he referred to jude as a false nine so that’s probably what he views him as
and jude literally said he hated playing false nine. it’s clear he struggles there so idk why southgate is so keen on starting him in a position he’s not comfortable with. same with trent, he’s not a midfielder he’s a RB
This is eating me up inside, I genuinely want to know why is Steve so okay with putting himself down and everyone just thinks it’s fine? Like no one questions why he thinks so lowly of himself even though he’s done a lot to prove that he’s more than what the show let on. I think it’s weird how in a conversation he’ll slip in comments about himself that are negative. I also think it’s so gross that he can’t have a moment of confusion without being disrespected and I know it’s supposed to be funny but at a certain point someone should really ask “is Steve okay?” I can bet money that the answer won’t be yes.
I also want to add how come Eddie (someone who doesn’t even know Steve from a can of paint other than school) find something nice to say about him and not put him down. This also adds to my list why I think steddie is real but that’s for another time
Ryan Gosling getting an Oscar nomination for Barbie but them snubbing Margo for actress and Greta for directing is the biggest example of the patriarchy still thriving. The Academy completely missed the message of the movie and I am so angry!!!
I will never stop thinking about how Zoe has a crush on Marinette but she’s also supposed to be Chloe’s replacement.
I don’t think this just meant as the bee holder. I think this meant for a lot of things.
Being Andre’s new daughter, being the star for that movie.
The only thing Zoe hasn’t completely replaced Chloe in is being Adrien’s childhood bf.
So….with all of this being said…
DOES THIS IMPLY THAT CHLOE ACTUALLY MIGHT HAVE HAD A CRUSH ON MARINETTE AND IF CHLOE GOT HER REDEMPTION, WE COULD HAVE SEEN A CONFESSION FROM HER??? I-
This means that Thomas knew about the popular headcanon that Chloe was sapphic and was secretly in love with Marinette/Ladybug. HE TOOK THAT ISH AWAY FROM CHLOE AND GAVE IT TO ZOE-
What if Eddie asks Steve about what happened with the Russians and how it affected him. Steve has never been asked how that experience changed the way he is as a person or how traumatic the whole situation turned out. I think season 5 would’ve been an amazing opening for that conversation and we get to see Steve’s genuine point of view if that day while Eddie even goes into detail about how he felt about the demobats and the upside down in general. Ugh what could’ve been 😞
I hate the way the way Criminal Minds’ writers handle the characters’ love lives (so far, season 4. From the spoilers I have seen I know it only gets worse). It started with Spencer and how he had a spark here and there with two characters in two different episodes throughout the seasons, but soon as these episodes ended, it wasn’t mentioned again.
Then Jj’s love life? Absolutely messy. She goes on a date with Spencer, never talked about again.
She flirts with Will, he leaves and we don’t hear about them again for a season if not more. We don’t get many details about them or if their relationship progressed.
Then she seems to have moments of “closeness” with Emily. Fast forward to the episode with the gay serial killer and Will’s friend being a victim of his, we discover they have been dating for a while? And she has a semi gay awakening/questioning, and she seems to relate to the way the killer was rejecting coming to terms with his sexuality.
She breaks up with Will during that episode. Ends up back with him at the end of THE SAME EPISODE???
They start to move so fast with their relationship, and she gets pregnant and then has a baby and it’s all just so rushed (she makes Spencer the godfather of her CHILD???). I like her relationship with Will, but she has better chemistry with Emily or even Hotch?
It’s just so weird. The whole show has an avoidant attachment style. We lost two main characters during the first three seasons (I understand the actors’ motives behind leaving the show), but wouldn’t that cause me as a writer to WRITE some stability into the remaining characters’ lives? To keep the audience engaged?
I also liked the agent that was a replacement for Jj during her maternity leave, agent Jordan. I wish they had kept her in one way or another.
I love the show and I love the cast. But I can’t deal with these things.
