New Quirk Name: Gas Pass

This Transformation type Quirk allows the user to make an extremely thin gas from their body, spreading out up to several meters around themselves. This gas can pass through anything, including things like gas masks and close mouths, entering directly into people's bodies. While acting normal gas, the target does undergo an intense affect. This can make the person feel heavy, lethargic, and even pass out from having the gas pass through their body like this. The user can pull the gas back into themselves when they wish, and they are immune to the effects. This gives the user a good tool for dealing with others, bypassing any defenses in their way to leave foes reeling. If nothing else, it can work good for area denial. Though this only works on living targets and knocking the user out can end the effect of the Quirk. The gaseous nature of the Quirk can make it harder to use around allies and means it can still be blown away.

seriously have been thinking about this all night long. call me autistic but the fact that 90% of workplaces the point is not to get your work done and then be done doing it but to instead perform an elaborate social dance in which you find something to do even when you're done doing everything you need to do in order to show your fellow workers that you, too, are Working . because you are at Work . disgusting why cant we all agree that if there is no work immediately to be done. we just dont do anything

#i personally like to not be doing things constantly at all times. it stresses me out #i know there are ppl who thrive on cosntant activity #but me i like to chill out. #and the problem then becomes that i only ACTIVELY remember to do work and Find More Work To Do when im stressed #at the thought that others might want to see me working #if im ever relaxed i just dont look for stuff to do #catch 22 of modern work culture which permeates even ostensibly noncapitalist structures like public libraries #for instance: will it really kill anybody if the books get shelved by me now after a very busy day? #or shelved tomorrow morning by. well probably me since i'll be the one at the desk #not in the slightest #but it was work that wasnt being immediately done by me. therefore it was incorrect behavior #that i failed to identify because my instinct is to relax when not immediately presented with a Situation #this got me labeled as 'having no initiative' by my dad from a very early age #and even as an adult i still feel like im a child with no initiative

Which Quirks would work best in basketball?

Okay, but hear me out: Space Jam, but with the cast of My Hero Academia. We could have the heroes be the Loonatics and Nomu be the Monstars. It would be perfect. It wouldn't even be that hard to recast the characters. There is a fanfic in here people.

Cement: This only works on certain arenas, but it would be useful when you're in those areas. Brings a whole new meaning to the words "street rules".

Dog: I could mention the greater physical abilities the Quirk offers, but that's not why it's here. I've seen Air Bud enough times to know that dogs are built for basketball.

Larceny: Not only could you keep the ball in your hands with the pull, you can nick it from other people who have it. I've heard of stealing the ball, but this is ridiculous.

Boomerang: I mean, what is even the point of playing the game? You could make baskets from across the court without any trouble. All you have to do is throw it.

Leap: I mean, this is the jumping Quirk. I feel pretty obligated to put in. Just get the ball and then it's literally a slam-dunk. That and it'd be neat to leap over anyone trying to block you.

Dupli Arms: This would be great for blocking and denying other people. You could cover all five players by yourself with the arm flaps and that's not even mentioning the forest of arms they'd have to get past.

Permeation: Considering that the game can involving being blocked a lot, being able to pass right through them while still holding onto the ball would be both useful and hilarious. Just try to keep the jersey on.

Strongarm: Obviously, the Quirk that improves your arms would help in shooting and dribbling. Though there may be risks involved since passing the ball the teammates my result in it passing right through them.

Slide and Glide: Just the inherent variety of this power at work. You could quickly slide around the court, rapidly dribble and shot the ball with the repulsions, and anyone trying to block is going to get flung across the court.

Frog: This honestly has everything. You get the sticky pads to hold the ball, greater jumping abilities, and can be the animal sidekick. Plus I'm certain there aren't any rules about using your tongue on the basketball.
