So, I woke up this morning with inspiration-
Some warnings: Suggestive bits, Robin is married to a guy named Chad ( not for real though, I just wanted something ridiculous to really snap Steve out of lala land) Stancy but not for long, MDI! Seriously if you don't have an age in your bio or on your blog, I will block you!
-
Basically it all starts with Steve opening his eyes. He's in that strange state where he's not quite awake, but not asleep either. The house isn't exactly like his, but it also has a few familiar things. The duck theming, the multiple garages, his blue room. There's someone laying beside him, their back turned away. Curly brown hair tickles his nose and he slowly shifts closer to nuzzle into it.
"Steve?"
A hand reaches back, the cool touch of a ring caresses his face and he almost purrs. Nuzzling deeper into the softness while his arms move to wrap around their familiar middle.
"Mornin' Nancy."
She turns around, smiling up at him and tucking some hair away from her face. Her wedding ring shining in the light of the morning. "Morning, love. Come on, let me get some breakfast started before you head to work."
He's still a little dazed as he follows her down the stairs of his home, their home. Nancy is dressed, her hair prim and proper as she starts on some eggs and bacon. She’s a vision, and Steve can’t help but watch her for a second, leaning his head against the wooden door frame. “What time do you head out?” He asks, looking around for her latest article or piece she’s been working on.
“Oh, not today. Already got everything the day before, so I’m just staying home.” She smiles, passing him a tall glass of orange juice. “Though, is there something you want me to pick up at the store for you? I thought I got everything on the list, but I can go again.” Placing down a plate of eggs, she kisses the top of his head and settles down across from him.
“Really? Damn, I hope the paper doesn’t call you in on your day off.” He muses, grabbing a thing of toast and bitting into it.
“Paper? Steve, are you…okay? I haven’t worked at the paper since we got married a year ago.”
Steve blinks, looking up at her. He blinks again, trying to understand where that assumption even came from. “Right, I uh..I’m sorry. I woke up kinda strange this morning.”
“Well, hopefully it clears up during your ride to work. Oh! Here, I packed your lunch and remember to come home on time for dinner, okay? I’m making your favorite and we have guests coming over~” She leans down to kiss his cheek before suddenly he was in the car. His hands on the steering wheel, lunch safely buckled in the side seat.
Rubbing at his temple, Steve slowly drives down the road towards his father’s business. Well, not before stopping abruptly.
There’s a man standing there, in the middle of the road. Messy brown curls rest upon his shoulders, chains glittered in the light, and he was staring at him.
Oh great, of course this happens today.
Steve honks his horn before leaning out the window. “Hey man, look can you move? I’m trying to get to work.”
The guy doesn’t move. “Where do you work?”
“….My dad’s company, you know, Harrington’s?”
“Jesus, really? You seriously picked that?”
Steve narrows his eyes, frowning and honking the horn again. “Seriously, now move okay? I don’t have time for this.”
“You’re already starting to sound like a grumpy old business man. But yeah, your right, you don’t have time, Steve.” The guy finally moves, but he starts coming around to the drivers side. Something glints in his hand and Steve’s heart rate spikes. He ducks into the car, rolls the window up and speeds down the road while the guy flails away to avoid the dust kicking up. Steve watches him stomp the ground in anger through his rear view mirror. “What a freak.”
Work seemed to start and end the second he stepped into the building. He remembers walking through the revolving door and then walking out, the sky a dusty orange instead of blue. He steps out to his car, only to tense when that familiar mop of brown curls greet him. “Get off the hood before I call the police.” He threatens, glaring as the man lounges upon his beemer’s hood like he fucking owns it. “I don’t know what you want from me, man, but you need to leave me the hell alone.”
“Why? Don’t wanna talk?” He counters, not moving. Instead he seems to relax even more, legs widening as he gazes up at Steve with those big brown eyes. “Last time I was like this, you didn’t seem to mind. Like at all.”
Steve swallows thickly, heat creeping up his neck as he looks over the man on his car. Last time? There was a tingle of a memory at the edge of his mind. The buzz of cicadas, curls wrapped up on his fist as he pressed closer to him, heat blooming inside of his chest as they got closer.
He blinks and the memory recedes away, like it was snatched right from his head. “I don’t- I’m married.” He holds up his finger and the man pauses, was that…sorrow in his eyes? It’s gone as soon as it was there, instead replaced with steely determination. “Steve, you need to wake up.”
“What?”
“This…this isn’t real, okay? None of this is real.” Suddenly the man is gripping his arms, almost hard enough to bruise. “It’s some fucked up dream, but it’s not yours. I mean, Jesus man, what a way for him to waste all that time you took figuring out who you were, huh?”
“I’m…I’m Steve, Steve Harrington and who…who the fuck even are you?” Steve pushes him off, pinning him against his car. “What kinda drugs are you on? You need a hospital, dude. I can take you to one, but you need to empty out whatever knife you had in your pocket.”
“Knife?” The man asks, slowly shaking his head. He isn’t even resisting, Steve notes. “It wasn’t- Steve, I know the bottle thing happened but I wasn’t exactly in the best headspace and I’d never hurt you-“
“Stop acting like we know each other! Who are you? Tell me.” Steve shakes him and that’s when the man grips at his wrists, though it was more tender then frightened. “Eddie, my name is Eddie Munson. We do know each other. Really, really well.” Eddie looks up at him, pleading. “Steve, you gotta wake up. Please, we don’t have much time.”
It was all too much. Steve pulls away, shoving Eddie in the process away from his car. “You need to leave.” He points off in the distance. “I dunno what kind of…make believe you’re living in, but I’m married and now I’m gonna go see my wife.” He slips into the car, trying to ignore those sad eyes watching him as he drove back home, shaking.
The rich scent of chicken greets him when he steps inside. Shaking away the events in the parking lot, Steve wraps his arms around Nancy in the kitchen. “I’m home. Smells good.” He murmurs, kissing her cheek. Nancy giggles, batting him away. “Steve! I’m trying to cook! Can you help set the table? Everyone should be here soon.”
As he sets the table, Steve hums a little to himself. Some oldies tune he heard on the way home. “Dream a little dream of me..” He mumbles, swaying to himself as he imagines him dancing with his love. Though did they have blue eyes or brown? Were they in his parents house or a homey trailer, a mug collection slowly being rebuilt in the living room?
“Steve!”
Blinking, Steve jumps back away from the broken pieces at his feet. Something old from his mother’s cabinet, not a mug. “Shit-“ He bends down, gathering it in his hands even if he might get cut. “Are you okay?” Nancy asks, coming closer and crouching down in front of him. Her face twisting at the sight of a cut on his hand. “Oh- ow.” She winces, reaching out to hold it in her hands.
“Yeah, I’m fine. I’ve had worse, remember?” Steve offers, chuckling softly but his expression freezes as Nancy furrows her brows. “What?”
The doorbell rings and they scramble to cone out from beneath the table. “Oh, Dingus, come on-“ Robin comments, rolling her eyes as she pulls a young man behind her. “See? You owe me fifty bucks, I told you they’d be kissing when we got here.” She teases, shaking her head and walking around to look at the glass. “Oh shit- Your mom’s gonna kill you, dude.”
He brightens upon seeing Robin, though he starts to frown when the young man with her curls an arm around her waist. “Hey man, what- What are you doing?”
The guy has the audacity to laugh, pulling Robin close and kissing her cheek. “What, you can kiss your wife under the table and I can’t kiss mine on the cheek?”
What.
Steve looks at Robin, who just smiles up at him as if there wasn’t anything wrong. As if this situation wasn’t utterly ridiculous. “Oh…okay Rob, that’s funny but come on, you can’t think I’m that gullible.”
“Steve?” Nancy comes around, holding his arm. “What’s wrong?”
Steve looks at her, hoping to catch any semblance of being in on some joke, but all he saw was concern in those ice blue eyes. “Well yeah, I mean, Robin’s-“ He stops himself, not wanting to out his friend like that. “Not one to settle down? Yeah, that’s what I thought before I met Chad.” Robin coos, curling into him. Steve has to hold back an incredulous laugh, though really he could feel a pressure behind his eyes.
“Look whatever- Whatever joke you think this is, it’s not funny. You three, that weird guy in the parking lot-“ He’s backing away now, eyes glancing at everyone he knew. Though now they were more like strangers then anything else. “Robin, come on, I’m having a weird fucking day and this is really freaking me out-“
“Steve, dude, your freaking me out.” Robin comes closer, only to jump when he grabs her hand and pulls her into the living room. “Steve! What the fuck is wrong-“
“Is that guy threatening you?” He asks, voice low and deadly serious. “Is that why you won’t tell me? I swear to god, I’ll beat the shit out of him so hard, he’ll never set foot near you ever again-“
“Steve.” Robin hisses, grabbing at his arm. “You’re scaring me, I thought you liked Chad?”
“Who cares about Chad! Fuck Chad. What about you? What about Vicky? You know, the girl you’ve been hopelessly pining over for literally so long?”
Robin blinks, slowly pulling away from him. “Look, when you invited me over, I thought you wanted to tell me you and Nancy are finally starting your family. I don’t even know what…all of this is.” She gestured to him. “So, I’m going back into the dining room to help your wife and my husband set the table. Come back in when you’re not a total mess, okay?”
Steve stands there, alone. His head is pounding and wonders if another migraine is coming on. He can hear their hushed voices in the dining room, and it’s in that moment, he knows he can go in there. That whoever these people were, they aren’t his family.
So he runs. He slips out the back door, jogging through the woods even though he can hear their worried cries behind him. Sure, he should take his car, but he left his key back at the house. Thank god he did though, thank fuck he didn’t drive because then he wouldn’t have stumbled upon the sprawled out body of Eddie Munson against a tree. Blood slipping out of his mouth.
“Oh, fuck-“ He runs closer, kneeling down beside him. “Eddie? What- What the fuck happened?”
The man coughs, lightly shaking his head. “Was…tryin’ to come find you again. Then…he attacked me. God, those vines hurt like a bitch..” He leans back against the tree, allowing the moonlight to show off the jab into his side.
“…You were right.” Steve offers, pulling off his work shirt and wrapping ripped strips around his bleeding middle. “Nancy’s acting weird, Robin married a guy named Chad-“
Eddie’s face twists. “Seriously? Oh, she’s going to murder him when I tell her. Though, figures some crazy killer from the 50s is also a homophobic piece of shit.” He groans as Steve lifts him, his head lulling to the side to rest against his shoulder. “When it was you, I just thought he was tryin’ to cut me out of the picture, but I guess the guy is just shitty.”
“But why? Why cut you out? Are we…really?” Steve starts walking, but he isn’t sure where he’s going. All he knows is that he needs to keep Eddie safe and to stay away from that house as much as possible.
“Yeah, Sunshine. Been together ever since ‘87. It was supposed to be our anniversary…” Eddie sighs, tucking his face against Steve’s neck. “But then he just had to pop out of the ground like the worlds worst Ground Hog, and fuck everything up. I had such a great gift too, was gonna take you on a round trip to all the famous baseball stadiums.”
Steve pauses, cheeks dusting with pink before he starts walking again. “…That sounds great but I still don’t really…get any of this.”
Eddie sighs, curling up more in his arms as they travel aimlessly through the forest. “….It all started in 1986, and Vecna finally decided to show himself..”

LITTLE SPOON | (l.norris)
Tumblr media
summary: Lando’s never been the little spoon before
wordcount: 1.3k words
pairing: landonorris x fem!reader
warnings: none!
notes: it’s rather short, but I didn’t know what else to write
You’ve been dating Lando for a little over three months, in these months you‘ve tried to see Lando as often as possible, which was a bit tricky sometimes with his crazy schedule, but you still made it work.
Today wasn’t a day made for Lando, when he woke up this morning, it was raining and he noticed that he forgot to charge his phone and he didn’t have the time to charge it, his portable charger was also running low on battery, so he had to fly to England with only twelve percent. When he was at the MTC, he sat in the simulator and didn’t get the results he wanted, and Oscar was quicker in almost every sector. And in the cafeteria, they only had foods involved with fish, and the only thing that wasn’t near a fish, didn’t taste good. That almost ruined his day, the cherry on top was when he was on his way to you and stopped for a small grocery run, he got crowded by his fans outside, someone must’ve posted that he was in a Tesco in London. After taking pictures with almost everyone, he looked at his phone and saw about ten missed calls and at least twenty messages from you, asking where he was and if he could bring some extra apples. With a groan, he went back inside and prayed that no one else was waiting for him, and luckily there were only about ten people this time, he quickly said hello to everyone and hopped back into his car, which was also running low on fuel and he had to get gas, taking him even longer to be in your arms.
The last thing that almost made him cry, was when he went up the stairs to your apartment and with the heavy bags in his hands, he didn’t see a step and tripped, luckily he didn’t get seriously hurt, but the groceries were now all over the floor and his knee was hurting from the fall. After collecting it and putting it back into the bags, he had enough. Enough of this stupid day. He rang your doorbell and stomped passed you directly to the kitchen where he unloaded the food, with a surprised look you followed him.
“Hello to you too, my darling.”
“Sorry, bad day.”
And with that, he turned to you and fell into your arms, you caressed his back and kissed his neck and cheek repeatedly, wanting to comfort him.
“What happened?”
“It all started this morning with me forgetting to charge my phone, being shit in the simulator, bad food, and don’t get me started on the huge crowd that stood outside of Tesco, I also fell up your stairs.”
You immediately pouted and pushed him away to look at him, “My angel, is there anything I can do?”
“Make me food and cuddle”, Lando said after a while of thinking.
You nodded and kissed his lips with a smile, you knew he needed to be babied now, you sent him to the couch where he put on his favorite show, while you made dinner. You didn’t waste too much time preparing a fancy dinner, some pasta, and a sauce, but you knew that was his comfort food, your pasta.
Normally you sat down at the dinner table to eat, but you figured he needed his comfort show and the couch tonight, the day clearly wasn’t nice to your boy, so you could be to him.
With two plates in your hands, you made your way to him, he was lying on the couch with a small pout while checking his phone every now and then.
“I‘m finished with dinner, can you sit up so you can eat?”
He nodded and scooched a little to the right, so you could sit next to him and share the coffee table, you placed the plates on said table and sat down. You kissed his shoulder, “Enjoy your meal, Lan, after that, we can cuddle or whatever you’d like.”
“I‘d like that, thank you for making dinner, I wanted to help you.”
“Don’t worry, we all have bad days sometimes.”
You both started eating and silently watched the show Lando put on, you let him be in his head and think about the day he had. Lando and you quickly finished your meal and he immediately leaned back against the soft cushions, you knew he wouldn’t be doing anything today.
“Can I put the dishes in the dishwasher quickly or do we want to cuddle now?”
“If you hurry with the dishes?”
“Always.”
So you quickly put the dishes in the dishwasher and grabbed a kinder chocolate bar that you could give to Lando, maybe that would cheer him up a little, you always kept a small stack of these in case that Lando gets a sweet tooth and needed chocolate.
When Lando saw you coming back, he laid down and opened his arms, for you to lay in.
“Don’t you wanna be the small spoon today? I want to comfort you.”
“Nah, I‘ve never been the little spoon, I get comforted when I hold you in my arms.”
“You’re a walking cheeseball, aren’t you? I brought you a kinder chocolate bar.”
He quietly mumbled a ‘Thank you’ and already opened the package of the small chocolate before you could lie down.
You moved in front of him and he closed his arms around you and snuggled with his face in your neck, inhaling your scent he loved so much. Your hands found their way to his‘ and you caressed his knuckles and played with his long fingers, both of you were silent and enjoyed the peace that lingered in the living room. You knew Lando was exhausted so it was no wonder that he fell asleep pretty quickly.
You hated to wake him up, but you knew if he would sleep on the couch he would have back pain tomorrow, so you carefully turned around in his embrace and kissed his chin. Slowly caressing his cheeks and repeatedly kissing his face, everywhere where you could reach him. Slowly he opened his eyes and groaned, he needed his sleep and hated getting disturbed.
“Should we move this to the bedroom? You‘ll be more comfortable there.”
Lando nodded against your neck in which he had put his head after opening his eyes. You got up and pulled on his hand, he got up after looking at you with a pout and you walked into the bathroom where you two did your little night routine. When you went into the bedroom, Lando laid down on his side and opened his arms again, waiting for you to slip in.
“What if I‘m the big spoon tonight, you’re still not feeling too good, and it can be very comforting.“
“I don’t know Y/N, I‘ve never been the little spoon, I want to protect you and hold you close.”
“I‘m still close to you when I cuddle you, come on, let’s try it out, we can switch back if you don’t like it.”
“You won’t give up, will you?”
You shook your head and he scooched a little more to your side, you laid down and wrapped your arms around his body, caressing his tummy, you also slipped a leg between his. It felt good having him in your arms and cuddling like that.
After a few minutes you felt him moving, “And? What do you think?”
“It’s the best fucking thing ever, you’re never gonna be the little spoon ever again, only if you have a bad day, baby.”

ateez as incubi
seonghwa ~ in your sleep, you had the most vivid and pleasurable dream of your life. you had a mysterious man between your legs, face buried in your pussy, clit between his lips. upon waking up, the fantasy didn’t end. you stirred hazily, moaning at the imagined sensation in your clit. it became a little too vivid, however, when you felt a long tongue slither inside of you. you looked down, seeing that the man was real, and he was still working your pussy dutifully. you knew you should have felt scared, but somehow the only thing you said was, “don’t stop.” this caused the man to chuckle against you. “don’t you worry, doll,” he said, “you’re so delicious, i’ll never get enough.”
hongjoong ~ when you awoke from your restless sleep, you had tears running down your cheeks. there was a sheen of sweat across your body and a dull throbbing between you legs. at first everything was hazy and confusing, but then you heard your demon’s voice break the silence of the night and it all came together. “what’s wrong, little baby?” he mocked from your bedside where he pervertedly observed your plight. “do you need me so bad? these fingers, this dick? tell me how much you need me.”
yunho ~ you woke up to your walls being stretched open by something ice cold. you realized it didn’t hurt because you were already soaking wet somehow. then you realized the handsome man slowly materializing on top of you, eyes locked on yours, hips sliding carefully closer. you groaned as he filled you up entirely, hands moving with a mind of their own as they reached to hold onto the man’s shoulders. “it’s so big,” you moaned. the man smirked, hips beginning to fuck in and out of you. “you know, i can make it even bigger, if you think this little pussy can handle it.”
yeosang ~ you were grinding against your mattress, a rhythmic flow of moans and whimpers echoing in your room as you dreamt of yeosang. in your dream, he was all over you - tongue down your throat, face in your pussy, and dick pounding into your soaking heat. “there you go,” dream yeosang whispered, “make yourself feel good, my darling.” your eyes slowly opened and for a moment you were utterly disappointed about losing your dream. that was, until you realized yeosang was lying right beside you, urging you on further, “don’t stop, baby, i want to see you make yourself cum.”
san ~ you opened your eyes when you heard a familiar voice filling your bedroom with sweet, soothing melodies. “sannie?” you called, sitting up and rubbing your eyes. “good morning, sweetheart,” he smiled cheerfully. you smiled in return, but groaned when you felt a throbbing ache in your clit. “it hurts again,” you said. that pain always seemed to return when san stopped by to visit. “i know, angel,” he cooed, placing his icy cold hands on your thighs and rubbing them gently. “do you need sannie to take care of it for you?”
mingi ~ “get up,” a deep voice commanded, awaking you from your dreams. you shot up and scanned your bedroom for intruders. sure enough, he was there staring down at you, and he was mad. “mingi?” you said softly. “what’s wro-” he cut you off: “where have you been for the last week?” your heart sank. he was really mad. it struck no fear in you, just stirred up butterflies in your stomach. “i-i was on vacation, i’m sorry i forgot to tell you.” mingi scoffed. “vacation… you’ve been naughty for the last time, do you understand?” you couldn’t hold your smile back, thrilled for what mingi might have in store for your punishment.
wooyoung ~ the last thing you expected to see when you first opened your eyes was a dick inches from your face. but that’s what you got, and you weren’t complaining. “suck it,” wooyoung demanded. having just woken up, you were a little slow to register what was going on. getting impatient, wooyoung reached out to stroke your jaw, thumb landing on your chin and gently pushing your mouth open. “i said suck it for me, baby.”
jongho ~ you awoke when you heard someone calling your name in a singsong voice. you looked around your room expecting to see him there, but he wasn’t. “jongho?” you whispered. suddenly, there was a strong hand wrapped around your throat, pressing gently on your airway. you grabbed his wrist, and then he became visible. jongho was floating just above your mattress, staring intensely into your wide eyes. he lowered himself so he was straddling you and strengthened his grip around your neck. “please,” he scoffed, “don’t look so scared. i can smell how wet you are from here.”

I Think I Like This Little Life
Nanami x gn!reader
Fluff
Nanami and reader have an adult conversation…
Warnings: a tiny bit suggestive in one part
“Kento.”
“Hm?”
“Are we boring?”
You and Nanami finally had a day off where neither of you were completely exhausted, nor were you called off in some sketchy part of the city to fight curses or held up in your offices, catching up on paperwork. When you woke up that quiet Saturday morning, you felt strangely relaxed. Nanami greeted you with his signature sleepy smile and a kiss on the forehead when he got out of bed. Since it was the weekend, you figured it was the best time to do all the fun things you’ve wanted to but never had the time for. However, you found yourself rain checking invitations for lunch with your cousin and clubbing with your friends. Of all the ideas that sounded the most pleasant to you today, those weren’t it. You slowly peeled yourself out of the bed sheets and draped a bathrobe over your pajamas to ease the chill. You padded your way to the kitchen where soft classical music filled the air and Nanami was simultaneously brewing tea and cooking eggs.
“Good morning, darling,” he called out, giving you another peck, this time on the cheek. “Did you sleep well?”
“With you next to me, my love? Always,” came your reply, earning you the chance to see a small blush on your boyfriend’s face before he turned back to the task at hand. You hummed along quietly to the song that was playing and appreciated the view you had of your domesticated partner. As he finally set a mug and plate down in front of you, everything piping hot, you smiled appreciatively and waited for him to seat himself before savoring the delicious breakfast. These types of quiet mornings were your absolute favorite. There was no need to fill the air with mindless chatter or anxious laughter. The company of each other was more than enough for both of you. The shy stolen glances between you at the dining table were routine in your relationship as you both found yourselves enamored with each other but still lost in the throes of young love. Your first meal eventually came to a close and as you stood to do the dishes, Nanami was quick to intervene.
“Don’t worry about those, y/n, I’ll do them. Please, sit down and enjoy your rest.”
You rose anyway. “No way! You cooked us a delicious meal, it’s only fair I clean it up.”
Nanami looked like he wanted to protest but gave up when he saw the determination on your face. “Fine. You wash, I’ll dry.”
As the last dish was put away and the sink rinsed clean, Nanami strolled over to you, grabbing you by the hips and staring deep into your eyes. “You know, I have a big day planned for us.”
You tried not to let your disappointment show. You had hope for a day filled with recharge and rejuvenation but you didn’t want to let your lover down. “Oh? And what’s included in that?”
He cocked his head, pretending to be deep in thought. “Well, first off we could…” He trailed off, distracted by your extremely kissable lips that were extremely close to his own. As he leaned in, painfully taking his time, his phone began to ring loudly.
“Tch,” he muttered under his breath, but you weren’t deterred. You ran your fingers through the hair at the base of his neck, goosebumps immediately popping up on his skin, and closed the distance, slotting your lips against his. You both made a contented noise at the contact. The kiss was gentle but needy, passionate but tender. Nanami’s phone had stopped ringing for but just a moment before the tone began again. He groaned into the kiss but still didn’t stop, his hands now roaming freely over your body and now it was your turn to groan, albeit for a different reason. His phone stopped ringing and started again once more.
“Whoever it is better have a good reason for interrupting us,” grumbled Nanami, breaking from your touch to answer his cellphone. “Nanami Kento. Oh, it’s you. No, thank you. I have plans. Yes, plans. No, not with you. No. No. I’ll see you on Monday.” He hung up.
“Let me guess, that was Gojo?” you mused, a grin erupting on your face. You could tell it was the white haired man on the phone with your beloved because he was immediately annoyed. Nanami nodded his head, his arms enveloping you in a hug as he rested his chin on your head.
“He wanted to know if we wanted to go out with him tonight for dinner and then clubbing. I hope you don’t mind I turned him down.” The blonde was taken aback by your giggling. “What’s so funny?” he asked you, letting go of the hug but holding you by the shoulders.
“I turned down my cousin and friends for lunch and the club today as well.” Nanami breathed a sigh of relief.
“Good. I have no plans today, I want no plans today. This day is ours and we will do as we please.” You nodded in agreement and sealed that with another long winded kiss before you went to your bathroom to get ready.
Thankfully the day had gone by pretty slow. It was a beautiful spring day so you and Nanami enjoyed a nice stroll around your neighborhood, listening to the chirps of the birds and rustling of the squirrels. You pointed things out to each other like a gorgeous flower (that Nanami of course compared you to) and a garden gnome (you couldn’t help that it looked just like Nanami!). You even cloud gazed for a while, enjoying the smells of the freshly mowed grass you found yourself laying on. When it came time for lunch, you made sandwiches for the both of you and munched on them while you did word search puzzles and Nanami did Sudoku puzzles. Like before, not many words were shared during this time but the comfortable silence was everything you could wish for. The plates were cleared, the sponge rinsed out. Another meaningful kiss was shared. Now it was time for household chores. You dusted while Nanami vacuumed. Nanami put the clothes in the washer, you put them in the dryer, you both folded them when they were done. You cleaned the sink in the bathroom while Nanami cleaned the toilet and shower. When that was done, it was time for another break. You picked up the cross stitch project you had been working on while Nanami settled for reading his newspaper. You sat in the family room on the couch while he opted for the chair. The window was opened slightly which allowed for the faintest touch of fresh air to be brought in by the light breeze. It was getting late into the afternoon and the birds, though still singing their songs, were beginning to head into their nests for the night. As you got lost into your project, the rustling of the newspaper brought you back to earth and into a new thought.
“Kento.”
“Hm?”
“Are we boring?”
Nanami lowered his paper and raised his eyebrows. “I don’t usually answer a question with a question, so forgive me y/n, but what brought on that thought?”
You went back to your cross stitching, nervously weaving the needle back and forth. “Well, it’s Saturday. We were asked to go out and join our friends in doing crazy things and instead we acted like an old married couple.”
“Would you have liked to gone out?”
“No. Would you?”
“Absolutely not.” His response was lightning fast.
“And so,” you laughed, “that raises the question. Are we boring?”
Nanami neatly folded his newspaper and sat next to you, taking your project out of your fidgeting grasp and replaced it with his hands. “I would spend the rest of my days watching paint dry if I had the pleasure of you sitting next to me as I did it. If the only views I ever saw were of neighborhood animals and our kitchen stove, as long as you were by my side, I’d be the happiest man on the planet. If that makes me boring, so be it.” You could tell he meant every word of what he said. Maybe you were being too hard on yourself—being able to build a life with someone as loving and kind as Nanami isn’t a privilege everybody is able to have and so what if people don’t understand you like to live a slow life? The only thing that matters at the end of the day is that Kento Nanami is yours, and you, his. You lifted your entwined hands up to your lips and gave his knuckles little kisses to show your appreciation for his answer. Unfortunately for you, you would never know just how wildly fast Nanami’s heart beat in his chest at the action, but you could get a feeling for what was going on by the deep blush spreading on his cheeks and his slightly flustered body language. You were definitely going to cancel plans to stay in more often.

“he follows until you are pressed to the cold wall, his arm around you, pulling you back so you wouldn’t have to be cold all night”
this made me remember that bed post, of how couples sleep Vs how single ppl sleep. Single ppl often have their bed up against the wall, cause it saves space and they don’t need to worry about falling off the bed, while couple usually have their bed in the middle with the headboard against the wall and the sides not touching anything, and that makes it easier for one of them to get up without having to disturb the other. This made me think… it would be such a yandere thing to do to have the bed pressed up against the wall anyways, so their darling can’t leave without them knowing or waking up. It just feels like such a subtly controlling action, where the darling wouldn’t be able to even go to the washroom in the middle of the night without the yandere allowing it. I mean, they prob would have had to wake up the yandere anyways if the yandere hugs them in their sleep, but this is still make the darling feel even more confined mentally, because they know that there is no way that they could sneak out so they would stress over whether they should wake up the yandere or if they would be able to tolerate it till morning comes. It makes you wonder if the yandere did it on purpose or by accident, especially if the yandere lives in a spacious house so there is no actual need to press the bed against the wall… ah, I just think it makes for a very nice small detail in this kind of scenario ☺️
(Sorry if this is rambling, I just woke up so my brain is muddled lol)
I haven't heard about that theory before! But it makes sense, now that I think about it :D
(Warning: Yandere, Sexual Mentions)
I can totally see yans taking advantage of that. Two entrances to the same bed are just taking up sooo much space (even if the room is completely empty otherwise, hehe). Why not make sure the darling has to do impossible aerobics to get on top and over their captor if they want to get out? Oh, the darling is such a tease, accidentally loosing their footing and waking the yandere with the beautiful sight of their darling on top of them. And then there's the wonderful spiel of:
"I just need to go to the toilet."
"Sure you do, darling."
Even if he yan knows the truth they just grip their darling's waist, keeping them in place and teasing them a little before allowing them to finally get off their captor and to the bathroom, the yan always following of course, yawning but excited to be up with their darling.
Or the very clingy yans that cannot imagine sleeping separately from their darling, even if the darling is sweating bullets because it's so damn hot in the room and locked in the yan's arms around them. They already abstain from drinking before going to bed, knowing they won't be able to free themselves of the yan's hold, so now they just hope to pass out from heatstroke or dehydration 'cause they are so fucking tired but can't sleep.
And then, of course, there's the aspect of being able to watch their darling all night long. It might take them a while with their captor staring down at them for hours to no end. How could they sleep with their sweet love right next to them? Pass up the chance to leave fluttering touches all over their bodies and whisper sweet nothings into their ear while they dream (hopefully of the yandere)? Never! They're just looking out for you—protecting you even! But the pleasure is all theirs, and the yan soaks up ever little utter or whimper from their darling, drunk on the vulnerable sight of their most precious darling. ♥
Oh, and can you imagine, those really mean yandere that drug their darlings? They are so freaking overjoyed when their darling is searching for any kind of comfort, after the yan put them into bed, while their brain is a huge mess. Darlings that cry and sob, but then bury their face in the yan's chest and the yan just instantly has a huge grin on their face as they pat their darlings head and rub their back, telling them everything is okay. They try to be empathetic but they just can't stop grinning, loosing their freaking mind from excitement. Yans who get so fucking hard/wet from their darling inching as close as possible to them, scared of some imaginary monsters they are trying to hide from, not realizing the monster is right in front of them.
Last but not least, sharing a bed doesn't just mean sharing a mattress. There's also just one blanket and one pillow, and the darling will be forced to stay near and rest their head on the yan's arm or chest. There's no escaping that, so they'll eventually admit defeat due to being so tired. But the morning after is when things get really interesting. When the mood shifts from sleepy to horny real quick, the yan not wanting to lose the warmth they shared all night, as always insatiable for their darling.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts!

As long as you need
Leah Williamson x reader
Warnings: talks of periods, blood, endometriosis, just fluff, sorry it’s short. Got my period today and have been dying and so this was born
Periods where a natural occurrence for women globally, with each woman experiencing different things throughout their cycles, some suffered from hormone imbalances which caused them to gain acne or moody, some girls bloated during their cycle, some girls felt depressed, some got cramps and some girls had no symptoms but some girls also got all symptoms together or suffered really really bad cramps.
Leah suffered with cramps, not an uncommon symptom of periods but she suffered with them terribly even long before you both had met, she had opened up to you about them two months into your relationship talking to you about how one cycle she could be fine the next slight cramping but when she had a flare up boy did she crumble with pain and discomfort, you had thanked her for trusting you enough with this information before telling her you would be there for her no matter what and you had been there for whenever she needed. You had also been there in the doctors office holding her hand when they finally told her she had endometriosis, when the doctors had finally listened to her and told her that what she was going through wasn’t just her being dramatic like she so feared. You had sat reminding her how strong she was and how you would be there to support her through it all any flare up that came her way.
And today was a a bad flare up today was your four year anniversary and you had been excitingly planning a trip to a local castle to stay for a few nights basking in each other’s presence for a few nights before heading home to The Williamson’s weekly dinner. You had woken up in your excitement texting Leah happily wishing her a happy anniversary and that you would see her just before lunch when you planned to pick her up and drive to the castle. Getting ready for the day you waltzed around your apartment busting yourself with packing the last of the things you needed.
You checked your phone frowning when you noticed Leah had never texted you back earlier before deciding to call her to tell her you were on your way to get her. You began to worry as the phone kept ringing before panic began to seep in when it went to voicemail. You hung up the phone grabbing your things racing to the car to get to Leah’s unsure of what you where about to witness but the overwhelming feeling of wanting to make sure your girlfriend was ok pushed all the bad thoughts to the side.
You jumped out of the car before racing to her door and knocking not wanting to just barge in but after five minutes you pulled the key from your pocket and opened the door shouting into the house “Leah.” You didn’t hear anything as you placed the keys on the counter and began looking for her “Darling you here.” As you made your way down the hall you heard a hum coming from the en-suite in her bedroom “my lovely you ok.” You tried the door to find it locked “Le open the door.” You didn’t hear anything but the lock click bride opening the door to see Leah sitting on the bathroom floor spots of blood covered her pyjama bottoms and the floor before looking at your offaly pale girlfriend who was looking at you her eyes brimming with tears “hey pretty girl it’s ok.” Leah shook her head “I’m so sorry Y/n.” You shook your head as you looked around the bathroom “you have nothing to be sorry for my girl.” You crouched down grabbing her face “what do you need.” Leah looked at you as a tear raced down her cheek “you.” You smiled sadly at her “you have me, I’m here, I’m not going anywhere but do you need anything else.” Leah shook her head as you sat on the ground “I’m so sorry, I thought it was tomorrow and I didn’t think it was going to be bad but I just I woke up and it wouldn’t stop.” You pulled her into your chest “you don’t have to explain anything to me it’s ok, I don’t mind sitting here with you ok don’t be sorry you’re ok.” You continued to talk soothingly to the girl for hours often breaking when she had to puke from the pain but yet she still wouldn’t let you leave. An hour after the last wave you of sickness you could tell Leah was getting sleepy “let’s move you to the bed humm.” Leah didn’t put up a fight as you stood slowly pulling her up before placing her on the edge of the bath before leaving to get new PJs “you want to have a shower now or later.” Leah shook her head “shower later please.” You nodded kissing her head before asking for permission to lift her top “ok arms up.” You kissed her neck softly as you undressed her before pulling her into clean pjs and picking her up to head to the bed constantly reassuring her, Leah whined as you moved away “I’m just going to clean the bathroom and throw your pjs in the wash ok, I’ll be back.” Kissing her forehead again you began cleaning up before getting a hot water bottle and tablets for her and heading back into her room before climbing into the bed not caring about changing out of your leggings and jumper. Leah moved to lie on top of you resting her head in your neck kissing it softly “I love you.” You hummed playing with her hair “ I know, I love you too.” Leah snuggled closer “thank you for looking after me.” You sighed turning to kiss her forehead “I’ll happily look after you for the rest of forever.” You pulled her impossibly closer before closing your eyes smiling softly as Leah kissed you neck once more.

my favourite person | joshua hong
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
prompt | i'm not a lot of people's favourite person
word count | 1.3k
genre | angst & (mostly) fluff
author's note | ugh i haven't written a longer fic like this in a while, i've missed this
Joshua was that type of person who never wanted to bother you with his own problems. He cherished you and your happiness way too much, so what would be the point in sharing his own worries with you?
He was a big boy, he could take care of himself, no matter how much he wanted to find peace and comfort in your arms.
You knew something was wrong, despite him insisting he was fine. You knew him like the back of your hand and something has been clearly bothering him.
His bright smile was gone and even if he did smile, it didn’t reach his eyes, like it usually did. He didn’t share any funny stories from the practice room, he went to bed without giving you your mandatory good night kiss and you woke up to his side of the bed cold and empty.
“Joshua, you really have to tell me if anything is bothering you,” you said and squeezed his arm. “I’m here for you.”
But the only response you got was a small smile and a “I’m fine darling. Don’t worry about me,” which didn’t make the case any better.
You decided to let it go and wait for him to come around. Especially, because he had a company dinner soon, which you hoped would cheer him up a bit.
Perhaps a talk with Jeonghan or Seungcheol wouldn’t hurt as well.
Leaving with a quiet goodbye and a kiss to your forehead (like he always did before leaving), made you hopeful you were slowly getting your Shua back.
Some of the boys posted a couple of pictures of them together, before the party even began and Joshua was in every single one of them.
He seemed fairly happy, but you knew very well he could have been pretending.
Nonetheless, you decided to put your phone away, there was no point in dwelling on whether he was fine or not.
He wouldn’t be coming back to your apartment tonight anyways, he never did after big parties. He was always afraid that he’d make too much noise and wake you up, so he always went back to his own place after a night of drinking.
Settling down for the night, you unawarely stroked the pillow on your boyfriend’s side, where his head would usually be. He had never told you this, but his heart always skips anytime you run your fingers through his hair, as a warm feeling settles in his tummy.
He was always convinced that love was an emotion that he’d never be able to describe, but the genuine care in your eyes and the happiness in your smile could make him talk about love for hours.
“Fuck.”
You tiredly rubbed your eyes with your (Joshua’s) sweatshirt, trying to pick up where the sounds were coming from, while still being half asleep.
You stumbled out of bed, not so gently running into your dresser, while trying not to freak out over a thief who's probably robbing your apartment right now.
Finally, reaching the kitchen, you exhaled in relief as you saw that it was only your boyfriend, trying to take off his shoes.
But then you realised something. Why was he here? And then you realised something else.
He was definitely not sober.
Seeing your boyfriend drunk was nothing new, but seeing him wasted was something you thought you’d never get to see.
“Honey, are you okay?” you asked, quickly grabbing his hand to get his attention. You couldn't help thinking that something bad had happened, as his eyes were wide and he seemed almost… scared?
Shaking his head, he clumsily grabbed your other hand, putting them on his cheeks.
For a second you thought about calling Jeonghan. You’ve never seen your boyfriend in such a miserable state before and it was scaring you. The light in his eyes was gone and his beautiful face showed nothing but pain.
Nothing about this was good, but the worst was that you still had no idea what had happened.
As you got lost in your own thoughts, you felt something wet hitting your fingertips and that was when you realised Joshua was crying.
“Oh baby,” you whispered, as he collapsed into your arms. His sobs echoed through your quiet apartment, while his shoulder shook with every breath he took.
He held tightly onto you, almost as you were his lifeline - the only thing keeping him alive. Your own heart was breaking with every cry that he let out, the sound shattering any ounce of hope that you had that he’d be all right.
You lowered both of you to the ground, so you could sit in the dark curridor, illuminated only by the moonlight coming through the window.
Taking a shaky inhale, he put his head on your lap, while you gently stroked his head and placed small kisses on his forehead, to let him know that you were there with him.
“I’m not a lot of people’s favourite person.”
The not so comforting silence of your apartment was finally broken by your boyfriend, who seemed to have calmed down, even though he still struggled to take a deep breath.
“What did you say honey?” you said quietly, brushing his hair away from his face.
“I think I’m not a lot of people’s favourite person,” he repeated, slowly pushing himself up to seating.
You looked at his tired expression, wanting nothing more to take all of his burdens away from him.
He was usually very good at avoiding the hate he got online, but from time to time, it could really get to him. It was unavoidable, you both knew that, but sometimes he wanted nothing more but to talk to his fans and have a good time with them.
But because a lot of people want to harm him, his reputation and his feelings, it wasn’t easy to manoeuvre between the good and the bad comments.
It seemed like this time he stumbled upon some really nasty shit.
“Why do you say that? Where did it come from?” you asked rhetorically, voice laced with concern.
He didn’t respond, only put his head on your shoulder, putting all of his weight onto you.
Not wanting to dig deeper, you put your arms tightly around his shoulders, and placed one of your hands on his tear stained cheek.
“You know,” you muttered so as not to startle him. “You might not be a lot of people’s favourite person, but you’re definitely my favourite person,” you kissed the side of his head, as you felt more tears rolling down his cheek.
“I have no idea how you’re feeling right now, nor will I ever get to experience what you’re experiencing, but I want you to know that despite all those horrible people that want to cause nothing more but pain, there are thousands of people who love you and cherish you.”
“Take a look around you. You have me, you have your brothers and you have your true fans that want you to be happy,” you whispered into his hair.
“I think that’s more than enough,” he said quietly, lifting his head to look at you.
His eyes were red, but to you they were the happiest they’ve been in a while. Even the corners of his lips were slightly turned upwards, to which you couldn’t help but smile.
“You cannot make everyone happy, Shua. There are going to be people that’ll want to hurt you, but remember that you’re always surrounded by people that love you,” you said.
He turned away to wipe his wet cheeks, feeling slightly embarrassed about his emotional outburst.
Usually, he’d go to his own apartment and cry himself to sleep, but tonight something made him come back home to you.
“Joshua,” you put your hand on his shoulder. “Next time, please talk to me before it gets that bad. I know that you don’t want to burden me with your worries, but I can't stand seeing you like this.”
“I love you so much, and I want us to go through the good and the bad together.”
He nodded and took your hand in his.
“Together.”

keeping it casual | leah williamson
pairing: leah williamson x reader
a/n: inspired by the song casual by chappel roan - a must listen for all the queer girlies who have been in confusing situationships. it sucks.
summary: reader and leah become friends w benefits, but reader wants more. leah is very clear however on the fact that she wants to keep things casual. miscommunication, a little angsty, little fluffy, and little smutty (if you squint).
word count: 2000
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
There was no denying your feelings for Leah. Of course you’d always been attracted to her, that’s how you ended up in this friends with benefits, no strings attached situation in the first place. However you had both made it abundantly clear from the start that you wanted this to be casual. You weren’t looking for a relationship, and from what Leah said, neither was she. It was casual sex, and that was that. Except now the lines were blurring between something casual and something real, and you didn’t know what to do about it.
What began as late night hook ups has turned into essentially living in each others houses, sleeping in the same bed every night, driving to and from training together, and from the outside it would appear you two were in a happy relationship. Everyone could see the way you two lit up around each other. But everyone also knew that Leah didn't have a reputation as a monogamist, and that raised concerns among some of your team mates. Namely, Beth Mead who pulled you aside one day for a conversation that became much more serious than you had anticipated.
‘What’s happening with you and Leah, darling?’ She asked you and you smiled.
‘I don’t know, it’s all a bit confusing to be honest,’ you admitted, shrugging your shoulders.
‘Y/N, you shouldn’t have to be confused. I really wish Leah would just grow up and be ready for a relationship, she shouldn’t be stringing you along like this,’ Beth said, and your defences shot up.
‘She’s not stringing me along,’ you said bluntly, ‘This was a mutual choice, we both went into this wanting nothing more than something casual.’
‘But don’t you want more than that? I can see it in the way you look at her that you really have feelings for her. I just don’t want you to get hurt,’ Beth said pleadingly, surprising you that she would come to you to try and persuade you out of this situation with Leah.
‘I can appreciate where you’re coming from, but I’m a big girl Beth, and so is Leah. Whatever happens I can deal with, but for now it’s good. You don’t have to worry,’ you told her and she nodded slightly, though you could sense that she wasn’t convinced.
The conversation ended there however, and you went back to training. That night when you and Leah went back to her flat, you wound up pressed together, trying to taste every inch of each other. While you rested your back against the headboard, Leah worked her magic between your legs, using her tongue in all the right ways to get you off. This is it, you thought, it’s just sex. But the way that Leah holds you and falls asleep with her face against your neck makes you think about your chat with Beth. Because not only do you want the obscenely good sex, but you want the cuddles, you want the late night conversations, and the waking up together. You want the inside jokes, and the stolen glances on the pitch. But deep down, most of all you want to know that Leah is all yours, yet that’s the one thing that you know you won’t get.
When you woke up the next morning you brought it up with Leah, in a subtle way, deciding to tell her how Beth had pulled you aside.
‘Beth doesn’t understand not wanting to be in a relationship, because she’s always in one,’ Leah had told you plainly.
‘Yeah,’ you agreed meekly, not sure how to digest that fact that Leah was still telling you that she didn’t want to be in a relationship.
While at the beginning you were on the same page, now her refusal to be exclusive feels like a knife in the heart. Because you had given Leah the best of you, and she still didn’t want to be with you, and that felt personal.
Despite all the feelings arising on your end, you two continued your pattern, living in each others pockets and sleeping together, but not putting a label on it. Now you were even attending Williamson Wednesday’s as you had dubbed it. The one night a week where Leah and her family all went round to her Nan’s house for dinner and board games. You had wondered what this meant for your relationship, regularly spending time with her family. In front of them she never tried to hide the fact that you guys were romantically involved either, she would gladly take your hand, or let her arm settle around your shoulders or waist, even steal a kiss. Leah’s own mother Amanda had praised you privately in the kitchen one night, thanking you for making her daughter so happy. And yet, her daughter remained certain that she didn’t want a relationship.
At this stage you were starting to feel disillusioned by it all. You started really questioning how on earth Leah could truly believe anything about your relationship was ‘casual’.
It all came to a head one night when you were out at an event together. You two were ready to walk down the carpet to get photos taken and Leah had planted her hand on your lower back, initiating that you two would walk together.
‘We wouldn’t want the press thinking we’re a couple now, would we?’ You said sharply, stepping away from her and choosing to walk first by yourself. You were tired of the mixed signals, and when you looked back at Leah you could see that you’d shocked her.
When you got to the end and walked on through to the next room Leah came quickly to your side, ‘Have I done something?’ she asked in a low murmur.
You settled your rising emotions with a breath and then turned to face her, ‘I just didn’t think you would want to be photographed with me by your side, seeing as you’re pretty adamant about how you don’t want to be in a relationship with me.’
‘Woah, where’s all this coming from?’ Leah said, stepping back slightly and holding her hands up innocently.
‘Forget it, let’s just get through the night,’ you say, putting it to bed for now.
Instead of spending the night with Leah, like you’d want to, you let yourself socialise and catch up with people who you hadn’t seen in a while. However you mind never strays from the blonde girl who you’ve completely fallen for. You’ve tried to push your feelings away, and tell yourself to just enjoy it for what it is, but you can’t do it anymore. You decide to leave early, ordering yourself an uber home, rather than using the car organised to transport you and Leah. In the back seat the emotions overcome you, and the tears finally fall. You begin to process how much you truly do feel for Leah, and you start to feel like an idiot for allowing her to just use you for sex for this long.
When you get home you can’t even bare to look at yourself in the mirror to remove your makeup. You just clumsily step out of your dress and crawl into bed, feeling lonelier than ever. Your pillows muffle the sound of you crying as your body shakes in the sheets. Hoping sleep will find you soon, you close your eyes and try to think about anything else. It’s no use but, your mind completely revolves around one person now, and the fact that she doesn’t feel the same way only makes you feel worse.
After what must be about an hour of wallowing, you hear your front door creak open and close and the click of heels on your floorboards downstairs. You know immediately who it is and you keep your eyes firmly shut, trying to stable yourself mentally for all this to come to an end.
You’re laying with your back to the door when she enters the room, her presence bringing with it an energy that never fails to fill you up with love and affection.
‘Hey,’ she says gently, stepping closer to the bed until she kicks off her shoes and pulls off her blazer then crawls under the covers herself, wrapping her body around yours and holding you against her. The tears come again and you find yourself silently crying.
‘Baby, please talk to me, what’s going on in that head of yours?’ Leah pleads, affectionately planting kisses into your hair as she runs her hands over your body. As much as you wish you didn’t, you relax into her touch, while your mind continues it’s internal battle about whether or not you should bring all this up.
‘I can’t do this Leah,’ you say, spinning around. She releases her grip on you and pushes your hair out of your face so she can see you properly.
‘Can’t do what?’ Her eyebrows knit together and her lips are slightly parted, trying to process the night.
‘I don’t know why I let this go on so long,’ you can’t even look at her, because seeing her face makes you want to forget about how you feel and let everything continue as it has been. You roll your face into the pillow, groaning and wishing this could be different.
‘You don’t want to be with me anymore?’ Leah echoes the information she is receiving back to you.
‘No,’ your voice is muffled by the pillows as you make your admission, ‘I want to be with you, that’s the problem, because you don’t want to be with me.’
Leah examines you carefully, smoothing down your hair as she tries to find the right words.
She speaks slowly when she does, allowing all the words to sink in, 'Y/N, of course I want to be with you, I thought I was following your lead with this whole friends with benefits thing.'
'What?' You turn to face her as you remember all the times she made it very clear she did not want to be with you.
'I would’ve made you my girlfriend right away, but you told me you weren’t looking for anything serious. I want to be with you, I thought you were the one who didn’t want a relationship,' she says, shaking her head, realising how this was a serious error in communication from both of you.
'Are you kidding me? I thought this whole thing was on your terms, and it was just about the sex for you,' you say.
'Are you blind?' Leah scoffs, smiling, 'You’ve basically moved in to my house, you come with me to visit my family every week, I thought I was making it obvious that I want you to be a part of my life.'
You smile at yourself now, feeling silly for not having just had this conversation sooner, 'Why didn’t you just say something?'
'Because I was scared! You always seemed a bit off about it all, but now I can see why,' she says, looking you deep in the eyes like she is finally understanding you in a new way.
'We both should have said something then,' you say and Leah nods.
'I can’t believe you would think I would use you just for sex, what am I, a man?' She says in sarcastic shock.
'You didn’t say otherwise!' You quip back.
'Well I guess I did want to keep having sex with you, that’s why I didn’t say anything,' she shrugs.
'Me too,' you smile.
'But you know this is so much more than sex, even though that’s also really great,' Leah says, letting her hand rest on the side of your face.
'It is for me too. I want everything with you,' you say, feeling like you’re stepping off a cliff, falling into a new part of your life. A life with Leah.
'So do I. I love you, Y/N, so much,' she says and you eliminate the short distance between your faces, kissing her gently.
'I love you too,' you say, resting your forehead against her as you pull back. Leah closes the gap now, kissing you again, and again.
‘So does this make you my girlfriend, then?’ She mumbles between kisses as your hands roam over her waist and thighs trying to take off her outfit.
'It better,' you say, not wasting a moment before connecting your lips back to her skin, just to make sure she knows just how much you’ve been waiting for this moment.

I Just Wanna Know You Better Now ~LA! Mihawk Imagine~
Summary: You meet Mihawk for the first time and he is not what you expect.
Author’s Note: I was gonna upload this yesterday but my boyfriend's alarm woke me up and put me in a bad mood.
Based in my Enchanted series
Reader’s Pronouns: She/Her
Warnings: mentions of killing, fluff
Side Note: This is a secondary blog. If you comment a question down below, I will not answer since this is not the main blog. Please send the question to my inbox if you want a response back!
Do not repost this anywhere!
Tumblr media
The village was small. Not what Mihawk was expecting to find the quarry that Vice Admiral Garp told him to kill. He walked around the village before settling to find information about you at a bar.
“What can I get you?” The lady working the bar asked as she approached him.
“Red wine if you have it,” he tells her.
“One glass coming up,” she tells him before pouring a drink for him.
“Do you know anywhere I can find someone named Y/n L/n?” Mihawk asked.
“Don’t know who you’re talking about. Never heard anyone by that name here.”
Mihawk could tell that she was lying. But she seemed calm about it so he wouldn’t press onto it.
“Alright. No worries. I just had a message to deliver to her from someone,” Mihawk said. The woman nodded before walking away to clean the bar more.
Mihawk paid for his drink before walking out of the bar. He headed to the outer part of the village where he saw a small house and a woman in the garden. He got closer and saw that it was you based on the description Vice Admiral Garp gave to him. Though he was a little surprise with your aura.
“You don’t seem like someone who can harm a fly."
He watched as you turned around to look at him. Mihawk couldn’t deny that you were beautiful.
“I can hurt a fly. Don’t think I’m good at harming anyone else,” you tell him as you stood up. Your arms are crossed defensively but Mihawk had no intention of hurting you anymore.
“I see.”
“I know who you are so what do you want?” You asked him. A bold one, Mihawk thought to himself.
“I was sent to kill you but in all honesty, I don’t think I can kill you. You’re too beautiful to be killed,” Mihawk tells you.
“Who sent you to kill me?” You asked worriedly as you took a step back.
“Not to worry now. I don't have any intentions to kill you anymore," he tells you. Truthfully, Mihawk would be more upset if anyone hurt you. Even if he did meet you just now.
“Then why are you still here?” You questioned.
“I'm curious to see why someone would send me to go after you,” Mihawk tells you as he took a step forward.
“Feel free to stay. Just to tell you, it's going to be quite boring,” you tell him before picking up your basket.
“Allow me,” Mihawk said as he walked over and grabbed the basket from your hands.
“It’s not that heavy,” you pointed out.
“No. But how else am I to make you to start trusting me?” Mihawk asked.
“By not killing me.”
“I will do no honor in killing you,” Mihawk said.
Mihawk sat on a chair as he watched you sort out your fruits and vegetables in your kitchen. It felt awkward knowing a famous warlord was watching you sort out the food you picked from your garden.
“How long do you plan on staying?” You asked.
“Until I’m needed elsewhere,” Mihawk answered truthfully.
“Do you have a place to stay?” You asked him.
“Don’t worry about me darling. Just continue what you’re doing,” Mihawk tells you. You nodded before picking up the basket with the food you were going to sell.
“I’m heading to the market now. I don’t know if you want to join me or if you want to stay here,” you tell him.
“I’ll join you,” Mihawk tells you before joining you in the market.
You traded some fruits and vegetables for some meat before selling off the rest. Mihawk watched a close eye on you as he followed you around. Everyone was too scared to question the warlord behind you but he didn’t care. His main focus was you.
The next day, he showed up at your front door.
“Did you eat breakfast yet?” You asked him.
“Yes.”
“Okay. I need to go to my job and I don’t think a warlord is going to be comforting to the kids,” you tell him before grabbing your things to head into town.
Before, you would just only teach Luffy. But since the school needed a new teacher, you became the village’s teacher.
“I’ll walk with you then,” Mihawk offered.
“Okay.”
Mihawk took your bag in his hands before following you to the school.
“You don’t have to wait for me you know. I’ll be at the school for a while,” you tell him.
“Who’ll carry your bag then?” Mihawk asked.
“I’m not some helpless woman you know. I can carry my own bag,” you tell him. Mihawk just stared at you as you walked inside the school.
Mihawk didn’t do much as he waited for you. He did grab you some pastries from the bakery before heading back to the school to wait for you again.he could hear the people talk about seeing the warlord waiting by the school for the teacher. He didn’t mind for once.
“Did you wait the entire time?” You asked Mihawk after you finished saying bye to your last student.
“I wasn’t doing much anyway,” Mihawk tells you as he handed you the box of pastries. He took your bag again in exchange.
“Thank you,” you said as you looked up at him.
Mihawk gave you a nod before the two of you walked back to your home.
“No tending to the garden today?” Mihawk asked you.
“I will. I just need to prep for dinner tonight,” you tell him.
“Why don’t I tend to your garden?” Mihawk offered.
“You know how to garden?”
“I know my way around. Where’s your basket?”
“Um by the door.”
“Won’t be long,” Mihawk tells you before walking out.
As you cooked dinner, you accidentally touched the hot pan making you hiss in pain.
“Ow!”
You didn’t think Mihawk heard you until he rushed through the door with a full basket. He placed the basket on the table before he checked on you.
“What happened? What’s wrong?”
“Just burned myself.”
Mihawk quickly grabbed your bucket of water before gently putting your finger in the cool liquid.
“Thanks.”
“Of course.”
"I made extras if you'd like. I got used to cooking for two," you tell him as you took your hand out and dry it with a towel.
“Was it for you and your past lover?” Mihawk asked. He noticed the ring dangling from a chain on your neck the moment he met you. But there were no signs of him anywhere in your home.
“Not really surprisingly. I used to take care of a little boy who used to live with me who had a bottomless stomach. He wanted to become a pirate so he set sail a year ago," you tell him.
“I see.”
“So, dinner?” You asked.
“Why not,” Mihawk said as he put his sword away.
Mihawk cleaned up before sitting with you at the table.
“I hope you like it,” you tell him. Mihawk took a bite of the food, nodding in approval afterwards.
“It’s good.”
“Thank you!”
“You should let me cook for you sometime,” Mihawk tells you.
“What kind of food do you cook?”
“Anything that can go well with red wine.”
“You like red wine?”
“I do. It’s a classical drink.”
“Maybe I’ll buy us a bottle and we can have a drink together,” you tell him.
“Or I can get it along with some other supplies for when I cook.”
“Are you sure?”
“Please. Let me cook for you next time.”
“Alright. Deal.”

In the Middle of the Night, In My Dreams
Pairing: Rhysand x Reader
Summary: Reader has nightmares when Rhys is away, but even when he’s not there, he knows how to calm them down.
Word Count: ~800
Your nightmares almost always ceased when Rhysand was with you. His presence had the ability to calm and soothe you, even when neither of you were conscious.
This was great when he was home, but it made the times when he went on missions without you even more difficult. You would often wake screaming when he was gone, then would desperately wish that your mate could be there to calm you down enough for you to fall back to sleep.
Rhys, Cassian, and Azriel had business to attend to. They had offered for you to tag along, but you had your own business to attend to in Velaris, so you had hesitantly declined, knowing that you wouldn’t be sleeping well, partly because of your own inner demons, and partly because you always hated it when they walked into danger. You knew Rhysand was the most powerful High Lord in all of history, and his ridiculously powerful friends would do anything for him, but still. He was your mate. If anything happened to him… You tried not to think about it.
While you hesitantly declined to go with them, Rhysand hesitantly agreed. You tried to hide how much them being gone affected you, so he wouldn’t worry, but your mating bond made that difficult. He knew very well the condition that you were in when he would leave, and felt your terror throughout the night. He would often try to calm you down through the bond, but he knew it wasn’t the same as being there.
He always asked whoever else stayed behind to keep an extra close eye on you to make sure you were eating enough, and taking naps throughout the day. He also knew that you were perfectly capable of making your own decisions, so if you said you wanted to stay, that’s what you would do. Even if he wasn’t happy about it. Though he did acknowledge that you would ultimately be safer at home than you would be traveling with him and his inner circle, so that at least, was a relief.
Your High Lord and your friends had been gone for about a week, and they weren’t sure when they would be able to return. Tonight, your own terrified screams woke you, just like every night since they left. You were trembling, eyes still closed, clutching the sheets and trying to focus on your breathing, trying to sort through what was real and wasn’t.
You unconsciously waited for Rhys’s words to show up in your mind as they often did while he was away and you accidentally woke him up through your bond. You’re alright, darling, he’d say. Listen to my voice; pull yourself out of it. You’re home, you’re safe. I’ll be home as soon as I can. I love you.
Suddenly, arms wrapped around your middle from behind, and you shrieked before you recognized who it was.
“I’m here darling, it’s alright,” Rhys murmured in your ear, gently burying his face into the crook of your neck.
Your body relaxed instantly and you leaned back into his touch, silent tears rolling down your cheeks.
You turned around to face him and he pulled you in close so that your bodies were flush together. He gazed down at you and gently wiped your tears with his thumb, his eyes full of anguish at the site of them. “Please don’t cry, sweet one, you’re okay.”
“You’re home,” you whispered.
A wisp of a smile appeared, his thumb still absentmindedly stroking your cheek. “I’m home. I’m sorry I was gone so long.”
Your eyes raked his body, searching for any signs of injury. “I’m okay, my love,” he said knowingly. “Not a scratch on me.”
Sighing with relief, you wrapped your arms around his neck, kissing him softly. “And Cassian? Azriel?”
“Perfectly fine,” he murmured, before leaning in to kiss you again.
Finally, you could feel yourself relax completely, and Rhys felt it too. “You know I hate leaving you,” he whispered, gently kissing a line down your neck. “I hate that you don’t sleep while I’m gone.”
“I know. I’m sorry I worry you,” you said sadly, twining your fingers into his hair.
“No, don’t apologize, darling,” he said, his face rising to meet your gaze, his fingers flexing against your skin like he was trying to emphasize the point. “I just mean… I hope you know that I’ll always do my best to be here for you. No matter what. Even if I’m not physically here.”
You kissed him, cupping his cheek with your palm. “I do know. Of course I know.”
“I love you,” he murmured before kissing your forehead.
“I love you, too.”
He smirked, lying down fully. “Let’s let you get some rest, yeah?”
“Finally,” you sighed, snuggling into him and drifting off into a peaceful sleep.

Beach Day (HangmanxF!Reader)
Tumblr media
Summary: F!reader’s asthma is flaring up at the beach and Jake is being a worried mother-hen.
A/N: I was working on this before I received the prompt: Hangman takes care of the person of your choice.  But this fits that prompt perfectly!  Let me know if I should also post this on Ao3!
Rating: G
Word Count: 1,254
Sitting on a towel in the sand next to Maverick, you watched as your boyfriend Jake ran around on the beach playing football and let your eyes shamelessly roam over his shirtless body, glad you had sunglasses on so no one could tell.  Jake had originally asked you to the beach with his team to play football with them, but when you woke up with your asthma flaring up, he decided it was probably just best for you to sit and watch.
“Why aren’t you out there playing with Hangman?  You don’t normally pass up an opportunity to run around with him,” Maverick asked curiously as he pulled two bottles of water out of the cooler he brought and held one out to you.
“I woke up wheezing this morning.  Jake wanted me to sit out,” you explained as you took the offered water, cracking it open to take a swig.
“Your asthma?  Does it normally bother you?” Maverick asked, turning his head to look over where you were sitting, making a mental note of how raspy your breathing was, despite the salty ocean breeze.
Jake knew that normally the sea air opened your tight lungs, which is why he suggested you still come even if it was just to sit on the beach.  Today however, you had a feeling when you got back to Jake’s place you were going to be curled up to your boyfriend with a breathing treatment going.
“It doesn’t usually, but the heat the last few days has been making me wheeze more than usual,” you shrugged as you took another drink of water before coughing a little.
Reaching into the beach bag you brought, you grabbed your inhaler from where it had fallen to the bottom.  Shaking the device, you let out a wheezy sigh before taking as deep of a breath of medicine as you could manage.  You let your eyes drift shut behind your sunglasses, focusing on the medicine settling in your lungs before you shakily exhale, your next breaths coming a little easier than before.
Because your eyes were closed though, you didn’t see Jake jogging towards you and Maverick, him having noticed you taking a dose of your medicine, making his worry from earlier come back full force.
Jake crouched down in front of you and gently reached a hand out to brush a piece of hair behind your ear, frowning at the sound of your breathing.
“Hey pretty girl, how’s your breathing doing?  You still don’t sound too good,” Jake said softly, no sign of his usual cocky confidence as he ran his thumb over your cheek, causing you to open your eyes even though he couldn’t see them.
“Hi Jake, I’m okay.  My chest is still just a little tight,” you admitted with a wheeze, taking another drink of water when Jake guided it up to your lips again.
“I can hear it darling.  I’m worried about you.  Maybe we should head back to my place and get you into the AC.  Mav, I’m sorry about this.  I know we just got here not too long ago, but I think we should head out, her breathing isn’t getting better,” Jake said as he turned his head to look at the older pilot, hoping he would have some sort of advice.
Frowning, Maverick nodded at Jake’s words and gave you a once over himself, making a mental note of how your cheeks were flushed from your wheezy breathing and not just the sunshine.
“If it’s the AC she needs, do you wanna try taking her inside for a little bit first?  I’m sure Penny wouldn’t mind,” Maverick said as he glanced back to the Hard Deck and where Penny was sitting at one of the tables outside.
“Can we try going inside first?  I don’t want to ruin the beach day,” you wheezed, your shoulders starting to rise and fall a little faster as Jake reached out to move your sunglasses to the top of your hair, wanting to study every part of your face.
Frowning, Jake didn’t like the idea of waiting out the flare up any more than necessary and tilted your chin up so you were looking at his his eyes.  “Are you sure the AC is all you need?  We’ll try your medicine again once your inside.  But if it doesn’t work, I’m taking you home.”  Jake’s tone of voice was commanding, and if you hadn’t already been having trouble breathing, your breath would have caught in your chest from arousal, loving when he took charge.
You nodded at Maverick’s suggestion though and held out your hands for Jake to help you up.  “Let’s try inside first.  Please?”  Your wheezy voice was hopeful as Jake stood from his crouched position, pulling you against his chest before he dropped a kiss to your forehead.
“You get half an hour,” Jake stated as he grabbed your beach bag and looped an arm around your shoulders to steer you up the sand to the bar.
“Hey Penny, sorry to bother you, but can I take this one inside for a bit?  Her shitty lungs need some cool air.”
“Yeah, of course!  Does she need some water?” Penny asked as she moved to her feet to let the two of you inside, noticing that your water from Maverick was almost empty.
“Yes please, if it’s no trouble,” Jake smiled as he led you to the chairs at the bar, rubbing his hand over your upper back as you sat down in a chair.  “Thanks,” he said absentmindedly as Penny set the glass of cool water in front of you, all of his attention back on you as he stood behind you, rubbing the knots out of your tight shoulders.
“Inhaler again,” Jake said bluntly with a nod to the device, watching as you shook it again before taking another puff of the medication.
Normally you would be embarrassed at the amount of attention that was directed at you for your asthma, but there was a small part of you that loved how protective Jake was over you and how in control of the situation he was.
Letting the medicine settle in your lungs again, you exhaled with a few coughs trailing it, the exhaustion from your breathing and the sunshine finally washing over you as you shivered from the AC.
Taking a slightly deeper breath, you winced before turning in the barstool to settle your cheek against Jake’s warm chest, fighting back a few tears now that the two of you were alone and you didn’t need to have your guard up.
“Whoa, what’s with the tears sweetheart?  You’re okay,” Jake whispered in confusion as he hugged you close, confused as to where your sudden emotion was coming from.
“I d-don’t feel good.  My chest is sore, and my inhaler isn’t doing much good.  Can we go back to your place?” you finally wheezed out as a few hot tears fell down your cheeks.
“Sure, we can head out.  I’m sorry you don’t feel well darling.  We’ll get you a breathing treatment and a cold shower, then watch a movie.  Are you okay to walk to my car?  Or do you want me to carry you?” Jake asked, just wanting to hold you close and get you feeling better.
“Carry me please?” you whispered softly, letting him scoop you into his arms as he brought you out to his car and buckled you in, ready to head back and smother you with love.

Overworked | Alessia Russo
Tumblr media
Pairing: Alessia Russo x Reader
Summary: Alessia realizes that you're overworking yourself and decides to take action into her own hands when you keep pushing yourself.
Masterlist | Woso masterlist | words: 1.2k
Work was asking a lot of you during this time of the year, it was a busy period in general with Black Friday, and the holidays coming up. These months were known to everyone in your department to be the busiest of the whole year. Usually you were barely able to handle the pressure during this time, but now the pressure was even bigger.
Throughout the past months your department had been expanding. Business was going well, which meant that the workload was increasing. The company hired a total of four new people over the course of three weeks. You were grateful for this as the work would be able to be divided amongst more people but before the new hires would be able to work in full capacity, they had to finish training, which each member of your team gave them in smaller parts. It took quite some extra time to train the newest additions to your team but of course their education and being well rounded in their new functions was very important.
While training the new hires, two of your team members were expecting a baby at the end of the year, meaning they are out on maternity leave. On top of that, a coworker just quit, and if that wasn’t enough, people were getting sick one after another.
All in all, you were stressed about getting everything done in time. You would come home from work, eat dinner with your girlfriend, and then excuse yourself to finish up some work. Most times finishing up something turned into hours overtime. Your girlfriend subtly tried to take you to take breaks but those hints were mostly ignored as you kept typing away.
“Darling, please come to bed.” You heard Alessia say from behind you. You paused your work for a second and turned around. She leaned against the doorframe of your home office, she was wearing a pair of soccer shorts and an oversized t-shirt, her comfy look accompanied by a messy bun. Normally you would drop everything to join her in the coziness and spend the evening cuddling up with her in bed, but you knew that if you stopped now you would be even more stressed tomorrow. “You go ahead, I’ll join you in a bit.” Alessia knew better than to push, so she walked over to place a kiss on your forehead. You had to fight the urge to melt into her touch. “Don’t make it too late, please.”
The next morning when Alessia woke up, you weren’t in the bed with her. She got up and walked to the home office right away, thinking you might have worked all night. When she saw you working in your pajamas, one of her old jerseys and a pair of sweatshorts, she knew you had been to bed at some point. She walked downstairs to make the both of you some coffee. “Hey, I figured you could use one of these.” The girl pulled you out of your focus. “Oh, thank you, darling. I hope I didn’t wake you.” Alessia shook her head, “No, don’t worry. I have to leave to go to training in half an hour.”
Alessia sipped her coffee from the lounge chair in the corner of the room. Knowing she would not be able to pull you away from the work you needed to do, she chose to sit with you, to be able to spend some time with you. She was worried about you, never before had she seen you this stressed, or overworked. It was hard for her to let you keep going, while she could see you weren’t doing alright. She made a mental note to ask her teammates for advice later today.
You managed to get a lot of work done, so you allowed yourself to have a proper meal with your girlfriend. Alessia plated the food, fully believing you would take yours upstairs to continue working but when she saw you sit down at the dining table, she quickly sat down across from you. “Hey Less, I’m sorry for not being very present at the moment. I promise I will be better when work slows down a bit.” You say between bites. “It’s okay, you don’t have to worry about me, I know it’s a busy time.”
That night was the first time in a week where Alessia felt you get into the bed at night. She gave it a moment before rolling over and cuddling into your side. Your exhaustion accompanied by the warmth of your girlfriend made you doze off quickly.
Alessia was surprised to find you still sound asleep next to her in the bed when she woke up. She looked at the time and realized it would only be a couple of minutes before your alarm would go off. Knowing you had slept so little in the past couple of weeks, and seeing you still sleep so deeply now, she made the decision to get out of bed and turn off your alarm. She quietly made her way downstairs, careful to not wake you. Once she was out of hearing distance, she grabbed her phone and called your boss.
It wasn’t until hours later that Alessia heard noises coming from your shared bedroom. She found you stumbling around, trying to get your clothes on as quickly as possible. “Why didn’t you wake me?” You ask as soon as you see Alessia walk in. “Hey, hey, calm down.” She says while moving your way to help you stay balanced. “What do you mean calm down, Less? It’s 1pm. I am so late, my boss is going to kill me.” Alessia hadn’t really thought this part of her plan through but by the amount of sleep you got, she knew that she made the right decision. "Because your boss thinks you’re sick.” Your eyes shoot up at hers. “Alessia Mia Teresa Russo, why does my boss think I am sick?”
Alessia’s eyes widen at your use of her full name. “Please don’t be mad.” She started avoiding your eyes at first, then she remembered why she did it. “You haven’t slept properly in weeks, and I can see that it is taking a toll on you. I woke up a little before your alarm and realized that you were still asleep. I knew you needed this sleep, so I called in sick for you. I apologize for doing it behind your back but darling, you needed this.” You sat down beside her on the bed. “You’re probably right. Only one day though!” Alessia nodded, already happy that you were agreeing to take it easy for the rest of the day. “Plus you are ordering food from my favorite place because I am starving.” Your girlfriend smiled up at you, “Deal, now get comfortable because we’re gonna watch that movie you’ve been wanting to watch.”
After some delicious food, you start the movie. Spending the rest of the day cuddled up with your girlfriend. You realized just how much you missed her these past weeks, and were grateful that she went to these lengths to take care of you. “Thank you, Less.” You whisper in her ear before placing a kiss on her cheek. “Thank you for always taking care of me. This was exactly what I needed, you know me so well. You are the best girlfriend in the whole wide world.”

Damon x reader - know you
Tumblr media
I just got cheated on so could you possibly write a cute fluffy Damon story where the reader has anxiety or something :) - Anon💜
Damon knew your tells and signs for when your anxiety was getting bad.
He picked up on them when he first met you, while his brother was obsessed with your best friend you were different, quieter, you didn’t talk much unless you were spoken to.
One evening he noticed one even while everyone was at the his talking and enjoying a relaxing night that you started to slowly tap you leg.
“Hey, can I talk to you?” Damon asked you.
He placed his hand on your shoulder and you nodded, getting up to follow him.
The others didn’t seem to notice the pair of you slipped out of the room and Damon waited for you in the hallway with his arms crossed.
“What’s Uhm.. what’s up..?” You asked softly.
“That’s what I wanted to ask you.” He said.
Standing this close to you, he could clearly hear the rapid thumping of your heart, the way you were breathing a little quicker than normal.
“Huh? Oh nothing.”
Damon sighed, rolling his eyes as he looked around before taking your hand in his and leading you alway.
Damon took you up to his room and closed the door, letting you sit on the bed and he rummaged through his clothes and pulled out a sweater, handing it over to you.
You pulled it on and he crouched on front of you, resting his arms on your legs.
“Come on, talk to me? Is it your anxiety?”
You sighed and nodded your head.
“It.. it’s stupid.. I’ve been taking my meds.. I’ve been fine for weeks…” you mumbled.
Damon got up, sitting behind you he wrapped his arms around your waist and pulling you in against his chest.
He took a deep breath, and you did the same.
“It’s okay to have hard days, we can’t be fine forever darling, you know that.”
You sighed and shrugged.
“I just… I hate it so much Damon…”
Damon rested his chin on your shoulder and you titled your head to rest it on his.
“We’ll get you through this don’t you worry.”
Damon laid down and pulled you down with him, holding you tightly against him.
“Can we just stay here..?” You asked softly.
“Whatever you want.” He said.
You flipped yourself over, balling your hands into the fabric of his shirt while you lightly bounced your leg up and down.
Damon debating stopping but, but decided not to, knowing it was something that helped you.
Instead he pressed a kiss to your forehead and tucked your head under his chin as he held you.
He knew your preferred silence when you were trying to calm yourself down, you didn’t want to think about anything.
He just happily laid there with you in his arms, eyes closed as he listened to the sound of your heartbeat and how calm it sounded.
Eventually with the silence and the exhaustion from pretending to be okay around the others and the meds that were supposed to help and from being an the verge of a panic attack.
He just carried on holding you, face buried into the crook of your neck falling asleep with you in his arms.
You woke up before Damon it was still night, and the room was dark but you could still feel Damon’s arms wrapped tightly around you and you smiled.
Nuzzling into him a little more, you leg out a soft sigh and yawned a little stretching out before getting comfortable again and drifting back to sleep.
Damon was like a calm space for you, he was the person who you felt calm around.
For a vampire who was always so energetic or angry, when he was around you all of that went away, he stayed calm to keep you calm and you knew it was hard for him something.
You couldn’t be more thankful for him

Tumblr media
A/n- probably will edit a bit later, but I won't be able to be as active for a little while so just thought that this would be a fun. (I say this, and I'm probably going to end up posting the third chapter by the 15th. )
Tumblr media
Your place the last flower into its designated spot. Using your sleeve, you wipe the sweat off of your temple. You had been out here for hours working on rearranging the garden. While it was rare to find something as nice as a community garden in such a crime ridden part of gotham. It wasn't impossible with the right people. You put the last bit of dirt into place, grab your gardening tools and head upstairs. You place tools by the front door, as you take off your shoes. Your mom was standing in the kitchen biting her nails, waiting for you.
“Darling.” You turn on the faucet, wincing at the temperature of the water as you rub your hands together. “Why would you do that?” you look at  your mom, the worry was written all over her face. You look back down to the sink, you couldn’t look at her. The water runs off your hand, now tinted red from the blood. A mix of both your’s and the person who lays underneath the apartment’s community garden.
“Maybe to save your life,” You grab a few pumps of soap and lather up your hand. You feel your mom giving you the look for your sarcasm. “I am sorry mom, they were trying to take you.”
You remember the moment, two masked people were carrying your mom into a black van. You didn’t have time to think about your reaction, you just acted. You grabbed the biggest brick near you and jumped onto the person carrying your mom. They were bigger than you, see as they were an adult. Not even thinking twice, you got blood on your hands. You grab the gun off of their limb body and point it at the other person. They pulled out their gun shooting your arm, but you quickly shot their hand, making the gun fall out of their hands. They climbed into the van as you shot again missing. They closed the door and sped off.
“Yes, but you know that I always told you to never do that.” She pulls her hand over her face, then pushes them back into her hair. She paces around the kitchen. The water was now clear, you took hydrogen peroxide and poured it on your hands and over the sink.”please look at me.” You didn’t raise your head. Your mom grabs the bottom of your chin and turns your head to look at her. “You look at me when I talk to you.” black inks out of her irises, completely consuming the white of her eyes. Your eyes widen, you rip your chin out and run into the corner of the room.
“Please don’t” you defensively cornered yourself into the kitchen counters. “Don’t do that please!” You breathe quicken as you stare her down. She furrowed her brows, and she quickly approached. You breathe harder the closer she gets. Your vision narrows. Black slowly creeps into the corner of your eyes. The last thing you remember is your mom rushing toward you.
Tumblr media
“Wake up.” A familiar voice calls. Your eyes jolt open, you are met with your own face. They are identical to you in every way. “Hello. Nice to meet you, or well me.” They rest their head on their knees, keeling over your body. You look past them, it was all just white with no edges or ceiling. You try to move, but you are stuck. “Oh yeah, sorry, you can’t speak, it tends to take up too much time.” They smile at you. You are still trying your hardest to speak, blinking rapidly in a weak effort to move. They chuckle a bit.  “Anyways, I'm going to make this quick. You are in the in between and-”
You are able to pry your mouth open as they speak  “Is it called the in between because we are in between realities?” You blurted out. They lift their head from their knees and tilt their head.
“Yeah,” They stand up, their face seem to be more continuous than before. They walk around you and your eyes follow them.
“How original.” You poke at them. “Let me guess, you would call your dog ‘dog’ wouldn’t you?” you still couldn’t move the rest of your body but at least you didn’t have to listen to them.
“No, i dont like animals” You were offended, this person claims to be you, and yet they dont like animals, not a single one. “You are much more difficult than I thought you would be.”
“You thought I was going to be easy to deal with?” you laugh out as they give you a nasty look. They kick your side with their feet.
“You are just as annoying,” You give them a smug smile. “I was just to say thanks for taking my place but never mind”
“What do you mean by-” They reach their hand out to touch your forehead, you move your head to the side quickly. They let out an aggravated sound and attempt to grab your shoulders, but you rolled away. They chase after you as you continue to roll away from them, until you are able to lift your head and see a hole. You debated about if you should roll into there but they were getting closer so you would rather take your own chance right?
“Hey you better not-” You roll in that hole. They run over trying to grab you but you are too far down. You can hear their scream as you fall deep into the hole. It gets darker the further you go, you tightly close your eyes waiting for the inevitable splat on to the ground.  It never came.

Staking My Claim Part 4
Now we get to the part that started this whole thing. It was really meant to be the boys being silly and getting to be goofy.
Steve really has found his people.

When Steve woke up again he could hear the faint sound of a female voice talking in the front room. He was on his feet in an instant. He knew that voice.
He swayed a little when he stood, so he stopped to take stock of why. After a moment or two he decided it was because he stood up too fast as opposed to a remnant of the drug.
He went flying out of the bedroom and threw his arms around Robin.
She squealed with laughter. “Dingus! I was so worried about you!”
“I know, Robbie,” he replied and kissed her cheek fiercely. “But I was in good hands.”
Robin’s eyes narrowed on Eddie. “And were you going to get handsy with those hands, Mister?”
Eddie’s eyes went wide, but Steve laughed.
“That was the fucking plan before the asshole interfered.”
Robin slapped her knee. “Stevie was going to get laid. I told you going out was a good idea, even if things got derailed a bit.”
Steve blushed and ducked his head. “Maybe.”
“Robin here has been telling us all about the different jobs you two have had,” Jeff said with a large grin from the sofa.
Steve turned slowly to Robin. “You didn’t.”
She grinned up at him. “You looked cute in the shorts, babe.”
“I most certainly did not,” he defended hotly.
“I don’t know,” Brian said with a shrug. “The one time I took my sister to mall for ice cream, I didn’t think the uniforms looked too bad.”
All eyes were riveted on Brian.
“You’ve seen the uniforms?” Jeff asked eagerly leaning forward. “Do tell.”
Brian laughed. “Just cutesy little sailor outfits, dude. I don’t know what you want me to tell you.”
Eddie narrowed his eyes. “It is a pox upon mankind that I missed the cute little sailor outfit.” He held his hand over his forehead like a swooning maiden.
“The hat was hideous,” Steve insisted.
Eddie straightened up, eyes wide. “Lo! There was a hat, too?”
“Yeah,” Robin said. “Like the ones Donald Duck wears.”
Eddie then mock fainted. “Be still my beating heart.”
Steve leaned over the counter to look down on him. “Oh no! Looks like I’ll have to do CPR.”
Eddie was sitting up, suddenly flopped on the floor again. He stuck his tongue out.
“Darling,” Steve cooed, “isn’t it a little too early for tongue action?”
Eddie tilted his head as thought about it and then stuck his tongue out as far as it would go.
Steve laughed. “Let me guess, it’s never too early for tongue action?”
Eddie shook his head.
Steve walked around the counter and knelt next to Eddie. Everyone was bracing for a makeout session when Steve picked up Eddie’s hand and licked it.
“Ew!” Robin hissed, her face twisting in revulsion.
“Gross!” Gareth agreed.
Jeff buried his head in his hands. “Why would you even do that, man?”
Steve smirked, still holding Eddie’s hand. “You know, it’s like when you’re a kid and you lick the best cupcake to claim so no one else will it eat?”
Eddie sat back up in a rush. “Did you just claim me?”
He smiled back. “Yup!”
Eddie tackled Steve to the floor and began kissing all over his face as Steve laughed.
“Oh no!” Brian groaned. “There are two of them?”
Robin’s eyes went wide. “Weird little dorks with no sense of personal space?”
Jeff nodded.
“They’re going to be absolutely disgusting, aren’t they?” Gareth asked, scrunching up his nose.
“Mwah!” Eddie said, putting a big kiss on Steve’s cheek, before sitting back up.
Steve followed suit and put his head on Eddie’s shoulder, lacing their hands together.
Eddie nudged him with his shoulder. “Come on, darlin’,” he cooed. “You shouldn’t be sitting on the floor when you’re still sick.”
He got up and then helped Steve to his feet, too, their hands never parting.
“I’ll take his clothes to get them washed,” Robin said, breaking into the gentle moment that lingered there. “Where are they?”
Eddie frowned. “I think they’re still on the bathroom floor, unless one of the neat freaks cleaned up after him.”
Jeff and Brian both stuck out their tongues at him.
“They’re still there,” Gareth said, wrinkling his nose again. “No one wanted to touch them.”
Steve wrinkled his nose, too. “I’m sorry. They must have really been rank.”
“Hey, man!” Jeff said. “No is judging you or blaming you. You were sick. Drugged even. We didn’t touch them because we didn’t know what to do with them, not because they were gross.”
Steve blushed and ducked his head as Gareth led Robin to the bathroom with a plastic bag to gather Steve’s things.
Robin came back out and waggled her eyebrows at Steve. “Damn boy, you were dressed to fuck.”
Steve’s blush darkened and he tucked his hands between his legs. “Was not.”
“A crop top and booty shorts?” she questioned. “If that isn’t your slut outfit than what is?”
Eddie frowned. “Hey, hey. We don’t slut shame in this house. Nor do we victim blame.”
Robin blinked at him in confusion and then her face cleared, her eyebrows shooting up in shock. “No, no! That wasn’t what I meant! I was being... supportive? Excited for him? Because he was out to pull doesn’t mean he was down to fuck whoever asked. Steve is a choosy bastard that way. That’s all I meant. I swear!”
Eddie gave her the side eye, then looked to Steve. Steve nodded, indicating that yes, that’s what she meant.
Eddie sniffed disdainfully, causing the guys to laugh.
“I’ll allow it,” he said haughtily.
Robin laughed. “Stevie, you’re in good hands.” She turned to the guys. “I can take anyone home if they need to be back sooner rather than later.”
The other guys looked around each other.
Brian and Gareth raised their hands.
“I have to go into work tomorrow,” Brian said.
“And my mom said that if I could get home sooner, she’d feel better,” Gareth added.
Robin turned to the remaining Corroded Coffin member. “How about you Jeffy? You need to be back?”
Jeff shook his head. “I’d rather stay here and head back with Eddie and Steve. I don’t work until Monday because the shop is closed for inventory and between the two of us, I’m better equipped on handling anything if Steve gets sick again.”
Robin looked at Eddie who half shrugged.
“His mom is a nurse,” he explained.
Robin nodded. “Let me know when you boys are ready to go.”
Gareth and Brian nodded.
“Call me when you get home, dingus,” she told Steve.
He saluted and she laughed.
Soon their numbers were cut in half.

“Can’t sleep?”
Eddie Munson x female reader
summary: you and eddie can’t sleep.
warnings: mentions of postpartum, mentions of abuse and eddie’s dad, so much fluff it may kill you, mom reader! dad eddie!
Tumblr media
When he couldn’t sleep, he watched his baby. Watched her breath, stir in her sleep and make little noises and huffs. He’d pull up an old rocking chair wayne had given him, sit there with a pillow behind his back, often falling asleep. Tonight was one of those nights.
Her nursery was rainbow themed, pinks and purples everywhere with big, white clouds. Her crib had stars painted on them and glow in the dark stickers on the ceiling. In the day time, the room was bright and colorful, but it was dark now, only the glow of the neon stickers above his head and a revolving fish nightlight on the nightstand across the room.
His eyes dropped closed, but he didn’t want to fall asleep, didn’t want to miss a moment of watching his darling angel sleep. Little Joanna Munson.
Being a father had completely changed his life for the better, but it was also the scariest thing he’d ever had do to. He worried about so many more things, things he’d never had to worry about before. But the most overwhelmed thing so far was the love that he had in his heart. He didn’t think he’d love anything more in the world than you when the both of you met, but his heart grew another size when you gave birth to her, and he was absolutely, unconditionally in love with his baby, so much that it almost hurt.
It made him love you so much more, so grateful for giving him something so precious, something that was a part of him to live on. He was indebted to you, forever grateful. He worshipped you like a god, admired all the things your body could do. You struggled with postpartum a lot, something he tried his best to understand, helped as best as he could. He tried his best to take care of Joanna as much as he could, not that he minded it. She was only two months old, but he knew she was incredibly smart. She was already wrapping her tiny hand around his finger, pulling at his hair and staring at him with her big, brown eyes that she had gotten from him.
“Can’t sleep?”
He looked over his shoulder, smiling softly when he saw you. He shook his head, beckoning for you to come over. You did so, sitting on his lap and cuddling up to his chest, smiling at your baby in the crib. He leaned his head against yours, wrapping his arms around your body as he slowly rocked the chair. “What you doing up?” He asked quietly.
“Woke up and you were gone.” You yawned. “Knew you were in here. Has she stirred any?”
He shook his head. “Nah, she’s fast asleep.”
You closed your eyes, his soft breathing a lullaby for you, his body warm and comforting. Eddie still wouldn’t close his eyes, trained on the pink onesie and head of hair that he could see in the dark. Sometimes he cried when he watched her, he wouldn’t dare tell you that, but he did.
“I’m so in love with you.” Eddie squeezed you. “I can’t ever thank you enough for giving me this life. I don’t deserve it.”
“Yes, you do.” You said sleepily. “How many times do I have to say it? You deserve this, us.”
He kissed your forehead, his cheek against your ear. “I never thought I could love anything as much as I do her. It’s terrifying, loving someone so much.”
“I know.” You opened your eyes, finding your daughter in the dark. “It’s so overwhelming, isn’t it? Sometimes I think my heart is going to explode.”
He nodded in agreement, parting his lips in deep thought. That’s it exactly what it felt like. His heart was going to explode. “She’s so perfect, isn’t she? And so small.”
You chuckled, your feet curled up on his thigh. “Thank you. I take most of the credit for that.”
“Honey, you get all the credit.” He smirked. “She’s your exact replica. You can definitely tell she’s your baby.”
“She’s your baby, too, sweetheart.” You looked to him, cupping his cheek. “She may have my hair and my nose, but she’s got your eyes, and that is a telltale sign that she’s your baby.”
His heart warmed at your words, his cheeks blushing in the dark. “Yeah, she does, doesn’t she?”
You smiled tiredly, grabbing his jaw with your fingers to pull his lips down to yours, giving him a sweet, delicate kiss. “You’re a wonderful father, Eddie.”
He rested his forehead against yours. “I’m terrified I’m gonna end up like my old man.”
“Eddie,” You sighed. “I promise you that’s not going to happen.”
It was his worst fear, a nightmare that he feared would eventually come true. He’d drive you away, raise a child that he’d beat and abuse, who would later grow up to hate him. He didn’t want his family to repeat the one he’d had before.
“Hey,” You noticed the swell of his eyes in the dark. “Eddie, look at me, baby.” You held his cheek. “You are not your father. You’re not going to be your father. You’ve got me and her to keep you steady, just like you keep me steady, right? We’re a team. You don’t let me fall, I don’t let you fall.”
He let a tear fall, nodding and whispering a choked yeah. You wrapped your arms around his shoulders, kissing his cheek as you held him tightly through the night.
