Charaters I’ve enjoyed recently are Zelmare Roulette (on the left) and Swanee Capps (on the right) from Fargo season 4. I love them so much. They’re the first canon lesbian couple on the show. They’re the first couple who are POC as well. Zelmare is black and Swanee is Chinese and Native American.

Fargo is a very white show so seeing them on TV was unbelievable. (Seeing all the black folks this season was so amazing as well!!!) They were so funny and badass. They have some great quotes too!

The main reason why I like them so much is becuse they inspired me to make fanart and dabble in writing fanfic for the first time. I was always the observer and never the one to create fan work until now. I never thought it was something I’d have the confidence to do. I guess seeing two gay characters of color genuinely care and love eachother on a show like this was amazing to me.

They didn’t get a good or happy ending tho (don’t get me started lol) but Fargo isn’t a happy ending type of show. I’ve also met some really cool friends on the fargo season 4 discord server so shout out to them!!

Hi! I have definitely seen you post about them! Indeed, I do not go here so I know nothing, but I'm glad that you met friends and enjoyed your time. Honestly, some of the best folk I know - I'm talking sending me vids of their nephew's starting to walk, helping each other get food and stuff, celebrating birthdays and so on - are folk that I met through fandoms.

I don't like this news of the no happy ending, and I don't know if I was gonna ever be a Fargo kinda gal, anyways, so that definitely puts me on my side of the fence. 😂 But, thank you so much for sharing with me!! I love to hear folk gush about their loves, even when I don't know the content. ❤️

Just realized I never posted this here: Fargo fanfic idea

So... there’s a bizarro hyper specific in-universe afterlife where all the characters from Fargo go when they’re killed. All of them (except Yiddles, who went straight to super hell) are meandering around this small Midwestern town, just... there. For all eternity. Some make up with each other, others continue their rivalries, tho they can’t kill each other - all wounds heal immediately. Calamita and Gaetano are boyfriends now. Loy and Rabbi like to torment Josto, who indignantly insists that being killed was punishment enough, but no it’s definitely not.

But then Numbers arrives. He hates it here. He misses is partner, hates thinking about him alone with no one to talk to. Moskowitz tries to take him in and hang out with the other Jewish gangsters. he plays catch with Ari... but that reminds him of Wrench, too.

He sees this one little cowgal on the edge of town, throwing herself across the border only to appear back in the other side instantly. She is testing every inch, trying to find a weak spot. She climbs on top of the buildings and hurls herself off, hoping to fly upwards. The others all think she’s nuts. Loy tells him it’s Swanee Capps and that she is trying to get back to her partner.

Numbers sees her in at he town bar one night crying into her milkshake, so he leaves his card game and joins her. He says he wants to get back to his partner, too, but it’s impossible so just accept that we’re dead. Also, he is from 50+ years after her, her partner would be an old lady by now. Swan laughs and tells him time don’t mean nothing here and “accept it” is what people said when she went to prison. “But I busted out of the slammer and I can bust out of here, too!” So numbers is like “you’re right, fuck it, let’s run up that hill and kill god or whatever” and they start to plan.
