for ghosts as well.
He loved the green freckles on him, he loved how his eyes had flashes of constellations, and even though it was a bit strange, he loved the little crystal in his right hand made of ice, he felt it made him a bit similar to Frostbite; but when he started to freeze everything with his touch he freaked out.
"Difficult times are coming" the master of time commented, caressing the halfa's hair "your coronation will increase your power and although the ghosts will be fine, you won't be able to return to the human world"
"I didn't want to be king" the halfa murmured sadly "I didn't want to leave the world so early"
"No, I guess not" Clockwork sighed "You must be careful, one of your royal duties will make you see things you wish you didn't, I'm not going to stop you but try to make the right choice"
Danny couldn't understand this until a few days after his coronation, when his consciousness expanded through the dimensions and he began to see people's deaths, their thoughts, regrets, dreams. And he could do nothing more than offer them a home in the Realms or guide them to a peaceful rest, praying that it would be enough.
With each passing day he felt more restless; It was then that the death of Jason Todd played in his head, he saw the boy who wanted to fly and he remembered himself when he had the dream of visiting space, he remembered when he learned to float like a ghost and compared it to the moment when Jason discovered Robin, he couldn't help but want to give him a better ending.
Jason Todd's soul was sad and stubborn, he flatly refused to rest, but he also refused to become a ghost; Danny couldn't help but sigh as he saw the little core forming in his hands.
It was then when he broke the rules, more or less; he waited for the moment when a catastrophe would occur in the boy's dimension and sneaked into Jason's grave, placing the small core in his living body and feeding it with his ectoplasm. He didn't know if that would be enough to make him a revenant or a halfa, but it was the best he could do.
"Please fly into the night sky for me" the halfa said sadly as he walked away. He knew he was being unfair by leaving Jason in his own grave, but what if it didn't work? Would he leave a body far from his resting place? No, he did enough, what happen next depends on Jay.
Danny hoped Jason wouldn't resent him for it if he found out in the future. He clapped with joy when Clockwork told him that it worked, but the time master frowned, telling him that he couldn't return to said dimension for a few years.
So it's understandable that Danny was upset when after a few years he decided to travel back to check on Jason and found the boy alive but with his little core surrounded by contaminated ectoplasm.

Twisted Wonderland (Book 2)
Followed Little-Bean and Mewshi Q's playthrough.
Alice's school days are her daydreaming or sketching in her notebook. The professors sometimes tell her to focus or pay attention.
After school, she cleans the dorm by focusing on one room at a time. She changes out of her uniform and wears a sport bra and baseball shorts, keeping a jacket on standby in case someone is at the door.
One day, she's returning to the dorm just to get scared by Lilia and gets a bit mad because her dorm is being used without her permission. However, is looking forward to Halloween now.
Second week of October, waking up on a Tuesday.
The Lion King? Why am I dreaming of that?
What type of sound is that?
"Grim, wake up." Nudges him.
"You jerk."
This freaking ghost.
She's mindless listening, more focus on getting food.
It has been two weeks in my version.
She's intrigued on learning about how magic works in this world.
"Um, have you found a way to send me home?"
The hell, man. Angry eyebrows at him.
"I haven't heard of anything about a tournament."
"So, just like any other sport."
"Are you threatening us?"
"Why are we doing it? Aren't you the headmaster?"
"I have no interest in a sport that I can't even play."
"Seriously? Grim, don't give in."
"Doesn't Grim need six players to play?"
Holding a notepad and writing everything down.
"What happened to cause your injury?"
"Thank you for your help."
"Hold on, I'm just asking what happened." (Trying fight someone for asking how you got hurt. Vil, punish your students.)
"You're going to fight a woman? What kind of gentlemen are you?"
Cringes. "I hope you a speedy recovery."
Looks through notes and is taking in the information when Ace shows up.
"Crowley has us looking into the injured students situation."
"Let's go check on him."
(Grim's ears is the only thing poking up over the side of the bed as he pushes the tuna can up towards Trey.)
"This is very suspicious."
Looks at notes. "Could a student control another student? You said your body was moving on its own, so maybe someone controlling your body to fall down the stairs."
"Maybe we could ask Crowley on who has magic like that."
Riddle wants to go to Crowley with the suspect in hand, but Alice convinces him and the group to talk to Crowley who gives them a small list of the best players. Same adventure, just different approach.
"Grim, it's called baby steps. He isn't going to throw all of the rules out of the window like that."
Looks around Savanaclaw cause new dorm to explore.
She didn't go to the botanical gardens and step on his tail, so the line is "Hey... I know you, you're the new student. Should you really be hanging around some herbivores like them?"
"Hey, you won, there's no need for a rematch."
Grim's mumbling wakes her up and decides to get some air, glancing up at the stars. I wonder how (my brother) is doing. When can I go home? Then she hears a voice and turns to a unfamiliar man with horns. The man seems confused and asks if she lives in the abandoned building, slightly annoyed at it being inhabited.
"Who are you?" She questions in a stern and nervous tone. It's the middle of the night and has a stranger outside her shelter while she's wearing a bathrobe and socks.
He asks for her name, but her tense posture and unsure response convinces him to drop the question. "If you don't wish to tell me your name, then it is all right with me." He is about to introduce himself but decides against it, stating it's better she doesn't know who he is.
"Instead, I will permit you to call me by a name of your choosing. Although you may one day regret it... You probably should head inside for the night. I don't believe you feel warm in that robe." He chuckles. "Farewell." Then disappears.
Alice now feels embarrassed.
What is happening?
"Um, I was getting some air outside."
(Riddle fixing her necktie was kinda cute.)
"Grim, I will hit you with my shoe."
Raises a brow.
(You could have used Grim or grabbed Ace or Deuce's pen.)
"I'm only doing this because the headmaster threatened me."
"Threatened you? How is him threatening you?" -Ace
"He would cut me off on my lunch and such if me and Grim didn't do this."
The growl throws her off.
"He looks up to him."
"But wouldn't it be better to work with us to in sure they're caught? I don't think working alone is going get you anywhere."
In my timeline, the discussion on the plan happened on Wednesday and the tournament happens on Saturday.
What is the reason for those dreams?
Jumps in fear. "Dude, why are you in my room?!"
"You could have knocked on my door instead of walking in when I'm not dressed."
"It's going to be okay, guys."
(I mean, I would too take pictures of myself in the outfit.)
Feels bad for Ruggie at having someone he was helping turn their back to him.
Panics at seeing what is happening to Ruggie and is drawing a blank on what to do.
"The hell?!"
(Lilia, there was no reason to hurt him like that.)
(The collar bursts off and hits someone in the face.)
Her heart is pounding against her chest as the sky turns dark and see blot covering his body to transform him.
Wait... Is that Scar behind him?
She is frozen in place, listening to everyone until they start fighting. She looks around for a place to run and her gaze sets on the bleachers, running towards them and getting behind it.
She presses her knees to her chest on the floor and covers her ears from the yelling and screaming of the students, getting more scared by the second.
The sounds of the battle eventually dies down and she slowly uncovers her ears, getting up from her spot and peeking out to see Leona on the floor, transforming back to himself.
Her vision turns dark and sees and hears his memories.
As the images fade away, she leaps over the bleachers and walks over to everyone, looking down at Leona and kneeling down to him. She takes his head and rests it on her lap and brushes his hair out of his face.
(Trey, never make that face again.)
"Was that a chuckle?"
"But you need three more players."
"Four more players actually, I'm not playing." Grim freaks out and questions her. "Because I have no interest in playing."
Alice was sitting with the audience, which way was Grim trying to throw it?
"Who won?"
Nephew? Wait, is- Her head hurts from Grim's clumsiness.
"What are you smiling about?" -Leona
"It's nice to see the kid loving you. It's cute."
Alice takes some time to think over what happened, writing down her thoughts in a journal from The Mystery Shop. She thinks about the dream, the thing behind Leona and him being the second son. "Is Leona Scar?"
She thinks about Riddle and how his dorm is based on the Queen of Hearts. She starts to get confuse and decides to turn in for the night from her head still hurting.
Raises her brow and walks to the glowing mirror, a bit nervous. Then freaks out at the dark figure in it.
After school, she travels to Savanaclaw to see Leona, getting stopped by the dorm members. "I'm here to see your dorm leader."
Leona appears and asks what she wants. "I just wanted to know if you were okay after what happened, and... you can ignore this part, but I just want to offer if you need someone to talk to, I'll listen."
"I don't need a herbivore pitying me."
"I'm not pitying you, I'm just being nice. Have a nice day."
During the third week, Alice realizes how badly she needs glasses but thinks about Crowley threatening her and figures she can't go to the headmage for help. She tells her troubles to the main three and Grim rats her out to Riddle and Trey.
Riddle offers to help her if she promises to take care of his dorm while they're dealing with their Halloween preparation. She agrees and the dormmates throw together some money for the glasses. The rest of the week she attends the garden, feeds the flamingos and hedgehogs (after she was done petting them), wash dishes, carries boxes of decorations, etc.
Halloween Week happens and has a fun time despite the people breaking into Ramshackle dorm.
On the weekend after Halloween, Trey and Cater takes her to the eye doctor and help pick out frames, then Cater drags her to a store for dresses because she needs to look her best for future unbirthday parties. She buys a pink and a white dress with her emergency money she brought just in case.

Finally Chapter 3 baby...
I say this with love but I do think the most unrealistic part of the chapter was Julius not getting distracted by the opportunity to ask Helena about her magic or to see a demonstration! KASjhfaiusrt! I just think Julius being a magic nerd is cute. Who knows, maybe you'd already got it written in the future that he'll poke his nose in later on to get a peek of Helena's healing magic in action?
Ah... Helena is so cautious and thorough with her plans. She wants to be on the same level as those around her. That way her every move isn't praised just because she'd royalty. And keeping her foreigner status (specifically being from Diamond) hush hush means that no one will immediately show her distrust. Because it'd be hard to learn and grow in an environment where you're not exactly welcome (cough, Noelle parallel, cough cough cough). My my, I wonder what that was about.
‘Hopefully the meals will get much more cheerful once I have people to share them with.’
Oh boy sweetheart, do you have something else coming for you...
The chef's signature dish is roast duck? (looks at Nozel) You wouldn't happen to know what that is, would you?/j
Okay so the paper mask thing... Helena is literally/physically hiding who she is. Then we have Nozel who has an emotional mask of an aloof, has it all together captain. When deep down he is a grieving son and a struggling brother. Dang girl, the parallels and contrasts are still so real!
Oh so that's why she wanted to know where the servant quarters were! An escape route in case the Silvas drive her mad later on!/j Gosh, now I worry that if Helena pulls this multiple times, it might start something. Like "I keep seeing this new lady walking in the servant quarters sometimes but I don't remember her being hired or seeing her work. Actually, I can't be sure if I've seen her face." The maids and butlers are suddenly freaking out about a ghost being in their wing of the castle and Helena is going to be like "oh I didn't see this as a possible outcome!" KJAHSfiuahsirya! I kid I kid! But hey, if the Bulls can think their base is haunted, House Silva deserves a ghost too./lh
Those butlers she passed. I think they do have a little bit of a point. Clover's society is so messed up that of course the lower class people will caste doubt on a "nice" noble. Also, I have to wonder how Diamond's hierarchy is. Like, we know Morris had influence over the king before Mars swooped in... And we know that they're corrupt enough to train kids who look to be 11-12 at most and then experiment on them... Is the ruling family taking kids (likely orphans) from lower classes to be used? Hooo... Maybe I'm thinking too much for still being so early...
ENTER BLACK BULLS! I cannot believe the Black Bulls got to Helena before Nozel. JDhfaiusrht!
so maybe friendship would be hereditary in their case
(laughs in "knows the canon counterparts and knows that Lola won't be so easy on Helena")
Well, chapter four and Silva family, here I come!
Hah don’t worry I have already written a scene in a future chapter (not posted yet) where Julius is very much Julius and fangirls about her magic. So this won’t be omitted. Paper Magic is too… hmm broken, for him to not get interested.
She is very cautious and she has her reasons to be. I love how you’re catching Noelle parallels, because there will be quite a few. So be on a lookout.
Helena is very hopeful ^^ and that signature dish, Nozel fans obviously get it. (The assorted questions brigade is my guidebook, so there will be quite a few easter eggs like this)
I’M SO HAPPY YOU’RE SEEING THE PARALLELS, there will be so many more. Helena was created to explore the Silvas. She’s the main character but it’s a story about their family. So yes masks are symbolic, but also very much needed for the plot to work.
In these first few chapters I wanted to show a bit of her approach to the servants. Although when I’m coming back to it, it feels a bit off and I would have written it so much better now. Yes they do have a point and also remember that Helena is half Clover so her mother has Cloverian views on hierarchy. However since people with more mana are more powerful and in all the other of the suit kingdoms hierarchy seems to be based on that, I assumed it’s like this in Diamond as well. As for the other Diamond related topics, they will be answered much later.
Hah she met Finral and Vanessa earlier. It was a long buildup to finally meet the main characters aka Nozel, Nebra and Solid.
Yeah… you know it just won’t be easy.
Thank you so much for reading <3 The story will slowly pick up the pace from now on.

Could you maybe do something with ghost king Danny attending ua, and with the dorm system they find out? I absolutely adore reveals, and I just think it would be hilarious to see how his classmates could find out, and their reactions! :)
It was supposed to be a normal night.
Everything in the day had gone perfectly. He aced his math test in Ectoplasm's class. Managed to stay awake in Cementoss' class. Absolutely kicked ass with Kirishima and Jirou during foundational heroics, and remembered to call his parents and tell them how school was doing. With enough time to spare for homework.
But just as he was getting settled in, there was a pull at his core.
His transformation came without his permission, and he realized with horror that he was in the outfit that he wore to Council meetings. Fuck-what was happening? Why was his whole body being covered with light? What the fuck was going on?
He tried to resist the pull, but all it did was make his chest ache like a motherfucker. He kept trying though, until he cried out in pain. The bright light enveloped him and in the blink of an eye he was...
In the common room?
He was floating above a sigil that had been painted on a large blanket of canvas, with candles surrounding him. Below him were his very confused classmates, and in the kitchen with a mug halfway to his face was a very wide-eyed homeroom teacher.
"Yo, what the fuck is going on?" Kaminari asked, breaking the tense silence.
"Uh...I think you guys just summoned me on accident?" He asked, stepping down to the ground. He was hyperaware of the crown of ice floating above his head, and the Cape of Constellations brushing his calves.
"We-I was trying to summon the King of Ghosts," Tokoyami stuttered out. "I didn't think it would actually-Danny, are you...The King of Ghosts?"
All of his classmate's eyes were on him. Even Bakugou had stopped whatever he was doing to look at him. In the kitchen, Aizawa's expression was expertly blank, which probably meant he was absolutely furious.
"Uh...I can explain?"
"Please do," Aizawa said as he grabbed his mug and walked to the common room. He stood behind a bewildered Tokoyami. "Please, tell me how my student is apparently the King of Ghosts."
"Well-er, you see," Danny rubbed the back of his neck nervously as he looked from one surprised face to the next. "Almost a year ago there was this big bad guy named Pariah Dark who was let out of his Sarcophagus of Forever Sleep and I helped beat him? And because I was the one that defeated him, by ghost law, I'm the one who has to run the Ghost Zone now."
"I think you misunderstand me," Aizawa says. His voice his horrifyingly calm considering the situation. "Let's rewind to the part where you're apparently a ghost."
"Oh, well, you guys all know about my parents, right? They're a little crazy when it comes to ghosts, and um-well, to make a long story short I got into a lab accident and I sort of...Died? But I'm still alive? It's-I don't really know how the science works, if I'm being honest. But. Yeah. They call me a halfa-half ghost, half human. Half alive, half...dead."
The class was stunned into silence. Danny was so nervous, he knows for a fact that the temperature dropping was his doing and not the AC being fucky again. He really hadn't wanted anybody to find out, let alone like this. And now they were going to think he was a freak. It was just like Spectra said. He's just a creepy little boy with creepy little powers and-"
"What was your quirk before you died?" Tsu asked. Because of course she was going to. She was one of the most observant kids in the class, and the was the one blunt enough to ask what everybody was now thinking. He could feel his face heat up with shame as he looked down, avoiding everybody's gazes.
"I was quirkless before my accident," he tells them. His voice his quiet, but the room is quieter. When he speaks, nobody has a problem being able to hear him.
He hates it. He hates this. He hates being the center of attention. He feels like an exposed nerve that they're all twanging, playing him until he finally snaps. He feels like there's ants under his skin and he can't help but shrink in on himself.
"Do your parents know?" Aizawa asks him. He knows about his parent's reputation as ghost hunters. For their son to be one, it certainly doesn't paint a pretty picture. But thankfully this is one question he doesn't have to worry about.
"Yeah, they do. I told them right before the entrance exam. They-they're helping me out. They've been really supportive. Honestly, I should have told them sooner."
"So do you have any other cool ghost friends?" Uraraka asks. It's enough to break the tension, and Aizawa is looking a little concerned, but not enough to keep pressing. His classmates however, bombard him with questions.
"Are you a ghost hunter too?"
"Is that why you have so many powers?"
"Do ghosts quirks transfer over to the afterlife or do they get a new power depending on how they died?"
"How do the constellations in your cape move like that?"
It's a lot of questions all at once, and Iida, thank time, forces everybody to raise their hands like their in class. But none of them...Care. They probably care that he died in the first place, but they don't care that he's a real ghost-or the Ghost King-and none of them care that he was quirkless. It's so much more than he could have ever asked for.
He looks over at Aizawa, who's back to watching from his spot in the kitchen. He's doesn't bother trying to hide his mischievous grin in his scarf like he usually does as revels in the chaos in front of him. Danny looks to Tokoyami, because it was he apparently who brought Danny downstairs. And, with a completely straight face, says some very off the wall, on brand-Tokoyami shit he's ever heard.
"What a mad banquet of darkness."

DannyMay 2021. Day Twenty-four
"Power"
Continuation to this.
FFN Ao3
Of all the excuses thrown at Lancer by one Daniel Fenton, "A Dream Lord's gonna pick his stuff from my house!" was an unexpected one.
"American Gods!" Lancer exclaimed as not one, but three of his students launched themselves out of their seats and out the door after suddenly coming out of a heat-wave induced stupor. "You three," he hollered as he reached the door and saw them speed through the hallway, "come back here!" He didn't know what had gotten into them this day, but they better pray for mercy the moment they came back.
Which, he realized after five minutes of waiting, was not today.
"If I retire early, it's on them."
- - -
Team Phantom walked along the sidewalk approaching Fenton Works, enjoying the fresh breeze and the tall buildings' shadows.
"Why don't we always skip class?" Tucker asked as they stopped with a street vendor, and got two ice-cream cones and a pop-sickle.
"Not enough good excuses."
"Need to study for adult life."
"Angry parents."
"Yeah…" The three of them said at the same time, just as they reached Danny's home.
"Hold up, I'll check where my parents are and make a diversion if necessary."
"That won't be necessary."
They spun around to find the Dream Lord standing behind them with a small bag on his hip.
Instead of showing any sign of the surprise they felt at his presence, they stared at him with curiosity. "Did ya do something?" Danny asked.
"They are just taking a mid-morning nap."
The Fenton boy stared blankly at him. "Something not lethal that will only last enough for us to finish here and get back to Casper, right?"
Dream gave him an amused huff and an honest answer. "Exactly that."
- - -
"I can't believe it, there is a Dream God in your house, and we have to subject him to your bedroom!" Sam exclaimed, checking Danny's closet while Tucker went through his desk and Danny himself rummaged through his dirty laundry. "Is it this one?" She asked, holding up the thermos she found.
Dream, who assured them he would know when they found the right container with his wayward dream in it, shook his head no.
"Is it this one?"
In his defence, Danny didn't like making powerful ghosts share a thermos, they may escape when he opened the thermos to suck the other one in, or they may band together and break out. But returning the Big Ones back to the Zone, at least immediately after capturing them, was a no go, because they could easily geo out then, as shown by Cujo and freaking Boxy. So, different thermoses.
Dream shook his head once again, and the halfa's shoulders slumped.
"Is this your card?" Tucker asked, showing yet another thermos with a flourish.
"Yes, it is."
Tucker jumped in triumph and Team Phantom once again converged.
"Thank you, Duulaman." The Dream King said.
"I, um, I'm Tucker now." The former pharaoh mumbled.
"I will remember that." Dream said, and proceeded to uncap the Fenton thermos.
But where they expected a burst of light and an angry ghost that turned out to be a dream to come out, nothing happened.
"Come now, Nocturne, you know this is not your place." When nothing happened still, the Endless insisted. "You are not a ghost." And with a flick of a finger, a dense but small cloud of darkness came out of the thermos, twisting in itself and moving the stars that adorned its body, as if reflecting its master's eyes "It's time for you to return home." With a last hand gesture of the being at Danny's doorway, the ghost that had put the whole city to sleep returned to the Dreaming.
- - -
Daniel Hall needs more friends his age, tbh.
I had a lot of fun writing this!
If Team Phantom seemed a little careless around a freaking Endless, it's because here they can perceive Dream is around their age, even if they can't quite tell. It would be like having a young teacher: you know they are an authority figure, but still seem approachable.
Also, for what I saw of Daniel, he doesn't hava that much of Morpheus imposing aura, imo.

TGCF donghua Episode 11 Thoughts (SPOILERS for episode and novel!)
Ok I didn't think they were actually going to kiss, BUT for a heart-stopping second I thought they were gonna get close enough before cutting away. Just to tease us, if for no other reason. I actually held my breath. It was still a big tease nonetheless but I am still grateful for the scene because my God was it beautifully done. The focus on Dianxia's lips as he says Hua Cheng's name, the way his breath catches as HC leans closer, the world fading away around them, HC's ponytail gently falling forward just so, the way they just focus on his lips just as if from Dianxia's POV....all of it just screams romance. Once again, that was all the work of the donghua's team. In the book, this moment occurs when they're actually back at Puqi Shrine, and Xie Lian's actually in the middle of cleaning a table when he very nonchalantly addresses Hua Cheng by his name. It was cute because Dianxia did it so casually but hardly THIS romantic. So, really, hats off to the donghua team!
Actually other than that last scene, of course I am grateful to the donghua team for many other moments in this episode. To start, whenever they show San Lang protecting Dianxia.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
We know Xie Lian can definitely take care of himself, but I appreciate that Hua Cheng's instinct is always to protect him anyway. I actually thought that's why he gave himself the name," Hua Cheng". The words translate to "Flower City", and in the olden days, a city had walls protecting the people in it, so I figured that Hua Cheng chose this name to represent how he will always protect Xie Lian, that his protection is all encompassing. Lol, I can't wait to find out how wrong I am.
Tumblr media
Even though Hua Cheng's fight with Pei Su was mostly off screen and limited to quick flashes of swords clashing, what they did show of Hua Cheng in his "real" form was DELICIOUS.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I am grateful to the donghua team for Hua Cheng's adorable reaction to Dianxia being cheeky. Too precious!
Tumblr media
Our General Hua looking like a god in armor...and the way he made bis appearance in that scene too, like a savior coming to rescue mankind...or in this case, Banyue.
Tumblr media
This scene actually made me tear up. I don't remember thinking Pei Su was that attached to Banyue when reading the book, but that might've been my fault for not paying close enough attention when HuaLian weren't directly involved. I was actually wondering how they were going to conclude the Banyue arc in just one episode since it felt like they would have to pack a lot into just 20 mins or so, but I think they did a really good job of wrapping it up. Didn't feel rushed or that anything important was missing.
Tumblr media
I love both of them already, but I want to especially commend the donghua team's character design for The Wind Master. I don't want to spoil anything for those who haven't read the book, but trust me when I say THAT is a brilliant bit of character design. They will have to change two things about her next season but it's like she's mostly there already. 😂 I also love her voice and voice performance (by VA Qiu Qiu), so perfect for the character. I seriously cannot wait to see more of her next season, especially after hearing that news about the VA. 😁
Tumblr media
I guffawed. This was a bit of brilliance too. Man, I just love the donghua team! They really did such a GREAT JOB bringing TGCF to life. I mean, is there really anyone who hates this adaptation?? I guess if you weren't into Xie Lian and Hua Cheng's relationship, the case of the week parts might be a bit underwhelming, but what I appreciate about them is that they inevitably link back to Dianxia and his past, or introduce us to new characters which then opens up the world. They always have a purpose, leading to bigger things. As a first season I think it was pretty strong, what they changed from the source material were usually positive alterations. I mean, I'm reading the book now because of this show, after putting it off for so long, so I'm definitely converted.
I do have to say though that the season did end on a rather odd note since it felt like there should have been just a few more beats before the end credits. It was a little abrupt imho, but it still is miles better than poor SVSSS's season finale, which ended on a freaking scene transition.
Of course there's still that special HuaLian episode on February 16th, so I guess technicallyyyyy this first season hasn't quite ended yet. The special looks to be picking up right where this episode leaves off: with Dianxia having a conversation with Hua Cheng back at Puqi Shrine about his role as Ghost King and other related topics. I'm not sure why it's airing a month and a half later, or why on February 16th instead of Valentine's Day, but I'm not gonna look a gift horse in the mouth. I'm just grateful we have more TGCF and HuaLian to look forward to. Second season is already in production, and apparently the theme song for it will drop tomorrow! A live action has been announced which they're still casting, and honestly some of those casting choices scare me so depending on who they end up deciding on, I might just gonna stay away from that completely and stick with the donghua and book.
Novel Reading Progress...about to finish Book 2... SPOILERS
MXTX-laoshi is a total sadist giving us THAT kind of sex pollen scene when nothing could be done cuz Hua Cheng's still a little bean sprout...I love Dianxia, love him more now knowing he was a pretty flawed human being, that he's absolutely not perfect...his heart is warm but his actions are sometimes quite cold...I blame his privileged upbringing and his youth and inexperience for some of his rash decisions...he means well but of course the road to hell is pathed with good intentions...wish he would stop forgetting about little Hua Cheng though, poor baby...the more I read about the human face disease the more I don't want to...just, overall, I feel this heavy weight on my heart now because I know things are going to go from worse to utter calamitous shit soon. I am SCARED, preparing my heart for breakage.
