No one has ever heard from god. We’ve only ever heard from some man (occasionally a woman) that *they* heard from god.

God never punished me for any sin; only men have done that by burdening me with guilt and shame for what *they* believed was sinful.

Thinking about Weird Barbie and how she's the very obviously queer outsider of the Barbie world, she straddles the lines between Barbie and the Real World. She's the most aware of the performative nature of it all. She supports Barbie while also gently mocking her panic at losing the hyperfeminine perfection. Her weird house is also home to the discontinued reject weird Barbies, the outcasts (including very gay earring Ken) who never fell into either the original matriarchy or the Kentriarchy brainwashing.

The other more classically heteronormative and beautiful Barbies both pity and fear her, and at first the narrative pities her as well. She's the vessel of girls going weird and crazy and feral on their dolls and that's amazing. Weird Barbie is aware of who she is and how the world sees her and she loves it. She's Weird Barbie and She Owns It.

I think God views humanity similar to how I view project cars.

Like some cars, some people aren't in good condition but God still sees the value in us. He would rather help fix us and save us than let us continue rotting to Hell because we are made in His image and worth restoring. We're all just a bunch of old cars that need restoration.

Brennan really took Ally accidentally naming a goddess after a Greek mythology figure and ran with it this season. Fabian and his whole Narcissus thing with Ecaf. The dance bard teacher having the same name as the Greek muse of dance. The place where the shards went back to being essentially Tartarus (body of a god used to house/torture the worst sinners or in fantasy highs case, dead/forgotten gods). Ambrosia being needed for devils nectar when it originated as food for the gods in Greek and Roman mythology. I’m seeing a pattern here
